Circle zooming parts of image - hints to get me started

Hi!
I didn't know how to explain the "zoom" in the message title
so I'm linking to the page containing the effect I want to mimic:

Can someone give me some hints on how I could remake the
"zoom"-effect in a Flex-application? I'm not asking for the whole
solution but for some pointers on what classes and such I should be
using (bitmap, mask, cursor...).
Would appreciate some answers since I really want to do this
in Flex/ActionScript rather than Silverlight.

You would need to track the MouseEvent.MOUSE_MOVE with an
event listener on your 'shoe image'. You would use that to set the
X/Y of your 'tooltip' component that had a much larger image so
taht it followed your mouse, and translated the x/y into the other
coordinates to move the image around underneath the viewport (like
bigX = x * 1.2, bigY = y* 1.2 though you can easily calculate the
scale value from the image sizes). The viewport would be a
MaskFilter I believe. Yu would set mouseEnabled = false for the
tooltip so that it didn't accept input from the mouse, instead
passing through to the image underneath. I also believe that
example use the Move transition with an easingFunction so that it
lags behind slightly.

Just purchased CC2015 Lightroom & Photoshop following a 30 day free trial. All worked well during the trial but now I have subscribed to the plan and downloaded the latest LR version I am unable to zoom into the images and just get a constant 'loading' box and spinning circle. Also, the whole system is very slow - very frustrating! Any ideas? I am running it on Windows 8.

Can you count the beeps or flashes?
1 beep = no RAM installed
2 beeps = incompatible RAM types
3 beeps = no good banks
4 beeps = no good boot images in the boot ROM (and/or bad sys config block)
5 beeps = processor is not usable
In addition to the beeps, on some computers the power LED will flash a corresponding number of times plus one. The LED will repeat the sequence after approximately a 5-second pause. The tones are only played once.
Note: In this case, a flash is considered to be 1/4 second or 250 ms or greater in length.

Changing fill colour for partly transparent images

Does anyone know how to change the fill colour used for partly transparent images? I have a bunch of PNGs that I made for use as clip art, which I imported into iPhoto (that way I can use the media browser with Pages and Keynote).
Unfortunately, the images (which are black) are shown on top of a black rectangle both in iPhoto and the media browser. I've tried changing the background colour to both gray and black, but the 'fill' colour stays black.

There's no way to change it if you want to keep the transparency for use in other applications or web pages.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

I have a question here. Now, I have a scanned picture and if I were to save the whole picture, it is a was of disk place. Can I save only part of the picture? If yes, can I know where can I get the guides or samples regarding this.

Part of Web page not getting displayed in IE6.0

Hi,
I m facing an strange problem, my saftware was properly working in IE 5.5 but when i check it on IE 6.0 part of web page which gets loaded through a Servlet does not gets properly displayed, ie the lower portion gets hidden, to an extent of surprise if i resize page manully then it gets displayed.
i have to give demo to the client day after tommarow, if any one can help me in this context, that is how to get it rectified,

Hi,
In all probabilities thats a display problem rather than codes. Try different settings on your computer. If not try running that on someone else's comp whcih has ie6 but does not have a refresh rate problem. Even if you think that migth be code related you might try a javascript function to resize your page on the body onLoad function.

This is really unfortunate. I'm sorry that nothing works. I was going to mention holding down the power button and doing a force shutdown but you already did that. You might need to take it into the Apple store. I don't know if booting into safe mode would help. You would have to turn off the machine again, hit the start button and hold down the shift key after you hear the tone, but normally you would let go of the shift key when you see the apple logo and spining wheel. Maybe by holding down the shift key after you here the tone will cause the screen to come back on? The other option is to start up from the 'install disk' if your machine came with one. You would insert the disk, then shut down the computer, and hold down the C key right after hitting the start button.

OLE images are not getting transfered to the pdf format

After executing the oracle report file 6i and while sending the report file directly from the report screen to the microsoft outlook mail by clicking the mail option from the report, the OLE Images are NOT getting converted to the mail attachment. Rest of the data is getting converted fine.

- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
- Did it ever work properly?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.
With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.

Those aren't apps; they're bookmarks to websites. Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? If all else fails, you can just re-do the shortcuts.

Part cost   kf values are getting aggregated ......... can any one help me?

iam designing a infocube in which there is a keyfigure 'partcost'.when i execute a query on this infocube, the part cost values for a particular part id are getting summed up. but the part cost ,whether for single or 100's of parts ,should be the same.
   i dont want these part cost values in the query to be aggregated. what i should do now. declare this part cost as non cumulative kf or is there any solution for this ?
i have gone thru the sap help site, but unable to find a solution for this?
