Client based GWI - two appointment types in CRM70

Hello,
we use CRM70 and the client based GWI.
Is there an option to have more than one appointment type in the GWI scenario?
We need to have two different appointment types for sales and service because of different partner schema.
Thank you
Best regards
Manfred

I do not think you can use plant/shipping point in your access sequence for invoice output on header level, unless you add these fields to header level kommunication structure and populate these fields in userexit.
You can either
1. define requirement routines for your 2 output types which are mutually exclusive (if plant = A routine 1 returns sy-subrc = 0, routine 2 returns sy-subrc <>0, if plant = B routine 1 returns sy-subrc <>0, routine 2 returns sy-subrc = 0). You can assign requirements to output type either in output determination procedure OR in the access sequence. I would do it in output determination procedure. Check transactions NACO or NACE.
OR
2. add your fields to komkbv3 communication structure, populate your fields in thsi structure in userexits which are called from the function module komkbv3_fill and then you can either use then in the access sequence for your output types or create routines as in case 1. but the logic will be a simple check statement since KOMKBV3 is available in these routines.
3. In fact you can use one output type and select your layout in the print program itself... which may be even easier for you. We use this approach to select proper layout for GEOs which may have several layouts depending on region for example... so the output type is defined per country, then layout is selected by print program. (tnapr-fonam = ..., nast-spras = proper language, set country '' to use proper decimal & date format...)

  • Client based GWI - "Contact Person Sync settings"

    Dear CRM guru's,
        We are using CRM 2007 SP 2 and client based Groupware synchronization. The application version of the GWI synchronization is 3.035. In Outlook "SAP CRM Calendar synchronization settings">sync tab>"Contact person Sync settings" section, I see 2 check boxes for "Contacts of accounts where user belongs to account team" and "Delete account on contact deletions when no other contact exists". Can you please tell me what is the significance of these 2 check boxes. Is there a way I can default these 2 checkboxes, disable them distribute to the users and  make the end user not able to change these 2 check box selections. Appreciate your help here.
    P.S : I believe these options were not there in the previous version 3.027. Can I use the 3.027 application with CRM 2007 SP2 for GWI synchronization?
    Thanks!
    Vivek.

    Hi,
    There is a way to do it, but you need to migrate to latest groupware integration version 8.014,. There all properties in client are combined in a form of profile, which can be automatically downloaded to each client.
    It also automatically detect that if there is any new version of update in profile,and download the latest.
    If you do not want to upgrade, you can check which registry field is controlling the UI for those 2 properties, which you can set or reset.
    You can see all properties at location "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\CRMCalIntegration\SyncSettings"
    And export the desired reg file to end user.

  • How do automate using two output types in an invoice based on plant

    Hello,
    Can you tell me how to configure automatically two output types for the same invoice.
    My client has business in USA and Europe.We are using only one sales organization. But we need to print invoices in letter size and A4 size depending on whether the invoice is created in europe or in USA. So , I have created two output types, one for letter size and one for A4 size. How do I configure so that if it is based in a plant/shipping point in Europe it is printed using the A4  output type else in letter size. Please suggest.

  • Client-based groupware appointment / task Notes not syncronized to Outlook

    The Notes in appointments and tasks don't sync from CRM 7 to Outlook 2007 but all else does? The Notes are configured to use the Log Text Type and we need them to syncronize.

    Check under spro>crm>crm middleware and related components>client-based groupware integration>Settings for Client-based Synchronization if you set proper text id:
    - Text type for the appointment notes(DEFAULT_APPT_TEXTTYPE)
    - Text type for the task notes(DEFAULT_TASK_TEXTTYPE)

  • Unable to activate Client Profile within Client-Based Groupware Integration

    Experts - Please help us!
    We are trying to activate a new Client Profile wiithin Client Based Groupware Integration. We are receiving an error message that
    "Multiple profiles not allowed for same role, country, language combination."
    We believe we are receiving this message because there was an incomplete profile already saved in this table. We can not move forward without completing that record, however it is not editable for us.
    Has anyone run into this problem before? Any ideas how we can move forward? I would appreciate any information anyone is able to provide.
    Thank you!
    Jami Shircel

    I have one idea If you want to do this for your future records then you should create a specific transaction type meant only for GWI and assign it to groupware spro settings and that transaction type should not be used from SAP CRM WebUI. In this way all the appointment/task created in Outlook have that special TType and can be differentiated from others. Will that be of any use ?

  • Need to setup Premiere CS6 sequence for two file types with different field orders

    I have a client who has shot video for me using two cameras, one camera was set to progressive, and the other to interlaced upper field first. I need to use both file types in the edit and have been struggling to set up the sequence to get the best look for the end product, a DVD. I have several videos to do for her that were all shot in the same way, so I need a solution!
    I would appreciate help figuring out how to set up this work flow from beginning to end.
    Should I convert one of the files from the beginning so they match field orders before going into a sequence? Or do I just need to do some adjusting of the files once they are in the sequence? Is it just as simple as changing the transcode settings to favor the upper field first? I'm definitely having issues once the video is transcoded in Encore and you can see a lot of jagged edges and lines especially during movement. My client isn't happy and I've tried several workarounds, but to no avail.
    Here are the two file types I have:
    File extension: .MOV
    H.264, 1920x1080, Linear PCM, 16 bit little-endian signed integer, 48000 Hz, stereo
    FPS 29.97
    No Fields: Progressive Scan
    File extension: .MTS (my Mac finder can't read these files, but they are read in Premiere)
    Image Size: 1920 x 1080
    Frame Rate: 29.97
    Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz - compressed - 6 channels
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.0
    Upper Field First
    I am using Adobe Premiere CS 6.0.2
    Encore 6.0.1
    Media Encoder 6.0.2.81
    I am running it on an iMac 27-inch, Mid 2011
    with Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5
    Processor  3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
    Graphics  AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB
    I've just been setting the sequence to match the .MOV files since they look much better than the .MTS files. I've done the opposite as well, setting the sequence to match the .MTS files and it doesn't seem to help. I've also changed the field order of the files once they are in the sequence by changing the field options and have tried converting the .MTS files in the Media Encoder, but nothing I've done has worked.
    Any help would be so appreciated! The client I have is a photographer, so she wasn't aware of this issue when she first shot these videos. So I have 10 videos with these issues I need to get back to her, hopefully issue free! I'm struggling as an editor because my last job I was using FCP and was working with videographers who knew what they were doing, so I've never faced such problems before. Plus I'm new to the Adobe software. Not a good combination. Please forgive me if I didn't give all the information you need. I will happily respond with whatever more information you may need to help me out!
    ~KTrouper

    I wonder if you could do your edit ignoring any visual issues of the interlaced footage but keeping the different sources separate ( checkerboard edit Vid 1/ Vid 2 )
    Lock it down then export the interlaced part of the edit as a Digital Intermediate.
    Maybe Export the other source as well to the same codec. DI
    Bring them back together in a New Sequence. You wold have to deal with the black spacing.

  • Inclusion of two condition types in pricing procedure

    Dear Sir,
    There is a import pricing procedure ZIMPRT in SAP system.The client wants to include two condition types
    ZPOR= Port handling charges
    ZFCP+CLEARING AND FORWARDING CHARGES.
    iIs it possible to do so.I?
    What are the factors I need to consider for iincorporating two condition types in Import Pricing Procedure
    Regards
    Manash Das

    Hi,
    Yes you can do it & as needed you can includes two condition types {ZPOR (Port handling charges) and ZFCP (CLEARING AND FORWARDING CHARGES)} in import pricing procedure ZIMPRT. As already have condition types in import pricing procedure ZIMPRT, you need to take care following:
    1.u201CStepu201D for both condition types ZPOR & ZFCP (position of the both condition types) in which sequence and exactly where both of the conditions with in a import procedure
    2.u201CFromu201D: Which is base to the both condition types ZPOR & ZFCP for calculating further value.
    3.u201CFrom & Tou201D: What are the ranges between the steps from and to can be used to specify the range between both condition types.
    4.Both condition types ZPOR & ZFCP are preferred for manual entry or automatic.
    5.Both values of condition types ZPOR & ZFCP are needed to be given deletion option, if needed.
    6.Both condition types ZPOR & ZFCP needed accounting key & accrual key or not which further needed to be captured all related respective cost to separate G/L account( where accrual key assigned  to G/L account in OBYC t.code)

  • Using a form with two input type="submit" ... buttons...

    Hello All!
    I'm using a form to add and remove parameters for a service definition.
    <form action="serviceinput.jsp" method="post">
                   <table>
                        <tr>
                             <td><b>Level</b></td>
                             <td><b>Fieldname</b></td>
                             <td><b>Stucturename</b></td>
                             <td><b>Type</b></td>
                             <td><b>Format</b></td>
                             <td><b>Optional</b></td>
                             <td><b>Semantics</b></td>
                        </tr>
         <%
                        for (Iterator iterParameters = parameters.iterator(); iterParameters.hasNext();)
              Parameter parameter = (Parameter) iterParameters.next();
         %>
                        <tr>
              <td><%= parameter.getLevel() %></td>
              <td><%= parameter.getFieldname() %></td>
              <td><%= parameter.getStructurename() %></td>
              <td><%= parameter.getType() %></td>
              <td><%= parameter.getFormat() %></td>
              <td><%= parameter.getOptional() %></td>
              <td><%= parameter.getSemantics() %></td>
                        </tr>
         <%
         %>
                   </table>
                   <input type="submit" name="<%= parameters.addParameter() %>" value="add"/>
                   <input type="submit" name="<%= parameters.removeParameter() %>" value="remove"/>
              </form>
    The special thing about is, that I'm using two <input type="submit"...> buttons.
    The idea is, that I'd like to add one more row with attributes by clicking the "add" button and removing one row by clicking the "remove" button.
    If I use just one of them, it works fine. If I use both of them, nothing happens at all.
    Isn't it allowed to use two <input type="submit"...> fields?
    Is there an alternative? How can I implement my form the correct way?
    Thanks a lot in advance to all!

    Hi,
    Hai Tomi ,
    As swati already Explained U can try it with buttons,
    But u have to make a Hidden field and set the value of the hidden field
    with the Javascript code after pressing the button , Call a client side function which has an argument as given below
    Validate the Flag field in the JSP file
    <script language=javascript>
    function Validate(s)
    if(s==1)
         document.forms['ServiceInput'].elements["flag"].value="add";
    else

  • Use of category filters in client side GWI

    Hi
    With help from the forums, I am now experimenting with client side GWI but I cannot find any documentation that describes the use of the category filter field in the Sync properties tab of the options.
    I have already reviewed the documentation at : [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/74/49af3ab73dc363e10000000a114084/frameset.htm]
    I am using MSA 5.0 SP11 and MS Outlook 2007
    Can anyone help?
    Alternatively, can anyone point me in the direction of any more advanced config guides?
    Thanks
    James

    Thanks Rashmi
    My investigation leads me to believe that there is a bit more too it than that if I want to use this filter effectively.
    If I do not put a filter that is in both my Outlook Master Categroy list AND maintained in SPRO, it deletes the activity in the MSA Calendar. If I do not use the filter field at all it works just fine, but we need to restrict the activities flowing in the direction Mail >> Mobile
    I will keep experimenting and update this post with my findings.
    FYI - I have also found an issue with the conflict resolution which I will be raising an OSS for.
    Scenario: On the conflict resolution tab, in the Ask for confirmation when area, ALL of the boxes are UNCHECKED.
    In the Conflict handling section, SAP CRM has priority is selected.
    I would expect, therefore, if I were to delete an appointment in Outlook, it should NOT delete it automatically from MSA...but it does!
    This is just for info, but if you know anything about this, let me know and I can raise another forum thread so that the correct points can be awarded

  • Client Based Database System

    I'm trying to come out with a design for a client-based database system. i wanna create at least 20 databases all linked to one main server and i can make updates whenever i want either manually or thru the update table that will update automatically all the other databases.
    each client can look other's information on the server and get access to it as well as clients will get the ability to communicate thru the server or sub-servers within the network.
    im really confused myself how to start this and what will be the ideal shema or design to start off with.
    i d really appreciate any hints guys.
    thanks

    If the goal is disaster recovery, you want to be looking into something like DataGuard to provide a hot standby. Basically, you take archive logs from the primary, copy them to the standby database running in a physically separate data center, and apply the logs to the standby. In the event of a failure on the primary, you simply transition over to the hot standby database. You can configure DataGuard in a variety of modes, including zero data loss (though there will be perforamance and availability implications for this sort of setting).
    I don't understand the second part of your question.
    how are the tables gonna be structured? This will depend entirely on your application. You don't need anything special in your data model to use DataGuard.
    because this is a client based application...so it requires an updatable table or sourceI don't follow this at all.
    can i get some details or a shema that shows how to put these tables togetherNor do I follow this
    let's say we have one main server or source and only two other client applicationsWhat do you mean by "two other client applications"? Do you really mean applications (i.e. a collection of J2EE, .NET, PHP, etc components)? Or are you coming back to a multiple database setup with replication?

    Hi Shobhit,
    Thanks for you help.
    I have the Active X settings how you say.
    I'm using Lotus Notes 8.5
    I checked the customizing, and we have the Settings for Client-Based Synchronization
    DEFAULT_APPT_PROC_TYPE = Z000
    DEFAULT_APPT_TEXTTYPE = A002
    The transaction type Z000 is a copy the 0000.
    When I create a activity in SAP CRM and press the  synchronization button, the system creates a activity at the lotus notes. But when I create a activity in lotus notes, the system doesn't create the activity at the SAP CRM.

  • CRM Outlook client based synchronization

    Hello ,
    I am using CRM outlook client based synchronization,
    I am concern about moving to winter clock.
    Which steps and in which order should be performed on CRM and Exchange side?
    Rika

    Hi Neha and David,
    David, you are right ... you have to be employee responsible for a contact to be synched from SAP CRM to Outlook.
    Additionally information:
    - if more than one user wants to synchronize a contact from CRM to Outlook use the assignment block "relationships" and add a new relationship "has the employee responsible" and add yourself.
    - in transaction "GWIPROFILE" there's a GWI profile parameter called "DownloadContactsFromCRM" with three possible values: "Owned contact", "Contacts of Account" and "Both".
    If you set this parameter to "Owned contact" only the contacts of CRM with the relationship "has the employee responsible" are synched to Outlook.
    If you set it to "Contacts of Account", all contacts of an account with the relationship "has the employee responsible" are synched to Outlook.
    If you set it to "Both", you need to add the relationship to either the account or the contact to get it synched to Outlook. This is useful if you have several small accounts (only few contacts in the account) where you want to synch all contacts, so add the relationship to the account.
    And you have several big accounts (with many contacts) where you want to select the contacts to be synched by adding the relatiopnship to the corresponding contacts and not to the account itself.
    In our environment, we did set it to "Both" so we have the most flexible options which contacts have to be synched and which not.
    I hope this information is a bit helpful.
    By the way: we initialize the synchronization manually to have full control.
    Best regards,
    Karsten

  • Detail tabular form based on two tables

    db11gxe , apex 4.0 , firefox 24 ,
    hi all ,
    i have a master detail form based on two tables , the detail form ofcourse based on one table , the problem is i want to include a column of another
    table into the tabular form , so i have changed the query of the tabular form and included the column in it correctly ,
    but the problem is about saving data , i can not save the data , i think
    because the "mru" process is based on one table , that is because i face an error talking about "mru" process when i try to save the data ,
    Error in mru internal routine: ORA-20001: no data found in tabular form Unable to process update.
    so
    what should i do to save the data ? should i create another "mru" process based on the other table or what ?
    thanks

    Anything beyond "simple" requires that you do it yourself.  I believe that what you want is "beyond simple"
    As far as I know, you can only use the 'mru' on one table.
    (I could be wrong)
    If the conditions are right, you might be able to simplify things such that you can use the 'mru'.
    ie CREATE VIEW on the two tables.
    However, you need to understand how Oracle treats DML operations on views, what type of views can be updated, etc., etc.
    If just creating the view doesn't work, creating an INSTEAD OF trigger on the view come to mind...
    (lol) - at that point, you have already started down the 'dark path' of creating your own 'MRU'
    personal note:  triggers have a really baaaddd habit of hiding code from other developers.  you are better off, in the long run, creating your own 'mru'..
    ie a package with procedures to handle INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETES

  • Two output type

    Hi Gurus,
    I've a typical issue here.
    I've two output types for sales order .Maintain condition record ,access sequence,VOFM routines individually perfectly for both output types.
    1st output type - no multiple issue..(maintained in NACE)
    2nd output type - multiple issue.(maintained in NACE properly)
    While creating order both outputs are issued(fine).
    But while changing order, 2nd output type has to be issued but its not.
    When I debugged , its looping the entries already present in NAST table.(checking the first output type for multiple issue)
    its not and then its completely coming out of the program without checking the second output type for multiple issue.
    Is there any extra settings I've to do or its SAP bug.
    Regards,
    Ponraj.s.

    Hi,
    There are two options.
    First is, use the same output type for all the movement types. Iin the smartform itself you can put conditions
    based on movement type to call a particular window.
    Other options is in SPRO->Materials Management->Inventory Management and Physical Inventory->Print Control
    ->Maintain Print Indicator for Goods Receipt Documents. Maintain different indicators for 102 and 122 (For ex. 2)
    Then maintain the condition record for the output types WE02 and ZA01 accordingly.
    Maintain output type WE02 for Trans./Event Type - WE, Print Version - 1 or 2 or 3 and Print Item as 1.
    Maintain output type ZA01 for Trans./Event Type - WE, Print Version - 1 or 2 or 3 and Print Item as 2.

  • Multiplying two condition types in pricing procedure

    Hi,
    I want to multiply 2 condition types in pricing procedure.Kindly guide me how to do it??
    Somnath

    Hi Somnath,
    You can do that in following way
    1. Create another condition type
    2. Maintaine this condition type, after those two condition type which you want to multiply like, 10-first condition type, 20-second condition type, 30-new condition type which is multiplicaiton of first two. (10, 20, 30 are step numbers)
    3. Now write a routine which will multiply 10 and 20.
    4. Assigne this routine number in the Alt. Cal. Type filed for the new condition type 30.
    5. Now this new condition type will be caliculated based on this routine, and the value will be taken as multiplication of first and second condition type.
    Hope this clear.
    Reward if helpful.
    Thanks,
    Praveen
