Comming from US to Germany t-mobile sim possible ?

Hi, I live in the us, but I will go back in a few weeks to Germany. I heard that T-mobile is the provider who supports the iPhone. Will it be possible to use the phone with the T-mobile sim?

Hi Stefan,
I was there on Saturday.
Here's an update on my move: UPS has LOST my MacPro... my monitor (30 inch Cinema Display) cleared customs and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow (Monday). So, the computer has never left the USA and, therefore, appears to have been STOLEN... Lesson for all others: NEVER USE THE UNITED PARCEL SERVICE (UPS)!!!
Thankfully, I insured the computer and monitor, so I will be able to collect the insurance $$ ($4,000) at the end of the tracer period. I also kept the hard disk drives with me!
But, I need my computer for work!! And I can't afford to miss any more than the week I already have with the move. So, I went on Saturday and bought a MacPro at the Apple Store in Munich. Now, I will take my hard drives from the old MacPro and put them into the new one... Then, I'll be in business once I get the monitor tomorrow.
So, when I took the hard drives out, I took the entire drive on the carrier and everything. I'm thinking that I can just take out the first 3 carriers from the new MacPro and put in the same three carriers from the old MacPro. Then, I'll have my system, just faster...
Any tips?
Thanks and greetings from Munich to Hamburg!
Robert

Hey Guys I Travel to the States and I am from Germany. I want to buy an iPhone 4S 8GB white Version unlocked GSM. Can I use the iPhone in Germany with every SIM Card?

As long as you buy from an Apple retail Store (Apple owned ) an unlocked iPhone 4S it will work on GSM services worldwide
    from Apple.com
If you buy a SIM-free iPhone, you will need to purchase a GSM-compatible micro-SIM separately. When you travel internationally, you can use a micro-SIM card for iPhone 4s from a local GSM carrier.
The unlocked iPhone will not work with CDMA carriers such as Verizon Wireless or Sprint.
However the warranty will NOT be valid outside the US .If you need warranty or post warranty service you will have to return the iPhone to the US in person ( cannot mail in to US )

I come from Germany, I would like to have the IPad 2 3G from the usa, can I make this with a German  mobile contract?

I'm not really understanding what you want. You mention all 3 types of connections: wireless, 3G and bluetooth, but I'm not clear on what you want to do. What the router is supposed to do, and why do you think it would need to connect via bluetooth?
I'm thinking you want to buy a Mifi type device that will allow you to connect to a cellular network and then connect the iPad to that device via the Wifi network the Mifi produces.
    Is that so?

Not in the US, at the present time. Apple has not started selling officially unlocked iPhone 5's in the US, & has not announced when they will.

The easiest way to find out what carrier it's locked to would be to call the store where you purchased the phone.
The phone can be unlocked from any location.  However, most carrier have restrictions about unlocking and you have to contact them for details.

  • If i bought an Iphone 6 from usa (contract free,T-mobile) can i use in srilanka (outside the usa) ? and to activate it should i have t-mobile sim?

As Ethmoid says, it is still a CDMA phone as I told you earlier, and it will not work with t-mobile. Even if Sprint unlocked the phone, it would only unlock the GSM side for international use. They will not unlock the GSM side for domestic use in the US.

Yes, the message is self-explanatory. You need a carrier who supports Apple's activation policy for an iPhone.

  • How can i install my t-mobile sim card to iphone 4

how can i install my t-mobile sim card to an unlocked iphone 4 gsm i got for Christmas?

Power off the phone. Use a paper clip to pop out the Sim Tray. Insert a Micro-SIM from T-Mobile or a regular SIM cut down to size. Re-insert the SIM tray. Turn the phone back on.
Keep in mind that 3G data, Visual Voice Mail, MMS messaging, and FaceTime will NOT function correctly on T-Mobile in the US. Some people report getting MMS to work, but you'll need to contact T-Mobile for assistance. T-Mobile in the US is NOT a supported carrier. Their network is not fully compatible with the iPhone.

  • I guess the problem come from me or I really need those contacts before he calls me for it. I'll try some method that I got from some responders on your support website. Do you have or can you recommand any software that can solve this problem?

One more thing. I just update my iphone that my boss gave to me but it seems to be like it giving me some trouble. My iphone was updated not too long and was successful. I try to lock into it and it telling me emergency call. I plug it to my itune and it telling me that the sim card is not valid or supported. So I inserted my sim card that I usually use to call and it still saying the same. Please help me get into it.

And as far as paying for phone support, here are a few tips:
If you call your carrier first and then they route you to Apple, you usually don't have to pay for phone support.
If you are talking to Apple and they ask you to pay a support fee, ask if you can get an exception this time.  That usually works once, but they keep track of the times you've been granted such an exception.
If you still end up paying the support fee, that fee only applies if it's not a hardware related issue.  In other words, if it can be fixed by just talking over the phone and following Apple's instructions, then the fee applies.  But if your device is deemed to have a hardware failure that caused the issue, then the fee should not apply, and you can ask for it to be waived after the fact.
This forum is free, and almost all of the technical support articles the Apple tech advisors use are available on this website.  Literally 99% of what they can do over the phone is just walking you through the publicly available support articles.  In other words, you're paying the fee to have them do your research for you.  It's like hiring a research consultant to go look stuff up in the public library so you don't have to.  You're capable of doing it; you'd just rather pay someone to do it for you.
It's like Starbucks.  You know how to make coffee.  Everyone knows how to make coffee.  And Starbucks coffee isn't any better than what you could make at home for far less.  But you want the convenience.  So you're really paying a convenience fee.  Milk is more expensive at 7-Eleven than it is at the grocery store... because it's a convenience store.

  • How to get data from web service in ADF mobile

I'm new to ADF mobile application development. I'm currently blocked in a scenario. I have a web service(from third party) which needs <wsse:Security> to retrieve data. In soapUI, the web service will retrieve the response only when there is this security tag. Otherwise it will give response as invalid security. The web service looks like this:
            <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xx="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/csf/soaprovider/plsql/xx_fs_mob_login/" xmlns:get="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/csf/soaprovider/plsql/xx_fs_mob_login/get_login/">

I tried the steps described in ADF mobile tutorial to get web service data. But I'm getting response code 500 from the server. I tried the steps for secured web service also. But I'm not sure which security policy has been implemented in the web service. I tried with oracle/wss_username_client_token_policy and some others but didn't succeed. Later I tried by creating web service client/proxy. But as Oracle ADF only supports java 1.4, I got errors in the generated code(errors on generics and annotation).
The WSDL for the web service is as follows:
