Checking a serial numbers status

Hello,
I'm new for PHP SAPRFC, I'm trying to make a simple PHP application that will check if a serial number is AVLB or ESTO in SAP.
I'm able to connect to our SAP database using the scripting in a box, however I have no idea how to go any further from here, could some one help me with an example how to query the status of a serial number?

Well...I don't know which function module is used for that matter, but if you need examples on how to use SAP and PHP, you can find some here under the PHP section.

Check for Serial Break Status ?

I've got a custom instrument that my research
lab uses in-house. We've been using our own
crude programs to read in data from it, but
we're looking to migrate to LabVIEW.
Each set of data points contains 9 bytes of
data that are read through the serial port.
So that it is possible to figure out one's
location in the 9 byte pattern (since otherwise
they all run together) the instrument transmits
a break.
I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how
to get LabVIEW to read the break through a VISA
session. I could use the In Port VI to read in
the port status byte (0x3fd for the generic
COM1), but I'm trying to make it so that non-
standard ports are supported.
I'm fairly sure that I'm overlooking something in
the VISA prop

I have one situation where this could be a problem, and one where it is
a problem.
The first possibly problematic situation is that I need to create a VI
for use out-of-house and I'd like to avoid requiring the user to know
the base hardware port of the serial port. While this isn't a big deal
for anyone who's messed with serial ports before, it will be for
someone who just wants to plug in the instrument and take measurements
immediately (especially for 3rd party add-on serial boards with non-
standard addresses). Is there some way to open a Serial VISA session
and then read it's base hardware address? (i.e. open ASRL1::INSTR or
whatever it is and have a VISA property node return 0x3f8)
Supposing that it is possible to return 0x3f8 when opening a
VISA
session to COM1, is it possible to use the In Port VI to read the
port's status byte without messing up the VISA session's buffer? I
don't see any reason why it would be a problem, but I thought that I
would check anyhow.
The second and definitely problematic situation is that I'd like to
make the VI portable. But from what I understand the In Port and Out
Port VIs aren't supported on any platform besides that of the x86
running MS OSes.

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police

Anybody know if I can use ARD to check the serial numbers of installed applications.
For example, I'd like to get a list of installed FileMaker Pro serial numbers by machine.

Sorry, but probably not. Most applications deliberately do not write their serial numbers in an easily accessible or readable place (it would make it easier to pirate the software), and this includes FileMaker which, I believe, encrypts the SN so that it's not viewable outside of the application.

Serial numbers are not copied to new storage location for 311 mvt type

Hi Guys
I have 10 stock of material A in 001 Storage location ,which all the quantity is serial number managed
I have transfered 10 quantity of Material A to 002 location from 001 location using 311 MIGO
But serial numbers are not copied to 002 location after transfer posting
001 and 002 are both are WM linked and belongs to same plant
Can any body suggest good solution,how it can be done

1.Check in material master whether serial number management is active in Plant data/stor Tab and serial number profile is assigned
2. Check while doing MIGO once if u enter the material and transfer qty you are getting the serial number tab or not
3. If everything is ok, then after posting the document check the serial number status in IQ09, check the stock type and the storgae location in the serdata tab

Serial Numbers are not downloading after creation of Delivery in ECC

Dear all,
As per client business process, we need to download Serial numbers after creation of Outbound delivery.
I could see the generated Serial numbers in ECC Delivery document, but those Serial numbers are not downloading into CRM.
I have already done initial download for SERIALNUMBER object and I could see downloaded serial numbers in COM_TA_R3_ID Table.
But after creation of Outbound delivery in ECC, those delivered serialnumbers are not available in CRM system, even after successful data transfer of Sales Order, Delivery, PGI and Invoice documents Information.
Kindly help me in resolving the above issue

Only 0 serial numbers entered instead of 30

Hi Experts,
I am facing one problem during Usage decision in QA32 TRANSACTION,
After saving the Usage decision , the system saying that +'Only 0 serial numbers entered instead of 30'+,
due to that i am unable to save the usage decision so that goods are not moving from Quality block to unrestricted stocks,
Inception type is 1 in QM set up view, Inspection type 03 is extra added which is not required for this material, is it causing any problem ?.
I have tried to remove this 03 Inspection type but system not allowing as there are stocks exists,
Work scheduling and Gen Plant 1/2 storage view also activated by mistakenly for this material, in these views Serial profile is assigned, which is not there for previous plant ( Rolled out to new plant), now the problem is with new plant material inspection lots, not for all, few of the lots are creating the problem(Only 0 serial numbers entered instead of 30)
I have tried to send the material return to Vendor from Quality block but not success in that,
Can I deactivate views,
Can problem be solved If i remove the Serial number profile
Can I delete inspection type 03 from the material master QM set up view
Can anybody suggest how to trouble shoot the problem

First check whether serial numbers are attached to the inspection lot or not.
Please check the configuration of the serial number profile in transaction code OIS2.

Change external serial numbers

Hello Folks,
The serial numbers at the Client place have year stamp (external numbers). here is an example of it
ex : 0988880000001
Where first 2 digit "09" is a year stamp
the next 4 digits are material code - "8888"
the last 7 digits are for pieces to procure - "0000001"
totally there are 13 digits and are printed and used as barcodes on the pieces (EAN 13)
I want to know whether i can change this format to "1088880000001" from the next year. (After midnight 31st Dec 09). if yes , how to do this and where, so that the data gets uploading in the same table as a continuation of previous entries. Would there be any inconsistencies like system cannot access previous serial numbers?

You cannot change in Mass but one by one you can change for that you will have to go into Tcode. OIS2, Check Column StkCk -Stock check for serial numbers, maintain this column as blank. i.e., StkCk = 0

with StkCk = 2 you cannot enter Stock type, Plant, Storage location if you do it, it will throw an error,
"Stock control active (profile ZXXX) for material XXXXXXXXX in plant XXXX), but you can maintain StkCk = 0 temporarily, until you complete maintaining plant, storage location for all the serial numbers then reinstate StkCk = 2.
Discipline the enduser from clicking "create serial no Automatically" then it will create DUmmy serial nos without plant and storage location.
2. You cannot delete it, but you can set Deletion Flag and you can make serial no active or inactive.
TCode Iq02 : Matserialno --> Functions --> A. Active and B. Deletion flag
Note: Be careful it should not affect other plants.

Stock check error message in serial numbers problem

Dear Experts,
In serial number profiles i did the stock check indicator to give an error message if there were incosistinces in stock data,
now this is the scenario:
after doing an external maintenance order and creating a PO with reference to the maintenance order PR, and also entering the specified serial number in the PO:
1) Goods Issuing: i used MB1B with movement type 541 and as the serial number already exist and not wrong so it didnt show any error messages and by checking the stock data in MMBE the material was in stock provided to vendor.
2) Goods Receipt: when using MB01 with movement type 101 and when entering the serial number of the material it gives an error message ALTHOUGH it is the same serial number issued and the same serial number in the PO
This is the error message :
Stock data of serial number G081 not suitable for movement
Message no. IO231
Diagnosis
The current stock information for the serial number G081 contradicts the stock information of the movement to be posted. The following stock information is valid for the document and the serial number: Batch Number Stock data Serial data C2
Only the first different field for the stock data/serial data is assigned. However, further data may also be inconsistent. To determine whether this is the case, you can start an analysis.
System Response
Two system responses are possible (set using Customizing): If the case of an error occurring, the assignment of the serial number to this posting procedure is not possible. In the case of a warning, you can, if necessary, transfer the notification.
Procedure
Assign a serial number which corresponds in your stock information to the stock data of the posting. You can display the serial numbers which can be used using Select serial numbers.

Try with MB04 t-code.
And External Operation scenario is as follows:
External Operations will be defined in Maintenance Order with control key PM02. There price will be maintained. So based on that, PR will be created for the External operations. Convert to PO & do GR for operations. I guess, here we can't do any goods issue of material to sub-contractor.
The reason is that in Sub-contracting, issue item & receiving item should be different. It can't be same. But here in our case, material code & serial number are same.
So try this process.

How to check for Auto Allocated Serial Numbers

Hi
I have chosen ALLOCATE SERIAL NUMBERS = YES in Organization Parameters Form.
I have set the Item SERIAL GENERATION = AT SALES ORDER ISSUE at Item Level.
Done with the creation of Sales Orders
Done with Releasing a SO(Auto Allocate = NO and Auto PICK CONFIRM = NO)
Done with Transacting a Move Order.
Now moved to SHIPPING > TRANSACTIONS Form
In Lines/LPNs Tab, Entered Shipped Qty and then I forgot to allocate/assign Serial numbers from TOOLS --> Serial Numbers and created Deliveries and Trip Stops.
Now the Delivery status is CLOSED and Line status is SO Form in SHIPPED.
As I forgot to allocate sno's,system would have allocated serial numbers because ALLOCATE SERIAL NUMBERS = YES in Organization Parameters Form.
Now my Question is,
How to find the serial Numbers that were allocated by the system?

What is the question?
Now you have line closed but delivery is still open?
Run this request OM > Shipping > Interfaces > Inventory Interface–SRS set debug to 1.
In requests you have Inventory Interface–SRS, Shipping.... SRS and another with SRS. I do not remember correct name now but you have to pick last one:) and set debug to 1. I will give proper name tomorrow.
Look into results and look for errors.

Check number of enteered serial numbers in sd order

Hallo,
i need to check wether a user how many serial number were entered into a SD order by the user. this should be checked before the sales order was saved.
to do so I tried to implement the logic into User exit USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP in include MV45AFZB. The problem is: All function modules I found to determine the entered serial numbers need a document number for the selection. Due to the fact, that the sales order is not saved, yet, a document number does not exist at this time.
Does anyone know a way to get access of the serial number data of a not saved sales order?

thanks for the answe but I think that I am missing something here..
In field ANZSN has how many serial numbers have been entered from Extras-Technical objects. And I want to check the numbers that have been entered if they allready exist in another sales order. And for those numbers I cannot find the internal tables that they are keeping them..

Tables and fields to know the status of Serial Numbers -reg

Which tables and fields are to be used to find whether the given serial numbers are active or made inactive
Equippment numbers are produced along with serial numbers
when i see in IQ08/IQ03 ---when i explore the field SYSTEM STATUS its showing .........
Table : RIHEQUI_LIST
Field : STTXT
but the table mentioned does not have any contenets to explore , is it a view ?
how to explore further
our requirement is out of given serial numbers which are in active status and which are made inactive
please provide required inputs
