Change to Actual Posted CCTR in Statistical Orders

Hi,
I want to allow changes to the field actual posted cost center for a statistical order.  This is for the case where postings have occured, however the field is currently greyed out.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Mick

Hi Mick
You can use Controlling Internal reposing like a JV in Controlling to reverse and pass a new entry.

  • How to create Actual Posted CCtr field mandatory in Interal Order

    Hi Experts,
Can anybody tell me how to make Actual Posted CCtr field mandatory in KO01 or while creating Internal Order ?
Experts help would be great on this.

Moderator: SImply define it as mandatory field in field status for the order type in question. Please, avoid asking basic questions

    Hi Tarang,
I think there is a transaction/screen variant maintained for that. Ask your ABAP team member to debug and check if there is any coding done to make it mandatory. There is no customizing for this one. There must be some code written to make it mandatory.
But you are correct, if you maintain the sort string in BOM, it gets copied on to the planned order, the reservation and the production order as well.

  • Posting date wise PM order actual cost

    Hi friends ,
I want a report where I can see the actual cost of PM orders , posting period wise :
Say an order's basic start date =  26.7.2011
material is reserved on the order on 29.7.2011 with planned cost Rs100 .
Now reservation is issued with MIGO with posting date  2.8.2010
Now I want a report where I can see this cost by posting period.
Say if I enter 1.7.2011 to 31.7.2011 then cost should be zero .
only cost should come when i will enter 8th month .
One more point should be there the report should not consider controlling area's currency .
Because our controlling area currency is USD and cost in our orders is in INR

  • "Changing Actual Posted C Ctr"!

    Hi Friends,
I want to change "Actual Posted C Ctr field in Change Internal Order : Master Data Screen, but this area in inactive and I can't any change on it...
How can I change the value in this area...
    Thank you...

    Hi Ozgur,
I assume you already have postings on the order (you can check via TA RKACSHOW). In this case the actual posted cost center cannot be changed. You could delete the postings, but I think it would be easier and also audit proof if you create a new order and then repost via KB11N etc.

  • Tax Code removed on changing the posting Date in Purchase Order

    Dear All,
This is with reference to the Purchase Order Document tax part, the document has been defined with the approval procedure and document series followed as annual series. The document series is linked to the period indicator as I am using the monthly series for the A/R & A/P Invoice.
Now some Purchase Order was generated in the last month i.e. 30 NOV 07 which has gone for approval. These document are approved in the current month (Dec 07) & user are trying to add the records it displays the message as "Date deviates from permissible range [Purchase Order - Posting Date]  [Message 173-11]" as the period indicator is changed to Dec 07 in document numbering.
The problem is when user changes the document date to Dec 07 for posting; system removes the tax codes, which is available in the document. Now as this is approved document user is not able to change or renter the tax codes.
In this situation what can be done as the same case will again happen for the next month.
Pls. provide the solution / work around for this problem.
    Regards,
    Yogesh Jadav

    hi yogesh,
    Cancel/Close the created purchase order.
First you should change docduedate in posting period upto december 2007/end of fiscal year,by following the below path.
    (Administration->sytem intialization-> general settings--> posting period tab)
    Create a new purchase order.
Send it for approval, authorizer can change date as required,
once the posting date changes, tax code get refreshed, authorizer
need to select tax code once again.
<b>Tax code normally get refreshed when you change posting date it's normal
    system behaviour.</b>
After authorizer does above changes,he can approve purchase order.
Once purchase order is approved, orginator can add it as purchase order in draft stauts.
<b>After approval we can not do any changes in purchase order.</b>
Hope my solution will solve the problem.
    Thanks,
    With regards,

  • PM Order Confirmation create actual posting in Cost Center, with CE type 43

    Dear Expert,
I would like to know the business flow of Plant Maintenance that impacts cost center reporting.
During PM order confirmation, it will create an actual posting in Cost Center from Cost Center Reporting (No FI posting), say CC Operation, with Cost Element type: 43, which is attached with the activity type of Labor Cost assigned the the PM module.
Example: Cost Center: CC Operation, Cost Element: 840001 (CE type: 43), Amount: USD 100- (negative sign)
    My Question:
How does this posting (currently is in controlling only) in cost center Operation with Cost Element type: 43 be reflected in my FI reporting?
Let say there is an FI posting of labor cost in CC Operation, amount USD 100, then from Cost Center Reporting, it actually offset both amounts, and this cost center become 0 in amount.
Kindly advise the concept of Plant Maintenance.
This seems like same with the concept of KB21N.
    Thanks.

    Hi Karthikeyan,
My issue and concern is similar to the issue raised as follows:
Secondary Cost Element Configuration for Plant Maintenance Order
    http://scn.sap.com/thread/3488730
In this forum, it says that the posting in CO, during PM order confirmation is ...
+10 for Order and -10 for cost center A
    After PM Order settlement:
-10 for Order and +10 for cost center A
From the cost center and PM Order CO report, they are 0 in value ...
    Is this the correct way?
    Thanks,
    -Chin

  • Change of "Revenue posting" after the creation of an order

    Hi all,
I would like to change the tick "Revenue posting" on the internal order level. There was a mistake in the setting while creating internal order type (I forgot to say "Revenue postings allowed" on the internal order type level). Since then many internal orders have been created and changing of this status on internal order type level does not help anymore for the created internal orders.
The SAP help says: You set the indicator in the order type. It is copied from the order type when you create new orders. Order that already exist are not changed when you set this indicator at a later date in the order type.
Do you have any experience with this? What did you do?
    Thank you for any advice.

    Hello Vaclav!
Please see SAP-note #332693 which should help resolve Your problem.

  • Posting of an asset to statistical order

    Hi,
I created two assets (one for AuC, the other for capitalized asset). Let's say the AuC asset uses account nr. 1000 for APC, the other one account nr. 2000 for APC. In master data I assigned to both the assets an internal order (on the Origin tab). Then I use transaction F-90 to post an invoice to the AuC asset and afterwards the transaction AIAB/AIBU to capitalize the AuC asset. But when I run a report to see what's posted on the internal order, there is nothing. What am I doing wrong? Both the accounts 1000 and 2000 are created as cost elements and the internal order is set as statistical order.
    Thanks for help.
    Zbynek

    hi
If Internal Order is set as Statistical Order then it will not allow for Settlement so remove the check box for statistical order then it will become real order and you can make settlement.
I have a doubt in your question.  In Origin tab where we can assign Internal order .  Upto my knowledge there is no field for assignment of internal order under Origin tab.
If you want any other clarification then let me know
    if useful assign points
    thanks

  • Segment derivation when posting invoice on internal order

    Dear colleagues,
I have configured the New General Ledger in SAP ECC 5.0, with profit center and segment as splitting characteristics. Document splitting and segment derivation are working fine for almost all scenarios, but not for all scenarios.
When a post a vendor invoice with FB60 to only a cost center document splitting and segment derivation are working correctly: the segment is derived from the profit center (which is assigned to the cost center in the master data of the cost center) and I can post the invoice.
However, when I post the vendor invoice to both a cost center and an internal order segment derivation does not work: I get the error message GLT2201 "The field Segment marked as balancing is not filled with any value in line item 001, even after document splitting."
The reason for this is that the posting on the cost center becomes statistical and the posting on the internal order is the actual posting. In the master data of the internal order I have not defined a profit center. Because of this the DUMMY profit center is assigned to the line item.
I have assigned all profit centers to a segment (in the profit center master data), except for the DUMMY profit center. I guess this is correct?? I can easily solve this issue by assigning the dummy profit center to some kind of dummy segment, but I don't think this is the correct solution.
A solution might be to enter a profit center in the master data of the internal order (segment can then be derived from this profit center). However, I prefer not to put a profit center in the master data of the internal order.
Does any of you have experience the same kind of problem? Can anybody give me some advice how to derive the segment correctly in the aboven mentioned posting? Did I do something wrong in the customizing?
Thanks for your help in advance!
    Regards,
    Koert

I have already found the solution myself. In the customizing you can define a default segment that will be used in case no segment can be derived in the posting.
IMG: Financial Accounting (New) --> General Ledger Accounting (New) --> Business Transactions --> Document Splitting --> Edit constants for nonassigned processes

  • Report Painter - How to identity statistical orders in a Cost Center Report

    Hello,
currently I am in the process of building a cost center report based on reporting tabel CCSS.
This report should list all primary and secondary costs which are charged to a specific cost center/cost center group .
The cost center or cost center group is given in the general data selection.
All direct primary cost postings are identified in rows like this:
    - Cost Element (SET): cost element group A1, A2,...Axx
    - Business Transaction Type: COIN
All primary cost postings deriving from (real) internal orders are identified like this:
    - Cost Element: 1 to 9999999999
    - Business Transaction: KOAO
    - Partner object number: 0 to 99999999
    Now here is the problem:
The controlling department requests to identify all primary cost postings  to the given cost center which have been postet to a statistical internal order at the same time.  The most part of the primary costs have been directly postet to the cost center in the Additioanal Account Assignments. But some have been posted to the cost center and at the same time to a statistical internal order.
Looking into BSEG I can quickly identify these line items as they have a value in BSEG-KOSTL and BSEG-AUFNR.
How can I select these items in a report painter report?
I would like to separate all items whith connection to statistical int. orders from those with no connection to internal ordes.
    Thanks for your help!

    Dear Elli,
    Dear SAP-Gurus,
once again, thank you for your quick reply.
You hints and remarks are very much appeciated.
My problem seems to be slightly more complicated than what I had expected.
All postings to the cost center/cost center group are actual postings. The cost center is the "real" cost element, there are no postings of value type 11 here.
Most postings have the cost center as the only cost element, but others additionally mention a statistical order.
My goal is to seperate those postings to the cost center [as (real) cost element] plus the statistical order from those with only the cost center.
I would also like to sort these postings by the order number.
I could easily write two reports:
One  for the cost center and another one only for the statistical orders. The latter would use value type parameter 11 (as you proposed!). Unfortunately, I do not know all order numbers tied to the cost center. As table BSEG is not suitable for SAP Query,  I  run into deep problems here.
I know I have problem in the design of my report here and  I would like to sort out, which options I have.
Is Report Painter a suitable tool for me here anyway?
    Thanks again!
    Karsten

  • Responsible CCtr & Requesting CCtr of Internal Order

    Hi All,
Could any one give some tips about Responsible CCtr & Requesting Co.Code for Internal Order?
1 What is the actual difference between Responsible CCtr & Requesting Co.Code?
2 Is it possible to check the amount posted to Internal Order by Responsible CCtr & Requesting Co.Code in the standard transaction? if so where to check that amount?
Thank you for your support in advance.

    Dear,
Responsible cost center is the one who is responsible for the acitvity. For e.g If company has decided to undetake repair and maintainance in production assembly then responsible cost center might be an Administration Cost Center who is responsible to manage resources to get the things done and Production Cost Center is Actual Posted to cost center. Responsible cost cetner is for reporting only.
Requesting Company Code is required when you have Cross Company code accounting is active and this is required in Asset under construction scenario. If you enter the Requesting cost cetner above it then company code code from that cost cetner is dervied.

  • Issue while updating(Changing) quantity on line at quick sales order form

    Hi,
I am facing a issue while changing quantity ordered on the order line in quick sales order form. (R12.1.3)
Although the same logic works exactly as required in 11.5.9.
There is a custom logic, post booking line status is Awaiting Shipping.
Now when quantity is changed +(Saved), the status changes to a custom state but at the same time a new row is created with the same line id but different reservation id in the MTL_RESERVATIONS.
The quantity here is the difference between the original quantity and the new entered quantity.
And post completion of the custom logic the original row is updated, but being there a additional row the quantity reserved at the shipping tab comes wrong.
Our requirement is of update which is happening but not the additional insert which is going into MTL_RESERVATIONS.
The logic is perfect in 11.5.9 and no additional insert is being made.
Kindly help and give some ideas for the possible reason the issue.
Please ask for more information if required.
    Thanks,

  • Setting in Statistical Order Type

Our organization uses PM orders to manage plant equipment.  Never use CO Internal Order until recently we want to explore the use of Statistical Internal Order to facilitate expense analysis.  Statistical orders for information only, no settlement and no budget control necessary.
There is no configuration in CO required for using statistical internal order except to create order type in KOT2_OPA.
Questions on the setting for the statistical order type:
    1.     What setting in the Order Type to make it identifiable as Statistical?  I want the setting that, when creating internal order, will force it as Statistical in the Control Data tab.
    2.     In the Control Indicators, should I set u201CCO Partner Udpateu201D to Semi-active or Active?
    3.     Since no budget control necessary, I should uncheck  everything including u201CCommit. Managementu201D in Control indicators?
    4.     Anything else I should be aware of in posting or reporting with statistical orders?

    Hi
    Q1 - Already anwered above
Q2 - You can choose any thing.. Does nt matter
Q3 - Yes, you should uncheck
Q4 - While making posting, you need to specify the Stat Int order specifically.... ELse, posting wont go into it... Best way is to assign the Actual posted Cost center in the Stat Int Order.... Once you do this, just specify the Stat Int Order during posting.... Posting would happen both in the Stat Int Order as well as the Cost Center

    How can i do that?

    HI,
you can plan on statistical IO from transaction kpf6, layout 1-402, but bare in mind that statistical orders are not plan integrated, meaning that the planned values on the order are not being transfered to the responsible CCtr, which ist actualy posted.
