Each computer is both a server and client to one another (for mutual
redundancy).
I keep getting the "Client License
Limit Exceeded" alarm on Computer #1.
Even when Computer #1 takes over all of Computer #2 I/O points - it is still
only 272 I/O points. I have two client licenses.
Why would I get this alarm?
I am also receiving this error, what I am trying to do is this;
Using two computers, both with development and runtime licenses and both running the same process gathering data from a remote PLC. There is one occasion that I need to press a button on one process (which alters the state of a flip/flop object) and have it change the state of the flip/flop on the other process. example parameters;
flip/flop name: S14_Trouble_ff
input: S14_Trouble_pb or \\192.168.100.100\process_name\S14_Trouble_pb
When I create this connection to the remote/network process, I receive the Client License Limit Exceeded alarm. Is there a way around this?

How to eliminate the alarm "Client License Limit Exceeded" in Lookout 6.0.2?
There are 18 Run Time Only Servers, with no clients, running the same application. Right after the installation of the Lookout 6.0.2 software this alarm didn't show up, but after some time it does in all the systems. It makes not too much sense to me because there are no clients at all, thus no client license was purchased and entered/registered.
How to eliminate this 'false' alarm?
Any help will be appreciated!The design is complex. Within the features, each system collects data in .csv format, and once a day moves a copy of the data collected to some place in the network. Also the systems print to file the events and alarms (once a day as well), then they are copied out with the database to the same place in the network. This folder containing the database and the events-alarms in the network is for other engineers to analize, make calculations, projections, etc. It is weird for me and for the others to have this alarm every day in the events-alarms files of each system.
Each system is independent, doesn't need to have connection with the other systems. There are no clients because the database collection is enough for us. The systems are VERY STABLE, no need to trouble-shoot (remote access), or even checking how they are working. Truly, Lookout shows a good performance with this application. By the way, the application is too extensive, complex, many different things are controlled and monitored, many different communication protocols are used: OPC servers, Serial connections, etc. General speaking, the overall result is excellent. This little, no-reason alarm is the only problem: "Client License Limit Exceeded".
I'll really appreciate any suggestion regarding this issue. -
License.Limit.Exceeded error with unlimited licence
I am getting Licence.Limit.Exceeded errors when FMS had
several hundred connections although I have unlimited connections
licence. Because of this error, FMS rejected all further
connections.

We have 4x150 users licence, set to unlimited bandwith.
We get these messages in event viewer:
Connection rejected by server. Reason : [
License.Limit.Exceeded ] : (_defaultRoot_, _defaultVHost_) : Max
connections allowed exceeds license limit. Rejecting connection to
: our_app_name/.
It appends a lot since the last few days, even before last
update 2.0.3
At the same time, when we check the administration console,
the number in the _defaultVhost is much lowe than 600, the maximum
number of user that is allowed.
Licences are all OK in the administration console.
We have to restart the Flash server service to correct the
problem.

We restrict multiple access to the same application instance
on our service.
We operate a chat using fms. We experience, from time to
time, an application instance failure which results in the entire
room participants being disconnected. The application instance
however still shows the connections to the room at time of this
failure. The problem starts to compound itself as people try to
access the room ( connect to the application instance ). After the
start of this problem when we look in the admin console the live
log for the application instance does not show any new connection
attempts nor accept or failure to connect but the application
instance registers the connection against the total connect to the
application instance. People are unable to connect to this room. As
they continue to try they increase the connection number registered
for this application instance until the point that the application
instance total connected takes us past our license limit. The
application instance seems to register and collect the connections
even though there is no connection to the application instance. We
then start to see the logging of the license limit exceeded.
Please note that there are no error/warning messages
generated in logs that indicate anything has failed. We can only
determine that a failure once we start to experience the symptoms
described for the application instance.
We have experienced this issue in the past with fcs. It was
not until the last update of fcs that the probem went away.
However, fms 2.0.0 onward has always had this issue for us.
The problem with this issue is that it is difficult to create
and study. We can go 1 hour and crash or we may have success for
over two weeks.
In an attempt to search for a solution to the problem we have
started focussing on this comment in Adobe –TechNote:

“In Server.xml, find the ResourceLimits node (around
line 181). It contains the Connector node (around line 203). Within
the HTTP node (around line 205), create a new line and insert
MaxConnectionThreads and give it an appropriate value:
<MaxConnectionThreads>20</MaxConnectionThreads>
The default is 10.”
We have found that by adding the change to our HTTP node that
we have lessened the frequency of our problem. Also, we have taken
all remoting away from the time of connection. We now accept all
connections and then do our work after connection.
Another step we have taken to minimize the impact of this
problem is to define the scope as “inst” in the
application.xml. By creating a separate fmscore.exe for each
application instance it gives us the ability to correct a problem
with a faulting application instances without disturbing our entire
server traffic.
Any further insight into this problem would be greatly
appreciated.

At present I have only two computers with Network Magic installed and I am trying to install it on a third computer. The registration indicates that I have exceeded my limit. In the past I have had it on two other laptops but had to replace the hard drives. How can I deactivate those licenses and reinstate on the three I now have?

The only way to get more Activations is to call Support, that I know of. I was told that uninstalling Network Magic does not return Activations.

We only have about 30 actual datapoints, but the PLC is handling all engineering unit conversion and alarm checking. So for each datapoint requires that Lookout set or monitor 5 real values (Hi and Lo setpoints, Engr. conversion constants, and measured value) and 3 flags (hi and lo enable alarms and alarm indicator). Which adds up to about 250 references on Modbus Plus which exceeds our 200 licenses limit. How can I get Lookout to recognoze that there are only 30 actual datapoints?? We are using Lookout V5.1
If this is not possible, how do I increase the license point limit and how much does it cost???Hello, In fact you do are using the 250 points that you mention. An IO point is not only the members for the PLC, but anything that has access to Citadel and Drivers.
Check the following Link to learn how many IO points you have. Said this, you need to upgrade your license for more IO points.

Is there a licensing limit on PDF's created in Acrobat and imported into FormsCentral?

I have been looking at the forums and also chatted with someone from tech support. I have created a PDF in Acrobat Professional. I have not enabled Reader Extensions on the file. I imported it into FormsCentral and added a submit button. To test it, I filled it out and saved it successfully using Reader 9. I also submitted it successfully using the submit button. I do not yet have a paid FormsCentral account, but see that the Plus account allows 5000 submissions per form. This is not a licensing limit, but a space limit (see http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1382). I also understand there is a 500 use licensing limit on PDF's that have Reader Extensions enabled. Does that apply to an imported PDF with no Reader Extensions enabled? Please clarify.

I have seen many discussions on these forums, as well as elsewhere on the internet regarding Adobe's licensing limit on fillable PDF forms created in Acrobat that have Reader Extensions enabled. We are only allowed to extract 500 responses from Reader Extended PDF's, according to this limit.
I wanted to confirm if this is applicable to a PDF I create in Acrobat Pro (without the Reader Extensions enabled), then imported and submitted through FormsCentral using a Plus account. You are saying that FormsCentral adds the Reader Extensions. Does that mean that the PDF is now subject to Adobe's limit of 500 on Reader Extended PDF's? Or does the fact that the PDF form is submitted through FormsCentral eliminate the limit of 500?
I just want to be sure that we can go ahead and send out a fillable PDF through FormsCentral without worrying we are exceeding the licensing limit.

VA02: Production order/ plan order not processed when credit limit exceeds

In VA02, when I try to process a Production order/ plan order from sales document , i get an information message saying that ' Subsequent function not possible due to credit block.' It is going into the incomplete logs. But as per my client's requirement, the order should be processed even if the credit limit exceeds though the message pops up. the message number is V1849. Can you please tell me how to do that?

Approval Procedure not triggered when Credit Limit Exceeded
Hi,
I've defined an approval procedure which I would like to launch when a clients Credit Limit has been exceeded. I've checked the required fields on Administration > General Settings > BP tab (credit Limit, Commitment Limit, AR Invoice, Delivery, SO). I've also checked the Activate Approval Procedures on the same tab.
I know the approval procedure has been set up the correct way, since it is launched when I change the Terms to for instance 'Total document'.
There is a system-message when I am creating a Delivery Note for a customer indicating that the credit limit for this customer has been exceeded. But still, the system allows the user to add the document without triggering the approval procedure....
What am I doing wrong?
Btw: The credit limit exceeded is in negative numbers, but I've tried both the condition 'Deviation from Credit Limit greater than 1' and Deviation from Credit Limit Less than 1...Could you clarify what you mean by "The credit limit exceeded is in negative numbers"
Negative number: the system message I get when I create a delivery note for a customer, exceeding the credit limit is the following:
Customer has exceeded credit limit - 95.479 EUR
Customer has exceeded commitment limit - 95.479 EUR
Continue (Y/N)
Make sure the Credit Limits are set in the BP Master. --> OK, credit limit is set to 100 EUR, Commitment limit to 100 EUR
Also use Great than in Ratio and try to use a small number like 10 in the value --> I am using 1 EUR
Also, check in System Initialization > General Settings..BP Tab Activate approval procedure is checked. --> it is checked.
Using the range option does not solve the problem, in fact even if I use 'Deviation from Credit Limit does not equal 1 EUR' the approval is not triggered. When I use the same Approval template, but I alter the terms to Total document greater than 1 or Discount% greater than 1 the approval is triggered.

When my slave replica connectes to the master that has just imported 3 million records I see that the replication is started and that some data is being transferred. However, it very quickly stalls and never starts back up.
The only hint to something failing is the following message:
MASTER: queue limit exceeded
I'm not sure what this means. I'm testing completely on localhost, could it be that this is too fast and that the replication is choking?

Mails to 1 particular user is getting bounced - Command time limit exceeded
I've about 100 mail clients. Since yesterday morning, I've had one user whose incoming emails have been getting bounced. I've run a "mailbfr -m user" w/o success. The server is current on updates and has been restarted. All other users are functioning correctly. Notes:
-IMAP account
-This user has a 4GB Sent folder. All other folders are under 2GB.
-This user has recently starting syncing Notes from a Blackberry.

Any help?Solved. This person was in-process of moving Blackberry notes to the imap account. There was an interruption during the transfer phase and the server's Notes folder became bad somehow. When Mailbfr hit that particular folder, it stopped the rebuild process.
I removed the Notes folder and ran Mailbfr again. The Notes folder was recreated and the rebuild function completed.
Mail delivery has been restored to this user. -

"Administrative limit " may be a SIZE limit , ENTRIES ( number of ) limit or SIZE ( output of ) limit:
From "man" of ldapsearch:
-l timelim time limit (in seconds) for search (default is no limit)
-z sizelim size limit (in entries) for search (default is no limit)
You can use these options when you search.
You may also check the setting of 3 limits above with Admin Console:
Open your directory server (name), Configuration Folder, Performance. On right panel check Client Control folder. You may see:
Size limit
Look-through limit
Time limit
Idle timeout
� The look-through limit specifies the maximum number of entries that will be examined for a search operation.
� The size limit specifies the maximum number of entries the server returns to the client application in response to a search operation.
� The time limit specifies the maximum time the server spends processing a search operation.
� The idle timeout specifies the time a client connection to the server can be idle before the server drops the connection.
If you bind as Directory manager, you may use unlimited resources by default.

Connection to license server exceeded timeout
While user login to SAP Business One, the sytem freeze after user fill in correct User ID and Password and press OK. Sometime, we will get the following error message
"Connection to license server exceeded timeout Message 60070-16"
while other time it just continue freezed until we terminated it.
It only happens in 1 client pc while other client pcs takes longer than usual time to get connected to license server. After fill in the login information, system takes around 30 seconds before display Main Menu.
I'm using SBO 2007A SP01 PL08 Hot Fix 1, so I think the SAP Note 1311510 is not relevant to my problem. I posted this message as a reply to Kapil's message Re: License Server Error but does not get any reply, so I create a new thread.

is ur system is client machine or server machine
if ur system is client machine it has to work bcoz ur server is running if ur server is not running then client will not run .
