CO06 vs V_V2

Hi,
Could someone tell me the difference between CO06 and V_V2. Both seem to be backorder rescheduling transactions.
Thanks
GS

Hi GS
                   *Difference between CO06 and VV2.*_
V_V2  -> It is a Rescheduling process of backorders
CO06 -> It is also backorder processing but based on material .

Did you try V_V2 and checking the box Process stock transfer docs? You can read the documentation pertaining to this t.code by clicking the i button provided on the top. You can also read OSS Note 821739 - FAQ : Rescheduling Transaction (V_V2) in Purchasing.
If you want to check for few materials, then MD04 itself shows the back order STO.

  • Error in creating delivery with VL10B for STO

    Hi Gurus,
I have created an Stock Transport Order with material A. I have inputted all the header data, supplying plant, receiving plant and location.
But, when i process this STO in VL10B to create delivery document, system is givign an error message that there is no stock available to dispatch.
When we check through MB52, MMBE stock is avaialble but, system is reading zero stock.
We have also checked in MD04, material qty is assigned to the order which we have created. And there is no other order or delivery for this material.
We have also raised an OSS message, suggested to go for rescheduling or Back order processing through CO06 or V_V2 respectively.
Since there is no other order been assigned to this material, there is no question of going for either rescheduling or Back order processing.
This error is coming in Production client and this is the first time we are getting this error.
Request you to please suggest any process to rectify this issue.
    Regards,
    Praveen.

  • Sales order is seen in MD04 but not on backorder report CO06.

    Hello friends,
I went through several threads on backorder but couldn't find answers to my query.  Kindly help.  Thanks.
    - Are there any alternative to doing backorder processing ?
    - Can backorder processing be automated ?  How ?  What transaction ?
    - An MTO sales order is seen on MD04 but not seen in backorder processing (I think CO06) – so what could be the reasons ?
    - I believe SAP recommends one report to be run regularly to delete old/open sales orders – what is that and why it needs to be run ?  Does it have any affect on backorder processing ?
    - Chetan.

    Hi Chetan,
Back orders are generally updated with the help of transaction V_V2.
Let's say that you were supposed to deliver one order on 25.06.2007 but the delivery has not been created yet.
Then V_V2 would determine the new schedule line date for this particular order along with the quantity which can be delivered on that particular date.
You can automate the process by just putting the transaction V_V2 for background scheduling. This background scheduling can be done with the help of transaction SM36.
    Reward points if it helps.
    Regards
    Karan

  • V_V2 and V_R2 Replanning the orders

Have looked into the transaction V_R2 and with this transaction we see how many orders and can evaluate the order stock for a special material. V_V2 is used to make the real replanning and it seems that this can only be used for orders not yet confirmed. Is there any transaction or is it possible with this 2 transaction to also get a replanning for orders already confirmed or is it only CO06 that can be used for replanning the orderstock for a certain material.
    Motive behind the question:
The shortage of material for the moment is a big problem but sometimes it happens that the supplier has been able to supply us with shorter delivery time even though the purchase order is confirmed with longer leadtime. Our orderplanners want to have a tool to make replanning for all orders with a certain material and it should be easy to update the confirmation for these orders.
In CO06 they have to manually update order for order.
Do you have any solution for our problems ?

    Dear Expert
Will you please explain me the comparative analysis of these three transaction
    Regards
    Vinay

  • Error in confirmed qty after V_V2 update

    Hi Experts
This is a very strange issue im facing. The scenario is as explained:
The moment, there is an inward delivery in the warehouse, the user runs the rescheduling program V_V2 to update the confirmed quantity of backorders.
The problem here is, the confirmed quantity of the main item in material substitution is wrongly updated as completely confirmed even thoug the sum of the confirmed quantities in the sub items is not equal to the order quantity.
    Example:
Item 10 of sales order created for 50 NOS on 21.04.2011.
Due to material substitution, Item 11 and item 12 are generated for 20 NOS and 30 NOS respectively
    21.04.2011
Item          Ord Qty        Rounded Qty          Confirmed Qty     Item Category
      Item 10      50                    50                         20                              TAX
      Item 11      20                    20                         20                              TAPS
      Item 12      30                    30                         00                              TAPS
    Looks fine till here.
    25.04.2011 - V_V2 run by the user.
Item          Ord Qty        Rounded Qty          Confirmed Qty     Item Category
      Item 10      50                    50                         50                              TAX
      Item 11      20                    20                         20                              TAPS
      Item 12      30                    30                         00                              TAPS
Here as you can see, the confirmed Qty of the main item is changed to 50 even though stock not available.
Due to this, orders which have these issues are appearing in the delivery due list in VL10A, though they dont have stock available to deliver the goods.
I have checked in MD04, CO09 and checked every other settings related to availability check but in vain.
I even tried CO06 to change the confirmed quantities, but only the sub items are appearing in the list there.
Please advise what needs to be done.
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Marian
    Thanks for your response.
I checked OVZ9 and there only reservations, sales reqmts and deliveries are ticked for inward/outward movments.
Yes you are right that in rule 02 / RP, it considers all movements. In that case why only the confirmed qty of the main item is updated incorrectly and the sub items are not. And how to avoid this as this is including order items (orders) without physical stock also in the delivery due list in VL10A.
    Thanks & Regards

  • MTO Material not confirming Qty available as cust stock -Is co06 Compulsory

    Dear Gurus,
I created a sales order for a material which is on strategy group 50. There was no stock available while creating the sale order so No Qty confirmation could take place during Availability check.
MRP was run, and after confirming the process order Cus. Stock was available. As the material strategy group was 50 the stock was also reserved against the sale order.
but when I go Sale order procurement tab Confirmed qty is showing zero, When I do material availability check Qty available to confirm is also showing zero. what I dont understand is even though Cust Stck is reserved against the sale order why am I not able to confirm the qty.
In the procurement tab If i change Schedule Line category from cp(default: MRP) to cn(No Planning), then automatically the qty is getting confirmed.
What am I doing wrong, Do I have to do compulsorily do back order processing (co06) to assing stock to an order?
    please help.
    Regards
    Sri.

    Hi,
Please check if the stock is reserved against the customer. Secondly check your schedule line and Item category configurations.

  • ATP check in the Sale order Processing and CO06 transaction (Confirm Qty)

    Hi All,
While creating the Sale order, After performing the ATP check and saving the document i have called an user exit to make the confirmed Quantity equal to ZERO when the delivery block is set (As requested by customer). That is working fine...
But the same confirmed Quantity of ZERO is not reflecting in CO06 transaction. Its showing the old value that the value before setting the delivery block.
I have identified the table VBBE-VMENG which stores the confirmed quantity in CO06 transaction...
Could you please help me know any USER EXITS or any other solution to change the confirmed quantity to ZERO in CO06 transaction also while delivery block is set in the sale order.

  • Need to run the rescheduling job V_V2  whenever goods are received

    Hi,
Whenever Goods are received into the warehouse then the rescheduler program v_v2 need to be run only for that particular material automatically.
Any help or suggestions would really be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Sre

    Balaji,
    Thanks for your quick response.
Currently we are running V_v2 as a background job every night for all the materials.
But now we need to run it for a material for which goods are received.
If i run it as background job then it has to be run for a specific set of materials or for all the materials in the plant.
But my need is whenever I receive Goods through MIGO, I need to run V_v2 automatically for the material for which i received goods.
    Hope its clear now...
    Thanks,

  • In V_V2 the role of Sort Item by date of creation and Sort by delivery date of earliest schedule line for the Sales Orders when Material is out of Stock.

    Hi All,
    Good Morning,
I am working on once Incident for Re-Scheduling Program V_V2 where the user has requested us to change the criteria for determining the priority of Sales Document based on Sort Item by date of creation. Currently they are using the Sort by delivery date of earliest schedule line in the Variant.
I would like to know the role these both options play in the Re-Scheduling program V_V2. I would like to know the impact of both of them and the kind of testing I need to perform to study the behaviour of Sales Orders especially when the material is out of stock?
Please explain with help of examples.
    Thanks
    Farhan.

This is not that simple that an example would explain how this transaction works but I'll give you some examples.
Material A has SO1 and SO2 of 10KG each, stock is 20KG so both quantities are confirmed at today. A stock recount determines a reduction to 5KG. This program would change confirmed quantity of SO1 to 5KG and SO2 to 0KG if:
Creation date of SO1 is older then SO2 in strategy 1
1st delivery date of SO1 is smaller then SO2 in strategy 2
Material B has SO1 and SO2 with 10KG each but no quantity confirmed, stock is 0KG. A prodution adds 15KG to stock. The program would change confirmed quantities of SO1 to 10KG and SO2 to 5KG if:
Creation date of SO1 is older then SO2 in strategy 1
1st delivery date of SO1 is smaller then SO2 in strategy 2
I'm assuming a specific configuration, there are many other scenarios possible.
    regards,
    Edgar

  • Scheduling agreement qty requirement is not considered in V_V2

    Hi Friends,
We are facing a problem in rescheduling transaction V_V2.  System is not considering the requirement of the confirmed schedule lines of the scheduling agreement while carrying out the ATP in V_V2 and the available qty is allocated to the sales orders.
Ex: Available Stock : 1000 EA
    1. SA confirmed Qty: 1000
    2. Sales order created for the qty of 1000, system is considering the SA requirement and confirming the SO based on RLT.
    3. When we run ATP in sales order change, system is still considering the SA requirement and not changing the confirmed date.
    4. But when we run the V_V2, system is ignoring the SA and confirming the SO line item with PULL-IN.
Because of this SO is stealing the stock reserved for the SA. Is there a way to change the behavior of V_V2 similar to VA02, which considers the SA requirement / confirmed qty while rescheduling.
    Thanks,
    Ram

    Hi Ram,
Rescheduling of sales documents is item specific. It is not possible to reschedule individual schedule lines of scheduling
agreements. Each schedule line is displayed but only the open quantity can be rescheduled.
You can find further information in SDV03V02 documentation.
The open qty on item level will be checked becasue rescheduling of sales documents (scheduling agreements) is item specific.
Availability Check in Rescheduling is always on item-level.
    Thanks and best regards,
    Smile

  • Customer Opening Hours Vs V_V2

    Dear All,
We have special requirement, when a customer places order it has to take consideration in to the customer opening hours in to consideration, for example if the customer opens only on TUE and Thurs if he places order on Friday it has to give automatically TUE as delivered date, incase there is no stock we have standard 6 weeks date will be given by the system and this date also need to be the date of customer opening day.
This is all happing fine when we create the sales order with the fully stock, when there is no stock partial stock and when we have more than one schedule lien at sales order level it is working fine.
But when I Run the V_V2 for rescheduling the sales and stock transfer requirement transaction., that means in case if I have any stock coming in to my ware house before the date is given in the sales order schedule line, in the program it shows me confirmed date for the rest of the qty as goods received date + GR Processing Time From MRP1 from material master.
Here the problem is in this program it is not taking into consideration of customer opening hours from customer master.
This gives the new date just after the goods receive date, but I want customer opening hours to be considered that means if the customer is opened on TUE even though I receive the Goods on Friday I don’t want to deliver on Monday I want the deliver date to be Tue only.
Any Idea how can I achieve this???
    V_V2 (Standard)
The 'Rescheduling' program (SDV03V02) processes sales document items that are contained in the item directory for the material. It takes into consideration open items and schedule lines from stock transfer items, stock transfer scheduling agreements and purchase order requests (items only), referred to hereafter as stock transfer documents, for the materials.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sundu

    hello, friend.
    try this...
    1.  first, define a customer specific calendar using t-code SCAL.  this calendar can include the days the customer is open.
    2.  using XD02 or VD02, go to the Customer Master > General Data > Unloading points tab.  in here, specify the unloading point and the calendar.  (however, this may entail additional config on your part).
    regards.

  • CO06 question

    Hello,
I have a problem with entries in the CO06 transaction.
    Lets assume the following.
    1. - I have a confirmed sales order which has an entry in CO06.
    2. - I have a purchase order related to the sales order.
    3. - I have a inbound delivery related to the purchase order and a logistics invoice.
    4. - The inbound delivery has been posted goods reception
    5. - The material was done putawy into the warehouse
    6. - The outbound delivery was created, the picking was done
    7. - The shipment was processed
    8. - The outbound delivery was booked goods issue and the invoice was generated.
    9. - The entry is still in CO06 but with confirmed quantity of 0.
My question is when will this entry will disappear from the CO06?
The following findings are not the root cause.
    1. - The shipment is not completed
    2. - The "check item availibility" was carried out a second time
Ah. I have found a correction report called SDRQCR21. This report deletes all of those not correct entries in CO06.
But unfortunately this is not the root cause it is just like at the doctors getting some aspirins for traffic accident.
    Looking forward to your answers
    Uwe

    Uwe,
It is hard to say at this point what went wrong.
Notwithstanding you aspirin analogy, SAP acknowledges that VBBE (sales order requirements table) becomes out of synch with the other order tables from time to time.  Since 1999, when I first began working with SAP ver 3.1, until today, SAP has not stopped this from happening.  SAP continues to support SDRQCR21 as a solution to resolve certain cases of inconsistancies.  There are a boatload of OSS notes on the subject.
Many companies schedule this report to be run on a regular basis.
