Changing tweens/ animation in new scene

I am trying to create different scenes with the same character doing different things in different scenes.
I have created and animated a character in scene one.
I saved the character to the library and pulled it into scene 2 to do a different animation with it.
Unfortunately, when I delete the tweens of the character in scene 2 they also disappear in scene one.
Can anyone help how I can use the same character in different scenes and create different tweens/ animation with it? Thank you

It sounds like you are either not creating the tweens properly or you are creating the tweens within the character symbol rather than on the timeline.
A timeline tween requires having the same symbol at the start and end of the tween. If you are seeing Tweens getting created in the library as you create the animation you are not creating the tween properly.
If the tweens are within the chareacter symbol, then removing them from that symbol removes them from every instance of that symbol.

You can change the scene by calling stage.setScene(new Scene(newContentParent));
I don't think you are quite asking for a complete scene change though as you "want the main window and the scene in one stage". The main window is a stage (as Stage extends Window). And a given stage can only contain one scene at a time (though you can swap it out by calling setScene as described earlier).
What I think you are really asking for how can you replace some content part of the active Scene on the Stage. To do that you can set a layout manager like a HBox or a BorderPane as the root of your scene, then change out the content of the layout manager. For example:

How to play a movie clip with a tween animation

I created a movie clip symbol with a tween animation and created an instance of it on the main stage. The animation is in the movie clip timeline, not on the main timeline. I cannot get the mc to play using mc.play() or mc.gotoAndPlay. What am I missing??

1.Yes I named the instance.
2.I don't beleive so. I started from the library creating a new symbol, added the graphics, added the key frames, then created the tween. Then I dragged the symbol onto the main stage and named the instance. So I don't think there is a movie clip inside an mc.

How to display new scene on top of the browser as default

I have a flash animation with 15 scenes, On main page there are many links and user has to browse vertically using browser scrollbar, when a user clicks on a link which is at the bottom and goes to that page the position of scrollbar is same as that was on main page (scene), I want the new scene to be opened at top of the browser as default.

then you'll need to use javascript to control the scrollbar.
if you don't know how to do that, post the code you're using in your flash button.

I changed my Apple ID (new email address, same account), via the Apple website on my laptop, but when I try log into ITunes on my iPad, it still has the old ID. It is greyed out, so I can't change it. On researching further, it seems I have to sign out of iTunes and sign back in using new address. Ok so far, but when I do this, it asks if I want to delete the account and any data on the cloud. If I do this, and sign in with changed ID, will all the data be there Or will it be lost? Sounds like apps purchased from those accounts got synced to the iPod and it is asking to log into that account to update them.
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
What do yo see if yo go to the Updates Section of the App Store app?

The problem with those two apps is that they are supposed to be in your Apple ID and you didn't set up the Mac properly/completely when you got it.
You might try deleteing them and using OS X Recovery to install them again.

I had this same issue and got it resolved very simply when I contacted Apple SUpport

> Save changes
> Go to Settings > iCloud and sign out of the infomation

When I set up the icloud I was using my then email address. My email address has now changed.

So to solve the problem I set up a new account under the new email address. The only problem is my iphone is still asking for the old email address password which doesn't work.

Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with one Apple ID with a new Apple ID.

Hi and thanks. The password on the old iCloud account doesn't work and my ex-husband says he doesn't know what it is -- and that he's not getting emails to reset the password. I tried using the rescue questions and even the birthdate isn't working. I think he's changed it to keep me out, but it's charging my credit card account.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First change it with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account
Then change it on your device. In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

Anything you downloaded with the first Apple Id will forever be tied to it, and will always require it to update.
The question here is, why did you think you needed to create a new Apple ID? What was the problem with the first one?
To get rid of th old one, you'll need to delete everything you downloaded with it, and then sign out of the ID in several places around the iPad.
Go to Settings->iTunes & App Stores->Apple ID->Sign out.
Repeat the process, for Facetime, Messages, Mail and any other App you need to sign out of.

To change the iCloud ID ("email address") you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. My Iphone 4 is telling me the same thing and I believe I figured out what the problem is. I had some fraudulent charges on my itunes account, so I call my bank and disputed the charges. Right after I did that, I started getting the message "Your apple ID has been disabled." I just realized today that the charges are not fraudulent, they are "in app purchases." One of my daughters downloaded the game Top Girl which is FREE, but in the game Top Girl you use money in the game to purchase things. It just so happens that the money you use to purchase things is real money MY Money!!!. My daughter thought she was using play money in the game and had no idea she was using real money. She spent $106.00 buying stuff. Now I have to call the bank and tell them to release the hold and pay Itunes. I'm hoping this solves the problem.
