Hi,
Please find the code Below
Define the variable W_amount as character:
data: W_amount TYPE p LENGTH 8 DECIMALS 2 VALUE '10000.00'.
data: w_amount(10).
Then write the below statement
write: w_amount to w_amount no-grouping.
This statement will move the value of w_amount to w_amount without separator.
Hope this helps.
Thanks

On the bright side, it sounds like most of the database calls are implemented as stored procedures, so there is an opportunity to do it right (in Oracle terms) in the stored procedures.
I did a similar conversion a while back, converting bad SQLServer procedures to good Oracle procedures. Everyone said "Oracle is much faster that SQLServer"

  • No updation of group currency values for the materials.

    Hi,
I have an issue while creating material Master, and I am unable to get the values in Group Currency field in the material master record.
    Please help me on this.
    Thanks in advance,
    Satish

    Hi Ben Li,
I don't konw the fields who you are talking about.
I did such developpment but i did not search in BSEG or MSEG table i do directly the conversion in the BW user Exit.
I look up the currency converion from TCURR table based on the date of the movements.
Each time i propose this solution to my customers they accepts because there is no difference withdirect value generated by SAP. And with this tecnic i can do the same for reevaluation movements. 2LIS_03_UM and Balance 2LIS_03_BX.

  • Display Currency Value of User POV for Entity & Value in Text Box (Header)

I am looking for a function in Financial Reporting Studio that operates the same as the HsCurrency function in Smart View. This would allow batch reports displaying the currency value of the User POV for Entity based on the User POV for Value. Right now I have to have Member Lists for separate reports and different currencies as I am only able to display the Value dimension in the heading of a given report. Users will not be certain of the currency if the Value dimension is <Entity Curr Total>.
I tried the HFMCurrency text function, however the entity is not defined in a Row / Column / Page reference as the entity is determined by the User's Point of View.
Is there a way to display the currency value of a User's Point of View for Entity based on the User's Point of View for Value?
Reference from Oracle Hyperion Smart View for Office, Fusion Edition, User's Guide:
    HsCurrency
Data sources: Financial Management, Hyperion Enterprise
HsCurrency retrieves the currency value of the specified dimension member. Entity and Value are the only valid members for the HsCurrency function.
    Syntax
    HsCurrency (“Connection,Entity;Value”)
    Example
In this example, HsCurrency retrieves the entity currency where the currency for the East Sales entity is USD, and the currency for the UKSales entity is GBR. The EastSales entity displays USD, and UKSales displays GBR.
    HsCurrency(“Comma”,”Entity#EastRegion.EastSales;Value#<Entity Currency>.”)
    HsCurrency(“Comma”,”Entity#EastRegion.UKSales;Value#<Entity Currency>.”)

  • Extractor 0EC_PCA_1: incorrect value for BALANCE field for USD currency

    Hi Gurus/Experts,
We have a standard extractor in ECC side: 0EC_PCA_1 wherein USD currency (CURRTYPE/Currecny type = 30) is giving out a sum value for Accumulated Balance field of -300,962.66 for Plant A. I checked on its corresponding EUR value (CURRTYPE/Currency type = 10) it is giving out a sum value of +4,060,629.43 as shown below.
    Plant
    Fiscal year/period
    Currency Key / Type
    Accumulated Bal(BALANCE)
    Plant A
    2011/005
    EUR / 10
    +4,060,629.43 <--Balance is summation value
    Plant A
    2011/005
    USD / 30
    -300,962.66 <--Balance is summation value
Logically thinking, if we sum up all of the accumulated balance and result is +4,060,629.43 in Euro, it should appear also as +USD after summing up the accumulated balance in the corresponding currency. But given this scenario, we are getting a negative result for USD value. I already checked the exractor on how is the Accumulated balance is being populated on ECC side but unfortunately, did not find any luck. I was not able to validate the records of Accumulated balance with the source table GLPTC as I don't have that much experience on the ABAP side.
    As for my questions:
    1. How is the currency conversion works on this extractor for Accumulated Balance field?
    2. How is the value for Accumulated Balance derived?
Please take note also that isue rises at ECC side so I did not include the data flow on BW side.
    Thanks!

Decided to use Generic Extractor on GLPCA

  • F4 help values for currency key field in table

    Hi all,
I have added currency and currency key fields in my Z table. For the curreny key field, i have assigned the standard data element WAERS. I have implemented Table Maintenance Generator for my table. But the F4 help values for the currency key field is not appearing when i tried to maintain table entry.
Should i need to check the Foreign key check box for the field attribute? But this check box is in disable field in screen layout.
Could someone tell me how to solve this issue?

    Hi,
Make the check table of the currency field of your Ztable as TCURC,which is the master table of Currency.Inside the domain of the field you write the TCURC as a value table.and make foriegn key relationship with the TCURC table.

  • CALCLATED KF SHOWING DIFFERENT VALUES FOR DIFFERENT CURRENCY TYPES

    Hi Experts
When I am executing the query( On a Multi provider) with the selection of Company code, controlling area, WBS ELEMENT, currency type I am seeing two different values (XXXX EUROS and YYYY EUROS)for a formula for total variable cost when i select two different currency types( CONTROLLING AREA AND GROUP CURRENCY)
I have two currency types called CONTROLLING AREA CURRENCY and GROUP CURRENCY(BOTH IN EUROS).
This WBS  element is not having any sales document. How can I see the exact value for this WBS element in the R3 side.
Is there any possibility that the same dataelement TOTAL VARIABLE COST have different values when i execute with differnt currency types in the selection screen.
In what approach can i proceed from R3 side  to the query to solve this issue. on the R3 side when i see in FB03 (settlement posting) for this WBS it is balanced. I am seeing only partial posting for this in the Query
Could any one help me to solve this.
    Thanks in Advance
    Best regards

    Hi Rajesh,
I guess the holiday which was configured in Holiday calendar (Holi) is not declared as Paid holiday in Public Holidays-Holiday Calendar.
Goto SCAL - choose Public Holiday - change mode - look for the holiday (Holi) configured - change mode again - lookout for 'Public Holiday Class' and see whether ' 1 ' is maintained there, if not maintained, type 1 there and save it.
PS (1 - Ordinary Public Holiday....i,e paid holiday).
Now go to PT01 and generate WSR. This will sort out your issue.
If the above is not working,
I guess there are different PSA/ESG grouping for the employees and maybe their Holiday Calendar itself is different. check out whether the PSA and ESG grouping in Time Mgmt is same or different for those employees for whom the paid holiday is not getting generated and also check out the Holiday Calendar for these set of employees and try the above given solution there.
    Hope this helps.

    Any help much appreciated

This could have either field first, but depends on which field is expected to be larger. You would then format the textbox to show in pounds.
