Check In Similar Fucntion for PCM within URM

Hi All,
Using the checkin similar options for Physical content items within URM, doesnt pull any of teh location infromation across to the new record. Other fields are pulled across successfully.
Not sure what could be casuing those fields not to populate. Any idea's?

If we give two manual triggers with 2 different Xpath conditions for applicable image, then documaker executes an OR condition between the conditions to trigger the image.

    Hi Jess,
    Have you checked the navigation part which is being displayed on left hand side of report S_ALR_87013565 and S_ALR_87013533.? There you have option to check transaction currency and object currency when you double click on it.
    In case if it is not being displayed under navigation. Then you can bring them on from transaction code CJE2. For eg: Report group for S_ALR_87013533 is 12KST1C. Double click on it and it will open up to do changes in report layout and many more. There you also have options to bring on transaction currency too. Similarly, you can check for other report groups as well just by checking the report description.
    But I am not sure if suits your requirements. Wait for other experts to comment on this.

  • Check in Similar not populating custom metadata value set by global rule

    I have created a global rule to set the default value for custom metadata field creation date as current system date.This rule is working fine for normal check in but when i am using check in similar functionality of ucm the creation date value is getting populated from original content metadata value instead of default value set by rule.Is there any way to populate creation date as default value set by rule even in the check in similar function.

    Check-in similar does not evaluate scripts in the "use defaultvalue" field, as it has to copy metadata values. However, you can add script to the "Is derived field" as well. Just don't use dprDefaultValue but dprDerivedValue=
    This script will be evaluated before check-in operation and any value contained in the metadata field will be overwritten with value defined by script.

    Is it possible to make availability check in sales orders for a service material e.g.: type DIEN? How can i customize it?

    The DIEN material type is not stock managed, so it does not make sense to check the availability. If you need to do something similar you could use material type UNBW, this material is quantity managed but not valuated, so maybe this can help you !

  • Hiding/Showing new fields to Form on Check In Similar

    Hi,
    I am a newbie UCM developer.
    Is it possible to hide some fields and show some more fields on Check In Similar.
    The idea is to have a short Check In form with a few details and check it in without content. The next step would be the user will search based on some metadata fields and then click on Check In Similar. At this point we want some more fields added to the check in form.
    Any ideas on how to do this? For now the customer does not want to use customization. Appreciate your response.

    create 2 profile Rules myRule1, myRule2
    myRule1 will have all the fields that are to be displayed when you the user does CheckIn Similar
    and rule activation condition as
    ((not myCustomVariable like "myCustomValue"))myRule2 will only have few fields.
    ((myCustomVariable   like "myCustomValue"))create a profile myProfile1 and add the above rules
    to checkin in an item for reference (few fields), append "&myCustomVariable=myCustomValue" to URL.
    +(this will trigger myRule2 and only few fields will be displayed)+

    I agree with you. However, if we take a trip in the "wayback machine" to the big forum changeover (can it really be that long ago?), I was BILL HUNT. Notice that everything is in all caps, because I'd had this one, from the earliest days of Adobe on the Internet. That was what the OS's of the day did.
    The forum changeover happened, and out of almost nowhere, the_wine_snob surfaced. Immediately, I went to change this back to BILL HUNT, or the updated, Bill Hunt. Could not do it. Both names were taken. In 2.5 days? I could not believe this. I had filled in the little info screen, prior to the changeover, with all data - same e-dress, same screen name, etc.. With the fora down for those few days, and me logging in as soon as they came up, how could others get my name? Must be a lot of BILL HUNT's in OZ, or NZ!!! Believe me, I tried. I had never posted to any Adobe forum, even back to the NTTP-only days, as other than BILL HUNT. Gone. Still, I try to sign every post with "Hunt."
    I hear you, but many seemed to get caught in the same "trickbag," as I was.
    At least with this screen name, if I hit a few keys incorrectly, or mis-remember something in a product forum, the readers can "fill in the blanks." Too much wine...

    BP is BDT (Business Data toolset) enabled (you can check it by adding break point in FM BUS_PBO and executing BP transaction). You can add your check directly to standard view (the check will be executed each time when user pushes enter) or you could add you check to appropriate action (during saving etc.) there are number of actions which you could use it depends on your requirements. You can find a lot of info about BDT (if you are not familiar) in Wiki.

    Is there a way to Payment Method Supplement Check Deactivation in F110 for already posted documents.
    The background: Some invoices are posted for a vendor when there is a pmt supplmnt method "L-large". Subsequently payment method supplement in vendor master was changed to 'S'. There is debit note posted with pmt method supp 'S' in document. Now while doing F110 system is splitting up the payments based on pmt method supplmt and theline item with debit balance is going in error because of debit balance. As a result the debit balance is not getting knocked off with the credit balance line item.
    Request you to help us in finding out if there is any way to generate onlyone line item in F110. Please rule out the option of changing the pmt supplmt at document level.

    If you are not changing the payment supplement in the document, F110 itself will not allow you to change that. You can possibly deactivate the Payment method temporarily in customizing, run the F110 with only the affected vendors. and activate back the payment method supplement in customizing. You can activate this under APP customizing (FBZP) "All company codes" under the control data section

    I've got a error msg when try to generate a report using Cisco history report tool:

    User tried samething on other PC, it working fine.
    only on user' own PC and only choose this report, error appears.

    tried reinstalled the software, doesn't work.

    I am getting an error message "All available connections to database server are in use by other client machines. Please try again later and check the log file for error 5054"  when trying to log into HRC (This user has the reporting capabilities) . I checked the log files this is what i found out 
    The log file stated that there were ongoing connections of HRC with the CCX  (I am sure there isn't any active login to HRC)
    || When you tried to login the following error was being displayed because the maximum number of connections were reached for the server .  We can see that a total number of 5 connections have been configured . ||

    What is the OS version of the PC you are running  and is it physical machine or virtual machine that is running the HRC client ..
    OS Version Windows 7 Home Premium  64 bit and it’s a physical machine.
    . The Max DB Connections for Report Client Sessions is set to 5 for each servers (There are two servers). The no of HR Sessions is set to 10.
    I wanted to know if there is a way to find the HRC sessions active now and terminate the one or more or all of that sessions from the server end ? 

    We have had this "PRX5" problem with Exchange 2013 since the RTM version.  We recently applied CU3, and it did not correct the problem.  We have seen this problem on every Exchange 2013 we manage.  They are all installations where all roles
    are installed on the same Windows server, and in our case, they are all Windows virtual machines using Windows 2012 Hyper-V.
    We have tried all the "this fixed it for me" solutions regarding DNS, network cards, host file entries and so forth.  None of those "solutions" made any difference whatsoever.  The occurrence of the temporary error PRX5 seems totally random. 
    About 2 out of 20 incoming mail test by Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer fail with this PRX5 error.
    Most people don't ever notice the issue because remote mail servers retry the connection later.  However, telephone voice mail systems that forward voice message files to email, or other such applications such as your scanner, often don't retry and
    simply fail.  Our phone system actually disables all further attempts to send voice mail to a particular user if the PRX5 error is returned when the email is sent by the phone system.
    Is Microsoft totally oblivious to this problem?
    PRX5 is a serious issue that needs an Exchange team resolution, or at least an acknowledgement that the problem actually does exist and has negative consequences for proper mail flow.

    I am trying to get more details on how to Build/Register "Private" AppCloud Apps and confirm at design time that we can deploy our in-house AppCloud Apps on several of our Eloqua instances without publishing them.
    My assumption is that one would setup the App under the Provider section for each of the Eloqua instances so that each Eloqua Instance can see and install our our in-house private app and use it without publishing. I worry about this method because it give the impression the AppCloud App is in development or testing.
    Or
    I was hoping there was some way to officially register our app so we are using a production workflow but our app is not published or listed anywhere?

    Hi Scott,
    The best practice here would be for you to:
    1. Register as a Provider in a development instance of Eloqua.
    2. Build out your app and Register it, along with your Service(s) under that Provider.
    3. Whitelist any Eloqua client installs that you wish to allow to use your App.  Do this by clicking the Publish to Another Site button.
    4. Give the App install URL (found at the bottom of the App Details page under Catalog) to any of those clients that you whitelisted to use your app.
    This way, only those clients that you've specified will be able to install and use your App, and it's not listed anywhere.  You could also click the Publish to App Cloud button, which simply whitelists every install.  The App will never actually be listed anywhere, as there is not yet a mechanism in the framework to do this.  The only way to find and install your App is by using that install URL, so you'd have to give it out.
    If you are a client that is building an App for use within your organization, you could also use your company's Eloqua install to register your provider, but as a development partner, your developer instance is intended to be used to register and manage your services.

    I have a prodject that i'm working on and i need to edit several images at once (preferabley) so that they are the same color. They are wooden cupboards and i need all the wood looking the same colour. In light room you can edit a group of images at the same time hence the colours are the same . Is this possible in Elements ? If so how do i do this ?
    I have tried duplicating layers and it just replaces the whole image, it seems to work using levels layers but not the other layers ... I have 30 more images to do and would ideally not like to adjust all the images manually ? I dont mind doing minor tweaks. Essentially all the images where taken with the same camera and lighting and lens's ...

    You could try using the raw converter. Open one file and edit it (File>Open, pick the image and choose Camera Raw as the format before you click Open). Then open the next image and click the little four-lined square on the upper right side of the ACR window and choose Previous Conversion from the flyout menu.
