Check rel. part field value is coming from the sales document type.
Goto sales document types (VOV8). Select the contract document type and choose details.
you can find this field check partner authorization field in contract sub heading. Here you can choose relevant one.

Tax Jurisdiction Code Check as part of a Sales Order Partner Function
Hi,
I have a scenario where we modify partner information directly in the sales order. These partners are simple addresses and are not tax relevant. We have set them up as one-time customers. Every time when we modify the address information, Vertex kicks in and tries to match the address information (street, city and state) with a tax jurisdiction code. In our case the address information is high level (only city and state) which is not enough for Vertex. SAP issues then a blocking error message.
We try to find a way to ignore Vertex for these specific partners. In the documentation we have found a user exit, as well as a BADI, but our developpers were not able to make it work in the sales oder.
The user-exit is the following: EXIT_SAPLFYTX_USER_001
The BADI is the following: IF_EX_ADDRESS_SUBSCREEN
In EXIT_SAPLFYTX_USER_001, I've found a parameter (EXEMP_IND) which could enable to bypass the tax jurisdiction code check and the RFC call to Vertex.
In IF_EX_ADDRESS_SUBSCREEN, I've found a parameter (CHECK_ADDRESS) which could potentially bypass the check as well.
Did any of you already experience this scenario or would you have an idea about how I could make this work?

LoicUnfortunately, the sales order is created through an interface (using iDOCs), and the external system feeding the iDOC for the sales order creation does not have any Zip Code information. Besides, even if the Zip Code is entered, it is still not enough for Vertex to choose automatically a Tax Jurisdiction Code, most of the times, it is also requiring a District, which again, will not be passed from the interface.
We went through this analysis already and we came to the conclusion that we need to bypass this check, as this partner function is not tax relevant.

R3 - CRM customer fields exchange of sales contract
Hi,
I need to replicate custom fields of sales contracts on item level (VBAP) from R/3 to CRM.
R3 fields have been created manually earlier and the CRM fields have now been created with EEWB with the option "Adding new fields to Business transactions". The checkbox "Also used in R/3" was disabled.
I am now able to exchange the sales contracts from R3 to CRM with middleware adapter object SALESCONTRACT and mBDoc BUS_TRANS_MSG.
But how can I exchange the custom fields appended to VBAP in R3?
Is there any BAdi I can use or do I need to enhance BDoc segments??

Want to pass STRS2 field into sales order and contract.

I am creating Sales order using function module IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS and Contract using SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE.
Now I want to pass STRS2(House number field into Sales Order/Contract). In IDOC I tried to pass E1EDKA1-STRS2, but its not coming into Sales order output.But SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE dont have an option to pass the field value.
So in that case how can I achieve the desired functionality, Is there any user exit or let me know the suitable method to achieve the functionality.

GowrishankarYes I tried that also.I passed the value from program to user exit MV45AFZZ and updated the structure XVBADR in USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE, but its not getting reflected in Sales Order/Contract.

What is the standard item category available in SAP CRM for sales contract.
What is the significance of Transaction category in Item category. I have configured BUS2000135- CRM Quantity/Value contract item for a z item category. It doesn't allow to add a partner determination which is configured for BUS2000121 Sales contract.Hi
I just checked an item category of type BUS2000135 and it contains a field for the partner procedure in the IMG. Can you double check it? If the you can't find the field please add a screen shot of the IMG to your answer.

Sales Contract - Contract Data Tab - Cancellation of a Sales Contract
Hello All,
I am trying to understand how the Cacellation of a Contract works. Currently we have setup Control Cancellation via configuration.
First Issue: When I can cancel a Sales Contract - It does change the Contract end date to what i have input. But in document flow it shows "open" status.
Second issue: If even though I have all the fields populated for cancellation. I am still able to create a Sales Order against that Contract.
Configuration Control Cancellation: 1. Have defined the Cancellation Reason. 2. Have defined Cancellation Procedures. 3. Have defined Cancellation Rules. 4. Haved Assigned Cancellation Rules & Cancellation Procedures.
Workout around solution: If I reject the line item it does close out the Contract and in Document flow it sets the status to "Completed"
My thoughts were on Cancellation was that if I cancel a Contract shouldn't it close out the Contract and in document flow should set the status to complete? Am I wrong? Do I have to use rejection at the line item and cancellation procedure?

1.a. yes it is.
2.a. it will throw you a warning message before creating a sales order against contract make it from warning to error message.
3.a. this is a development for making the status completed for this you need to check the tables - VBUK, VBUP & VBFA.
NOTE: dont use contract is completed status for your requriment.

How to restrict Material Class in Sales Contract Doc
Hi,
I need to restrict Material Class in Sales order based on Item catagory, Material group4 and Sales contract Document type.
If the above 3 fields having a particular value then the system should restrict all the other classes of that material and display only a particular class and it's related characteristics.
If any one come across such a senario then pklease let me know.

Customer wants to see Discount Field and Quantity field in Sales order Form

Highly appreciate if you provide the solution for below issue:
My customer requirement is to see Discount field in sales order lines screen...They want to know how much percentage of discount they are giving to customer, if they want to modify for respective line they modify in that field.
Standard functionality discount field is NOT there in SO lines for because they manual enter discount in SO form, system should calculate Discounted price.
One more required if they enter Item code, able to see available quantity bottom of the form Sub inventory wise, Availability, resealable.
Current standard functionality supports - Click Availability button to check the availability..Its very difficult for them to check for each and every line item, is there any functionality to support this issue.

There is no standard functionality which attains your requirements.
For my present project, we have customised 2 seperate reports, one which shows the availability of the items in subinventory and locator.
Also a report which shows discount for all the lines and for the entire order.

Credit and risk management takes place in the credit control area. According to your corporate requirements, you can implement credit management that is centralized, decentralized, or somewhere in between.
An organizational unit that represents the area where customer credit is awarded and monitored. This organizational unit can either be a single or several company codes, if credit control is performed across several company codes. One credit control area contains credit control information for each customer.
For example, if your credit management is centralized, you can define one credit control area for all of your company codes.
If, on the other hand, your credit policy requires decentralized credit management, you can define credit control areas for each company code or each group of company codes.
Credit limits and credit exposure are managed at both credit control area and customer level. You set up credit control areas and other data related to credit management in Customizing for Financial Accounting. The implementation guide is under Enterprise Structure -> Definition or Assignment -> Financial Accounting and then Maintain credit control area. You assign customers to specific credit control areas and specify the appropriate credit limits in the customer master record.
Settings for determining the credit control area of a document. The settings of items 1 - 4 are taken into account according to their priority. The credit control area found is stored in field VBAK-KKBER.

User exits in the screens
Additional header data is on screen SAPMV45A 0309, additional item data on screen SAPMV45A 0459. These screens contain the Include screens SAPMV45A 8309 or SAPMV45A 8459 as user exits.
Fields which are also to be included in the sales document for a specific installation should be included on the Include screens for maintaining. If an application-specific check module is needed for the fields, this can be included in the Include MV45AIZZ. The module is called up in the processing logic of the Include screens.
For field transports, you do not have to make changes or adjustments.
Example
A new field, VBAK-ZZKUN, should be included in table VBAK.
If the check is defined via the Dictionary (fixed values or check table) the field must be included with the fullscreen editor in the Include screen SAPMV45A 8309. In this case, no change has to be made to the processing logic. -
Sold to party showing editble mode in sales contract

I created a sales contract and followed by sales order, delivery billing the movement i am checking sales contract SOLD TO Party its showing editable mode in contract over view screen and i check in header partners it showing sold to party in gray mode , i maintain relevant configuration ( partner determination i mark as a SP not editable and mandatory function in sales document header and procedure KAB release order in that i assign SP sold to party with not editable and mandatory function
still its showing editable mode in sales contract
Same Config is working fine for Sales order, once subsequent document is created sold changing into gray mode
why same confg is not working for Sales contract
can any one guide me where i am wrong

Can we edit Gross Price field in Sales Order

According Help document (help - under Sales A/R/Sales Order-Sales document content tab ) as follows, userwe should be able to edit gross price field in Sales order
Enter in this field the unit price including tax. SAP Business One calculates automatically the unit price before tax and the tax amount, based on the tax code in the row. After pressing the TAB key, the Unit Price field and the Tax/Unit field are updated accordingly.
The tax amount is calculated as follows:
*Gross Price / (1 + Tax %) * Tax % = Tax Amount*
But when I set up in form setting visible and active for Gross Price, though I AM NOT ABLE TO EDIT GROSS PRICE FIELD

How to add a field in sales order

First I created a ZTable in which there are 15 fields exist then I append structure in ZVBAP which contain only one field from this ZTable. Now I place this field in the Subscreen 8459 of Sales Order under "Additional Data B" by using access key. Also i have Access to edit the module MV45AFZZ.
Then I wote the code in the
FORM userexit_save_document_prepare.

Robinyou can use ORDER_SAVE badi and check before method you can use CRM_ORDER_READ FM and count line items , if count is more than allowed number you can raise RAISE DONOTSAVE exception and issue a message to user. hope it helps you.
