Change the ItemCode in a document line

Hello Everybody
I'm looking for help. I try to change an ItemCode in a documentline that is for replacing it by a fake itemcode to let me ignore that line cause i can't remove it but wen i update the document i have an error number -10 concerning the VAT Group!!!
oDoc.lines.itemcode = "CANCELLED"
oDoc.lines.price=0
oDoc.lines.quantity=1
odoc.update()
Help needed!

Does the CANCELLED item exist?
Does it have a default VAT group?
Try doing exactly the same using the GUI, and it is supposed to give the same error. Try debugging this way.

You can set the document language in Acrobat: File > Properties > Advanced tab > Language drop down box under Reading Options. This informs screen readers (for example) what language the document is written in.

How to change the owner of a document ?

I am trying to change the owner of a document, when the document meets certain conditions using an Agent (server Extension). The getOwner() method of the PublicObject returns me the DirectoryUser. How do I get the list of DirectoryUsers so that I can select the new owner to be used with the method setOwner() of PublicObject.

Changing the title of multipel documents

Hi there Apple fans.
I was wondering if there is a way -- with Applescript (or some other tool) -- to change the title of multiple documents.
You see I have about 800 "songs" from and Audiobook. And they are called *"The Dark Tower VII - The Dark Tower 001..002..003.. (all the way too 800)"*. It's like this, The Dark Tower is a series, and this is the seventh book, which is also called The Dark Tower.
And what I want to do is to have them called just *"The Dark Tower 001..002..003"*.
This is annoying because when I am viewing the files in my iPod, only half the name is shown, *"The Dark Tower VII"* not the file number. So it is a hard time trying to find where you are, which file you are on.
For Finder documents this is easily done with Automator. Just rename and then use sequence. But there is no such option for iTunes.
I am almost positive that there should be some way to do this with a rather simple Applescript script. Unfortunatly, I have almost no knowledge of scripting.
If anyone has any idea please post them here.

Change the exchange rate of a line item manually

My company has an issue regarding the exchange rates. We are in a country using EURO.
Though from one of our vendor we take prices in USD. In our pricing procedure in the sales orders we post the price of the vendor and in the prices we maintain another condition type for our profit.
In the case of the vendor price that gives us USD, we have want to give the price in the usd and the system to translate the usd in eur (in the next line of the procing procedure) accourding to an exchange rate that the user will give per line item.
At the moment the system thanslates the price to eur accourding to the exchange rate from the system (automatically) and I haven't have the possibility to change the predifined exchange rate manually as I want to do.

Exchange rate are maintained in the T.Code "OB08".
Goto the T.Code "OB08".
Change the exchange rate as per your requirement.
If you want to get different currency then goto the T.Code "XD02".
Enter your customer number,Company code and sales area.
Goto Sales area data.Sales tab.
Change the currency to your value as per your requirement.
If you create a new order with that customer,then we will get this new currency.
After creating the invoice,pass the accounting document number into "FB03" and enter the company code and fiscal year.
Enter.
Click on "Currency".
It gives you the value in base currency.

HP Scan and Capture Can't change the location that scanned documents go to

I just upgraded to Windows 8.1. I scanned a word document using HP Scan and Capture and the default location to save files is now "This PC". I can see the folders under "This PC" and can save the document to one of the folders, but I can no longer browse to anything else. If I click on This PC, I have the option to go to OneDrive, This PC or Network.
If I click on Network - I can type in \\mycomputer but it just let's me select a folder. I'm trying to get to an external hard drive and I've tried typing \\external drive, \\f, \\f:, \\f:\
Anyone have any suggestions? I've gone to the preference section of HP Scan and Capture and when I select that I want to change the default location where I save the files, it puts me back to the This PC area.

I see you are running into issues with your scans save location. I would like to try and assist.
I would recommend creating a new destination folder, and manually type out the full file path.

Changing the color of a Basic line object nested in a table cell

Can anyone help me out here...I have inserted a line object from the Basic palette into a table cell on my web page and it displays fine but is default black color...I would like to change the color but haven't been successful in doing so..any ideas

Hmm - doesn't sound right.
"color=#hex" is not appropriate HTML markup.... Can you show us where you
made this change?

Changing the status of appraisal document

dear experts,
I am working in ECC 6.0
I have created an appraisal category and template and want to maintain it for evaluations and released the document
After saving and completing the document, i want to revoke the status from "released " to "non released". I have also deleted all the appraisals thro " transaction -"appchange "
i am not able to revoke the status from released to non released . what is the solution for this issue ?

Hi
You will not be able to change the templates that have been released. This is a part of the standard functionality.
To unrelease and make the changes execute the following steps
1. Go to transaction phap_admin
2. Delete all the open documents (in process, assigned, etc) corresponding to the appraisal template
3. Right click the appraisal template in phap_catalog and change the status to not release

I made a ClassObject 'Division' that is a subclass of the
oracle.ifs.beans.Document,
and I want to change the content of a Division instance while it
is being created because I can't change the editor (Epic) that
creates this object.
(and it has to be at creation time!)
To do this, I made a server-side class S_Division that
implements the extendedPreUpdate method.
I was able to get the content of the object when that method was
called for the 4th time
and that way I could change some attributes of that object that
depend on that content.
My problem is that I need to change the origal content into
something else using that extendedPreUpdate method
and I don't know how.
The bean-side Document class has an easy method setContent
(DocumentDefinition) for changing the content of its instances,
but the server-side S_Document doesn't!
So how can I do that using the server-side classes?
Maybe using the update(OperationState,
S_LibraryObjectDefinition) method?
Can someone give me some help or an example that shows me the
way?

How to change the color of circles and lines in Acrobat DC

I'm using the Add Circle and Add Line tools in the Fill & Sign tool set to add markups to a PDF. Is it possible for me to change the color of these tools from the default Black to something else?

Changing the override file via command line arguments

Is there a way to change name of the file Coherence uses to override coherence-config.xml via a command line argument? I'd like to specify different override filenames in different environments.

I get the message that:

I specified the following as the startup:
java -Dtangosol.coherence.override=/home/noah/tools/tangosol-config/tangosol-coherence-override-dev.xml -Dtangosol.coherence.log.level=5 -classpath /home/ncohen/tools/tangosol-config:/home/noah/tools/tangosol/lib/coherence.jar com.tangosol.net.CacheFactory
Where the tangosol-config directory contains my override file tangosol-coherence-override-dev.xml
If I change the name of the override file solely in the cmd prompt, it doesn't find any of them. It just gives me the optional configuration file ..... is not specified. How does one go about fixing this? Thx.
