Changing totals value in hierarchical alv for a particular level/row

Hi,
I am displaying a hierarchical ALV having 4 levels.
Using field catalog, totals for all dynamic columns are found out.
I have a requirement not to display totals value for first and second levels.
And if possible, to display another value.
Tried using CL_GUI_ALV_TREE->change_node.
But it not updating.
Please suggest a solution.

I wonder why the second select Query is needed at all instead you can use
---> Not Needed
FORM DATA_RETRIEVAL1.
SELECT * FROM zcontact INTO TABLE it_zcontact WHERE id EQ wa_zcontact-id.

----> Instead you can do
READ TABLE it_zcontact INTO wa_zcontact INDEX p_seltab-tabindex.
Append wa_zcontact to Second_table.
And you can use the Second_table to display the second ALV. The second Select Query will affect the performance too.

Condition value from previous PO changes total value of new PO

Dear gentlemen,
We have a surcharge condition, calculation type = B (Fixed amount), category = Delivery costs. When viewing header condition details in PO, there appears an unknown "condition base value" with no "rate unit" associated with it. This value is carried over to the next PO created, changing its total value, thus affecting inventory value. What is wrong with this condition? How can I not let the system carry over "condition value" from previous POs?

Why I am doing this is that I want to calculate an Printerindex. This is the Amount of Errors related to the volume of pages, printed.
The Formula in DAX is Measure:=(COUNT(FactErrors[ErrorId]))/(SUM(FactErrors[PagesCount])/10000)

You see, that if I can't SUM already summarized printed volume. Another way could be to aggregate the volume as MAX() but this is not working, either.

WIP QTY. AND VALUE IN SINGLE REPORT FOR A PARTICULAR PERIOD

Is there any report for a particular period that we can get the WIP qty. and value in single report. If there what the fileds we have to select.
Ex. We want what is the consumption qty. and value and what is the GR qty. and value for the period ending June 08.

In my VC table value display is showing like .00. Before decimal point values are not coming. I have put disply as 2 decimal. It is hapanning for a particular user. Other users are getting right value. Even we logged on different machine also. please suggest me.

Is there a way to change the ring tone to none for one particular contact?

I see there is an option to turn the text message settings for a particular contact to 'none'. Is there a way to change the ring tone to 'none' or 'silent' for only one contact. This is a person who calls way too often and I used to turn their ringer to 'none' when I had a blackberry. This way I can talk to this person when it is convenient for me and not have to listen to the ringer everytime they call.

I have a requirement wherein i have to display some fields for sub total based on the sorting field.
I my report, i have G/L Account, GR value, IR value, Amt in Doc Curr and Doc currency.
Initially, i have to do the subtotal based on G/L account. For e.g. If we have two G/L account 1 and 2, then after the G/L account 1 and G/L account 2, i have to display the subtotals for GR value and IR value. This part is aboslutely working fine.
Now, In one G/L account, we are having multiple currencies. Suppose G/L account 1 has USD and EUR. Now within the G/L account 1, i have to display the subtotal for Amt in Doc Curr based on the currency key, but when i am passing this field to slis_sortinfo_alv, it is calculating the subtotals for GR value, IR value, Amt in Doc Curr.
Here, i need to hide the subtotal values for GR value, IR value.
Any pointers to this will be highly appreciated.

Change InfoObject value in flat file for Hierarchy load

Hi Guys,
I am loading hierarchy for an infoobject from flat file. I have the field InfoObject (IOBJNM) whose value needs to be changed before loading into the hierarchy. Can somebody tell me how can I do that through formula or routine.
The InfoObject loads 0HIER_NODE and a leaf infoobject values from flat file.
The hierarchy transfer rules does not contain IOBJNM field., though the Hier Structure under Transfer Structure tab contains IOBJNM.
In transfer structure I see only NodeName, Date From, Date To, and eaf infoobject.
Any help would be appreciated.

Try using the IDOC method while loading the hierarchy and make sure you have this IOBJNM in the external charactersitics for the Infoobect to which you are loading this hier.

Problem displaying drill down STANDARD ALV for a particular record after pressing back button

I have a simple interactive ALV grid report. NOT 'OO'. It display correctly on initial execution. AT the moment, 6 records. I want it to work such that if i click record '1', a drill-down version of that ALV with only that one record clicked is displayed. This currently occurs correctly. The problem arises when i click the back button and want to click on a new record, say in the 2nd row..this new 2nd row record is not displayed. The first one is displayed again. I tried clearing and fiddling around but then the last record is displayed. I have used the 'ID' field as a 'hotspot' getting picked up by sy-tabindex. Maybe it could be that i shouldn't loop and use a work area e.g in my select statement. i'm not so sure i've looked around, and tried a few things. I can't get it right yet. My code is below:

Change in Screen Layout of PO for a particular Item category

Hi,
We are facing a typical issue after Upgrade of our system from 4.6C to ECC 6.0.
Whenever we try to create a PO (in the newly upgraded system) with the Item category S (Third Party PO), the material number field goes blank and it becomes Non-Editable (even before saving the PO)...
However, on saving, EKPO table has the entries for the material number specified before entering the Item Category S. If we try to display the PO, it shows blank in the MATNR field.
This works fine with other item categories......we see this problem only with the item category S.
All the configurations (Screen Layout for Document Type, External Representation of Item category) are fine....but still we are facing this problem....
Any suggestions on this?

Hi Ninad,
I think I have mentioned it very clearly that it works for other item categories assigned to the same document type. It is a very basic setting that one has to check for issues related to PO screen layouts and I have done all those checks.
As stated earlier, this issue has come up after Upgrade, so just want to know if there is any known SAP Note or solution to this problem (if someone has faced it earlier).

Sub Total Text in an ALV using FACTORY Method

My requirement is simple, but I couldn't find any answers under SDN or any other forums. Some of you may ask me to check for the SCN posts, but I almost checked everything.
My requirement is - When I get the Sub-total in my ALV, it should print a text other than the field which has got sub-total value.
My ALV Schema:

I have sorted and added the subtotal = 'X' for the field which I need the Subtotal. Added Aggregations to Field3. But where and how to the field 'Tot. Qty', so that it should appear at the Sub-Total Level.
Please guide me if I've missed any of the forums. Again my requirement is to print the Field Name.

You can view this thread for example Display constant text in intermediate results column of SALV as it says that this is a limitation in SALV that "The output of totals and subtotals is handled solely by ALV. You can neither pass the results to your application nor manipulate them in any way.". But you can see a work around done for this problem, to be frank that I have not done that and I am only providing this link for your reference.

How to change sub total value in ALV Grid.

Hi All,
Can u please explain how to change SUBTOTAL Value in ALV Grid display based on another field value.
EX; F1 subtotal is initial then we have to modify the F2 sub total to 9999.9.

I doubt if that can be changed....because the event that i was referring to in my previous post works with ALV List display...But in any case you can try that.....
There is an event in SLIS....(As i told you, i dont remember the name and currently i dont have access to SAP system, so i am not able to verify and let you know that event name).....
Other thatn TOP and END of PAGE events, there is an event for sub-total text......i think it would start with "SUBTOTAL"...
you need to use that event in your events table and pass it to ALV Grid display.
Then create a sub-routine with that name (As you do for TOP-OF-PAGE event)....and in this event you can change the values in runtime (PROVIDED, this event gets triggered for ALV GRID).....
If this does not work, i think calculating sub-totals while you build the internal table would be a better option....(If you have time constraint....else you can do some more research on the same)........

Dump when changing the value for a field (of 13 decimals) in alv grid.

Hi Group,
Its giving a dump when user is trying to change the value.
dump description: Unable to interpret "70,000 " as a number.
what is happening here is, the original value is 50,000 and he is deleting 5 and replacing it with 7, here its throwing the dump.
If he removes the complete number 50,000 and then gives 70000 its taking the value.
I tried to use, the decimals options in alv field catalog but to no joy.
Please can you give me an advice on this.

the problem is the comma in the 70,000....that's an alpha character.... Normally, we expect SAP to display numeric fields in a appropriate format, based upon their numeric type, but trying to forcibly insert '70,000' into a true numeric-type field can generate an 'unable to interpret xxx,xxxx as number' error.
You could experiment with changing your ALV column to a char17 (or appropriate width) and putting your numeric value into that to display, then converting back to type P, or other field type in the table, in a column that is not displayed, when the user changes the value.... essentially two columns, one not displayed with a routine to copy/convert the numeric field into the alpha field and the reverse when the field is changed.
But, the better solution is probably for the user to understand that they're seeing a formatted numeric field, and that they need to replace the entire value with the only possible punctuation being a decimal and (if necessary) a negative sign.
