Clients disconnect because of Capabilites change

Hi all,
recently we migrated AIR-LAP1131AG APs from a 4402 WLC running 4.1.185.0 release to a 5508 running 7.6.130.0. After we did that some clients constantly disconnected and reconnected. I strongly assume it has something to do with the additional features that were introduced between the releases.
During debugging I saw that after the client entered the RUN state that it got disconnected with the following error:

I thought the same that those devices simply are too old. However I would like to know what causes this capabilities change. We want to get rid of the old H/W, but at the moment it looks as if we would need to revert back to the 4402 in order to get those things working again.
I have not enough information, but those devices are some kind of handhelds. Their MAC OUI belongs to Newport Electronics.

through Netilla SSL VPN and I getting the following error message.

Because of a security error, the client could not connect to the remote computer Verify that you are logged on to the network and then try connection again
if I am connected to the network and use the RDP file, it connects fine.
This
was previosluly working, but when I changed the terminal server to per user
license mode from trial mode this happen
This works fine from Windows 7 machines.<o:p></o:p>

Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
From the error itself it seems that there is some network connection issue with VPN. Kindly see that you get network when you are using VPN connection, also VPN must be running. You can also try to “ping” the remote computer and see whether there is successful
ping result.
Also try to use “Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop” option on server side and check whether you can remote desktop successfully.
Apart this issue can also be caused due to certificate as VPN can’t resolve the certificate properly and facing this issue because you are facing issue only with usage of VPN (as you have commented). Please check
this link for detail.

Hyper-V 2012 R2. RemoteFx. "The remote session was disconnected because there were network problems during the licensing protocol. Please try connecting to the remote computer again."

After a Installation from Windows 8.1/windows 7 everything works fine. For example Install updates and Software. If I connect the first time a remotefx card i can use RDP as well. But if i restart the host I get the mentioned error. What can I do. These
Hosts are not in a domain configuration. I tried it too but there was no difference. I didn't discovered any errors in the eventlog, too. Only an actviex error. But same errors occurs with a succsefull rdp session.
Also strange is if i start the vm without a remotefx card it works fine again. Only session with a Remotefx card aren't possible anymore.
Is there a bug or something. I tried it many times with the same error.
Maybe someone can help me.

Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
For a workaround, please try to perform the two steps.
1. Do NOT enable RDP 8 on the Windows 7 SP1 VM. You should install RDP 8 and update the ICs though.
2. Change the connection setting on the client from "Automatically detect" to "LAN"
Please check again below thread for information.

Windows Server 2012 Used: Error Message from Windows 7 PC: Remote session was disconnected because there are no remote desktop license servers available to provide a license. Please contact the server administrator.

We are using Windows Server 2012 Standard installed in VMWare / Virtual machine and to access this we use vSphere client and Remote Desktop Connection / service was already enabled and was working fine with User PCs / laptops remote desktop into the server
2012, until it gave an error message of: Remote session was disconnected because there are no remote desktop license servers available to provide a license. Please contact the server administrator. whilst logging into the server.
We DON'T use Active Directory nor and we don't use domain and not looking to use it any-time soon.
I checked the RD Licensing Diagnoser and it says the grace period has expired and the licensing mode for the remote desktop session host server is not configured. I have checked the Remote Desktop Gateway has been stopped and I tried to start it and it
resumed to stop, here I assume its where the licensing part comes in to re-enabled this.

Also, we have a Windows Server 2012 RDS CALs - 10 (software and licence key), will the licence key work for the Windows 2012 Server Standard? We do not want to install the other Server mentioned which comes with CAL / licence key as its time consuming
to reinstall other programs. I have installed Server role service of Remote Desktop Licencing and automatically installed other associated services needed. in the RD Licencing Manager, the Server had a red cross and I "Activate Server"

I then tested the Remote desktop connection from my PC and the same error message was there and checked the RD Licensing Diagnoser and the same error messages was there. I haven't restart the services of Remote Gateway / the server itself; do I really

All my clients connected on both of servers by used Remote Desktop sessions ,5 months since.
Currently,when the clients is connected on the both of servers they received the following error:

Please let us know if you have purchased RDS CALs and install it in your RD licensing server.
Also, on RD Session host servers, please make sure that you have specified the license mode and point them to the RD licensing server.

Detecting client disconnects

What's the best way to detect a client loss of connection? I've heard
you can register for weblogic.accounting.disconnect events or used the
workspace destroyMonitor method. Which is preferred? The events method
concerns me because I don't believe it will be supported in the future
once JMS takes a foothold. Is this a valid concern? Are there any new
ways to do this?

I would suggest you try catching java.net.SocketException (Connection reset
          by peer: socket write error) in you doGet/doPost method. This is not a sure
          way though ...

Wireless Client Disconnects

I have (two) of the latest Intel 802.11n/ac PCI desktop client adapters each connected to a set of external dual antennas. Both are running Win 8.1, basically they are identical and both are less than 20ft from the ceiling mounted AP. One client seems to work fine but the other will disconnect at random times at least once a day. Once that client is disconnected it can’t see any of our SSIDs for 5 to 20 mins. But it can see other Wi Fi signals / hotspots, etc.
Average RSSI is -61, SNR is 31
We've been running the following stable configuration for the past number of months:
- One 5508WLC - 7.5.102.0
- APs-3602I all running 802.11n (not .ac) in FlexConnect local switching mode
- Prime Infrastructure 1.3
- ISE 1.1.3
We've reinstalled Windows and updated the adapter drivers...no change. It seems obvious to me that it's a client issue but how can I log and prove it?
ISE doesn't show any authentications problems. I've read through other "client disconnect" posts here and made the few WLC setting changes recommended. I’ve turned on debugging on the WLC for the MAC of that client. The WLC msglog never logs anything against the client MAC. What other AP or WLC logs or debugging can I look at?

Create an OPEN SSID and get the client to join.
Provide additional details:
1. debug client ;
2. sh client detail ;
3. What is the make and model of the wireless NIC of the client? What is the firmware version number?

Try this first - I saw a recent post where a user with the same problem after an iOS update used his Apple ID password.
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Hi,
I have been using Windows server 2012 at my company and generally take a remote access to this server. However, since last few days, I have been receiving the Error "The remote connection was disconnected because there are no Remote Desktop License
Servers available to provide a license. Please contact the server administrator".
My entire work has come to a halt because of this error as all my applications are running this server and their remote access is needed for my regular requirements.
I had tried one of the solutions proposed at one of these forums especially using gpedit.msc but to no avail.

Agree with the words of armin, please verify that you have properly installed correctly. Verify RDS Licensing service running on License Server. Verify that the client, the RDS server, and the license server can communicate by ensuring that Domain Name System
(DNS) is configured correctly on each computer. You can run the ping command from each computer to each computer using the IP address, FQDN, and the NetBIOS name. If any of the ping commands fail, verify the DNS configuration on the network.
In addition, you can also try “GracePeriod” registry setting on this path (HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\RCM) from

I am getting this error from windows server : remote session was disconnected because there are no remote desktop licence servers available to provide a licence. Please contact the server administrator.
Remote desktop Session Host Server Configuration Details:
The RD licensing Diagnoser(WIN-909xxxxxxxxxxx):
Number of license available for clients : 0
Remote Desktop Session Host server version: Windows server 2012 R2
Active Directory Domain : Not applicable
Licensing mode : Not configured
Now, Down I am getting this error as well shown by the system:

Now my kestion is :
Do I need to buy a license key of the windows server to not getting this error or it may continue appear even if I purchased the license and not configure RDS and AD.
Do I need to configured only RDS and AD and buy the license key of windows server later because I still have 55 day of trial.
Do I just buy the RDS client access license (L).
Please could you help on this, am new in windows server?

As the message indicates, the grace period for the Remote Desktop Session Host server has Expired, you need to purchase and install RDS CALs. Also, you need to configure related settings
to continue using Remote Desktop Services. Otherwise, you cannot connect to the server remotely.

1. AD is not required for RDS. However, it is recommended.
2. As you do not purchase Windows Server and related licenses as well, I suggest you contacting Microsoft sales or partner firstly.

AP1600 WPA-TKIP Clients Disconnect "Received TKIP Michael MIC failure"

Hello
Before I used AP 1240 on lot of site with WPA-TKIP without issue .
Today I try the AP1600 with WPA-TKIP but my clients are disconnected after 1 minute with the below messages
*Mar 1 04:19:46.125: %DOT11-4-TKIP_MIC_FAILURE_REPORT: Received TKIP Michael MIC failure report from the station c0d9.6241.09f9 on the packet (TSC=0x0) encrypted and protected by group key."
So At the same place and with the same Client, the same SSID with AP1240 my clients works fine with AP1600 my clients are disconnected so it's not an environmmental problem
My AP1600 is in the last IOS version and I tried the command " countermeasure tkip hold-time 0" without succes
So for me There is a Bug with AP1600 in WPA-TKIP authentification.
Have You got an idea about this problem

I made several test changing the configuration of the AP (I am not able to change de wlan profile of the machines), but none of them was successfull.
Then I made last two successful tests:
The firts thing I tried (as a suggestion by googling and TAC) was to use encryption AES (just AES, NOT AES+TKIP) and it worked good. I didnt get desconnected and anything, but the issue was that the AP is going to work with clients that have to use TKIP becuase the wlan profile on the machine cant be changed that easily for different reasons.
The last one was to go to another room where there is very few wlan signal noise around (where I was originaly testing the AP, there are a lot of SSIDs flying around).
And that was it, using TKIP on this new room work just perfect.

It is not clear to me what your issue is with not being able to sign in to your Adobe account to find the serial number. You should still be able to sign in and find your serial number if you registered the software.
If your first PC is a Windows machine you might be able to extract the serial number from it using the Belarc Advisor

After upgrading to Maverick, when I double click on the attchment I get this message "...could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that fold
