CHANGE OF PROFORMA INVOICE FOOTER

Hi
I need to change  INVOICE FOOTER in output  the Currently XXXX appears in the footer this needs to be changed to YYYY.
Please let me know how to do this.
Thanks,
kumar

Hi,
This change you have to do in SMARTFORM/SAPSCRIPT
Get the smartform/sapscript from the NACE transaction code of your output type
if it is a smartform then goto the transaction code SMARTFORMS and enter the details and Locate the text on the FORM PAINTER and double click.
It will lead to the window in which the TEXT was maintained
If you have access you can change it directly by replaceing the old
If it is a SAPSCRIPT then goto the Transaction code SE71 and locate the text in the same way and change
If you dont have access, then take help of ABAPER to change the text

  • Restricting Changes in Delivery after proforma invoice is generated

    Hi All,
I have a requirement where i would like to restrict certain changes in delivery document for which proforma invoice is created so that the final invoice remains in line with the proforma invoice.
for. example. change in item quantity, adding another items etc.
is there any configuration settings for the same?

    Hello,
When do you create Proforma Invoice? After PGI or before PGI.
If you are creating Proforma after PGi then there is no issue as Delivery Cannot be changed after PGI.
If you are issuing Proforma Invoice before PGI then you will have to go for a Z-Development as there is nothing available in SAP Standard to fulfill your requirement.
    Hope this helps,
    Thanks,

  • Proforma Invoice creation and changes to PI

    Hi,
    1. Can we create a proforma invoice with reference to a quotation in standard SAP ( hope not), if so how
to configure it if not how to do the developement ( using ABAP ).
    2. Can we chage a proforma invoice once it is created , can we change the quantity and price of the items.
I request you to provide me the answers for my queries.
    Thanks
    Venkat.

    Dear Venkat,
    > 1. Can we create a proforma invoice with reference to a quotation in standard SAP ( hope not), if so how
    >      to configure it if not how to do the developement ( using ABAP ).
    Here no need of ABAPer
For this requirement you can get through maintaining copy control settings between your quotation type and proforma invoice type F5.
You just copy  the standard settings between OR and F5 through VTFA transaction then change the document types item categories to your document types and your item categories.
    > 2. Can we chage a proforma invoice once it is created , can we change the quantity and price of the items.
Again it will depend upon the copy control settings between quotation and proforma invoice.
Billing quantity controlled by Billing quantity field at item level copy control settings.
Pricing controlled by Pricing type field at item level copy control settings.
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • Change Item Quantity in the Billing Document ( Proforma Invoice )

    Hi,
There is a requirement from the client to change the quantity at item level in the billing document ( Order based Proforma Invoice ) after it is saved.
As SAP does not allow to change in the VF02 transaction, Please let me how to change quantity at the item level of the billing document.
Please let us know if we need to use any user exit or any other system modification.
    Regards
    V R Reddy

    Hi Venkat Rama Reddy
First of all Welcome to SDN forum
Now coming to your query , your requirement cannot be fulfilled  as standard SAP doesn't .Because ,First of all at billing level you cant change the item quantity , then in VF02 it is not possible. But if your clients requirement is to change the item quantity in VF02 , then first of all do VF11->VL09->VL02N and here you can change the picking quantity and then do the billing ,as once if you change the picking quantity then at billing item  level also the item quantity will change
Check with the following user-exit  USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE. Here with the help of the Technical consultant include the requirement that after saving the billing document we can change the item quantity
But it is not suggestible to change the item quantity at billing level . As once you save the billing document , an accounting document will be getting created.

  • Proforma invoice is created for delivery without PGI in STO(Depot sales)

    Dear Gurus,
I am facing a strange issue, user created Purchase order with some material X of 4 quantity, and he created the replenishment delivery for 1 quantity and without doing any Picking and PGI but system allowed to create proforma invoice with 4 quantity I checked the copy control config settings for Delivery and Proforma invoice all are maintained fine (viz., billing qty as D, copying req:311 and Data VBRK\VBRP:001)( Ichecked the change log for delivery but I didnt observed any chanes in delivery) .. strange to watch ........created the same scenario in quality but system doesnt allowed to create proforma invoice without PGI and picking(Just one month before quality is refreshed with Production).
If anyone faced the same problem let me konw the solution ate the earliest.
    Best Regards,
    Kishore.SGR

    Hi
As already said, as per the standard the Performa Invoice do not check the Goods Issue status of a Delivery since it uses the Copying Requirement 009 in transaction VTFL.
If you want your performa invoice to be created only after the PGI of a delivery, then use the Requirement 003 in Copying Requirement field for the combination of your Delivery Doc. and Billing doc. in transaction VTFL at Header level.

  • Requirement of invoice list in case of a proforma invoice generation.

    Dear Experts,
I have a case where the customer is indulged with the export sales & he had delivered the excisable goods to his customer (or we can also consider it under STO as one of the above case) & wants to arise a proforma invoice in context to this transaction with the delivery document being taken as the reference document in the billing screen VF01; where, as I have already mentioned that the PGI has been done. Now the problem is this that the billing document is not getting generated with an information log that, '_The invoice list cannot be determined_'. Now I am not able to understand that why this is happening? This was the delivery related with a single line item.
I went for changing the billing relevance field at VOV7 from 'A' to 'J' & even tried by changing the copying requirement from '010' to '311' at VTFL, from LF to F8 (as this is normally followed during the issue of free samples & subseqyent free of charge deliveries); but was not able to get the required output.
    What to do? Kindly assist.
    With regards,
    M.S.Kumar.

    1) The document flow is like this that between the two plants for e.g. 1000 & 1100 under the same company code  the stock transfer needs to take place.
    2) Plant 1000 is devoid of the required amount of stock, hence it raised an enquiry for the aforesaid amount of stock with plant 1100
    3) Plant 1100 confirmed the availability of stock
    4) Plant 1000 raised a purchase order with plant 1100
    5) Plant 1100 raised the sales order for the required quantity of stock with plant 1000, & has done the PGI under delivery.
    6) Now the plant 1100 wants to raise one proforma invoice with respect to the delivery of goods being done to the corresponding plant 1000 & one commercial invoice for the payments to be made.
    7) The processing from raising the purchase order to the delivery of the goods to the respective plant has already being performed.
    8) At the moment of creating the proforma invoice with billing type F8, the system is throwing an error message that it is not able to generate the billing document because of the reason that the invoice list date cannot be determined.
or else in the other way, in simple manner what needs to be done when simply the billing document is not getting generated in context to a delivery document because of the reason that the invoice list date could not be determined. Does this have to do anything with the POD time frame or the pricing conditions being defined under the pricing procedure which has not been followed upon while processing the sales order?
    With regards,
    M.S.Kumar.

  • Proforma Invoice with reference to schedule Line

    Dear Experts,
Whenever we create proforma invoice related to sales order, the system will copy every thing from sales order and same thing will be reflecting in proforma Invoice. If I want to create a proforma Invoice only for partial, can I do it.  Because we dont have any option to change the billing qty in vf01 or vf02. Is it possible to  change the qty in proforma invoice.
    Regards,
    Reji

    Hello Friend,
If you want to have Pro forma Invoice with partial quanties then you need to have Billing Plan assigned to your Sales Order.
But if the Proforma invoice with respect to Delivery then you can change the quantity for the same if in the order for the relevant item category if you maintain for Relevance for billing as K (Delivery-related invoices for partial quantity).
Then in billing you can manually go and change the quantity.

  • Sales proforma invoice - f.o.c.

    Hello,
    I have the following issue.
For customs purposes our sales company has to create a proforma invoice with reference to the delivery.
If the order (TA) was for free (itm.cat. TANN) because of warranty, they have to print a proforma as well with the value of the parts.
Now I have the problem that in the proforma invoice it doesn't allow me to change a price from zero to whatever value, cause the itm.cat. TANN is an item without price calc.
Does someone know the correct procedure?
    Many many thanks,
    Wolfi.

If it is acceptable to display the valuation price of the goods, you can use the value of VPRS (I guesss this is not acceptable for business since they would disclose confidential information)
    Other options might be:
    - if the f.o.c sales document is created with reference to the original sales document, you can pick up the price from there
    - you can try to simulate the pricing in the program of the form (using FM "PRICING", "PRICING_DIALOG" ??? - I haven't tried them...just found them on sapfans forum; if necessary you can; you can try to find better standard FM or develop your own solution)
    Just my ideas...

  • Proforma Invoice in Intracompany  STO Process

    Hi Gurus,
I am trying to make Proforma Invoice in STO Intra company. But it is giving the errror "Not relevant for billing". Actually i want to create a excise Invoice from this Pro forma Invoice. I have also maintained NLN item category in Copy control between NL to F8. but still the invoice is not created. Can anybodu plz tell me where i am missing the configuration?

Check the item category determination for Scheduling agreement DL at sales document level. Use T-code VOV4. If the ItmCat is DLN, then go to VOV7 and check "Relevant for Billing" field (under business data). If it is blank, then change it to 'A" delv rel billing, and save.
Now create your STO and delivery and do PGI. Create the invoice, should not give error.
    reward if useful.

  • In STO(stock transfer)proforma invoice is done without PGI.

    Hi
    experts,
in our system for stock transfer (STO) PROFORMA INVOICE  is done without POST GOODS ISSUE.
I want to make compulary PGI AND THEN PROFORMA INVOICE.(DELIVERY-PGI-PERFORMA INVOICE)
is there any USER EXIT OR BADI.
    THANKS
    AJAY.

    Hi,
goto VTFL select Delivery type to Billing type to which you want PGI should be Checked before Invoice
Goto Header detail and change the Copying requirements as 311.
Hi , I have tested again in my system , It is working fine with Routine 311 - Copying requirements at item level (VTFL) , while creating invoice you will get log info saying document has allready been created, so check again once..
Ex : Copy controls (VTFL) = F8 to LF , Item category TAN (Standard) assign 311 To Item category.

  • A/R reserve Invoice as Proforma Invoice

    Hi experts,
I have one doubt in A/R reserve invoice. My Client is using Proforma invoice. They will send this Proforma invoice to their customer to get get Confirmation about the Invoice. Once their Customer, confirms that proforma invoice, Our client will prepare the Original A/R Invoice. This flow is done manualy.
when i map this flow in B1, i cant create  A/R invoice after posting the A/R reserve invoice having SO as base document. I can only create Delivery & A/R credit memo. More over when i was trying to  create A/R Invoice by selecting the that Specific SO as base document. I can find that SO.
Can you help how to map this flow in SAP B1.
    With thanks
    Manickam

The Reserve Invoice is mainly created when you do not want to reduce inventory but be able to create an Invoice so that you can receive money against it.
It does not change inventory quantities.
Let us say you have a Sales Order for Rs.1000 and you business policy is to take 50% advance..  You can create a Reserve Invoice for Rs.500 and then process an Incoming payment.
When the order is completed..Copy the SO to Delivery..AR Invoice..and on the AR Invoice screen adjust for the advance by linking the Reserve Invoice..

  • Proforma invoice for Service Contracts

    Hello,
I know the invoice types F5 for order related proforma and F8 for delivery related invoice. Now I'm looking for possibilities to create a proforma invoice based on a Service contract (Order Type WV) as a periodical invoiced sales order.
I tried to use proforma invoice (type F5) with Service contract but the billing plan will be set on status C (completely processed) so that the same period can not be invoiced again with the real commercial invoice. The billing status in the sales order has been changed as well with the proforma, which should not be the case as the proforma should just generate a printout.
Does SAP offer anything or how can I setup customizing to be able to create proforma for periodical sales orders?
    Kind regards
    Rafael

    Hello,
    Thank's for the information.
Finally I tried to copy our existing invoice type and set it up like F5 but the problem is still that the billing plan periods are set to status C - completely processed. The accounting side is OK as no accounting document is being created.
But with this billing plan situation it would not be possible to create first the proforma invoice for one Period and then later create the real commercial invoice for the same period.
Any ideas what I can setup to avoid this problem? I thought of chancelling the proforma after creation so that the billing period will be opened again, but this is no user friendly or professional solution.
Thank's in advance for your ideas.
    Kind regards
    Rafael

  • Problem with pricing condition type in case of proforma invoicing

    Hello All,
the problem is related to a pricing condition type in case of proforma invoice where the details are as follows -
Name of Condition Type - ZADC - Add 10% on Cost                                         Access seq.   Z038 Diff
                                                                                    Plus/minus    A Positive
Cond. class -  A Discount or surcharge
    Calculat.type -  A Percentage
    Cond.category - Blank
Manual entries      D Not possible to process manually
    Amount / Percent - Checked
    Item Condition - checked
    Scale Basis - Quantity
    Currency Conversion - Checked
    Quantity Conversion - Checked
This condition type has been kept as statistical in the pricing procedure. Still in the proforma invoice the condition type is not getting reflected automatically , whenever I am updating with " carry out new pricing " option the condition type is getting populated. In case of other commercial invoices this very condition type is getting populated automatically without any updates.Along with this point to be noted is that the Condition type in which the actual costi is captured has been kept active.
What more needs to be configured or what are the changes to be done to populate the condition type automatically as statistical during the time of proforma invoicing?
    Thanks & Regards
    Priyanka Mitra

    Hi,
Kindly do the pricing analysis and check whether you have the following error such as
Inactive condition type because of subsequent price,

  • Item Position Relevant for Proforma Invoice

    Dear experts,
In VOV7 I've put D in the filed for Billing relevance (relevant for pro-forma)
But when I try to create the Proforma Invoice with VF01 (I'm sure that the Invoice type is a Proforma Invoice) the system give me the message  "The document is not relevant for billing".
    Could you help me?
    Where am I not right?
    Regards
    Max

    Hi
    1. As a suggestion i don't feel , changing the Item Category properties to create a pro-form invoice is right option. Unless that particular item category is always used to run a scenario where you create a Pro-Forma Invoice.
    2. If you want to create pro-form invoice first and then Final Invoice you have to choose the Option A in VOV7.
    3. Check as which pro-forma invoice you are trying to create, Order related / Delivery related.
    Thanks

  • Wrong frieght value in Proforma Invoice

    Hi,
When Freight is calculated in the SO, the same is not copied into the Proforma Invoices (F8) but the correct value is copied to commerical invoice. this is happening for only particular item for rest of the items it is getting copied correctly.
Is there any SAP Notes for this ?
    Regards,
    Kiran

    Hi rao vc!
System combines both deliveries in to one invoice, based on your customising setting in the copy control from delivery to proforma invoice. If u do not want those to be combined then change your copy control.Tcode: VTFL( DElivery to invoice)
In your second case if u are having two line item in your invoice then the total value has been shown at header level. This is standard process. If you split your invoice then this will be sorted out.
      Reward if helpful.
