Changes in resource name in Monitor Matrix for SQL Database @ Azure portal

hi
Exact 4 months after starting of new SQL database tier, Resource Matrix changed.
old names :
CPU percentage
Log Write percentage
Physical Data Read percentage
new names are:
CPU
LogIO
DataIO
My question is they are equal :
CPU percentage = CPU (looks OK)
Log Write percentage = LogIO (Log Writes means IN but IO means both (in and out))
Physical Data Read percentage = DataIO (Read means OUT but IO means both (in and out))
If they are different then what is change ?

sys.resource_stats catalog view to monitor the resource usage of your Azure SQL Database and compare current resource utilization to different performance levels . The CPU Percentage, Physical Data Reads percentage, Log Writes Percentage show the average
utilization percentage relative to the DTU of your database. For more information, see:

And now, we upgrade the monitor metrics name for CPU and IO activity of SQL Azure database. If you add the metrics of Data IO or Log IO individually in Monitor Page, it will show the same name with Physical Data Reads percentage and Log Writes Percentage,
you can refer to the following screenshot.
After I adding the Data IO, it will show as Physical Data Reads percentage in Monitor Page.

Hi Gurus,
We are implementing SRM for LATAM countries. The portuguese & spanish language here are different than those in Portugal & Spain.
The translations that are coming for these countries are different than what SAP as a standard is offering.
In view of this, to list some of the issues as below -->
The word u201CSolicitaru201D (which means Order in English) they want to replace it as u201CEnviaru201D, this is more usual in the LATAM spanish language to send for approval.
The other one is u201CTartaru201D (which means Edit in english) they want it to replace with word is u201CEditaru201D.
Can we change these label names without affecting the Portugal & Spain translations which the user there are already fine with.

You can do it in the component configuration;
-Goto se80 to the component FPM_OIF_COMPONENT and configuration /SAPSRM/WDCC_FPM_OIF_SC_PROFNL (or what you want, you can see it in technical settings in the portal)
- Choose "Start Configurator" and change
- Choose your button and change the label in the field "Identif"

Search by folder name? Monitor folders for changes?

Im a long time PC user that LOVED how Picasa automatically indexed any locations that I told it to keep track of. I just got Aperture - but so far I am utterly disappointed in the search function.
When I used to import all of my photos the folder that each import would go under would be the events title.
For instance if I shot a wedding I would name the folder "John Smith" because in picasa I could just search for "Smith" and it would have all of the files in that folder as results - regardless of their metadata.
So here I am with a 2 week old Macbook that I love - but I cant find any of the photos that I want to find.
My library has roughly 40K images - so without the ability to search by folder names it takes me forever to find the files I am looking for.
*Surely I am an idiot and just dont know how to search by folder name - can someone enlighten me?*
Also - is it possible for Aperture to monitor certain folders for changes - for instance if I save something to my library folder from photoshop - do I then have to import that one file I just saved? Picasa would just display it under the folder its in - is there any programs for Macs that behave like this?

aperture can indeed search on the project title. a little harder to find in the filter dialog, but it is there.
but again, you'll have to import your data differently than i think you did the first time.
i'm sorry that you're not happy with Aperture doing what you want, but then again, you're upset because it doesn't work with you're old folder structure. Not every application can be expected to be designed for every possible methodology that someone used to manage their existing data. It was set up to be used more visually than your old method and if you can't take the time to organize your photos when you import them to Aperture, then you're right, it probably isn't for you.
i would suggest you watch the tutorial on searching to see all of the additional metadata you can search by, maybe it would help in some way.... but if not, good luck with LR

Changing MP3 Track Names in iTunes 11 for Exporting to CD

I'm trying to export my playlists from iTunes 11 to an MP3 CD/SD Card to play in my car. When I export the songs/play lists the, iTunes names the file names as the track number and song name (i.e. "01 song name.mp3", "02 another song name.mp3"); which makes it difficult to search for a song while driving.
Ideally, I would like to export the MP3 files as <Artist Name> - <Album Name> - <Song Name>, but will compromise if there are limitations
I tried downloading another software but then it changed all the album names around when it imported the album names and still exported the same way previously, which I'm trying to avoid doing again.
Is there a way to do a mass change retroactively using iTunes for my entire library? I've been seeing posts about changing the default naming structure when importing a new files to the iTunes library, but not in this situation.

Using iTunes v.11

Make a new folder on your computer which will represent the CD you want to create. Drag the tracks from iTunes to that folder. This will put copies of the files in the folder. Now I haven't needed to do this but what I say should work, though I have to add I have always manually managed my music so in some of hte places where iTunes will fight you I have no problems.. Make a new iTunes playlist which is a scratchpad for working on these files. Select the files and hold down the option key while dragging those files back to iTunes (alternatively, create a new iTunes library just for working on your mp3 CDs by holding down the option key while starting iTunes). Option dragging will have iTunes use the file in its original location and not put it in your media folder. Next look on the Dougscripts website for a script which lets you rename files (probably File Renamer). Use that to rename your selected files as desired. You can use Finder's burn utility to burn this folder to a data CD since that's all a mp3 CD is anyway. However, realize that your car player is likely to simply play everything by file name unless it is a sophisticated player that can read metadata tags (which is sounds like it isn't), but at least the file names will include more complete information.

How to change Makefile file name in sun studio for linux 11?

For historical reasons, our makefiles are called Make.bld
Sun Studio refuses to accept these as makefiles.
It'd be a big pain to modify our entire build system to take makefile as the name.
Is there a way to instruct sun studio to accept a different filename for makefiles ?

There is no supported way of getting the Sun Studio IDE (or NetBeans) to recognize
Make.bld as a Makefile. However, the solution Nik pointed out with a .nbattrs file will
work.
Here is a complete file which, if copied to each directory containing a Make.bld file
will work. However, if the directory already contains a .nbattrs file you should edit
the existing one and add the <fileobject>...</fileobject> lines rather than overwriting
the entire file.

Can I change the File Names the Iphone generates for my photos so I don't have to go and "rename" each photo?

When I take a photo the phone stores it with a self generated file name, however since I have multiple Iphones taking photos, I would like to change the method of this generated filing system.
As an example, photos being taken with Iphone #1 would have Phone1Image1... or some smaller if necessary and then phone 2 would be Phone2Image1...
Then when I go into the cloud I could sort them according to source rather than a random date selection or some other way of filing.

Just have each song as a separate playlist.
You can use the SpotLight search on the iPod to find songs as well as other things.
You can also change what the search shows to only include music. Go to Settings>General>Spotlight search

ThanksGrid control or database control will do this for you, there is a rather big however, er however. Being notified is a part of the diagnostics pack functionality (ludicrously and unjustifiably IMO). That means a license cost (unless you are already licensed for it). nagios does this as others have said as do shell scripts. I'm not aware of an open source tool that does all you want without scripting though.

SQ01 - Name of Manager field for logical database PNPCE

I am stumped and need your help.
I have defined an infoset ZZ_HR_DATA with logical database. In the Infotype 0001, under additional selections, I have the field "Name of superior (organizational assignment)" and it's technical name is SYHR_A_P0001_AF_MANAGERN. I am OK so far.
When I define a query against this info type, it is not showing as a field to select. What went wrong?
The query shows another similar field SYHR_A_P0001_AF_MANAGERN and Quickviewer is displaying this as well.

No size history for SQL Database in dbacockpit for new system

Hello,
we have installed a new ERP 6.0 System on Windows with SQL Server 2005 (3 month ago)
Now we haven´t any data in datbase size historie in the dbacockpit.
The message is: No size history. Check the DB Collector status.
We checked already the state of Collector. It is running every 20 minutes and collect data for performance. But not for the growth of the database.
We also deleted the job at the SQL Agent and planned it new with the report MSSPROCS.
Does anyone have an idea whats the problem?

we are facing the same problem until now.
I checked all the points you suggested:
- the performance collector job runs in client 000
- time zone is set to CET
- the SAPOSCOL is running
- no errors by executing the SQL statement EXECUTE sap_dbcoll
- no errors in SQL Job SAP_sid_SID_MSSQL_COLLECTOR
We don't have any data in size history.
But we found a error message in dev_w0:
C dbdsmss: DBSL26 SQL3621C Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK__#perfinfo_________0C5BC11B'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.#perfinfo'.The statement has been terminated
It occurs, when we try get the data of history in db02 (or dbacockpit).
The note 1171828 doen't fit.
We have already SAP_BASIS 701 0007
We've got a system with SAP_BASIS 702 0006
There the error is displayed in dbacockpit directly:

Hardware requirements for SQL database used with TestStand

We are wanting to set up a SQL server to store the data from TestStand.
How do we determine the hardware requirements for this server? It will be used with 10-30 machines running tests and logging data and another 5-10 machines running queries to pull the data back out for analysis. The result data size will range from 50-25,000 results per run (run times are 1 minute for 50 result tests and 5 hours for the 25,000 result tests).

database design and hardware requirements are never easy. There are a lot of scientific papers on work load tests and requirement assumptions. I can not give a short answer which machine to use. Just some ideas and starting points.
The most important parts of a database system with large data sets are network bandwidth, RAM and storage bandwidth. With smaller data sets and more complex transactions the CPU becomes more important.
In this TS case the data sets are usually rather small. If the queries are not too complex, the requirements seems to be not too high.
Database performance is usually measured in transactions per minute (tpm). Special database servers can perform several thousands tpm and have costs starting at about 15 $ per tpm. See MS' ad page for a g

To be more specific.
I'd choose a modern Intel-based system like P4-3MHz (that have virtual multiprocessors) with at least 512 MB RAM and a RAID5 hard disk storage system (not nercessarily SCSII) with at least 3 single HDs. Use a 100 MB LAN connection at least, best with a switch. Don't forget backup!
Check also the pages of your preferred database provider.
I am on a starting point here too. We have chosen mySQL, which runs (at least now) on the very same machine where TS & LV are running. We plan to test this setup with increasing burden to get a practical assumption of the HW requirements. The planned final setup will have up to 5 test stations and 5 query stations. We'll run about 50 rather complex tests of about 4 hours each that operate in parallel on the test stations.
