Com.bea.bpm.papiws.OperationException_Exception: Invalid comparator
Hi,
I am using my studio papi wsdl - http://localhost:8585/papiws/PapiWebServiceEndpoint?wsdl,
and using interface PapiWebService i am trying to abort the instances
for a particular process with a filter condition i.e. customer id as '111000'
I am getting below said exception:
com.bea.bpm.papiws.OperationException_Exception: Invalid comparator

at $Proxy27.processesGetInstancesByFilter(Unknown Source)
its working fine when create instances using 'processCreateInstance' of PapiWebService interface but when i am trying to 'processesGetInstancesByFilter' of PapiWebService interface its failing.
Any thing I am missing in this?

I was able to rectify the exception by pointing to dev papi wsdl instead of local studio papi wsdl.
However I have a small issue.
Below is the java code where in I am passing the processid and filter params -
ProcessIdSetBean processidBean = new ProcessIdSetBean();
processidBean.getProcessIds().add(_processId); // Process Id being set
SearchScopeBean searchScopeBean = new SearchScopeBean();
FilterBean filterBean = new FilterBean();
String variableId = "";
String variableValue = "";
if((null != filterParams )&&(filterParams.size() > 0 )){
for (Iterator iterator = _filterParams.keySet().iterator(); iterator.hasNext();) {
FilterAttributeBean fltrAttributeBn = new FilterAttributeBean();
fltrAttributeBn.setComparison(Comparison.CONTAINS);
variableId = (String)iterator.next().toString();
fltrAttributeBn.setVariableId(variableId.trim());
variableValue = (String)_filterParams.get(variableId).toString();
fltrAttributeBn.setValue(variableValue.trim());
filterBean.getAttributes().add(fltrAttributeBn);
searchScopeBean.setStatusScope(StatusScope.ONLY_INPROCESS);
searchScopeBean.setParticipantScope(ParticipantScope.ALL);
filterBean.setIsMatchAll(true);
filterBean.setSearchScope(searchScopeBean);
InstanceInfoBeanList instanceinfoBeanList;
List<InstanceInfoBean> instances = new ArrayList<InstanceInfoBean>();
try {
//instanceinfoBeanList = papiWebServicePort.processesGetInstancesByFilter(processidBean, filterBean);
// instanceinfoBeanList = papiWebServicePort.processGetInstances(_processId);
} catch (OperationException_Exception e1) {
e1.printStackTrace();
I am able to retrieve all the instances for a process id by using 'instanceinfoBeanList = papiWebServicePort.processGetInstances(_processId);' but when I am giving filters and retrieve instances using 'instanceinfoBeanList = papiWebServicePort.processesGetInstancesByFilter(processidBean, filterBean);', it is always giving me 0 instances.
Have verified in engine db and workspace, there are instances available.
Am I missing to set any params or configuration.
Thanks,

Hi
Which event queue should be used if an external application wants to post a message
to wli to be consumed by an event node?
com.bea.wli.bpm.EventQueue vs com.bea.wlpi.EventQueue ????????
I am using WLI 7.0 and tried with com.bea.wli.bpm.EventQueue but the event node
doesn't seem to be consuming the messages at all.
With com.bea.wlpi.EventQueue, the messages are being consumed but the event node
is not necessarily waiting. Moreover com.bea.wlpi.EventQueue is not listed at
all in the weblogic admin console.
Any comments
-Thanks
SreeramHi Sreeram,
The WLI_BPM_Event (com.bea.wli.bpm.Event) queue is the default event
queue for BPM. Here is a link that describes how to take a JMS message
and deliver it to BPM process engine:
http://e-docs.bea.com/wli/docs70/devclient/jms.htm
Cheers,
Chris

BR//MarginHi,
I changed my jvm from sun jdk to latest jrockit and the issue was solved :) -
How come my credit card says invalid security code when I put my code in at the App Store? I have a bunch of free apps when I had my ipad 1 now I have 2 and my credit card will not be read as authentic Watson ever I tried my girls card nothing do I need to have money on it for a free download? I even bought a couple of games but why with so many free ones? Please help me I'm slow so walkit through with me thnx also my ipad 2 is brand new out da box and I accidentally updated to 6.0 without finding out first about it so some pointers to it would help ...which I think that it has something to do with it.
Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
For iOS I would expect an updated version of the manual to appear here at some point : http://support.apple.com/manuals/ipad/
In the meantime there is this : http://www.apple.com/ios/whats-new/ -

Best RegardsI have deployed CF 9 on WebLogic 10.3.4.
The K2Encrypt error occured when I was accessing the CF Admin page and I would get blank pages. The workaround to that was to change the adminconfig.xml setting of <unsetupwizard> to false. Everything seemed to work, but then when I accessed the Coldfusion Collections page then I would again see a blank page and the K2Encrypt error in the exception log.
The K2Encrypt class is provided by the verity.jar which was being picked up, although not properly it seems, by ColdFusion in its class path.
As of 8/15, support at Adobe confirmed that this was an issue after they replicated the same problem. They stated that they have escalated this to their engineering department. -
When I invoked New Project -> Oracle Service Bus Configuration Project wizard the following problem occurred:
The selected wizard could not be started.
Plug-in "com.bea.alsb.ui" was unable to instantiate class "com.bea.alsb.ui.wizards.NewALSBContainerWizard".
Google search found discussions that date back a year or so, but nothing helpfull.
Used Oracle generic installtion for 64 bit envirnment.

BEA 8.1 Team,
Is there any limitation on BEA Repository such as number of nodes, etc.
I have a serious production issue. All i could see from the LOG file is the stact trace which i have posted it here.

Thanks in Advance,
-Nach.Hi Dragan,
First of all we need to put some debug (System.out.println) to findout exactly which object reference is actually becoming NULL. From there only we can start diagnosis on this issue. that's the root. It should be very easy for your Developers to put some debug on that...because the NullPointerException is being thrown by your code...I m not Blaming on your Code... WLS may be responsible for that...but first of all we need to find out Which Object is becoming NULL.
Thanks

Hi,
I am currently using WLI 2.0 SP2 installation. Here is a very unusual thing I
noticed. Can somebody tell me what is going on ???
1 : I have set up the security realm as indicated in the config.xml file. As far
as I understand, the caching realm entry has attribute pointing to the wlpiRDBMSRealm,
which is a RDBMS implementation from the WLI 2.0 SP2 distribution.
2: I start the server, open the WLS console, and create a new user through the
console. I get no error message and it seems to work fine. ( I also click on the
save it to database link, and it returns with msg that cache is refreshed ).
3: I see an entry in the fileRealm.properties file, but no record is inserted
in the WLSUSER table in the database.
Since the RDBMS realm (from WLI distribution) is defined as basic
realm implementation, should it not insert entry into the database, instead of
the file realm.
Is this a general problem ( any RDBMS realm ) or is it specific to the WLI ?
Is there anything that I have not configured here that is causing this behavior
Is it just refreshing the cache instead of inserting record in DB ?
Why should it insert entry into fileRealm.properties ?
Thanks,
Girish
[noaa1.zip]Hi,
I turned on the caching realm through the WLS Console, (Security).
After this I get a very unusual error, which seems to be comming
from the RDBMS implementation class (from WLI 2.0 SP2 distribution).
Here is the msg that I get while WLS server boots (the WLS server boots ok, but
WLPI does not initialize) ....

Jar file for com.bea.xbean.util.XsTypeConverter
I am using weblogic 10.3.5 I used clientgen to generate java classes for a webservice and a few classes are using the class XsTypeConverter.
I have imported weblogic.jar but it says package does not exist com.bea.xbean.util.XsTypeConverter.
Where can i find the jar file for this under weblogic?
Thanks,Thank you so much for the reply.I have included all the jars you suggested.I could not find wlfulclient.jar in my weblogic home but there was
wlclient.jar so I included that but face the same error.
I used weblogic 10.3.5 clientgen to geberate the java classes then why is it that the classes it uses cannot be found in the same version.
where jar will have the file com.bea.xbean.util.XsTypeConverter.
I have searched a lot on internet but not able to find anything.Please help -

"C:\LocalProgFiles\Bea\xkit" (where the file xbean.jar is located) is included
in the CLASSPATH. Also the environemt variable XMLBEANDIR is set correctly to
"C:\LocalProgFiles\Bea\xkit".
Has anyone an idea, what is wrong?
Thanx in advance
StefanHey, Stefan:
I am having the same problem as you were but I'm using Eclipse and I think I've set up the environment properly. Except I cannot, for the life of me, figure out where the Package, "com.bea.xml.stream.MXParserFactory", either resides on my computer or is located for download or is included in some other utility.
We found an example that used the following code:
System.setProperty("javax.xml.stream.XMLInputFactory","com.bea.xml.stream.MXParserFactory");
So, I included that line just before I create a new instance of the XMLInputFactory, which I have included here:
XMLInputFactory factory = XMLInputFactory.newInstance();
When my application tries to execute this statement I get the error below. Am I supposed to have this package on my computer? I don't even have a bea directory. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you,
Patricia

Hi All,
*Environment:
Weblogic Server: 10.0.1.0
Workshop Studiio: 1.1.0.0
Aqualogic Service Bus: 3.0.0.0.0
Linux: 2.6.18-53.e15 x86_64
ANT: org.apache.ant_1.6.5
JDK: jdk150_11
All my services are JMS based, so all the JMS destinations has already been created and tested using a different utlity written in java which sends a messages to the jms queues and recieve those messges, so i am sure my jms destinations are already there.
*Problem:
1 - I can use alsb console to import the config.jar without any problem, even though the jms destinations are reflecting older addresses i.e. jms:localhost:7001/connfact/queue (my dev)environment, where as my to be environment is different physical host with address like jms://abdhost:7099/connfact/queue.
2 - When i try to apply customisation using a customisation file i generated from my dev environment and changes the jms locations according to the to be host. the customisation operation failed complaining about 'Failed to lookup connection factory <factory name>'.
in the weblogic console the error is
[JAM] Warning: failed to resolve class com.bea.wli.sb.transports.ejb.Jws
<ERROR> <ConfigFwk> <BEA-390109> <Failed to notify session listener com.bea.wli.sb.transports.WLSArtifactDeployerImpl for operation beforeSessionActivate on session weblogic
com.bea.wli.sb.transports.TransportException: Failed to lookup connection factory <factory name>
*Same Problem using ANT on hudson:
I am also running same process using ANT build script on hudson to kick off build which imports alsb configuration, using already created config.jar, into alsb 3.0.0.0 already running on linux. The ANT script runs WLST import.py and export.py script, copied from the weblogic tutorial, to import configuration into alsb 3.0.0.0, but failed with same error.
I am not sure if this error is only related to missing jar which is missed during weblogic startup and in my ant script. If so, can someone tell which jar to use unless its a BUG and already been addressed as this is pretty old version i am using.
PS: dev and tobe environments have same weblogic build so i had already checked that.
Many thanks for your help!
salHi,
Is there any update on the above issue?
we are also facing the same issue. please provide solution if you have something.

Get the following error during application deployment in a ALDSP only Domain. Note this error happens only when the application contains a jws file exposing a Dataservice as a web-service:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/bea/wlw/runtime/core/bean/SLSBContainerBean
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass0(Native Method)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:539)
at java.security.SecureClassLoader.defineClass(SecureClassLoader.java:123)
at weblogic.utils.classloaders.GenericClassLoader.findLocalClass(GenericClassLoader.java:480
SOLUTION:
=========
Add the following two jar files at the begining of the classpath in the startWebLogic.cmd file of the domain.
%WL_HOME%\common\lib\log4j.jar;%WL_HOME%\server\lib\knex.jarHi Binu,
Unfortunately, deploying a web service created in WebLogic Workshop 8.1 to a WLS 9.1 server is unsupported.
The only upgrade path available is to upgrade you 8.1 workshop webs services to a Workshop 9.2 web service and deploy to a workshop 9.2 server.
You can do this with the current WLW 9.2 Beta.
Also, this forum is primarily for the BEA Workshop Studio line of products. Please post all WLW 8.1 related questions only in the weblogic.developer.interest.workshop newsgroup at http://newsgroups.bea.com/bea/forum.jspa?forumID=2041&start=0

Com.bea.xml.XmlException error for "could not create child element"
In Workshop 9.2, after I created a project with XMLBeans Builder Builder against the xsd's and created a web service control against a wsdl, I inserted the control in a client project for consumption. However, when calling into a method of the control, I got a com.bea.xml.XmlException, saying "could not create child element" for an object parameter passed in the call to the method. The relevant info in the server console looks like this:
Caused by: com.bea.xml.XmlException: could not create child element 'wirelessPhoneNumber' for Wrapped XMLBean operation on '<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8
"?><m:sendSMSMessage xmlns:m="http://service.xyz.com/provider/mobile/abc/sendSMSMessage/200701/"><ns:behaviorVersion xmlns:ns="http://service.xyz.com/entity/message/2003/">0</ns:behaviorVersion><ns:custNbr xmlns:ns="http
://service.xyz.com/entity/party/2003/">Hello</ns:custNbr></m:sendSMSMessage>'
Does any have an idea what this is trying to tell me?
Thanks in advance for any help,
JasonLooking into it further, I think it's the parameter wirelessPhoneNumber, which is a complex type from xsd and a java object passed to the call sendSMSMessage, that is having a namespace problem, or other problem.
This parameter object was from XMLBeans java binding. I created and set it up like this before passing it to the call:
PhoneNumberType phoneNumberType = phoneNumberType.Factory.newInstance();
phoneNumberType.setFormat(PhoneNumberFormatEnum.FREEFORM);
phoneNumberType.setFullNumber(phoneNumber);
Obviously, com.bea.xbeanmarshal.buildtime.internal.util.XmlBeanUtil.createWrappedXBeanTopElement of XmlBeanUtil.java had a problem creating a wrapper element for it.
Any clue from anyone?

Getting A com.bea.control.ServiceControlException When Calling External WS
Here is a little background.
Running WLI 8.1.5
Created a jcx/control from an external WSDL
Using the control to call the external WS.
However, in WLI my JPD just freezes/hangs for a few mins and returns the following exception.
Exception : java.lang.ClassCastException: com.bea.control.ServiceControlException
There is no record of my JPD hitting the external WS (checked logs on that side).
Any ideas on what could be causing this?

OEP 12.1.3
Following the instructions in 4 Adapters (12c Release 1 (12.1.3)) I have created a custom message converter bean for my Outbound JMS Adapter (I had to add the JAR file com.bea.wlevs.adapters.jms_12.1.3.0_0.jar from OEP_HOME\oep\modules to my project to make the code compile). However, upon deployment, I ran into a class not found exception:
<Sep 15, 2014 7:17:19 PM CEST> <Error> <org.springframework.osgi.extender.internal.activator.ContextLoaderListener> <BEA-000000> <Application context refresh failed (OsgiBundleXmlApplicationContext(bundle=CreditCardTheftDetection.AirportCreditCardTransactionProcessing, config=osgibundle:/META-INF/spring/*.xml))

I have tried adding the JAR file (com.bea.wlevs.adapters.jms_12.1.3.0_0.jar) to my deployment JAR. That did not make any difference.
Does anyone know why this class OutboundMessageConverter is not found - and more importantly: what I can do to make it available in the run time?
thanks.
LucasTo make a package available to your application at runtime for OEP, you will need to add it to the application's MANIFEST.MF file to the Import Package section (since the OEP server is OSGi-based). There's no need to supply a version number, you can just enter the package name (e.g.)
com.bea.wlevs.adapters.jms.api,
