Chnage Document

Hi All,
I'm using change pointer concept to generate IDOC for notification. I have problem in the case of Item level ( Such as Task info in notification). When User create new item there is no change document captured but when they modify or delete record change docuement has been populated. When they insert new item there is header table (QMEL) last change time field has been updated but for this field no changed document flag selected in data element. So finally i'm not able to generate idoc when they create new item for notification. how to slove this problem. Please help. This requirement is very urgent.

Hi Kumar,
use the "Event Trace" (transactions SWEL and SWELS) for checking with events where starting by creation of a new item. Maybe you can use a event for starting your creation of a idoc. You can use the transaction "SWETYPV Display/Maint. Event Type Linkages" to customize that your function or method will be started if the event was started.

    Dear SAPIENTS,
    When i do any changes in sales order, like wise quantity or material then system show shows in document flow that quantity was chnageed by this ID and it give all chnages.
    I feel for this there is setting in customizing. If i don't activate then these details will not be available.
    Can anybody let me know the path of that activation?

    Hi Kaushal,
    The setting to activate or deactivate recording of change documents is not in customizing, but at the field level. Which means this setting has to be done for each field in SE11.
    Here, put the relevant field name in radio button "Data Type", and press F7. Inside, click on tab "Components", and double click on value in column "Component Type". Here, in tab "Further Characteristics", see if the field "change documents" is flagged or not.

  • Able to attach documents when the document in closed status

    Hi,
    I have a issue related to attchments in Service Request.
    I have user status =closed ands set Chnage Document=Forbidden for that staus.
    Now after setting this Status, system is not allowing me to do any chnages in the document and that is fine.
    But system still allows to add the attchments and I want to stop it if the status is closed.
    What I need to do.

    Disable the Add Attachment button based on this document status.This way no body would be allowed to attach document.

  • Event from Change document not triggerring

    Hi
    I've used chnage document FMRESERV to track change in table KBLP-DELTAWTAPP for any value change, but although I'm chnaging amount from FMX2, the event for this chanhe document is not triggerring. Can you please help me how to resolv the issue.

    Further, check if the change pointers are activated in transaction BD61 and if the pointers are maintained in transaction BD52. If these are maintained correctly along with the flag in the data element, the change pointers should be triggered.

    Yes You can also dio this via the IMG
    Go to Transaction OMEM or Menu path MM-Purchaisng-Reporting-Maintain Purchasing Lists
    Click on Scope of list create new entry.
    Check on chnage document fields.
    Name the new scope with relelvaant name. This will now appear in Scope of list field in all purchasing list display screens.
    The output will show the deatils of the changes like date and teim of chnage, old values and new values ect.

  • How to add custom error message in standard application log of change doc.

    Hi,
    While saving chnage document I need to add raise an error on specific condition. As Error messages is being shown in application log I added custom message in include LCRM_1O_UIF15 by using BAL_LOG_MSG_ADD FM however it is not showing in the screen. What could be the reason? Can anybody please explain?

  • How to find the changes in Settlement receiver of a PM order?

    Hi Gurus,
                  Need your valuable inputs on this issue.
    I Have a PM order where in I have created a settlement Receiver.If i change the settlement receiver i dont see the chnages in The Action Log or changes.This makes it difficult to trace the chnages made if the settlement receiver.
    Where can i find these chnages ?
    Whereas if i chnage the Cost Center or Profit center i can find them in the changes or Action log in the PM order
    why is this differnce

    In My order I changed the Settlement receiver from cost center to WBS but still bo chnage was shown.
    Please suggest where to look further..and seeting to check for the same

  • File to RFC/IDOC with a set of business rules applied on every record

    Hi experts,
    i have a scenario where the following happens
    checks need to be performed
    1. Technical validations on the file picked up (Can be done through java programs)
    2. Business rules to be applied on every record (Am not sure if this can be done in PI)  Sample business rules - record id already present in the SAP system, check if some manadatory fields are missing in the record etc..quite a lot to be applied
    I assume we use the File>PI>IDOC/RFC scenario for this..
    However am not sure on how we apply the complex business rules on every record in file using PI.
    Any suggestions??

    Hi My requirement as follow,
    ELEMICA(CIDX)--->sap xi->SAP ECC,i receive CIDX Ordechange document from source system,when it is order change , the similr Order Chnage document available in DATA BASE,i need to retrive it from data base using some key fileds, i need to compare some of the fileds like PO Number,Buyer sequence number..like many fileds.if there is any change while validating then i need to send it SAP ECC Orders IDOC,IF TEH Values are same then i need to exit the process with mail to admin .
    How i done my requiremnet i already explained,if you looking for any info let me know,but i never faced any problems like perfromace issues ...but writing JAVA Maping code is bit tough.

    You can find the release indicator in EKKO  field "FRGSK"  and information about who released in table  CDHDR  by passing Object "EINKBELEG"  and   Object value  as the PO number . .  from CDHDR you will get the change document number , TCODE used for release "ME29N"  and the user name.  YOu cna pass the chnage document number to CDPOS table to get releease  status as well.

  • Stop printing purchase order changes

    We have a requirement that when the purchase order has been deleted that the purchase is not printed again as a chnage document or printed at all. I have removed the config in Fields Relevant to Printouts of Changes but even though the output fails it is still printing. How can we stop the change printin?

    Do archive your PO firstly...by this all the header details of the PO will also be deleted and so next time system will not find anything to print again and so the PO will not printed again...
    I don't suggest you to make any change in the conguration settings because if you make any change for one PO the change will be applied to the rest...

  • PM Order Change logging / OIOE

    Hello,
    Does anybody know if it is possible to enable change logging for PM orders for the text description field? (KTEXT). I understand that overall, logging is governed by t-code OIOE, however it appears that only certain elements are logged from what I have found. Perhaps I am looking in the wrong place, or perhaps this level of logging is not possible?
    Basically, I want to be able to look at a specific order number, and be able to see a log of all changes made to the order including everything from status changes to the data that was changed. Is this possible?
    From within the order itself (IW33) looking at the 'Changes' as well as 'Action Log' don't quite tell the entire story.
    Anybody have any ideas?

      Change document is enabled for the KTEXT field on the order header.Not sure why you arent able to see it on the chnage document log.
      OIOE transaction does control capturing of changes for certain elements. The field that these elements contain is governed by the change document structures associated to the objects (Transaction :SCDO. ex: ORDER is the Change document object for PM order and Networks). The data element of the fields associated to the structure inturn control whether changes should be captured or not.For order header short text KTEXT, the data element associated to it AUFTEXTwhich does have the change document activated. You could switch on change document(It will result in a modification )  for fields which arent active for logging changes on tables which are already in the change documnet object.
       Custom report is probably your only solution to access all the change documents for the order (Order header, operation, header status, operation status, material status etc) in a single screen.You could probably trying copying the action log logic and expanding on the same for everything you need.

  • PO confirmation creates PO change message

    Hi.
    I have setup a SRM -> XI ->SUS -> XI -> SRM scenario.
    Everything is working fine accept that when the vendor confirms the PO and Sends the SUS PO confirmation the SRM automatically creates a PO change message back to the SUS system.
    This causes the PO on SUS to go to "in process" state again.
    Any idea why this is happening.
    I do see this in the tracking tab under Chnage documents:
    Status:
    "Variance in PO Response Newly Added"

    I want to enhance existing table control screen (Standard)where will come under PO item confirmation tab in ME2*N transactions.This table control reference from EKES table. Already i appended customized field in this table. Now i want to add  one more column in this table control screen using any screen exits or BADIs.Is it feasible or not? if it is feasible,Pls give me further steps..

  • Inconsistencies during role update

    Hello Gurus,
    Scenario: When custom tcodes are added to an existing role and the profile re-generated, the change documents shows deletion of some other Auth Objs from the same role.
    We found that, upon the addition of the custom tcode, ACTVT 01 was removed from one of the Auth Objs and the chnage documents were showing that some other standard Auth Objs has also been deleted.
    Can anyone provide some insight on this scenario.
    Please note that just for testing purpose, we had created a test role by copying from any existing role, here too the chnage documents showing deletion of some Auth objs.
    Is this a problem, with the Change Documents , which are being displayed here. Also, would like to re-confirm if manually added ACTVT gets overwritten if a new tcode is added to the existing role.

  • Production order changes overview

    I would like to know if, in the new SAP version (6.0), is there any way to display the changes done for a production order. The same functionality as in the material master chnage documents.

    I am afraid, it is a No without OCM(Order change Management)
    We could only see the Order status changes provided relevant Stauts change settings are active in OPL8 implementation tab.
    However I guess,we can get the changes in a prodcution order with the implementation of OCM.
