Channel determination

Hi,
My requirement is,A custom org determination rule(T.code is PFAC)   has to be built to pick the sales org, division, distribution channel from the t.code crmd_order,complaint ,ordersales tab partner(sold to or ship to). This rule will be used in the customizing for the org determination.
please suggest me to achieve this.

  • Channel Determination Failure

    I have a RFC -> XI -> SOAP scenario. When I attempt to send a test message in RWB, I get a Channel Determination Failure message for the receiver (SOAP comm. channel). Looks like the Receiver channel has been started but is not used.
    Both the sender and receiver Comm Channels are in active status. I have defined the Sender and Receiver services as Business Systems. Any help is appreciated.

  • PORT-CHANNELS

    Hi ,
    Can some help me on the below scenerios .
    SW1 : MAC ( AA)
    SW2 : MAC (BB)
    SW1 fa0/1  ---------------fa0/1 SW2
    1. When a STP BPDU comes out from SW1 its will have Source MAC of the egress interface ( in ethernet header ) and Port ID as fa0/1 inside BPDU
    Now What happens in this case
    SW 1 ----------- 3 links ------ SW2
    3 links are bundled to one PO ( lets say fa0/1-3 )
    1. How what will be the Source MAC and port ID in the BPDU that egress from SW1
    SW 1 ----------- 3 links ------ SW2
    How is the Ether-channel determines which interface should be active in the bundle .
    Whether SW1 or SW2 will have this rights .
    How is the ether-channel mac picked from the N number of bundled interface.
    If i have fa0/1-3 in one group .
    Initially the fa0/1 was active and PO MAC was this fa0/1 MAC .
    Now i have shut the fa0/1 , so fa0/2 was active and PO MAC changed .
    Now brought back fa0/1 . But why wtill fa0/2 is active and PO uses fa0/2 MAC

    In the etherchannel, the three ports are seen as one STP link.  All links in the ether-channel will be active.  That is the point of etherchanneling.

  • Day Long Continuous DAQ Occasionally Getting a 200279 Error

    So I'm pretty new to LabVIEW but I am attempting to create a continuous data aquistion VI that will record data average it to display and record a data point once every second.
    The problem is that no matter what I change I cannot avoid getting a
    Error -200279 occurred at DAQmx Read (Analog 1D Wfm NChan NSamp).vi
    Possible reason(s):
    Measurements: Attempted to read samples that are no longer available. The requested sample was previously available, but has since been overwritten.
    Odd thing is that on some occasions, the VI can run for over a day and not return any error and sometimes the VI will only run for 8 hours and then stop due to the 200279 error. This is incredibly frustraiting. I'll attach my code; if anyone would want to look at it I'd be forever in your debt.

    Just some thoughts.
    1.  You do not need the seperate VI to configure the output buffer.  When you setup the timing, the Samples per Channel determines the buffer size when using Continuous Acquisition.  Set the Samples per Channel to the 30000.  Maybe the extra VI's effort is ignored for some reason and the buffer is really only 1000 samples (1 second's worth)?
    2.  No need to use the property node to see how many samples are available.  Set the number of samples to read to -1 and it will read all of the available points.  Per the DAQmx Read VI help "If the task acquires samples continuously and you set this input to -1, this VI reads all the samples currently available in the buffer."
    3.  If you want to grab data once every second, simply hard code the 1000 into the wait.
    4.  Think about offloading the file write to another loop using a queue.  Look into the Producer-Consumer architecture for more details.  If the file write is taking a very long time, this could cause issues.  But 1 second is a long time, so this is likely not your problem.

    regards

    This channel can be allocated manually or can be pre-configured by using
    automatic channel allocation.
    The number of allocated channels determines the maximum degree of
    parallelism that is used during backup restore or recovery. For example if
    you allocate 8 channels for a backup operation 8 background processes for the
    operation can run concurrently.
    Parallelism of backup sets allocates multiple channels and assigns
    files to specific channels. You can configure parallel backups by setting a
    PARALLELISM option of the CONFIGURE command to a value greater than 1 or by
    manually allocating multiple channels.

  • Frequency measurement FP-CTR502

    I am trying to measure the frequency of a pulse signal coming into my FP-CTR502.  I know I can conncect it to a gate, and then using a reference 32k or 1k signal on another channel, determine reference counts/time.  But I am limited on inputs and would like to see if there is a way I can directly read it on one channel.  The only way I have been able to do this is read the counter, and then shorlty there after read the counter again and counts/time again, but I would like more accuracy especially with a slow freq (800RPM with a 1-2s sample rate).   From what I understand, Diadem offers a module that reads it directly from the input.  Is there something similar in Labview?
    thanks,
    C

    Hi C,
    There are three methods that you can use to measure the frequency with the FieldPoint Counter modules. This knowledgebase thoroughly describes the first two methods and has some helpful links: How Can I Measure Frequency With the FP-CTR-500/502?
    The third method is to simply use a single counter to find the number of pulses over a period of time. If you need higher accuracy than this method, then I recommend using one of the two methods described in the knowledgebase.

  • How does DIADEM import TDMS files? How gets every channel his number and groupindex? How can I determine which channel has which groupindex and number?

    I store different channels in a TDMS file.
    I like to have a time channel at the first position with group index 1 and number 1.
    When I read the TDMS file with DIADEM the time channel (Float64) is on a differernt position, and the channels are not sorted alphabetically.
    Here are my questions:
    How does DIADEM import TDMS files?
    How gets every channel his number and groupindex?
    How can I determine which channel has which groupindex and number?
    Best regards
    Joerg

    Hi Jörg,
    i suppose that you´re programme whose create the *.tdms file is writing on false position. Try to create datas with timechannel on first indes in diadem, then save it and then open it again. you see that all is correct. So please tell me what programm in what version do you use and please attache it here.
    Did you use the library for creating *.tdms files like in the link ?
    http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/6471
    Here you find the gtdms_8.x.zip - when you extract it and opened the *.llb you find vi´s for all functions e.g. writing 2d array of strings to *.tdms file
    when you open the subvi´s then you see how created and writing datas/structure to *.tdms files. Because *.tdms is binary you can´t see structure with open it in editor.
    When you don´t have Labview you can use the 30 days test of current version 8.5 under following link

  • How can I programmatically determine the capabilities of a card under NI-DAQmx (e.g. max sample rate, number of AI/AO/CTR channels, etc.

    Is there a DAQ_Get_Device_Info() equivalent for NIDAQmx? I need to iterate thru all the devices on my system, and build up a list of device capabilities. The system may include M-series and E-series cards.

    Attached is a program I've used in the past to determine number of AI channels. It could be easily modified to check for AO or digital or counter. Also, there is a ton of properties that you have access to (i.e. max sample rate, max/min voltage inputs, etc.) that are accessed as properties of the type of channel, or timing properties, as opposed to properties of the board. Check out the DAQmx C Reference Help (Usually at Start>>All Programs>>National Instruments>>NI-DAQ). Expand the NI-DAQmx C Properties, and look at the List of Channel Properties, and Timing Properties, etc.

  • Receiver determination is not showing communication channel

    HI, I am working on file adpater scenario. I have created communication channel and later deleted it. Then created new communication channel and completed  other steps like - creating- receiver determination and interface determination. But when I am trying to create Receiver agreement , I am not getting the new communication channel in selection list. Its showing old communication channel that i created and deleted. There are no entries to activate in Change list and  cache refresh also working fine.
    Please let me know why its showing old comunication channel, instead of new one.

    Dear rajaram,
    I found two chances to have the above mentioned situation.
      [1]. You have deleted the channel from the scenarios and Change lists, But you may find the same in the Objects Tab[between the Change LIst tab and Scenarios Tab].
      [2]. The second chance is that you may created the channel with the conflict on the 'Sender' or 'Receiver'. Check the second one. I believe the second one made this probelm

  • Organizational Data Determination - Dristribution Channel & Division

    Dear all,
    I have a question regarding organizational data determination.
    Defining a determination rule, I have the possibility to provide my custom FM that should perform an automatic organizational data determination. The FM offers the possibility to return a table containing all organizational units that are currently wanted/allowed.
    However, what I would like to do is, to restrict the choice list to a number of combinations of org unit + distribution channel + division. I don't want the system to display a popup containing all distribution channel-division combinations from the org model. I would like to restrict this set according to my custom logic.
    The question is: Is this possible at all? If yes, how?
    Many Thanks
    Martin

    Hello Robert,
    I'm sorry I don't quite understand what you meant. Maybe my requirement is not yet clear.
    Everything you explained was already done by myself. The problem I face is an ugly popup I would like to get rid of. This popup shows al the combinations of channel and division for the determined org unit. However, I would like to show only those combinations that are valid for the current customer.
    As far as I understood, the only "return" value of my FM is the actor_tab. The ac_container seems to be treated like an importing parameter. I don't think modifying the contain within the FM would affect anything - right?
    An example:
    After my FM is executed the actor_tab contains only one value, say it is a sales office. The customer in scope has only one asignment for this sales office, channel and division are also defined there.
    It seems like the system would now evaluate which channels and divisions are valid for that sales office. Therefore it checks the functions in the org model. In my case, the result is a quite big list.
    I would like to restrict this list to the channel and division defined for the current customer.
    How can I do that? Any ideas? Am I totally wrong with my view on this?
    Thanks in advance & best regards
    Martin

  • Determine number of channels on a DAQ card

    Is there a function to determine the number of channels on a given DAQ card?

    I found no native function to get this attribute; you can use DAQmxGetDeviceAttribute with DAQmx_Dev_AI_PhysicalChans attribute to get a list of available channels on a device and then parse the string counting channels. The following lines can be executed in the Interactive Execution window: provided the device name is correct they count how many input channels are present on the board:
    #include <ansi_c.h>
    #include <utility.h>
    #include <NIDAQmx.h>
    static int i;
    static char msg[512];
    static char *token;
    DAQmxGetDeviceAttribute ("Dev1", DAQmx_Dev_AI_PhysicalChans, msg, 512);
    i = 0; token = strtok (msg, ",");
    while (token) {
    i++;
    token = strtok (NULL, ",");
    DebugPrintf ("# of channels: %d\n", i);
     The same function has equivalent attributes for analog outputs, counters and digital I/O lines / ports.
    Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

  • How to determine Secure Channel key set index or version within applet

    Hi,
    Is there any way to determine from within the applet the used key set index or key set version?
    The ProviderSecurityDomain object does not contain such a property to my understanding.
    b.r.
    Fabe

    No there is not. There are API's to ask the security domain to do crypto operations using the current secure channel session keys and GP says that the security domain needs to be aware of what keys to use for this.
    The key information is not exposed to the applet as it is not generally required and for security reasons.

  • Determine NIF port used by VIF when configured in a port-channel

    I have recently just watched an excellent Cisco Live video on UCS performance troubleshooting which demonstrated how to trace network traffic within Cisco UCS. The speaker made a comment though, in order to determine which NIF is used by a VIF when port-channels are used between the FEX and FI there are different commands to run. Have to review the hash result or something he said. Unfortunately he never went into what these commands were.
    So when we have veths pinned to port-channels instead of HIFs and NIFs, what commands will show which path is being used?

    The new attachment is showing channels for traditional DAQ (upper) and DAQmx (lower). You can clearly see a selection of channels inside the traditional DAQ box.
    How do I determine the number of channels? The DAQmx way to do that does not work for the traditional.
