Code coloring error in HTML5 templates

Is it just me?
In both HTML5 templates (two or three column), that one can select after select 'New' from the 'File' menu the code is all grayed out after the browser conditional:

Code coloring is fine up to my indicator ##HERE## above, after that all grayed out till next end HTML commnet '-->'.
I can fix it, lamely, with the comment you see above, ""
If the line <script ...>...</script> is removed from in between the conditional tags everything is fine.

Just put a blank html comment  after<! [endif] ->, the problem will disappear, the color will appear

We have 3 admins that work on the website so we use the Check In/ Check Out feature of DW. We all have DW CS6.

When I go to the url of the template http://www.christophorushouse.com.au/Templates/chrv-main-template.dwt it says it's been (re)moved or renamed, but then I have a feeling you can't view/access a template this way. All pages of the website feed of this template.
Any help would be appreciated.

Dreamweaver CS6 and Coldfusion 9 - Syntax Errors & Code Coloring

I recently purchased Dreamweaver CS6.
Also, I'm running Coldfusion 9 on Windows 7, but that's probably irrelevant.
The issue is that Dreamweaver keeps on marking my files with syntax errors, and the code coloring gets all messed up.
For instance, such function would indicate an error due to the #var#:
<cfoutput><script>functionXYZ(#var#);<script><cfoutput>
But this would work just fine:
<script>functionXYZ(<cfoutput>#var#<cfoutput>);<script>
The issue is that I have entire pages wrapped in cfoutput, redoing everything would take months.
Or this would break the code coloring for the entire select as such:
<select <cfif test eq 'test'>class="test"</cfif> name="selectbox">
While this breaks the code coloring for the closing cfif as such:
<select class="<cfif test eq 'test'>test</cfif>" name="selectbox">
I'm getting syntax errors on thousands of my files, I understand that I could rewrite the code slightly to remove some of the error indications, but these are not actual errors so I feel that there is no point of me spending months updating the code.
Is there a patch that I can apply so that this would work without any of these issues?

Background image displays locally in HTML5 template but not when published

I have used an excellent HTML5 template which uses JavaScript to display background images. However while this file works locally it doesn't when published. The site structure is sound and I notice this happens with the source files I downloaded also so it's nothing I have done in my build which could have caused this.

I realise you posted your question a couple of days ago but it looks like your background image issue may now be fixed?
In any case, your site has a few issues. Not sure who told you the template was HTML 5 but they might be yanking your chain. There is nothing HTML 5 about the code used and the DOCTYPE is from HTML 4. As such, some of the code you have used is throwing up errors - some related to the DOCTYPE and some where you haven't closed the tags:

It would be best to amend the errors but some might disappear when you add the HTML 5 DOCTYPE in to your code. Things like your lack of "type" on the sources is a required v4 attribute, but not in v5.

EDIT:// It seems that the DOCTYPE is the 5 version on all but the home page so you may only have one to correct. However, there are still no HTML 5 elements used to take advantage of the new DOCTYPE.

DW cs4 - something changed - font code colors

Hello
[history ] I have been using DW CS 4 for 16 months.
[Question ] Sometime in last two months the font code colors changed and are mostly blue. I would like the code to have the variety of colors that it once had which made reading code possible.   When I've checked my code preferences I don't see anything which has changed.
About the same time I have been getting an error message (maybe a red herring to code color issue)
"this page contains some SWF that may not work properly in the most recent versions of Internet Explorer.
Dreamweaver cannot convert them to the new SWF markups. Please delete each of them and insert again."
However pages from same site that don't have SWF error are not having homogenous code color.
Elsewhere when I searched the error code someone suggested looking at extensions. The only extension I remember specifically adding to dreamweaver in last few months is

However ---
DW cs4 code color still is off.
It seems that a possible cause was not the swf issue (as I first asked about) but something with ASP coding.
I say this because when I remove the asp comment at the start of a product page (examples below) .   Yet I don't know asp or DW library well enough to conclusively say this is it or just a hack. I'd prefer best practice option.

in ths case some scenarios are working good. proxy to soap, idoc to soap and jdbc to proxy, proxy to jdbc all are working with out error.
but my problem is in Soap to RFC case..
for all RFC communication channels are working but some time it is throwing RFC_COMMUNICATION_ERROR and messages are stucks in smq2 with retry.
when i check with retry error with in sxmb_moni log showing ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED with error code 400.
not for all signals for few signals for some time..
Why it is happening i can't understand.
in repository it is saying Repsitory object hmi failed and address already in use.
is there any problem with loading IR objects.
Please suggest me good suggestion for this type of issue what can do for this to resolve.

Adding code-coloring to file with nonstandard extension

I have PHP files that end in .ctp, which are basically HTML templates with PHP mixed in (as part of the Cake PHP framework). I'd like them to be parsed for code coloring the same way that the PHP files are, but the text is all black. Is there a way that I can tell Dreamweaver to parse it for PHP code coloring? I have already added ".ctp" to the list of file types that open in Code View using DW's Preferences.

Nevermind - I figured it out from here, you just have to edit an XML file to include the new extension that should be treated as PHP:

Javascript error from DW Template

I got the javascript code below from a css template in
Dreamweaver. It's the code to control which submenu links are
displaying in a horizontal menu bar. I'm getting at Object Required
error from the line in bold.

First thing - there is no *bold* for those who are reading
your post from

Second thing - it looks to me like you are using the HALO
menus on this
page. Those menus were removed from later releases of DW
simply because
they were awkward, goofy, and not best practice. Would there
be a chance
for you to replace them with something a bit more
"contemporary" and less
"quirky"?
Finally, it is not really possible to diagnose your problem
from this
snippet of code - can you post a link to a page that displays
the error
message?

Code Color Scheme

Is there an easy way to change the code color scheme to a
black background in Dreamweaver MX 2004?
I would like to code in a color scheme much like gVim with
the darkblue color scheme.

Hello all,
I am using the IMAQ Match Pattern 4 to detect the rotation angle of a template image. However, it shows the error: "Error 1074395241: The template descriptor does not contain data required for rotation-invariant matching." What is the problem exactly? How to solve this? The details are explained below.
My project is a little bit complicated. Part of the block diagram containing the IMAQ Match Pattern 4 is shown below:
The source image is a series of frames of images read from an AVI video (I used a for loop to process the images frame by frame). The template image is a selected region of the first frame. So it means, the user selected the object of ineterst in the first frame of the video, and in each of the following frames, we need to find the matched object of interest & determine its rotation angle. When I run the block diagram shown above, it does not have any error. However, it shows the rotation angle as zero no matter what it "really" is. Therefore, I changed the block diagram by adding the parameters, shown below:
But in this case, when I run it, it shows the error that I have indicated in the subject line.

Go to labview Help>>Find Examples and you can search for example.
-You have create template with angle range and what type of pattern matching you want use.
-For this you have to use IMAQ Learn Pattern before using IMAQ Match Pattern 4

Hi all,
I have found a error "Error Code :-5002 Error Message :Enter valid currency , '51100000-01-001-01'" while adding the DELIVERY document.
I have made a customer and assign then "EURO" currency and add delivery document then it prompts error.
Could anyone solve this problem. is there any setting which i am missing..??

Error code -22: Error while registering

Hi Guys.
I'm new to NW Mobile 7.1.
I'm able to run developed applications and see data on physical devices (PDAs).
I'm also able to deploy and run the same applications on the NWDS Client (Simulator) BUT SEE NO data, because It can't sync.
My question is very simple: How can I set up NWDS Mobile Client (Simulator) so I can get data?
When I get to the Device Information screen (NWDS Mobile Client Simulator),values for Device Name and Device Id are blank
After a sync, the folowing messages appear on my console:
Windows XP

I know that it is a must to setup a Device Name with one that exists in DOE (then Device Id is assigned during registration with DOE). But how can I place a value on Device Name? Should I set it up? then, Is it by copying a .propierties file under a MI/Folder or something?
I can't navigate my applications on the simulator so I need to deploy the files to a physical device every time I build, and this obviously takes more time than just running it on the simulator.
In just a few words, it is driving me nuts.

Hi,
if you have used MI7.0 you expect: sync a device and it is registered. This does not work in Mi7.1
In MI7.1 you need to create a device for a user first, before you are able to sync and get data.
To do this, open the Mobile Administration Portal in MI7.1, go to Administration and create a device for your user. Once this is done, you need to Enable the device.
If the device is enabled, in status INITIAL and has the correct user assigned, you can sync this device with the MI server.

Itouch 3rd gen not recognised in Windows vista but ok in itunes (code 10 error)

Windows Vista pc running latest itunes. pc will recognise itouch 3rd gen in itunes but not in explorer. device driver posts a code 10 error. checked for update driver, response in latest driver installed (digital camera). Need help to be able to download photos in itouch.

Thanks IIIaass, I have checked to see that the Vista pc hase the lastest driver (confirmed latest drivers, incl MTP USB drivers) and tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes no luck.
I am having the same problem on another computer running windows 7 - itunes ok but code 10 error as well. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes on this pc as well - no luck.
Any other suggestions?
