Check username against database

Hi There,
Hoping you guys can help me out here. I am running a competition where users have to fill out a form to go in the competition. I am using the Event Module and then placing a web form inside the event. I am also using the form to subscribe users to a secure zone.
I am getting the user to specify a username and password on the form. Is there a way that I can display an error when the form is submitted, if they are using the same username as one already stored in the CRM?
At the moment it gives an error if the same email address has been used but I need it to also show an error if the same username has been used.

Something really need because it casues a few issues as well as just being a nice feature to have to achieve things like your doing.

Multisim does no check the schematic parts against the database automatically; you have to update it manually. To be honest, I prefer the schematic to remain the same unless I tell it to update.
Before you export the design to PCB, you should know which part you will buy and then change the footprint accordingly. If you export the design, then try to find parts to meet the default package from Multisim, this method is a lot harder.

Essbase Product Existence Check Fails against the Shared Services Server

Hello Everyone,
I am a new to Essbase
When I am launching the EAS web console and trying to log in, its giving me an error saying "Could not connect to Administration Server".
I looked in ESSBASE log file its showing an error 1051429 : "Essbase Product Existence Check Fails against the Shared Services Server with Error []"
This error actually started when I copied an Essbase Application from one of my computers to another computer. All I simply did is copied the application folder into "app" folder. I am not sure if migration
is possible just by copying and pasting the application folders. I am not sure if doing this messed up security with shared services. Also under c:\hyperion\essbase folder I see another text file named "SharedServices_Security_Client".

The SQL server itself is not running or TCP/IP is disabled. That can be confirmed by runing netstat and see it is listed there.
Then run telnet chandan 1433 and see it can connect

Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.

Sounds like you may need to re-download the entire albums from iTunes. See this KB article for how to download past purchases: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519.
I'd suggest doing it one album at a time. Delete one, download it from your purchase histor, then the next, etc.

Ho w to check username availability in jsp

I am doing a project in which there is a registration form where i have to check username availabitlity. When i click on the availability button the result should be displayed indicating whether it is available or not.
I have created it using ajax technique. But i want to know how it could be done using jsp and javascript.
The problem is how i could pass the username value to another jsp page without submitting the form

well why can't you use a iframe to display avalablity status...
now once the button is clicked the IFRAME is made visible and you would call controller by harcoding URL say something like...

Please help me to find view to check the catalog database name which is connected to my target database because I am new to the current environment where I am working now and the previous DBA have done the set up having 2 catalog database. I want view to check from target database, which can show the catalog database name to which it is connected to.
We can check the catalog database name from the following ways but I want views to check it from target database.
1.TNSnames.ora
2.Any backup script connecting to catalog database.
3.From catalog database we can use rc_database view to check the databases registered with the catalog database.

Please help me to find view to check the catalog database name which is connected to my target databaseYou can check for any RMAN backup jobs that been scheduled on the server.
In the scheduled script check rman command.
You can then identify the database alias (of the catalog db) that is used in the rman backup script.
Once you have found the database alias, check for the database alias entry in tnsnames.ora file present in your target database server.
Once the entry is found, you can find the IP address and catalog db name from the tns entry.

I tried to start Essbase Server many times, but only after restart Shared Services was possible to start Essbase Server with success.
     I checked the connectivity with OpenLdap (through LDAP Browser), Shared Services repository (through SQL*Plus), Shared Services and MSAD Provider and everything is OK.

Analytic Administration Services 9.3.0.1

Just to be clear... this feature works with previous releases of the database; however, there are other features exposed via ODP.NET (or available to ODP.NET) such as the client side cache which will not work with previous releases. Possibly being pedantic, but thought it might be a good idea to state that anyway.

The following example shows how to validate all datafiles:

Does this following command just check for corruption , or is it actually trying to backup the datafiles to the disks ?

as far as I know, for Forms on the Web there isn't yet a way to do this. In the upcoming release Oracle 10G Forms (9.0.4) and Oracle Application Server 10G OID can be used to authenticate against Windows domains. This way you could use SSO for what you want. I am saying this carefully because I didn't tried it but took it from the OID specs.

run it productively and it is used for testing on payroll run in the
productive client.
Solution
1. Goto PE01 and edit schema for your country. ie. DIN0, QIN0...
2. Remove the comment '*' for the line CHECK ABR.

Yes, You can have funds check at Summary account level in GL. You need to define rollup Group and define summary account and set the funds check as Advisory or absolute as the case may be in summary template.

You can use V$SESSION_LONG_OPS and V$SQL to get the long running(6 seconds or above) queries. You need to join these two views to get the SQL text.
V$SESSION_LONGOPS : Will give you the long running SQL ID.
V$SQL : Will give you the text of query against the SQL ID.
