Checkbox still disabled

Hi,
I have created a kind of form like the following:
Chackbox - Input filed
I would like the input field to become enabled when the checkbox is checked. The problem is that my checkbowx is always disabled, even when I choose enabled in the UI Element properties, and even when I bind the checkbox to a true boolean context attribute.
What is wrong with my checkbox ? I am not able to make it work properly. Any advice on the problem ?
The context attribute is initialized in the DoInit method of the View Controller. It's value is displayed using the message manager to see if it is truly true or not and it is.

I think I am really missing something. I decided to delete all attribute values from the context and restart from scratch. So I created new attributes of boolean type, changing their name.
As a result, now I got one check box working, but not the others. So I went further and realized that every checkbox enabled property was linked to the same attribute value: isCheckBoxEnabled. So I set this property to true instead of binding it to a context attribute. And now everything is working just fine !!
Any comment on the mistake I made ? Maybe this post will help some other beginners trying to figure out why their checkboxes are not enabled !!

Hi All ,
I have a raise an error message on a custom screen which has an ALV grid display (OOPS ALV) .On top of the alv grid ,i have couple of checkboxes .
I have to raise error message based on the grid display values.The problem is ,if i raise error message ,the checkboxes get disabled and i have to go back and execute again correcting the problem .Instead the user wants to be in the same screen and should be allowed to correct .I am not able to do this .Please help me how to make the checkboxes active to input again without going back ??

Build the screen with 2 sub screen areas. In the top subscreen area ( selection screen )
, Have the 2 check boxes.
You can use
selection-screen begin of screen 800 as subscreen.
Parameters : var1 TYPE c AS CHECKBOX,
var2 TYPE c AS CHECKBOX.
selection-screen begin of screen 800 as subscreen.
You can use At selection screen events to throw an error but still be in the screen without an issue.
Have the ALV in the bottom subscreen area.
In the PBO for the main screen,
Call the subscreen 800 ( selection screen)
Call the subscreen ALV .

Why is my I-tunes account still disabled?

My account got hacked a few weeks ago and they bought in-app purchases from a game called KingdomConquest. I contacted Itunes and they re-funded me. I also went and changed my password and security questions. FOr some reason my account is still disabled. I can buy anything or update anything. Could someone please help me.

If loving out then then logging in at Settings > iTunes and App Stores doesn't work then follow this procedure:
1. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID.
2. Tap your Apple ID.
3. Tap View Apple ID.
4. Enter your password.
5. Go to Country/Region in the popup window to change to the desired store.

I have the same problem with mine... but im trying to find a way to fix it without restoring it...
but one fix is to shut it down completely ... then press and hold BOTH the power button and the home button .. hold both of those 4 ten seconds .. then release the power button but still hold down the home button .. and then it'll show something that says "connect to itunes" once u get it connected to itunes , click the restore button ... BEWARE THIS WILL WIPE OUT EVERYTHING ON YOUR IPOD!!! IT WILL RESTORE IT BACK TO FACTORY SETTINGS , AS IF U JUST BOUGHT IT !!!!! then it should work fine again .. but u will lose all data on there besides the things you have synced with itunes already..
Thats y im iffy with doing this , im trying to find a fix where i wont have 2 restore it but i dont think there is 1 :'(

We are fellow users here on these forums. Have you tried logging out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then logged in and seeing if it then works ?

HT1459 I tried to restore my daughters ipod and it has a download on the itunes. I tried to open the download and that did not work. Her ipod is still disabled after the 5 hour download. What should I do now? Thank you. Sam

My daughters iPod is now disabled because of my youngest daughter trying to get on it while away. I tried to restore it as per instructions via support site. It took 5 hours to do the download. I left it over night and in the morning I found the iPod still disabled. I have a download on iTunes so I tried to click on that and it won't open. I have to admit, I am not a computer wizz here. Error 1604
This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.

I have set the presence to screen only but the checkbox still prints. I am using adobe LiveCycle design 9 and it is a dynamic form
This check box is part of an action, where when clicked, it copy's the data from one row and puts it in another. It is also in a row that can be added and removed.
But basically I want the check box to appear on the screen but not print (including when the form is converted to a PDF when its completed)

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE

Try and force it into Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.
