Check for All Content Areas privilege
Hi,
Does anyone know hoe to check for the All Content Areas (or All
Pages) privilege, which can be set in the Privileges tab of the
Edit Group portlet?
I know how to check for explicit folder access:

This function does not consider, however, that administrators
can see everything.
How can I check if a user or his/her group has the All Content
Areas privilege?

Guess what? After posting, I read another thread on this topic where someone said they went to an Apple store and the tech person there added the optional username and password in the Outgoing Mail Server boxes, and then reset the phone again. Although I had tried resetting and restarting a few times today, I had NOT reset it after entering the username and password into the optional fields.
When I entered my username and password into the optional fields, the iPhone entered checks (ticks) to the right of every entry; it had not done this earlier. (I didn't reset at this time, and the outgoing mail would still not transmit).
So just now, I reset it and the outgoing email was sent!
Thanks to you and this forum, it's a great ending to a few frustrating days.
I hope this message helps others. Not only does everything have to be entered correctly in the respective boxes; but once everything is entered and you press the "Done" button, every box should then have a check mark next to it and then you must reset the phone. -
NSS4100 RAID DOES NOT START Please check that all components are present
Hi, The NSS4100 storage system failed to start the raid10.
The message is:
Failed to start RAID
Please check that all components are present
All the disks are present as you can see in the attached image.The system has been restarted twice. Is there a possibility to start again the raid without losing data?

I have exactly the same problem which is discribed first in this Thread.
We have a NSS 4000.
4 HDs - RAID 5
SATA 2 was faulty an the RAID was degraded
There was no problem with the data on the Volumes. I pulled the disk on SATA 2 (which was the one which no longer was in the RAID). Ich pushed it in again. Then on RAID site i clicked on 'Edit' and then on 'Add'. I thought the RAID would then synchronize the fourth HD and the status is going to be 'Running' and we are safe of one harddisk failiure.

While the process was synchronizing i could access the data on the Volumes.
But after 90 min the RAID was broken. No Access on the data - no shares. The Status is 'Stopped'. All 4 HDs are Online and the Health Status is 'Passed'
If i click on Start: "Failed to start raid. Please check that all components are present."
I have no saved configuration because i thought that there will be no problem with this 'basic procedure' of a RAID device.
Even if the HD is broken the RAID should be doing his job in 'Degraded' mode. Thats because i am using a RAID.
So am i right that our data is gone because only one HD from a RAID 5 seems to be broken? -
Content Area Privileges : Is this a bug
We have the following scenario:
1.Create content area 'con' as portal30.
2. Assigned authenticated_users group privileges of 'Make Public' on this content area.
All logged in users can now see all items in this content area.
Next we
removed authenticated_users group privileges from this content area.
However even now all logged in users can see all items in the content area.
Is this a bug?? Doesn't removing the authenticated_users group privileges prevent all users except portal30 from accessing the content area.

Check the root folder properties of your 'Con' CA and make sure that you have 'unchecked' the 'Make Public' checkbox.

How to create a default Style for several Content Areas
Hello,
I have not been able to figure out how to create default styles/nav bars/etc... that can be used between SEVERAL Content Areas, and/or for any new Content Area. It seems to me that what is created in one Content Area, is not available for use in any other Content Area.
Being that I'd like to keep the Administrative overhead as low as possible, I wonder if anyone has and/or knows how to create a default style, etc.. and use it with each Content Area across an Enterprise site???

I now have N8 with Anna perfectly working without tweaking (except for wifi scanning) any settings without battery life issues and no spontaneous resets..

I still had sluggish performance after soln 1. I also noticed, that all the issues are reported by people who have "upgraded from pr 1.2 to Anna". I have not come across similar issues in the forum from people "who purchased phone with Anna pre-loaded". It seems that the upgrade process probably has some issues.
I downloaded the "FULL" official firmware of my country's variant of Anna. Using a tool that I downloaded, I completely flashed my N8 with the full firmware. Ever since performance has been a whiz...no battery life issues and no resets. It is as good as the N8 purchased from the store with Anna pre-loaded from factory.
Some caveats :
1. This is not for the timid-hearted. The steps have to be followed exactly. Do your research before you attempt.
2. Take a backup of your N8 before you do this. After you follow the procedure "Do not restore your applications & settings". Re-install them instead.
3. For reasons that are obovious, I cannot mention the steps nor the links. It is easy enough to get by google search.

How to package different content so that the same license can be used for all content.
1) If packaging all the content at the same time, use the same instance of DRMParameters every time you call MediaEncrypter.encryptContent(). All content packaged using the exact same DRMParameters object will be associated with the same license.
2) If packaging content at different times, but want to have all the content associated with the same license, you need to use V2KeyParameters.setContentEncryptionKey(). The first time you package a piece of content, you would use ContentEncryptionKey.generate() to generate a new key/license ID. To use the same key/license for later content, you need to store the info in ContentEncryptionKey, so you can pass in the same values later for the new content.To package content at different times using the same license, you need to implement the following:
Call ContentEncryptionKey.generate to generate a new key and license ID.
On your V2KeyParameters, call setContentEncryptionKey and pass in the object generated in step 1.
Call MediaEncrypter.encryptContent and pass in the V2KeyParameters (via DRMParameters), as usual.
Store the contents of ContentEncryptionKey, so the same values can be used again later. The key, license ID, and packaging date should all be stored.
When you want to package additional content using this license, lookup the stored key, license ID, and packaging date and pass these into the ContentEncryptionKey constructor to create a ContentEncryptionKey instance.
On your V2KeyParameters, call setContentEncryptionKey and pass in the object generated in step 5.
Call MediaEncrypter.encryptContent and pass in the V2KeyParameters (via DRMParameters), as usual.
The media packaged in steps 3 and 7 should now be protected using the same license. -

I want to enable us to share all apps, music, videos and photos, but enable each phone to keep its contacts and history separate. If I use 1 ID, all new purchases will go on the same credit card, which I'm not sure is ideal, but not horrible. Since we use the same computer and iTunes using only 1 appleID, and the phones are new to the equation since it was only iPods before, what is the best way to handle a family with 3 phones that can share all entertainment content, but not all phone-related stuff? I saw that you can use one AppleID for purchases, but another for iCloud. That may be the best solution, but I don't know enough about this yet to move forward yet- migrating from Android...

Tidal check for files that are in a certain format
Hello,
I am new to Tidal and I have been able to get a simple job to work that simply logs into our client's SFTP server, gets all files and brings them back to our system. Since SFTP is smart enough to know if we have a duplicate file, using wildcards has proved as an easy way to get this job started.
However, we certainly would rather have this job running a lot tighter and error proof for the future. So I figured I would come here to ask a few questions and see if anyone could provide me with some assistance on getting this script running a lot better.
Basically, we need to check this client's site every four hours for a file that they will be uploading daily. They don't put it on the site at the same time everyday, so that makes things a tad bit more difficult, but certainly not a big deal. The format of the file is always going to be the same and this is where I wanted some assistance.
The file will always be in the format of yyyymmdd_this_is_same_every_time.gz
So I basically just need a way to define a varaible in Tidal for this file that will take into consideration the date stamp of the file. Grab that certain file and then move it to an archive directory. We then plan on deleting files that are over a week old in the archive, but I feel like that is the easier task here.

Thanks guys.If you go to the variable definition item, you can define a variable of date and check the "calculated" box. This allows you to apply various offsets such as +1, -1, previous working day and so on. Judicious combination of these offsets can give you all sorts of capabilities like "previous working day unless its the 29th February and unless its the year 2025 but it is my birthday".
"Working day -1 except if its Monday so last working day was Friday" is a common one for people to use.
Just remember you are now looking in the variables definitions menu ie outside the job definition as discussed above.

I have always been able to open my emails and access their contents using Firefox. Now, this morning, I can no longer access the contents of my emails, but can still open them.

There are many problems with webmail (especially gmail) lately. It can be caused by the AdBlock extension. If you have it installed here's what to do:
1. "Ctrl+Shift+F" Preferences (or right click on ADP symbol and choose preferences)
2. 'Filters' menu > "Update all subscriptions"

No connection message for Web Content areas.
I have a live twitter panel loading into a Web Content overlay. In the event they do not have a connection, is there an alternate page that can be displayed with a simple message? I'm looking through the docs/search and oddly nothing has come up for this. I know I've come across it in the past.
Figuring it just needs another html file in the same folder called "error.html"... or the like.

I created a poster-image and dropped it into the rectangle that the web content will be assigned to. I've linked to a local .html file and have it set to AutoPlay and Allow User Interaction. And I left the background transparency unchecked.
Unfortunately, it seems to be creating a similiar scenerio to what Alistair was suggesting, where the image is visible while the web content loads. Possible I'm missing something or is this to be expected? Are both approaches essentialy the same?

EULA's for all updates are not downloading.
I hope someone can help... I've scoured the web for a possible solution but have found nothing as of yet. Updates that have software terms or EULA's are not usable because after synchronization I keep getting the error "This update cannot be approved
for installation because its Mircrosoft Software License Terms failed to download".
I have WSUS 3.2 running on a server 2003 R2 install. WSUS is configrued to go straight out to the internet, bypassing the proxy. I'm letting all HTTP/HTTPS traffic out of the firewall from this box. I made sure the Network Service account
has full control over the WSUS folder, as well as all users having read permission to the root of the drive it is on. Update files are being stored locally on the server. I've upgraded BITS to version 2.5 to try to remedy the problem. No
help there.
