  • Collection strategy not picking up BP

    Hi,
    I have set up the business partner and linked it to the FI customer.  This customer has open items to the value of u20AC2.1 million.  I also set up the collection strategy and set it up to pick up amount to be collected of >u20AC2000.
    However when i try to simulate the collection stragey i get the following message - no open items found (UDM_BUPA_TRANS_DATA150).  as a result nothing is appearing in the worklists.
    can anyone help with this?
    Thanks
    Eoin

    Hi ,
    In addiiton to wat ravi has mentioned  check the date onw hcih worklist is being created and whether it satisfies the collection sstartegy , this you can check it by using simulation of the collection strategy before the creation of worklist .

  • Dunning by dunning procedure and collection strategy

    Hi All,
    Have some questions around dunning.
    1. Can dunning by dunning procedure and collection strategy coexist in the same company code - if this cannot be achieved by config can it be achieved by development - can we have something like account determination IDs of X to use dunning procedure, account determination IDs of Y to use collection strategy?
    2. If the answer to 1. is no, can one company code use dunning procedure and another company code use collection strategy?
    3. What is SAP's (or any other proven) recommended approach to migrate a production system utilising dunning by dunning procedure to dunning by collection strategy?
    Cheers.

    Have a look
    SAP-ISU will be used to carry out initial collection activities. Initial 1 or 2 reminder letters (based on the customer type, Live or Closed) will generated from SAP-ISU. Thereafter, the account will be managed in Tallyman. Thus, all the subsequent activities, such as sending further reminder letters, sending debt to collection agencies, carry out warrant activities and taking customers to court will be carried out in Tallyman system. During the time, the account is in Tallyman, no dunning activities will be carried out in SAP.
    There will be daily interfaces from SAP-ISU to Tallyman to update Tallyman of Accounts that have passed a certain dunning level in SAP-ISU and any changes to the account that are currently being managed in Tallyman. Similarly there will be interfaces from Tallyman to SAP to update SAP of Accounts, that have been marked for write off in Tallyman. Fees and Charges that have been applied in Tallyman, for example court fees, warrant fees etc.

  • Collection strategy: one customer in multiple company codes

    Hi,
    we look into CM at the moment and have the following requirement:
    There is one customer who has business with different companies (company codes).
    the collection for these kind of customer should be based on the customer across all companies and not within each.
    If customer ZZZ is in company code 1000, 2000 and 3000 and it would be necessary to have only one collection specialist on this customer across all companies.
    How would you do this?
    Thanks  + Regards
    Hein

    Hi,
    You can create a new collection segment containing all the required company codes and assign that segment to the customer profile to be used for this customer.  This would enable you to assign the same specialist and same collection strategy.  In your process receivables you will get the consolidated data for this customer.  However when you process it, you will get individual detailed receivable due for individual company codes.

  • TCODE to update collection strategy on contract account

    Hi Experts,
    We have some accounts for which collection strategy was not populated at the time of move in. Now we want to update collection strategy manually. Transaction FPCCU does not allow changing collection strategy from blank to new value. I think there is some other tcode as well which allows changing collection strategy and master data group. If anyone is aware of that transaction please let me know.
    Thanks in advance!!

    Ravi,
    Try Transaction code FPCG.
    Thanks,

  • Place  value from Forms building in the collection Render Settings.

    Hello,
    I build a XML form with Forms builder. In one field you can select a <b>project-date</b>. Is it possible to export the  the value of this field in a LayoutSet?
    I used the standay LayoutSet <b>ConsumerExplorer</b> and would like to place the field <b>project-date</b> in this LayoutSet.
    I think you have to do this in the <i>Collection Renderer Settings -> Collection List Renderer Settings -> Displayed Properties.</i>
    The extra code that a placed in the Displayed Properties is: rnd:app_date(contentLink.)But still it is not working.
    Can someone help me with this or send me a link.

    Yes thanks Francois, I know perfectly well how dispatchCustomEvent() and WHEN-CUSTOM-ITEM-EVENT works, but please read the full context to understand what it is, that I actually ask about. Maybe a modification of your code (which is not possible in reality) can better demonstrate what I try to do.
      private void dispatchErrors(String message)
        log(message);
        try{
          CustomEvent ce = new CustomEvent(m_handler, THE_TAG_CODE);
          m_handler.setProperty(THE_TAG_CODE,message);
          returnValue = dispatchCustomEvent(ce);
          System.out.println(returnValue);
          catch (Exception e)
            e.printStackTrace();
      }In Forms
    DECLARE
       eventName varchar2(30) := :system.custom_item_event;
       eventValues ParamList;
       eventValueType number;
       tempString varchar2(100);
       returnValue varchar2(200);
    BEGIN
       IF (eventName='THE_TAG_CODE') THEN
          eventValues := get_parameter_list(:system.custom_item_event_parameters);
          get_parameter_attr(eventValues,'THE_TAG_CODE',eventValueType, tempString);
          select 'Returned from Forms ' || tempString
              into returnValue from dual;
          return_value_to_java(returnValue);
       END IF;
    END;Result: the Java console prints "Returned from Forms" + the parameter sent from Java originally.
    Does that make it more clear?

  • Collection Strategy in Collection Management

    Hi,
    client has a requirement to create a Collection Strategy so as to view the Collections Worklist by 90+ Days.
    I observed that for each company code there has been configured one strategy.
    The company code which has requested for this new requirement also has only existing Strategy P2100 which is configured as follows:
    Overdue Period 1: 1 To 30 Days
    Overdue Period 2: 31 To 60 Days
    Overdue Period 3:>=     61 Days.
    Now I have a few doubts in this.
    (1) In order to create the new Worklist 90+ days do I have to create a new Strategry OR is it enough if I change the existing strategy as above by adding like this:
    Overdue Period 3:61 To 90 Days.
    Overdue Period 4:         90 +Days.
    Also is it sufficient to make changes onl,y in Process Strategies? Is there any other assignments which I have to make so that this worklist is available to requisite users?
    Kindly respond at the earliest.
    Thanks and Regards
    Pradipto.

    Hello,
    Worklist is assigned to collection group, customer which are exist in that group worklist will generate on basing the strategy assigned.
    As per SAP standard you cannot create a worklist for customer with 90+ days, but only you can add collection rule in the strategy, on basing that as criteria  worklist will generate with priority as per valuation points defined.
    as per my understanding from your question please check with your business whether new criteria need to added in the collection  strategy for 90+ days  ? if so, check the valuation points for that 90+ Days & add to the existing strategy.

  • PPDS Optimizer does it use strategy settings at all

    Hi. Does the PPDS optimizer use the strategy settings at all? in foreground DS planning board or background?
    I am thinking not as changing any of the settings does not seem to make any difference.
    eg block use or block ignore, it still puts orders into block.
    Thanks

    Hi Sven,
    Thank you for your answer.
    The logic behind using bitmap index in the dimension table is the ability to use several indexes together.This is also possible with normal indexes. in fact the CBO might decide to change aon or more normal b*tree indexes into a bitmap index on the fly and combine both, if this is a sensible/fast way.
    >
    So if I run such a query
    select *
    from dim_tab1 d1 on d1.id1 = fd.id1
    where d1.dim_col1='value1'
    and d1.dim_col2='value2'
    It will use both indexes, the one on dim_col1 and the one on dim_col2.
    I noticed now that this query doesn't work as expected as well, which confirm my belief that the problem is not in the query it self but in the DB configuration.
    Thanks
    RonI doubt that it is a configuration issue. But possible is everything.
    The problem is often that it is very difficult to predict how many values are returned for two different filter criteria. And especially not if these filter criteria are on another (dimension) table. Also for your tests it might be important whether the query gets the 'value1' literally as it is written or as a bind parameter ( dim_col1 = :1).

  • FSCM-COL: Problems with the Collection Strategy

    Hi,
    We are configuring our collection strategy and we have a collection rule that is based on the following basic rules:
    - BR00000002: Total of All Items Overdue Since n Days
    - BR00000004: Total of All Items Due within n Days
    Now, the problem is that no workist is generated for those rules
    We check the FI-AR system and the customer/business partner does have open invoices that match the conditions that we definined int UDM_STRATEGY transaction for that strategy and collection rule.
    Do you guys have any idea what could be the issue ?
    PS: We are on ECC 6.0 an package level EA-FINSERV => SAPKGPFD10
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards,
    Bruno Sousa

    Hi Mark,
    Thanks for your feedback.
    The transactional data was transfered from FI-AR with sucess. I was able to check it on table UDM_COLL_ITEM.
    The problem seems actually with those rules....
    For instance, we tried by adding the basic rule BR00000008 to our "Collection Rule" and, afterwards, by adding tou our "Collection Strategy" (on transaction code UDM_STRATEGY) and if we put the condition to catch all amounts the simulation indicates that the worklist will be generated with sucess.
    Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Dunning by collection strategy

    Hello Experts,
    I would like to know where we can make this choice for a company code to have either Dunning by Dunning Procedure or Dunning by collection strategy.
    Thanks for your attention
    Regards
    Venkat

    Hi,
    If the debt collection process is too complex, and huge coding needs to be done to map the business process, then you can go for dunning by collections strategy.
    If you want to use dunning by collections strategy, you need to implement BRF (Business Rule Framework) in FI-CA.Thru BRF, you can set up your own collections process as per your requirment with minimal coding.It is a sort of flexible dunning.
    Thanks,

  • Dunning by Collection Strategy Benefits

    When migrating a Production System utilizing Dunning by Procedure to the Dunning by Collection Strategy, what are the benefits of choosing the Dunning by Collection Strategy versus continuing with the Dunning by Procedure?
    Is the Dunning by Collection Strategy all inclusive of the features within Dunning by Procedure and it includes other, added benefits or do you lose some functionality while gaining other benefits added with this new feature please?

    James:
    Here is a [document|https://service.sap.com/~form/sapnet?_FRAME=CONTAINER&_OBJECT=011000358700001227122009E] which might answer some of your questions.
    In short form, collections strategy allows for usage of more flexible criteria in determining the right action at the right time.  When done correctly, it should be more easily maintainable and more usable by business and business analysts than using dunning procedure.
    Benefits would be reduced data maintenance due to not changing dunning procedure whenever customer master data changes -which is usual part of dunning procedure solution.  Also, getting away from a linear, defined beginning and end point, prcess and moving to a dynamic, approach which can be started or ended at any point based on rules.
    Other features only available with collections strategy: capacity balancing; champion challenger, business rules framework.
    regards,
    bill.

  • FI-CA dunning by collection strategy

    Hi Experts,
    I need to implement dunning by collection strategy, but there are a few things that dont know yet and I need help for do this.
    1. If i want to use dunning by collection strategy, I need to use BRF, but its necesary use Collection Management (I´m not using industries solutions)?
    2. The dunning run (FPVA & FPVB) will call BRF if field "STRAT" is filled in contracts accounts. What "event" has to be activated for this (besides 315)?
    If anyone can give me any tips for this, i will be grateful.
    Thanks in advance.
    Jorge

    Hi Rakesh.
    1- Its not necesary to use Collection magament to work with Dunning by collection strategy (If you use only FICAX).
    2- Event 315 will call BRF Event, and with that you will be able to use dunning by collection.
    Hope this help you.
    Regards.

  • MySite Host Site Collection "Site Settings" Menu and sub-site creation

    Seemingly by design, users are able to create sub-sites on the MySite Host site collection when the configuration instructions here are followed: Configure My Sites in
    SharePoint Server 2013
    To be a little clearer, as instructed, I've created and applied a subsite-creation user policy to the web application hosting the MySite host. Presumably, this enables sub-site creation in personal MySite site collections. Perfect.
    Except... this also enables creation of subsites on the MySite host itself.
    If a (non-administrative) user clicks the cog from the Newsfeed page, the scope is the MySite host.
    The "site settings" link leads to the site settings of the MySite host.
    There, in the  "Sites Administration" section is "Sites and Workspaces".
    ...and there, is the option to create a new sub-site at https://my.contoso.net/. -_-
    How might I avoid this undesirable state of affairs? I would like to give users the ability to create sub-sites in their own MySites, but not on the MySite host via the Newsfeed page. Is this possible?
    I think I can. I think I can.

    This is definitely possible - So you enabled self-service site creation in Central Admin per the configuration instructions. Did you also create a user policy on the web application?
    In my tenant non-admins do not have access to click site settings on the mysite host (They can click site contents, which redirects to the personal site collection). Also, they do have access to click site settings on the personal mysite site collection
    though.

    I did some testing and figured it out, I think. Mind you everything worked properly, users just had access I didn't want them to.
    I did enable self-service site creation, and I created the user policy on the web application as per the instructions. I then discovered users had access to site settings on the Newsfeed page: https://my.contoso.com/default.aspx
    The only site setting they had access to was subsite creation: https://my.contoso.com/_layouts/15/newsbweb.aspx , but I didn't want them to be able to create subsites on the host, just in their personal collections.
    Deleting that user policy removed their access to subsite creation on the host, and still allowed self-service site creation, and the creation of subsites in personal collections, so the question now is:
    Why are we being directed to create that user policy in the first place, when it doesn't appear to affect personal sites at all?
    I think I can. I think I can.

  • KM UI Settings sort folders last in collection renderer

    I'm using a NewsExplorer layoutSet for showing KM content.
    Items in a folder are sorted by descending modified date, but subfolders are always shown in the first positions.
    Is there any way, in collection renderer settings, to sort subfolders in last positions?
    Note: assigning order manually is not an option.
    Thanks in advance.
    Esteve

    Hello Esteve,
    usually it should sort the objects according the parameter settings in the collection renderer of the layout set.
    Not much I could say here.
    But, if the renderer is not the one you mean it is, it could have a different sort order.
    You can verify it by activating the Debugging Settings.
    Go to - System Administration - KM - CM - User Interface (show advanced options) - Debugging Settings - WdfProxy - Enter your user ID into "UI Superusers"
    From now on you will see an additional link on your portal sites in the browser named "Rendering Information".
    Browse through the information of "Render Object" displayed there.
    If you want to remove the additional link "Rendering Information", just remove your user id from the debugging setting.
    Anyway, only those users entered their will see the debugging link.
    Hope that helps you to analyze your situation. If it helps, rate me.
    regards
