Change to Navbar Template Results in Navbar Entries Not Being Generated

Hello all,
Running v3.2, created a theme based on Theme 13 and user asked to have the navbar entries appear a little bigger and bolded. The original navbar entry template for theme 13 is:
<a href="#LINK#" class="t13NavLink">#TEXT#</a>I changed it to:
<a href="#LINK#" class="t13NavLink"><style type="text/css">a.t13NavLink {font-size:11px;font-weight:bold;}</style>#TEXT#</a>This appears fine in the existing application, however, I made this theme into a Workspace Theme and tried to generate an application using it. For some reason, the navbar entry for "Logout" no longer gets generated automatically. I'm no expert in CSS so I'm not sure if what I did above is best, but does anyone know why the application wizard would actually not generate something because of what is in the template being used?
Thanks all!
John

There seems to be something going on with using Workspace Themes in general to create new applications. To try to eliminate my theme as a possibility,
1) I created an application using the built-in Theme 13. The Logout link on page 1 shows as expected.
2) I made Theme 13 into a Workspace Theme.
3) I created an application using the new Workspace Theme (which is just Theme 13 made into a Workspace Theme). The Logout link is not generated. Not for the initial page 1 or for any other pages I create in the application.
For now I'm just going to pretend the Workspace Theme feature doesn't exist. I'll create all new applications with Theme 13, import my custom theme, switch to it, and delete Theme 13 from the application.
If anyone would like to give the above a try (my version is 3.2.1.00.12), I'd be curious to hear if I'm the only one seeing this for some reason.
Thanks again,
John

    That probably won't fix it, unfortunately. It is probably a result of Spoofing -
    Email spoofing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
    Once the spoofing entity has grabbed your email address from that person, they have it - the other person can 'cleanse' their machine but it will do no good.
    You could go to the bother of changing your email account and address. It won't stop the activity and use of your old address, but it will stop the 'can't deliver it' messages.
    Or, just ignore it and keep throwing those messages away. They'll dwindle to very seldom in time.

  • Change pointers not being generated in case of Z fields (extension IDOC)

    Hello,
    My requirement is of generating change pointers when fields from customer master change ( z fields).
    Actually this is working for standard fields, but not for z fields .
    I have created a Z segment and added fields 'ADRC-STR_SUPPL3' & 'ADR3-FAX_NUMBER'  and have written appropriate code for populating them in 'ZXVSVU01' of exit 'EXIT_SAPLVV01_001' .
    However, when I try to run change pointers transaction BD21, it says 0 idocs and 0 communication params generated.I have added those fields properly in BD52 (object class - ADDRESSE).
    If you change standard fields along with Z fields, it works, but if you change only the Z fields , it doesn't trigger a change pointer.
    Is there something extra that we need to do in case of object class 'ADRESSE' ?
    Please help.

    I can log in to the CUCM admin page and make changes to phone devices. The changes made are reflected in both the PUB and both SUBs. Devices do not take changes however. Reset and restart commands from admin page on devices do not actually reset or restart devices. Physically resetting device by unplugging switch port on phone does not help reflect configuration changes. Verified TFTP settings are correct and reset the TFTP service on servers. Hi,
    This points to some database issue, the database replication may be broken. Please check through RTMT  and see if the database replication state is 2 for all the servers. You can try a 'utils dbreplication stop' on all servers followed by a 'utils dbreplication reset all' on the Publisher. Another quick fix would be a restart of the ccm service.

    Thanks JP. I figured last resort, Trash Prefs. I have never really had to do this for anything since OS9 but why not give it a shot?
    I am rendering yet another version, this time I got rid of all extraneous tracks (audio) and deleted all gaps, making the sequence only cuts AND once I sent it to Color I quit FCP. I was just reading in another thread about FCP getting in the way of the render process of Color. Anyways, worth a shot. After this render I will try a Export XML and Send To. If the Send To doesn't work I will try out your method of opening up that XML export file via the "Open With" method.
    Thanks for your helpful suggestion.

  • How to change the character set encoding not being a superset one

    HI, i have a fresh installed database, but i realize the character set support in my client is not good enough, since its a not production database i want to change the character set encoding to anothor one not being a superset of the old one.
    I have tried the "ALTER DATABASE CHARACTER SET WE8MSWIN1252" but it fails claiming i need a superset one.
    I guess its just a single steps to do it, i have all the privileges, just not the time to reinstall and setup everything.

    Do you know what that does to the existing data, though? My hunch would be that any characters which have a different binary representation in the source & target character sets would be corrupted.

  • Navigation to ITS navbar entry

    Dear Experts,
    Using transaction launcher, we have configured an entry at navigation bar that allow us to consult an Sales Order in CRMD_ORDER transaction (using ITS and passing the currentOneOrder Guid).
    My question is: It is possible to navigate directly to this navbar entry  whenever the user clicks on a Sales Order at inbox, instead of navigating to standard Sales Order BSP view?
    I'm aware that there are BADI's that allow us to manipulate the navigational link (CRM_IC_NAVI_BADI or CRM_ICWC_SERVICE_NAV), but I don't know how to indicate a navigation to an ITS entry.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks and regards,
    Bruno Garcia

    Hi Bruno,
    The NavbarView.htm contains all the links (they are build up dynamically). the controller CL_CRM_IC_NAVBARVIEW contains 3 methods to navigate to all different possibilities: URLs; Links and Classes.
    NAVIGATE_VIA_CLASS
    NAVIGATE_VIA_LINK
    NAVIGATE_VIA_LTX_ID
    What you can do is put an external breakpoint in method NAVIGATE_BY_ENTRY_ID en see in what method above the standard goes when you click on the ITS entry on the navigation bar.
    Then what you will have to do is copy the coding that it executes and probably create a new navigational link with as source view the AUIItems.htm (results from Agent Inbox) and navigating with the same target view as what the standard does.
    Hope this helps.
    Kind regards,
    Micha

  • Change of personnel subarea results in change of legal person

    Hi Experts.
    I have search in this forum after answer on this question, but haven't find any.
    To start with, we have implemented CE.
    My problem is that if we have hired a person on wrong date and want to change the date to an earlier date, infotype 0000 is OK, but infotype 0001 will not be changed.
    The error message says: Change of personnel subarea results in change of legal person.
    I have checked the table V_001P_G and it seems to be right. I can't find any fault.
    I have tried all other suggestions I have found in this forum such as, Change and Execute info group when running Change entry/leaving date in PA30. Executing the programs RPUFIXDS and RPUP0001 with negative result.
    So if there is anyone who can explain to me what this error message actually means, and of course have a solution, I would be really happy.
    Thanks   //   Peter B

    Hi Peter,

  • Community Template; Save as Template Results in Several Errors

    I customized a Community Site.  I saved that site as a template.  I used that template to create another site.  Resulting errors\things I don't like.
    1) When I click on Categories, the Featured Dicussion app and the Discussion app show correlation ID errors.
    I deleted the Dicsussion app, re-added it, hoocked it up to the Categories webpart and that seemed to fix the error
    I deleted the Featured Discussion app and re-added it.  Seamed to work however if there isn't a Featured Discussion the app isn't hidden like in the Community Template.  It just says there are no items in the Disucssion
    2) When I go to the Discussion List itsleft the Management View is gone.  I got around this by recreating it.
    3) When I went to a dicussion thread I had to change the view to Flat and make it the default.
    All that being said, why can't I create a template from a Community Site without getting all these issues?  Has anyone figured out a way to do this?

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you saved Community Site as Template results in several errors.
    I tried to reproduce the issues, the site which created by the saved Template did has many problems.
    This is a known issue in SharePoint Sever 2013. To work around this issue, create sites from a standard SharePoint template when you plan to use community categories. Everything will functions correctly on a site that wasn't created from a site saved as
    a template.
    Please refer to the official article related, although it is about the SharePoint online, it still works for SharePoint 2013.

  • Change UPK publishing template

  • Where to change notification email template?

    Do you know where to change the default template for the system-generated notification e-mails sent to users when they have a new instance in their worklist?

    Putting it in the right place is the key.
    I was on the wrong track following conf/* even though I found that file there to modify as noted by ruben and Oracle's response to my trouble ticket to them.
    Ariel's response on the associated forum linked by Dan was the correct answer.
    Getting the engine home dir from the Process Admin console and then just put the file there did it.
    Did not have to bounce the engine or WL even though I thought I had to when it did not work when done in conf/*. Did not have to do the -D.
    For those interested, Oracle's detail response on the file itself is an interesting read. Ignore the conf/* reference.
    "To customize it you have to edit the activityNotification.mail file located in
    the conf directory in the ALBPM installation directory (i.e. ~studio/conf or ~enterprise/conf).
    Copy this file to the Server Home directory. If it is not copied the customization does not take effect and the default mail is sent.
    You can define a dynamic mail content editing this XML file. The ALBPM Server
    generates the e-mail notificactions (when enabled) for each process activity using this file.
    The text to be sent in the e-mail can be defined:
    • by process-activity, or
    • by process, or
    • a default mail.
    The search to find the text is by tag.
    First, it looks for the process tag. If found, it searches for the activity tag.
    If the activity tag is not found, it searches for the default tag within the
    process tag.
    If the process tag is not found then it searches for the default mail tag.
    The XML is structured to conform to the following tags:
    • process id: The id of the process that owns the activity for which you
    define the custom email notifications.
    • activity id: The id of the activity for which a custom mail needs to be
    sent.
    • title : In between this tag, provide the title for the email sent in the
    specified activity.
    • message : In between this tag, enter the message to be sent in the selected
    business process activity.
    <mail>
    <process id='processId'>
    <activity id= 'activityId>
    <title>
    The Instance :INSTANCE_ID/ has reached :ACTIVITY/ ...
    </title>
    <message>
    The Instance is :INSTANCE_LINK"here"/
    </message>
    </activity>
    <activity id='activityId2'>
    < /activity>
    <Default>
    <title>
    The Instance :INSTANCE_ID/ has reached :ACTIVITY/ ...
    </title>
    <message>
    Link :INSTANCE_LINK/
    </message>
    </Default>
    </process>
    <process id='processId2'>
    <process>
    </mail>
    When a message contains a place holder like:
    • :INSTANCELINK/ (a link to the instance), or
    • :INSTANCELINK"LINKNAME"/ (a link to the instance with the name of LinkName),
    or
    • :ACTIVITY/ (name of the activity that has been reached), or
    • :VAR/ (where VAR is the id for a process instance variable or the id of an external variable);
    these place holders are replaced at runtime by the proper value accordingly to the defined mappings at development time.
    If within the message tag you set headers="true"
    <message html="true" headers="true">
    therefore, in the mail subject you will receive the "ActivityName",
    "InstanceId" and "ProcessName".
    Note: If for some reason the xml file does not exist, a non modifiable mail is sent and an exception is logged.
    The activityNotification.mail file, needs to be overwriten in the runtime environment.
    The customization of the activityNotification.mail is per installation, not per process or per application.
    There is no know way to customize the activityNotification.mail per application
    If you take a look at the content of this file, you will see entries of this format:
    <process id="/OU/ProcessName">
    This allows creating specific email templates PER PROCESS. This to some extent allows the customization for Application (set of processes).
    You can have multiple of "<process id=...> tags in the file."

  • Implementing change to Task Templates for known servers

    We found that some of our Task Templates are pointing to old server names no longer available and have updated the Task Templates, but when the task executes, the task instance still shows the old server names. We have restarted the application server instance also with same results. Is there something else that needs to occur for the xchanges to actually tak eplace in IDM> Thanks.

    Sorry, possibly I am making incorrect assumptions. I am assuming that "knownServers" is the list of preferred servers to run the task in, and that the task defaults to the main server if those are not found but maybe I am wrong. We are trying to have a specific report run under a specific container.
    Say we have 5 containers defined as servers. When the Task Templates were originally created, the "knownServers" element listed, for example, "Andy", "Barney", Charlie", "David", and "Evan".
    Since then, the names have changed to, for example "Paula", "Rose", "Sally, "Teresa", and "Wanda". We never changed the Task Templates, so at this point the Task Templates STILL show the names "Andy" -" Evan" under "known Servers".
    So, we changed the Task Template "known Servers" to ,for example, only "Paula". But, when the Task Begins (in this case a report), and you view the Task Instance, it still shows known servers of "Andy" -" Evan".
    My questions are:
    1. Is my assumption about "knownServers" incorrect?
    2. Is there something else required to have the Task Instances pick up the new "knownServers" attribute?
    3. Can anything else that can be done to have Task Instance runs specifically in a named server (container)?
    Thanks for any help.

  • Change the Appraisal Template in Mid of Year.

    Hi All,
    We want to edit the appraisal template which is being used in Production.
    System is allowing to edit the template in development as there are no documents created. Once we transport the change to production what will be the implication.
    Q1. Is it recommended to change the template after it is being used.
    Q2. If really need to edit the template in mid of appraisal process how do we go forward.
    Thanking you in advance.

    Edited by: Nalin Jain on Aug 5, 2009 7:41 AM

    Hi Suresh,
    We are on ECC 6.0 and SP 43.
    We need to put some extra fields / Notes to the targets and extra sub statuses to correctly identify the condition.
    But already appraisal process started and documents are created. Now we cannot either create the same documents in new template or postpone the appraisal template change to next year.
    In this situation we decided to change the existing template. We want to know what will be the implications if we change the template in development and transport it to production???
    Download and upload will create a new template which will not be useful for our case.
    Thanking you in advance.
    regards,
    Kamal.
