Clik My links open another window

I add a porlet named my link to my page.
How to do if user click the link, another browser will open? not in the original browser?

I tried using this code-

Normally, if the songs showed that it is purchased then it is probably already in your library. If not check out the article below to walk you through downloading your past purchases. You may also want to check to see if you have Automatic Downloads turned on so that way next time you can get your tracks without having to plug in and sync.

Wont open another window

I can only open 1 firefox window now @ the time, It wont let me open another window, and if I closed the one that's already opened, I cannot open it anymore no matter how many times I click on the icon. Please help!

"Page Up" and "Page Down" keys work. Holding down left mouse button on slider works. Also very frustrating. Can someone help

I cannot re-open Firefox, or open another window, without rebooting

I get a message indicating that Firefox is already operating and to either close the program or reboot. I cannot access the supposedly open program, nor can I open another window. I am using Windows 7. The problem repeats itself even after rebooting.

Audio stops if I open another window

Is there a reason audition 5.0.2 build 5 stops audio playback when I open another window, like Safari or a help file? This problem develops a few weeks ago.

Captivate 5: Crashes when I open another window?

I've been working with captivate 3 and 4 for years, and just upgraded to 5. Usually, when I do my Close Captioning, I open my word document with the "script" and copy and paste the captioning in. Suddenly, Captivate is crashing on me if I open another window while the captioning window is open, or if Captivate has ANY window open other than the main one. This even happened while I was editing/CCing and I needed to open an email! Ack!
Is this a known bug? Is there anyway I can keep this from happening, short of NOT opening other windows while I'm working on a project?

In Firefox 4 the cursor is placed automatically at the end of a text area.

Links opening new Windows

Is there a global setting that controls whether links in Portal
open new IE Windows. I know how to edit this attibute for URL
items in content areas, but our portal pages and portlet links
have recently began to open new windows without any explanation.

Thanks! That did indeed solve the problem. I knew the solution was simple, I just couldn't find the right "Preference" to adjust. It is certainly non-intuitive to have it under the "Tabs" preference panel -- I must have looked right at it and dismissed it as not relevant to my problem. I have now marked this question as "Solved."

I have given tabs a try -- many times. It just isn't my style. Now with this preference properly adjusted, I vastly prefer using windows-style browsing. Also, I can scroll through all the open windows in a breeze using "Command-tilde (~)", which is like riffling the pages of a magazine. Very convenient. Another problem with tabs is that all open pages have a tab visible in the top window, which means that anyone seeing the screen can see the names of all currently open Web pages. In my work environment, that is not acceptable -- I only want the top window to be visible at any given time, as it would be a security issue if random passersby walking behind my work area could see exactly which windows I have open at a particular time. In any case, I marked your answer as "Helpful" as well, since the question was already "Solved" by iBod's answer, which was posted first here chronologically.

I am new to flex and trying to learn. I am working on a small
site. the site will have a few navigation items. However one links
to another site. The rest are on the site I am using the bellow
code. What I need is between the customer info adn account info is
to add another link that opens a new browser window and goes to a

When Firefox tries to open another window, I get a failed script message: Script: chrome://tavgp/content/libs/include.js:595 and I get asked to continue or stop it. When I stop it, the new window opens. How do I fix this?

Whenever I try to open another Firefox window (by right clicking on a link or if a link tries to open a window - like printing Google maps/directions), I get a pop-up window that says a script is busy or not responding and gives me the choice to continue or stop script. The new window will only open if I choose stop script. The offending script is always: Script: chrome://tavgp/content/libs/include.js:595

That is a problem with an AVG extension or toolbar.

How do I prevent a website from opening another window

A couple of websites I occasionally visit open up a second window to a spam website. I have put an entry in my Hosts file to prevent Firefox from connecting to the spam websites, so the second window is empty. However, it's still a little annoying.
I have pop-up blocking turned on. Is there anyway to completely block the opening of the second window?
If not, why not?

Unfortunately, the link you posted tells me exactly nothing. My question is "How do I prevent a website from opening unwanted windows". These are full Firefox windows, just like you would get if you right clicked on a link and selected "open in a new window".
There are only two possible answers:
(A) To block unwanted windows, do this ________ (insert answer)
or
(B) It's not possible.
If the answer is (B) then the follow-up question is -- Why Not?

Your problem has nothing to do with the faults or limitations of a web browser.

This is the general policy on which all websites are built. Even if you try to login the same website from another web browser, you won't be able to login from the second platform either. I just check it. Tried on Mozilla and Internet Explorer.
