Code highlighting for page with .master extension

Hi,
How do I get Dreamweaver to highlight the code of .master
pages just the same as it does with .aspx?
I've looked through the help docs.
Please advise, thanks.

Highlighting Current Page with CSS

This morning I post my first Dreamweaver/CSS site. It is for
a DVD I produced about infant massage. www.BabyBabyOhBaby.com.
What I'd like to do is highlight the current page in the
navigation bar using either a border or color change. I've found
some sites like

Is there some way within Dreamweaver to accomplish the

From the menu bar, select
           ▹ System Preferences ▹ Network
If the Network preference pane is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Then click the Advancedbutton and select the Hardware tab. Select
          Configure: Manually
and
          MTU: Custom
Enter an MTU value of 1280.
Click OK and then Apply. Test.
You must apply the change before it takes effect.
If the issue is resolved, experiment with higher MTU values until you find the highest one that works. The higher the MTU, the better the network interface will perform.
If changing the MTU has no effect, restore the Configure setting to Automatically.

How do I add a filter in JFileChooser for files with no extension?

Is it possible to have a filter with that filters out files with no extension in a JFileChooser?
Any help is appreciated.

When you override accept(File), get the filename from the File object, and parse out the extension. I don't remember there being an easy way to get the extension besides looking for a dot and parsing. If there's no extension, accept it.

How to generate web services for OAS with wsdl extension

Hi,
I wanted to know how to generate web services from Oracle Application Server especially with .wsdl extension and with document/literal style.
I know that earlier there was a tool called SmartConnect from BEA WebLogic.
But that will work only with ALSB (Aqua logic Service Bus). I guess that ALSB has been renamed as Oracle Service Bus by Oracle after the acquisition of WebLogic. My question is what is the new name for the SmartConnect Tool from WebLogic, which generates wsdl very easily from Oracle database.
I am unable to know the new name for SmartConnect and how to download that tool from Oracle web site.
Also, I want to know, whether there is any other way to generate the wsdl from Oracle, if so, please let me know.

Recommendations for page with many movies?

I have created a page with iWeb that has over 20 mini movies on one page.
They are all small and the whole site (which consists of this one page) is less than 4 MB, but it pretty difficult to scroll through the page (slow moving).
I'd love to hear some suggestion on how to do what I'm doing in a better way so that scrolling through the page wasn't such a problem.
Any ideas (or different programs) would be greatly appreciated.

Having all of the videos on the page in that manner requries them all to load as the page loads. That's what making the page so slow.
One method is what I've used in this demo page: PhotoPresenter Animated Slideshow Themes.
How it's done is described in this demo page: Opening Item in a New, Precisely Sized Window.
However, both my site and yours require the viewer to have Quicktime installed on their computer. Roddy's iWeb for Musicians site has several pages of video players that work with both PCs and Macs. Some are:

AutoVue applet return HTTP response code: 403 for URL with chinese characte

Dear All,
When i integrate with AutoVue Server 19.3 Using AutoVue applet into my web application it returns the following exception
java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: http://.....
when the file name have chinese characte,but when the file name have no chinese characte and all the normal

There are many possible causes of a 403 error. Is this error happening when launching the applet, or does the applet launch properly and the error comes up when loading the file? How do you have AutoVue integrated to your web application? Is it integrated using the AutoVue ISDK? Or are you passing filenames into the applet in a different way? Can you clarify again, does the error only occur when the user tries to open a Chinese filename?
Also, please note that AutoVue version 19.3 is no longer under Oracle Premier Support. If possible you should upgrade to the latest version of AutoVue, especially if you end up needing to log a Service Request to Oracle.

Change default program for files with no extension

I've got a file called TODO. Just TODO, not TODO.txt or anything like that, there is no extension.
I want to open all files with no extension in MacVim.app. If i right click TODO, select Get Info, change to MacVim.app under Open with, and then click Change All, this is what I get:
"Are you sure you want to change all similar documents to open with the application "MacVim.app"?"
I click Continue.
"An error occured while changing the application that opens "TODO" because not enough information is available. Do you want to open "TODO" with "MacVim.app"?"
This is useless! Any ideas as to how to make it work?

3 years later i'm still occasionally getting that annoying 'doh, what do i open this with' message. macs are getting dumber all the time.
i guess apple thinks windows got it right associating the extension with the app.
and half my 'change alls' don't stick either.

Adding code-coloring to file with nonstandard extension

I have PHP files that end in .ctp, which are basically HTML templates with PHP mixed in (as part of the Cake PHP framework). I'd like them to be parsed for code coloring the same way that the PHP files are, but the text is all black. Is there a way that I can tell Dreamweaver to parse it for PHP code coloring? I have already added ".ctp" to the list of file types that open in Code View using DW's Preferences.

How do I log a support call for Pages with Apple?

Hello,
Sorry to have to ask this question here because I suspect it has been covered and I'm searching wrong. Anyway I'm on the Apple support site trying to log a call for some erratic behaviour when Pages tries to sync with iCloud. It seems that no matter what I end up having to enter the serial number of my hardware. Well first off this is a software issue and not a hardware issue - I've been to the Genius Bar and they believe it is Pages failing to sync with the iCloud. I have had both the iPad and the iPhone replaced during the issue and still the same problem. Secondly I have two devices affected by the same Pages behaviour
Ok so after going around in circles for quite some time and becoming quite frustrated I thought I would come here for some sane suggestions. The first of which I fully expect to be an explanation of how to log a software support call Is there anyone out there who can advise me on how to log my issue please?

Export settings for best quality for pages with letters etc.

Hi, I am trying to make video of a musical piece, featuring the score of the piece with pages turning following the progression of the music. I made the video in Adobe After Effects CS5 and exported it so it would be lossless. The video itself is a .mov file and looks great when I view it in Quicktime, but when I import it into FCE the quality goes down a bit. I don't know if FCE is handling the clips correctly or if it's just for making it quicker to view. Any suggestions on export settings from FCE for best quality of a video of this nature, so that the notes are clearly readable.

Under "Sequence" and in "Settings" and in the tab "Render Control" I have: Frame Rate: 100% Resolution: 100%.
If that is what you were referring to... but under the tab which is called RT and is located left of the timeline and left of the timecode. There I have checked : Safe RT, (Playback Video Quality) Dynamic, (Playback Frame Rate) High.
There might be a way to import the clip in better quality (so it doesn't downgrade the quality).
Was mostly trying to find out with the export but it might have something to do with this.

Wrong breadcrumbs for pages with same topic

I have built a helpsystem via Robohelp 7.
When I use the same topic for several pages the breadcrumb
gets incorrect.
An example:
The Book titles are: My Account / Create an Account / FAQ
The Page title is: What is metadata
And the topis is: What is metadata
...the breakcrumb is: My Account / Create an Account / FAQ /
What is metadata (nothing wrong here).
But, if I use the same topis for another page:
Example:
The Book titles are: My Account / Account Settings / FAQ
The Page title is: What is metadata
And the topis is: What is metadata
...the breakcrumb is: My Account / Create an Account / FAQ /
What is metadata ("Create an Account" should be "Account
Settings"!!??).
Anyone who knows how to fix this?

In addition to what my fellow Adobe Community Expert Peter
offered, how about a possible workaround?
One way you might work past this would be to create redirect
topics for each page that appears in multiple places in the TOC.
Essentially, you would never truly link to the page directly from
the TOC. Instead, you would link to the redirect topic that would
point at the page.
You might give that a try and see if it works. In thinking it
through as I type this, I can see where it may fail. But you might
try it with one or two pages and see if it works.

Default text editor for files with no extension

If I double-click on a file with a name like README, the Finder opens the file with TextEdit.app. I can easily change which editor is used if the file had an extension (e.g. if it was called README.txt or README.html), but without an extension, OS X had no way to set a preferred editor. If I open this from the terminal I can set the EDITOR environment variable, or use open -a appName, but my question is about the Finder. Thanks!

Safari 5 for windows with multiple extensions installed crashing

I installed Safari 5 on my Windows PC running XP PRO with SP3 ; I also had Firefox installed and was using multiple extensions and add ons there. After using Safari 5 for a day or so I installed a number of extensions. Two were also installed on Firefox; Feedly and LastPass; no idea if this has anything to do with anything.
Shortly after this I started having problems with both Firefox and Safari crashing. Eventually uninstalled Firefox until I got Safari stable but I haven't been able to do that . It's still crashing every 30 " or so, sometimes more often. The error message says "Safari has encountered an unexpected difficulty and needs to close." When I click on the "Details" link it says Error Signature App name Safari.exe

MareksGreg here was getting symptoms that sounded a bit like Hedi's (Flash not working):
10 minutes earlier I was thinking about this and I tried to uninstall 2 of 3 extensions I got.
I uninstalled "Sessions" and "Awesome Screenshots". And it worked.
I think that the update for extensions I did last week occurred this problem not the extensions themselves.
Now I installed both of extensions back and everything is alright, like ebfore.
It looks like an extension-related problem is likely to cause a user-account-specific problem too.
