Clear Maps from Android

How do I clear map history from my Android phone? I tried "Settings" but couldn't find "Applications" to reach the next step mentioned on other forums

Doesn't work for me. Like I said in previous email, after tapping "apps"
I get a screen displaying "No apps". Not the same as screen shot you sent.

Clear maps on device?

Hi, I'm trying to remove the maps from my device. I currently have England and Ireland. Ideally I want to remove Ireland only, but think I have to clear all of them, and reload England.
Anyway, I connected the phone and clicked "clear all maps on device". A message appears saying "maps are being deleted" and then just stays like that. The longest I've had it go on for is 4 hours, before I gave up and disconnected the phone. Anyone, managed to clear their map data?

I cleared mine a while ago... How are you connecting it when you try?
The usb cable is the slowest method... if you've got a card-reader it's quicker to use that.
The Maps are in a folder in the Private folder... if you can work out which is is, you could just delete that folder and start again (you should be able to work it out due to the file-sizes)

Mapping from nested to one table (sales order) XML to IDOC

I have to map a xml file to the IDOC SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2.SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT202.
How I can map the the longtext from the XML file to the IDOC struktur.
Part of the XML file, there could be n times BPosition with n times longtext. The longtext must be map with a table. I some case its a mapping from nested to mornal table.

Ok, so I cleared bookmarks and recents. Directions still showed. Selected search, then back. No luck.
Then I selected a new destination. The old route then disappeared from the screen, finally.
The new destination pin was blue, the old one red. While I was not able to select the red pin and choose delete, the blue pin allows for deletion.
As to my second question, I am not finding how to turn off the GPS blue pulsing locator?

1.3.5 update - lookup map from Contacts doesn't work for Sprint Nav or Google maps

Is anyone able to tap on a contact's address in order to launch Sprint Navigation? Or even Google Maps? In my case, Google maps alway navigates to *my* address, not the contact's address I tapped on.
Worse, my Pre hangs on the Sprint Nav splash screen when choosing that option -- similar to what others are noticing. I copied this from another forum, as it describes my problem as well:
I updated Default Applications to launch Sprint Navigation for addresses. It certainly launches from an open Contact, but locks up on the splash screen. It never displays a map (nor anything else), and the menu doesn't function. Completely unresponsive. If I launch the app stand-alone, it works fine, so Sprint Navigation doesn't seem to be broken. It just doesn't work launching from a contact address.
I've switched the default app back and forth between Google Maps and Sprint Navigation, and did a couple restarts to no avail.

Thanks for the feedback and link to confirm this issue. I confirmed what the other fellow wrote on that thread:
if you already have Sprint Nav open, then click the address is goes fine.
I also "fixed" the issue in which Google maps loaded but always went to *my* location. I fixed this by exorcising the unofficial Google Latitude version of Maps from my Pre.I picked up this version by following a hyperlink to the beta Latitude a number of days ago, and ever since it had replaced the regular G Maps. I was able to clear Latitude off my device by pointing the browser to maps.google.com to reload the original flavor.After that, I am able to properly launch G Maps from a contact's address field. Whew!

Resetting a clearing document from a previous financial year - Vendor Payment

Finance team needs to reset a cleared item from a previous financial year. The cheque was
never presented. They are unable to create a new invoice to pay the vendor without this cheque going
through and being processed.
However, when using transaction code FBRA they receive an error message
"clearing document from alternative fiscal year-. Message no F5A258".

There are two option
1. You Open the Close Period, or change the reversal code, which can allow alternative posting in the current period.
2. Go to the IMG - Controling - General Controlling - Change Message control. Give the message application area and then the number and turn it off. (Tcode : OBA5)

Can you access that address on the machine hosting planning?
The file structure on the web server depending on which app server you use should be something like \Hyperion\deployments\Tomcat5\HyperionPlanning\webapps\HyperionPlanning\help\en\hp_information_map\hp_information_map.html

According to a random website... the HTC Wildfire S uses a Qualcomm MSM7225 processor. This processor unfortunately does not support the full ARM version 7 instruction set, so Firefox cannot run on it.

Have you tried a reset to see if it resumes after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

How do I remove BlackBerry Maps from the OS?

I have a Z10 running 10.3 it's a great update and so far love the BB Assistant. There is one big sore point for me and that is your decision to deeply integrate BB Maps with 10.3 and Assistant.
Appologize upfront but I have to ask....Why would you integrate a lagging-edge Mapping App with an otherwise leading-edge OS in 10.3?
So long story short...BB Maps doesn't work for me. (No Walking, Mass No Transit, No Satellite or Street View equivilants.) The bottom line is that enterprise users need more than what BB Maps offers today and for the foresable future. Just supremely frustrated about this situation and feel bad because 10.3 is great.
So the question is How do I remove BB Maps from 10.3 or completely disable it. I just want it gone at this point. Please help....I'm so totally frustrated that you can't easily remove it!

Good news...Just to let you know I did find a way to remove BB Maps.
Even through it's a core app by reverting to a previous version of BB Maps I was able to delete it from the OS. iBest part is there was no impact to the OS and everything else works as normal. Please Please ...if your going to make BB Maps a core app please make sure its a world class app and it works for all Enterprise users. (Not just for drivers)
I can truely say my BB OS 10 experence is much better now without BB Maps. If BB isn't going to invest in Maps then please don't make it a core app and tightly integrated into the OS. I think at this point BB would be better off outsouring BB Maps to one of the leading Map providers such as Nokia, Mapquest, Bing/MS or even dare I say Google Maps. I think the BB community would be much happier with any of the first three.

How to remove a font file and its mapping from XML Publisher Administrator

Hello,
I am trying to remove a font file and its mapping from the XML Publisher Administrator. If this is not possible, is there a way to disable it?
The reason why I am asking this is because we just got a new check printer, and I was able to print just fine. However, the MICR font was not coming up properly on the check, so I went ahead and configured the font with the XML Publisher Administrator. Now my check output is coming up blank after running the XML report publisher program. The only change I did was to upload the MICR font and mapped it.
My template and rdf report file are working fine in another environment we have, so I know that's not the problem.
Any help is appreciate it.

Invoking a mapping from another DB in a process flow

Hi experts, have anyone try to invoke/execute an OWB mapping from another database in a process flow? Is it possible to do that?
My process flow (in the Staging db) scenario is to execute several OWB mapping in the Staging db, then the final step is to execute an OWB mapping which is created in the warehouse db.
Is that possible?

Lost bookmarks on pc, need to sync them from android to pc, reset recovery key, no bookmarks.

Ok, so here goes. I had to do a fresh install of windows 7 and was not able to back anything up before doing so because of a Trojan. After reinstalling Firefox on the new OS I attempted to get my bookmarks back from my sync account that's connected to my android phone. It let me on the sync account after resetting the recovery key (there is no way to view it on Firefox for android) I click sync now and now none of my bookmarks or history is syncing from the server to my PC. Is sync a one way street? From pc to phone but not the other way around? I really need these bookmarks... I do have root access to the phone and looked in data>data>org.mozilla.firefox>databases but I do not know how I would go about importing the database data to my PC. Is it possible to either 1. sync my bookmarks from android to pc or 2. Copy and import the database file manually? Thank you.

If you've reset the sync key then that action has removed all data stored on the Sync server, so you can't even recover it with the (correct) previous sync key.<br />
The sync key is only used locally to encrypt your data before it is uploaded to the sync server, so it is vital to have a backup of the sync key.
