Chrome/Safari browser issue
When I load a page like espn.com or facebook.com, my browser will be pushed into the background. Like when you have an application 'always on top' but in this case it's the opposite. Once the site loads I have to click back into the browser. This has been happening on Chrome, but I just tried it on Safari and it did the same thing. Anyone know what's wrong?

notice the top of application. All I did was open a new tab and put in espn.com
Look at the bubbles in the top left of the Chrome window. They're greyed out, so he's in Chrome but the front window is behaving as though there's another Chrome window open on top of it.
The member below suggests that this is because a pop-up/under is open beneath that window somewhere, but I haven't seen that happen in browsers I use (although I have a lot of add-ons to prevent this sort of thing).

If yes, log out under the Apple in the Menu bar.
Log into the Guest account.

Safari browser issue when calling Merged Webhelp
Hi All,
I am using Robohelp 8.0. I am creating a merged Webhelp project and calling the help as context sensitive from the web application using the Topic ID.
What Happens:
Calling webhelp with parent_csh.htm#<productID> work fine in Firefox, IE browsers.
When I try to call the topic in Safari browser on Mac OS, it opens the topic section correctly as shown below:
when I click the Show link on the top of the page to view the TOC, it gives me a page cannot be displayed error as shown in screenshot below:
NOTE: It still works well in Firefox on the same Mac computer.
What is not working:
* Error occurs when the show link is clicked in help page in Safari 5.0 browser.
* Same error reported even when I include "withnavpane=true" in the parent_csh.htm#<topic id> to show the TOC.
Questions:
* Is Robohelp 8.0 is compatible with Safari browsers in Mac?
* Is there a way to show the TOC of the webhelp in Safari?
* Why Safari interprets the '#' to %23 and why the link does not work in Safari alone even it works in Firefox on the same machine?
Let me know your thoughts and awaiting a resolution from sharp heads of Robohelp.

Google Chrome/Apple Safari Browser Issues with OBIEE
We are having issues rendering images, charts and dashboards in Google Chrome and Apple Safari. Everything is working correctly in IE and Fire Fox.
We are on OBIEE version 10.1.3.3.1 running on Solaris 10 and Oracle DB Version 10g.
I understand that these browsers are not supported, but I have seen several screenshots and threads with OBIEE being accessed with Chrome and Safari.
Has anyone run into this issue before and over come it? Are any configuration changes needed in order to make this work?

When i look in the webserver logs (iPlanet 7) I see that OBIEE is trying render images but appending "Missing_" to them. This only happens with Chrome and Safari. Any input would be appreciated.

Safari Browser Issue: Version 6.0.2
I am currently using safari version 6.0.2 ... and i am facing lot of issues with the browser... while trying to open any website using safari its taking too long and most of the times i am getting hour glass .... Really frustrating and when i used google chrome its working fine..

I'm getting Pop Ads via Google Chrome / Safari / Firefox all of a sudden in the last 2 weeks. I use a Mac Book Pro OS X (10.6.4). I've never had pop up problems w/ Mac before, I've been using Mac for a few years. I've also been using Google Chrome ever since it came out and haven't had any pop ups occur. However, in the last 2 weeks, I'm getting pop ups all the time. Sometimes when I click a link, it redirects me to a pop up first. My settings on Chrome are still set to "Do not allow any site to show pop-ups." However, they are still popping up. How do I stop the pop ups?

I've ran 2 different Anti-Virus programs (Sophos & MacScan) and done a full scan w/ both and it comes back as clean --> no virus / malware detected. Also, seems like i'm also getting pop ups on Safari and FireFox as well. Altho the frequency on those is less than Google Chrome. Any other Mac user facing this issue? 11:21 AMTHIS PROBLEM IS SOLVED!!! 5 DAYS & COUNTING AND NO POP UP ISSUES! I came across a blog (can't remember which one now) and realized maybe its not my Mac, maybe its the DNS (Wireless) that I'm connected to that is corrupt. I noted what my DNS address was by clicking on the Apple icon on the upper left hand corner of my laptop and then navigating to System Preferences > Network > Advance (button) > DNS (tab) on Mac. I don't know anything about how DNS stuff works, but I am in a location where there are several restaurants / coffee shops around me with free wi-fi. So, I went and connected to a different restaurant's free wifi. Then I went back and checked my DNS address and it had changed to something new. And under the new DNS address, I haven't had any redirects yet! I went back and tested all the links via Safari that I was previously getting redirected from (including this one) and no redirect issues! YAY!!! Since then, I've been using a wireless card device w/ a different DNS. 5 days later, I still haven't gotten any pop ups!!! So, I guess the issue was w the DNS (wireless) that I was using, not with my laptop. Hope this helps anyone else that may get this issue, worked for me!

The problem is not my server (Comcast) as it does not happen on Safari when trying different websites as well as Godaddy.com or my Godaddy webmail. The problem is only when using my Mac OS X 10.4.11 (not my Windows Vista PC) in Firefox. I only began noticing this recently. Godaddy says this is a browser issue with my Mac as they cannot replicate it.

I've created a simulation in Flash 8. The simulation is
working fine in IE7 but when I'm launching the sim in Safari
browser the sim is not working as it should. I'm getting some

I've seen an unconfirmed report that the "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you might need to remove it as well, if applicable.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again. -
After updating to 10.6.3, I installed the 10.6.8 update just to start experiencing these font issues. HELP! How do I get the fonts to display correctly in my browsers especially (Chrome & Safari)
What I ended up having to do was open up the Font book & remove duplicates. I knew it was Arial that was causing the problem, so I deleted the duplicate of that font. Inadvertantly I deleted all the Arial regular font, so I had to reinstall one copy. That was the solution. Thanks!

I have a jspx page with a command link. On click of link, opening a popup. Displaying a ADF table inside popup dialog.
Problem Statement : I have set contentDelivery="immediate" & autoHeightRows="8" in ADF table. while running the application in Chrome & Safari and moving vertical scroll up & down rapidly, first few rows & last few rows are not visible respectively. But if i scroll up & down using scroll arrow it's working as expected.
But there is NO issue while running the application in IE & FF and moving vertical scroll up & down rapidly.

Frame Set Flickering issue in Safari Browser( All Mac Devices)
Hello, My self Dominic Johns. I am running my various websites and having online insurance quotation facility. But I am using 3rd party Quote Link on the page in Frame set. When i am using my mac devices (apple, ipad, mac air, imac, macbook) and opening site http://www.professionalindemnityservice.uk.com/ and clicking on "Get a Quote" button its having 3rd party URL in Frame Set. When i land on this page its Flickering and showing 3rd party URL for 2-3 second and then disappear. Its having issue with only Mac devices Safari Browser. Printing issue in safari browser
I am using safari browser on my windows machine and when I give print command from browser , printed page have different alignment than pages printed in other browsers like mozilla firefox and also elements of page are not at correct position, beacuse a margin at top, left, right aotomatically gets inserted in page even if i set margin of page to 0 from browser and also in page css. please tell its solution as soon as possible.

I have an I pad Mini. Since i down loaded the new update ISO 7, my I Pad is not running certain media files either from Chrome or Safari browser. I called technical support but they failed to provide any help stating the media files may not be compctable with new soft ware. I do bnot agree with their finding because i have I phone with ISO 7 updated soft ware and same files run on my I phone but not on I Pad. This was working fine before updating new software. This device is useless for me if i can not watch the program that i bought this for. I want device to replaced or taken back by the company. Thank you

Issues opening adobe files using the safari browser
Hi,
I am currently on a website and as I attempted to open a PDF file as a download, the safari browser opened a new window which was completely black but with no PDF product.
A message along the lines of an adobe reader was unavailable, so I followed the instructions to download, thinking that possibly I need the latest version, however my OS detected that I already have a version installed. Unfortunately no change has taken place while completing the same process to download the PDF from the website, has anyone else had a similar experience? I noted nothing appeared in my download box also.
I am currently using Mac Air Book, OS X 10.8.4 if this helps.Back up all data.

Keep the same name while converting images to PDF
I am using Automator to convert images to PDF. The new images are in a different folder, but it is asking for an output file name. Can't I tell it to just keep the same name as the old file?

I used to create images in Photoshop in 1024x768 then drag them to Keynote which was set up as 1024x768px size slides. Now, with 6.1, I don't see a way to customize my slides in pixel format. Am I missing something?

Widget Disappears when testing in version 3.04?
The widget pops up on the screen then it is gone. The app continues to run, but is not visible. Any help would be appreciated.
