Changing users with WNA Configuration ??

Is there any way i can log out a change users when using WNA configuration ?
For example, in a certain moment i am logged in as userA.domain.com, then i want to log in as a differnet user, say, userB.domain.com, but when i tryed to log off, and login again the user is always userA.domain.com.
Is there any way a can logout and the log in again as user userB ??

I'm not sure whether you want the server simply to run as some other user other than "administrator", or if you want it to execute as a different user account for each client connection.
If what you want is the server simply to run as another account, you need to start it differently. For example, on WinNT/WinXP, it is possible to run the server as a Windows service. A service can be configured to run under any user account you choose, which should solve your problem. As for how to run the server as a Windows service, I recommend using the freeware here:

I was able to use this successfully without a lot of trouble. If your environment is Linux etc. I am sure there is a way to change the account under which a process is run, but I don't know enough about it to tell you how.
However, if what you want is for the server to operate as a different user for each client conection, I think that would be much trickier. You would probably need to spawn a different process for each connection using JNI to write some platform-specific intefacing to accomplish the account switching.

    I have a Mac Pro that is shared by multiple users. Some edit using Avid Media Composer 6.0, and some edit using Final Cut Pro 7. Our client monitor is connected using a Matrox MX02 Mini. When I install the latest drivers for the Matrox MX02, I can use the client monitor with Media Composer, but not Final Cut Pro 7. When I back-rev the drivers to support Final Cut Pro 7, I can't use the MX02 in Media Composer.
    Is there a way to set up two users -- one for Avid editing and one for Final Cut editing -- that will each load different sets of drivers?

    Not in one boot system. The only way I can think of doing what you want is to dual-boot - ie, either partition a single drive with two volumes, one for each configuration, or, if you can, use separate physical drives. The Matrox drivers are loaded at the system level, not the user level.
    If you have a spare drive, you would just clone your system across using Carbon Copy Cloner / SuperDuper, then boot to the second system and adjust the drivers as necessary.

  • User privilages or changing users with RMI

    I'm exploring the use of RMI, and based on some tutorials I created a distributed application which uses RMI.
    I launch the RMI server under my admistrator account. However, when a user launches the client portion of my application and executes code on the remote machine running the RMI server, the code on the server side is exectued as the admin instead of the user who is using the client.
    What is generally done for this problem? Is there a way to switch users? Thank you for any ideas.

  • Users with same configurations - one has access not the other

    Hi all,
    I have a real mysterious problem.
    On the same computer, installed with "Cisco VPN Client v5.0.07.0410", one user can connect to the VPN and not the other. Both users uses the same Dynamic Access Policies on our ASA firewall. We are certain that the users entered the correct name and password. But one can enter in our network and the other gets an "Authentication failed" message directly in the "User Authentication" window.
    Has someone an idea to help us solve this problem ?
    I provide you here a log file of the problem (IKE.log level 3), if you think you need an other, please ask.
    In this log, I have the feeling that the cause (and maybe the solution) is around event 293, but......not sure.

    Hi gurus,
    I would like to know if it is possible to change the configuration of users with an admin user.
    For example. I don't have the pass of user A. Meanwhile, I nedd to change the layout of an appraisal document, a specif portal configuration for that user. Is it possible to change that configuration with my user.
    I asking this becausa I'm doing maintenance of SAP portals and some users don't give access to their accounts for privacy reasons. Do you have any ideia if it is possible?
    My specific case is HCM. I need to change add an entry to a layout of an user but I can not access to his account. It may look nonsense, but sometimes it happens.

    It is possible to change the configuration of users with an admin user.,as such only if  you have administrator rights.If u wan tto change the appraisal document with the specified user if suppose you are saying that user a is not there ,admin user can be used for editing the particular document ,where in all the information can be there with administrator .

  • Problem with Notifications on Create User/ Change User Password

    Hello,
    I'm having a problem sending emails to users when an account is created in OIM.
    I added a notification to the user and user's manager on the Create User task in the Xellerate User process definition but the emails are not being sent.
    I know that if I create another task with the purpose of sending emails and invoke it through the response in the Create User task, it will work.
    My aim is to avoid adding tasks for something OIM should be able to do OOTB.
    I'm also unable to send an email when a password is updated.. I did the same thing as for the Create User and I know the task (Change User Password) is being invoked by looking at the logs but the emails aren't being sent.
    Has anyone ran into such problems?
    I'm having these problems in the Xellerate User process task.. i've added notifications in other process tasks (mainly approval tasks) and they are working fine.

    I am just confuse with your response.Have you added the "Password Updated" task in xellerate user provisioning process?
    Now if you changing password in OIM profile it will trigger "Change User Password" task not the "Password Updated" task and even if you add "Password Updated" task on Xellerate User provisioning task you can't see this task in Resource Details.
    Now assume if you added your notification on "Password Updated" task of any resource which user is provisioned to even then when you change oim password it only trigger "Change User Password" task.So try to have your notification on "Change User Password" task.
    Please clarify so that I can response correctly.

    I have a CUCM with no LDAP or AD integration. I already configured the directory integration with CUCM and it synchronized the user accounts to CWMS. When trying to login with end user account, password configured in CUCM doesn't work. What is the process to configure CWMS to authenticate with CUCM user database? Thanks.

  • Migrating users - with a twist (change AD accounts to local)

    This scenario occurs on 5 Mac Pros currently running 10.5 and that have a bunch of software already installed, which I am trying to avoid redoing (obnoxious email settings, etc).
    These machines currently authenticate against Active Directory directly, but only one person logs on per machine. So basically the users on the machine are local admin and AD authenticated user with all files stored locally. The AD thing is starting to break down left and right and I'm proposing it's time for it to go. So I would like to convert the AD authenticated user's files and account over to a locally authenticated account. If it's useful I'm gonna upgrade these machines to 10.6 (preferably in place upgrade due to all of the preconfigured apps) either during this process or more likely after.

    According to the description, I know that users cannot see free/busy information via Outlook 2010 which user account and mailbox in separate domain.
    How about OWA? If users can see free/busy information in OWA, it seems an issue on the Outlook client or Autodiscover side.
    Please try to run Outlook under safe mode or re-create profile for testing.
    Also make sure the user has reviewer permission.
    If the 2 domains are located on multiple-forest, please export SCP from resource forest and import into user account forest. Command as below:
    Export-AutoDiscoverConfig -DomainController DomainControllerName -TargetForestDomainController TargetForestDomainControllerName -MultipleExchangeDeployments $true

    plug your ipad to your computer, open your itunes, click on the ipad icon, at the first page there is an option to "restore" ipad to its factory settings, click it. Don't remove USB connection, wait until it finishes wiping the data and it should place a new window that asks you to register the ipad.
    There you go, your iPad is sync with your itunes account under your name, its best to also use "Find my iPad" just in case it gets lost, you can track it from your computer. Very handy tool and its free!
    But if you want the data that is in the iPad, back up it first and sync the content to your library before restoring it to its factory settings

    I made some changes in the router configuration.
    I removed FA0/0.2 Voice interface from Voice service voip configuration (bind control source-interface FastEthernet0/0.2 and bind media source-interface FastEthernet0/0.2). And now it’s using ip address 10.1.1.101 (data ip).
    The debugging is changed now. I can send and receive a respond from SIP server. But  It shows an error: SIP/2.0 404 Not Found
    Then it moves to ISDN line, and use this line to make a call.

    Then I removed SIP-UA as I was told there is no registration necessary, only Dial-peer configuration.
    But it didn’t affect anything.
    Then I add translate-outgoing called 10 command to dial-peer 9000, nothing happened.

    Yes, I saw that RTP debugging, but what can I change there? Maybe I need to open more ports on ASA for RTP like 19412?
    I use Cisco ASDM for ASA to make changes.
    There are static NAT rules for: Server source IPs(10.1.1.100) to Outside(translated IPs, 88.99.77.44)  for a few ports.
    Also I added Security policy access rules for LAN: Any to SIP, and Outside: SIP to any.
    For NAT:
    I can't add this: for LAN: STATIC ROUTER IP 10.1.1.101 (AS SOURCE) UDP 5060 TO OUTSIDE IP 88.99.77.44
    (AS TRANSLATED) UDP 5060
    Because there is already translation for the Server.
    Debugging looks like that now. There is no Received: SIP/2.0, but I can make an outside call with no audio.
