Changing Purchase Order through ME22N

Hi,
We are experiencing a problem with the following cenario:
The PO was created in environment with a purchase requisition,a agreement and it was already some subsequent documents then this PO was migrated to another environment but only the PO. I mean the Purchase Requisition, the agreement and also the subsequent documents were not migrated to the new environment.
We need to change the quantity of this PO but when we try to save the new quantity it says that the agreement do not exist. And when we try to remove the agreement and the purchase requisition the system do not allows, the fields are closed to edit.
Is there a way to remove this relation between the PO and the Purchase Requisition and the agreement to edit the quantity of the PO item?

Now I have another doubt, if we have the purchase requistion and the agreement removed from the EKPO table, would we be able to modify the PO item quantity? Even if we already had a partial goods receipt?

  • Change Purchase Order type ,price before auto creation of PO through MIGO?

    I have reuirement  infront of me.
    We are creating return Purchase order through MIGO for Non-ordered items.
    Purchase Order is created automatically by SAP.
    I need to change its Purchase Order type  , Net Price , Order Price Unit .
    Is it possible to modify the content before the creation of this PO.
    Please help me .

    We are not using BPA ; is there any solution involving ASL and/or Sourcing Rule which can be used to meet the User requirement.There certainly is. It involves using either Blanket Purchase Aggreement (which you don't have) or using Quotes.
    Once you have created either of those, simply create an ASL entry for the item(s), attach the Quote or BPA to the ASL entry; create a sourcing rule.
    Once these setups are done, when a requisition is created and approved, it will get converted into a PO automatically.
    And depending upon the value you enter in the "Release method" field on the ASL screen (and your PO workflow attributes), the PO will be created in incomplete status or it can be automatically submitted for approval.

    Try the proudure as given below.
    Sending Purchase Order via e-mail
    Process for Sending
    a.     Maintain email-id in vendor master (Transaction XK01/XK02) and standard communication method should be selected as INT E-Mail.
    b.     Maintain the message details while create / change Purchase Order as follows.
           (Transaction ME21N/ME22N)
    Click on Communication method.
    Note: Remove tick from “Release after output” 
             If hard copy is not required remove the tick from “Print Immediately”
    Click on “Further Data”.
    Dispatch time should be “send immediately (when saving the appl”
    Save the purchase order.
    c. Release the Purchase Order through ME28, if release strategy is activated.
    Note: PO Mailing Program is scheduled every day night; it sends the purchase order to the vendor and to
               the person who has created the PO. 
    d. If the person who is creating the PO wants a copy of the PO sent to the vendor then his mail id
        need to be maintained in the SAP User Id. Please send your SAP User Id and mail id to -
        BASIS.

                You might created this PO with the reference of the sales order so the system is telling that the quantity update will not happen for sales order at PO level you need to Update the quantity at Sales order level.

  • Inbound Idoc Create/Change Purchase Order

    Hi All,
    I have to do a inbound Idoc scenario for create as well as change Purchase Order.
    Which is the IDoc type for Create/Change purchase order.
    I went through this form found that ORDERS05 can be used but I am not sure this can be used for both create as well change Purchase Order.
    If ORDERS05 can be used then which is Process code,Function Module and Message type for both create and change Purchase order.
    I also found that IDoc type PORDCR102 can be used for  create Purchase order and PORDCH02 can be used for change Purchase order,but i don't want to use two Idoc types.
    Please suggest.

    Hi John,
    For creating a IDoc for PO, whenever a PO is created/Changed, it has to be configured in Parter Profile(WE20) for a particular Partner in Outbound Paramtrs tab.
    Give ORDERS05 in Message Type and select the line & go to Display.
    In the screen which appears , choose tab Message Control and give the Process code
    ME10 - Creation of PO
    ME11 - Changes to PO & check the Change Message.
    Give respective Output Message Type & Application(VF) for PO.
    Create Output types for a vendor in T.Code MN04, else take help from MM Consultant.
    Create a PO & save. Then make some changes in Po & again save.
    Now IDoc will be created while saving the Po & IDocs will be created whenver you make changes to PO and saving it.

    Dear Consultants,
    system is not creating automatic  purchase order. in me59n i am getting the following error
    Requisition could not be converted
    i have done the following setting for automatic creation of purchase order
    1. in materil master record i have checked auto po.
    2. in vendor master record i have checked automatic purchase order
    3. i have created purchase info record with the combination of material vendor purchase organization.
    4. in source list i have fixed the vendor in me01
    5. in source determination under define regular vendor i have checked the box against the required plant.
    kindly let me know what all other configurations are required for creating automatic purchase order through purchase requisition

    Is this purchase requisition created during MRP run??
    If yes then have you marked the sourcelist record for this vendor as MRP relevant??
    If the purchase requisition is generated manually then whether the source of supply was assigned in the PR??
    In ME59N, the PR would be converted to PO if the PR has the assigned source of supply.

    Hello Manoj,
    you can define Customer Fields (CUF) at header, item, accounting level on any document type (including PO).
    Adding seach fields acts as old ABAP method of table append, i.e. those fields are stored in standard SRM tables. So you can process your own logic and checks against those fields.
    There is a BADI to control the display or not, the input or not, the default or input values.
    There is a BADI to control the ergonomy of CUF (by default they are added one after the other after standard fields).
    There have been many posts about CUF and linked OSS notes explaining own it works and which includes to use.

    You no need to add the changes, It can be shown in Environment menu. If u want to see the person who changed the PO in ur Print, ABAP work will be required..
    By the way what is the business requirement for this. B'cas PO is meant for vendor, Why do u want to print, whoever did the changes..This thing you can see from SAP itself at anytime.

  • No Authorization to change Purchase Order for Professional Purchaser

    Hi Experts, I am facing the following issue,
    System Info :
    SRM 5.0
    ECC 6.0
    IE 6.0
    I logged in as the professional Purchaser in to My SAP SRM browser and when I try to change a Direct material purchase order, I get the following message:
    No Authorization to change Purchase Order xxxxxxxxxxx.
    Here is my sequence of operations:
    Logged in as Proff Purchaser, selected the process purchase order link, then selected the purchase order from  the worklist and click on the change icon.
    Please let me know if need to customize any settings.

    Does anybody know a BAPI or FM to change Purchase Order item details. I looked for  a BAPI but only found for creating and listing.

    I think this is becuase the BAPI for PO change has not been "released". If you use transaction BAPI, then click the filter button, then select "All", the PO change bapi will appear int he MM-> purchasing-> purchase order hierarchy. (BAPI_PO_CHANGE)
    Although it is not officially "released", neither is the function module to do the same task. We use the BAPI on a regular basis, and it works fine. I think unreleased just means you will get no support if you use it, and SAP can change it at any time.
    I am not sure what makes a BAPI go from un-released to released...
