Commission to be calculated

Hi all,
i have an requirement for calculating commission based on the distance travelled under the shipment.
company wants to give commission to employee on per km travelled basis. is it possible to calculate the commission in the sale order as statistical condition by taking the distance from the shipping master.
Any other means of calculating the commission also pls suggest
Regards,
Aruna

Hi:
One option is to use a Service Material in your order. The base unit of measure on your material would be KM
Then create a condition record for your selling price, the unit of measure for your condition record would be KM, enter your amount.
So you could enter this material (unit is KM) in the order, enter an amount (KM) then based on the condition record the system would do the calculation.
Please reward if helpful

  • Down Payment (partial Payment) calculating commision on Down Payment

I have created a report to calculate the commission payable to a sales rep, based on cleared invoices, the invoices are created in SD or FI, doc types RV or DR.
The Sales rep is assigned to the Sold to as a personnel number in the partner function.
Based on the sales rep, all the cleared billing documents are retrieved, all the cleared FI invoices are also retrieved.
The net payment amount on the cleared invoice documents is output.
The commission rate is retrieved from the KNVV table.
For SD invoices, the commission rate is retrieved based on the sold to.
For FI invoices the commission rate is based on the account number against posting key 01, the account number is the same as the customer number in the knvv table.
I want to add this scenario:
Now when customer makes a downpayment. It is posted in the system as a doc type DZ with special GL indicator u201Cau201D, posting keys are 40,19. Using Tcode F-29.
This down payment is used to pay off SD and FI invoices, doc types, RV and DR respectively as listed in FBL5n report. The clearing is done in Tcode F-32.
This clearing can be complete amount clearing or partial amount clearing, In the case of partial amount clearing, there can be upto 5 partial clearings.
In all these cases the commission should be calculated for the cleared amount only, the cleared invoice and amount needs to be listed.
    Please Suggest???

    hi Clinton,

  • Percentage calculation on the Vendor payable amount

    Hi Friends,
I am putting up a scenario and the requirement related to the vendor payment. It is as follows :
It is an agricultural business. Company is making down payment to vendors at the time of purchasing goods from them. They pay the balance after the end of season say after 1 or 2 months. While making the payment, they calculate 16% commission on the remaining amount and pay the same over and above the balance payment to the vendor.
    Requirement :
    a. They want that 16% commission to be calculated by the system and make the posting with the consolidated payment.
    b. They want it in bulk and hence through automatic payment program.
    Kindly suggest at the earliest.
    Thanks And Regards

    Hi Ramki,
Thanks a lot for showing interest in helping me out. Also regrets for not replying soon.
I will explain you the process in detail :
This scenario is for their Sugar Factory. This client does contract with two types of vendors : 1. Contractors who owns Tractors & 2. Contractors who owns bullock carts. The contract is for a seaon in the year which is basically from October - March. Here contractors will provide sugarcane to the company. Here the company gives advance to the contractors and start purchasing sugar canes throughout the season. Their process is as follows :
    1. CONTRACTORS PAYMENT SCENARIO :
The Process :  Advance to Contractors = Rs.150000 / Tractor.
    2. BULLOCK CART CONTRACTORS SCENARIO :
The Process : Advance to Contractors = Rs.20000 / family.
    Payment & Deductions :
Contractors will provide goods / services for free till the advance given is fully recovered. The entry of advance given will be made in the books in the first instance and the deductions will be settled with every bill / invoice raised by the contractor.
      During the season :
10% amount will be held (or recorded against security held) on every supply / service provided / Bill made.
Amount of Diesel / Bamboo sticks etc. will be settled.
(ii) At the end of the season :
Remaining amount if any will be paid after 15 days (as per the normal vendor payment process i.e. payment every 15 days)
Requirements of the client from SAP :
    1. 10% Amount deduction while each bill / invoice posting to   these contractors (they will settle it at the end of the season)
    2. Diesel Amount to be settled at the time of each invoice
    3. Commission % to be specified to each contractor : 16% in the above case ( if advance taken) & (ii) 20% who do not take advance.
    Kindly help.
    Thanks And Regards

  • Commission caluclation on order

    Hi Experts,
I am new to pricing and need guidence and support .
Q1 : I need to caluculate commission on the sales order
Is there any condition  type template for commission?
Which condition tables should i use?
Let me give u an example..
order xxxx30000 has 2 line items.
             Item100    $100
             Item 200   $200
commission to be calculated is  5% on each line item.
System should calculate the commission as
    item 100 $5(commission)
    item 200 $10(commission)
In the net price value should be 15 instead of 315
Please provide me with detail steps( as am new)  to acheive the output.
Q2. How could i make a sales document as billing relevant not for delivery?
Please provide me with a suitable documentaion on different condition tables, condition types and use.
    Regards,
    Thomas.

    1) Commission should be non-statistical and price condition type should be statistical in the pricing procedure. In the pricing procedure, against the commission condition type  From field give the step number of price. Create the condition record for commission condition type.
    2) The billing relevance field in the item category (VOV7) controls whether the billing is with reference to order or delivery. Maintain B in the billing relevance field.

  • Outflow and inflow

    Hi:
I "Outflow/Inflow Processing for Canadian Customers of mySAP HR Payroll" document, SAP has mentioned about "Advance wage types and Non-advance wage types" and the decision on whether to use origin principle or influx principle are base on increase or decrease of the advance or non-advance wage types.
Both the advance and non-advance wage types are referred as "cash taxable income" but I haven't been able to understand whats the difference between these two.
Would you please elaborate in detail with examples?
    Thanks in advance!

First, I don't recall seeing that document, and it would be great for all if you were to post the hyperlink to it (is it an SAP document?).
Second, our "Advance" WT is a Net Cash Advance, more similar to a Short Term Loan, but if I understand correctly, you refer to Earnings WTs.  A "Non-advance WT" would be any salary or premium for work done, while an "Advance WT" would be an advance on work done but payable at a later date.  An example of such an advance would be the Sales Commission to be paid to a salesperson.  At the end of the current month, the Sales Commission can be calculated but it's amount is not finalized until 3 months later (in case of cancellations and returns), so an Advance on Sales Commission would be considered as taxable income.

  • Agent's Commission calculation in pricing procedure only for NEW Saleorders

    Hi Guys,
In a pricing procedure, .the base for agent commission was calculated on cost + markup price and freight and this base for commision + commision + insurance gave the base price. But now client wants to calculate commision from cost + mark up + freight + insurance + packing charges
So, the steps are changed in pricing and it is working perfectly. While checking the billing documents and open orders, it is showing new pricing procdure.
The pricing procedure should take its effect from now only and not for old billing documents I mean the open orders, open deliveries and open items.
I understand that in open sales orders, if update button is pressed on condition tab and carry out new pricing only changes will occur. Otherwise it will NOT happen
If I goto VF02 and take a billing documen, it is having the new pricing procedure
I didnot maintain new condition types. Only the steps were changed.
Please help me in this regard by suggesting a suitable solution.
    Regards,
    Anbu

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. i had already made the changes in the existing procedure and given them.... then only we realized the problem....they created around 15 billing documents that day and all showed the changed pricing procedure( these were open orders). but my client doesn't want to revert back to the old procedure and as a solution to the change in value for the newly billed documents they have issued the debit note.... now everything is ok( except  that the changed procedure is seen in the old documents too. but the values haven't changed) so client is happy this way...  hope there wont be any issue regarding this in future...
Thanks a lot for your advice....

  • Alternative sales commission calculation problem

    hi sir,
I am a junior consultant trying to solve a problem for my Senior, the question goes as follows:
We are trying to impute sales commissions to sales rep as a discount for every sale, in which for every sale a determined amount is imputed to the sales rep as a commission.
the problem arises when the product is returned and customer asks for a refund. Then the commission should be refunded aswell. Could you please throw some light to wether we should clear that invoice the same month or the next one as a negative pendent discount, if so, how is the negative imputation applied?
    thanks a lot in advance,

Here is a screenshot of a piece of what I'm working on.
    Hi Bob,
Here's what your screenshot looks like when embedded in a post, using the HTML code that Photobucket provides (third item in the list of codes provided).
In your original post you said:
I have a table that calculates sales commissions for a number of people and includes an overriding commission for the sales managers. I need to cap the sales commission at a fixed percentage, say 25%, for the sales people.
I'm not sure what you mean by "I need to cap the sales commission at a fixed percentage."
The first question that comes to mind is "25% of what?"
Do you mean that the commission is not to exceed 25% of Total earnings?
If so, your formula for B5 (the first cell where commission is calculated) would be:
    =MIN(formula1,B2/3)
Where formula1 is whatever formula is used to calculate the commission when it is less than the cap, and B2 contains the salary/wages which must constitute at least 75% of the total compensation under this interpretation.
Do you mean the commission rate is on a sliding scale that rises with increased sales, but does not exceed 25%?
If so, you need to specify the rules that control the rate. Does it rise in steps? Does the 'new' rate at each step apply to total sales, or only to sales above that step? Are the steps the same size for everyone, directly related to the individual goals, or set by some other criteria?
There's not enough information available fom your table to determine a pattern. For the first three columns, person B's commission is 12% of sales, person C's is under 4% and person D's is 30% of sales.
For a more detailed response, we'll ned a more detailed specification of the question.

  • AR: calculating and booking salesperson's Commission based on Revenue

I am facing an issue of mapping a scenario of Commission expense payable to Oracle Receivables. The scenario is "Our client pays commission to Commission Agents on the basis of Customer's Invoice, that commission amount or percentage should not effect the Revenue or Receivable amount of the Customer.
    For Example.
We send an Invoice to our Customer of $100,000
    A/R Dr. 100,000
    Rev Cr. 100,000
When we receive the Payment from Customer:
    Bank / Cash Dr. 100,000
    A/R Cr. 100,000
    ============================================================================
on the basis of above Invoice (Revenue) we book commission lets say 4% and pay that amount to our Commission Agent:

    Payables Cr. 4,000
    Payables Dr. 4,000

  • Commission calculation on the basis of sales

    Hi All,
I want to map the following scenario in canadian payroll. please help me to find the document to support this scenario.
The sales person(s) are paid in two ways:
    1.  Base pay by the hour
    2.  Greater of base pay by the hour or commission (if sales for the hour is
greater than target (target can be any number, depending on store and day of
week ... target could be $1000 between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM.  But between
5:00 PM and 6:00 PM (peak hour) this could be $4000 - $6000; If sales
person sells $6000 during peak, than that hours wages is the commssion wage
which could be $60 for the hour and the base pay could be $10 for the hour.
So the higher of the two is the $60 figure.

    Dear Yogesh,
This is something which you have to co-ordinate wth your SD consultant, As per my knowledge as your SD consultant to check whether they have defined sales employee as partner function, so that sales order is generated against the sales person with date and time. Inorder to update in HCM you have provide necessary details for ABAP developer to develop a custom programme to update employee comission as per the sales order data.

  • Commission calculation add on for SAP B1

Can anyone suggest an add-on to calculate commission on paid invoices?
    Thanks
    Dan

    Hi,
    My requirements are as follows;
    Team
We have a relatively small sales team strucured as one sales manager, three sales people, and one technical pre sales person.
    Revenue Model
    There are two main revenue streams that attract sales commission as follows;
Monthly Fees: At the outset of our contract with the customer we agree a monthly fee to run through the 36 month contract term.  Sales commission is paid on monthly fees for only the first 12 invoices to the customer.
Integration & Development Fees: Each customer requires a level of customisation to the prodcut that they purchase from us.  Where this customisation is agreed upfront as part of the sales process sales commission is paid.
We have a number of other revenue streams that do not attract sales commission.
    Commission model
Commission paid is agreed at the outset of each contract an is never more than 13% of the value of each invoice.  Commission is usually paid as follows
    Sales manager: 2%
    Sales executive: 8%
    Tech pre Sales: 3%
However, these values are variable and there can be some circumstances where more than one sales executive work on a deal (and therefore recieve a split of the 8%).

  • OIC Commission Calculation

    Hi,
We are implementing 11.5.10 Incentive Compensation.
The business requirement for commissions is that there is a quota at product category level and a quota at product sub-category level for each salesrep.
Only when product category level quota is achieved 100% then sub-category level is used and anything above the sub-category quota gets additional commission percentage.
How can this be achieved in Oracle Incentive Compensation ?
    Thanks in Advance,
    UC

You can do this with interdependent plan elements where the subcategory commission plan element is dependent on the category commission plan element attainment. Depending on the number of subcategories, you can either check with a DECODE statement in the expression or use a rate table where one of the input expressions is the category attainment.
The bigger question is why are you implementing 11.5.10 OIC in 2012?

  • Posting of Commission Exp to calculate the Cost of Goods Sold

    Hi Team,
I do work in an automobile manufacturing organization and is new to SAP FI module. I have a business requirement which I need to fulfill; I would appreciate if all you gurus help me with finding the solution.
Business Scenario:  at present, we are posting the following entries to record the commission we paid to dealers for selling vehicles.
    Commission Exp (DR)
         Customer (CR)
    Customer (DR)
         Dealer (CR)
With these entries we are not been able to track the commission based on vehicle variants i.e. Toyota GLI, XLI etc.
    New Requirement:
To calculate the Cost of Goods Sold for a variant, I need to track the commission expense based on vehicleu2019s variants. Please help me in finding the solution.
    Thanks

    Thanks for quick response.
Let me give little more details of type of commission entries we have
    1) Normal Commission - Fixed commission variant wise and is derived from SD.
    2) Additional Commission - No predefined formula, this is totally based on top management discretion. Management decides how much would be paid to a particular dealer.
    3) Sliding Commission deduction - Deduction of certain amount from commission on late payments.
    4) Additional Sliding Commission - Payment of additional commission based on early payment terms.
Currently, FI department is calculating all these figures on Excel sheets and then post a JV for each type of above mentioned commission.
How can I configure the system to calculate these amounts automatically without involving Excel Sheet help?
and how to post these amounts variant wise along with dealers and customers.

  • Issue in Balances in Pension Calculations....

    Hi Everyone,
I am facing a peculiar issue in the calculation of employee and employer contributions of a Pension Scheme.
I have a Pension Scheme(lets call it Pension_Scheme1). It is of type Salary Exchange. The employee contributions are negative earnings.
    Element -> Pension_Scheme1-> Classification Earnings
I have to check in the formula if the Gross_Pay for the Pay period is -ve, and if so the EE and ER contributions should not take place(ie. EE & ER conts = 0). If Gross_Pay is +ve then they should take place.
Now if I have 4 earnings in the curent Pay period as follows then,
    Salary = 3500
    Commission = -4000
    Car Allowance = 370.83
    Pension_Scheme1 = -175
Then in the formula the value of Gross_Pay_ASG_PROC_PTD(called in a message) = 3870.83
But in the Balances window of Quickpay the value is -129.17
    I guess that the GROSS_PAY_ASG_PROC_PTD = 3870.83 is coming because of (3500+370.83 = 3870.83), but i want (3500+370.83-4000 = -129.17)
I want the value -129.17 to be referenced in the formula so that i can check the condition GROSS_PAY_ASG_PROC_PTD < 0 and then restrict the EE & ER contributions to zero.
My question is that can we know the value of balances during the Payroll run(Run Level Balance) instead of Balances after the Payroll run.
Can you please help me on this?
    Cheers!!!
    Sachin Shirke

    Hi,
Check the processing priority of the element "Commission". It looks like the Commission element is getting processed prior to the pension element, hence the balance is not reflecting the value. The elements get processed in a Payroll run based on the processing priority - lowest to highest.
In answer to your question about getting the balance values during a payroll run - you can use debug() messages in the fast formula to print the value of the balances during the execution.
    Thanks.

  • Problem in the commission value

    hi
can anybody help me on the below problem:
    1)
Commission Agreements in Invoices:To enable Commission Agreements (Condition Type ZCA1) values to be copied from Sales Orders into the associated Invoices and Commission Credit Note.Currently Invoices reselect valid Commission Agreements upon invoice creation, i.e. Values may have changed after Sales Order creation.
    2) Commissions Agreements in Sales Orders:To enable Commission Agreements (Condition Type ZCA1) values to be changed in Quotation, i.e. override Commission Agreement, by authorised users:Option 1: Bespoke transaction.Option 2: Release Strategy.Option 3: Amend manually – Manual approval and exception reporting.Note – If this cannot be restricted in SAP a robust manual process must be implemented
    3) Commission Credit Note Financial Posting to Sales Ledger1 - Sales invoice automatically creates a Commission Credit Note.2 - Value is posted to Suspense Account GL534900 (Automatic)3 - Value is then transferred to relevant Sales Ledger Commission account (Automatic)Step 3 often fails and may be related to dates / period end closing, there is also an issue with Customer credit notes which create commission debit notes
    4) Program Modification – Re-create the link between the original invoice and the commission credit noteThe creation of a Sales Invoice automatically creates a PartRebSettl.Request Order (ZB3).Bespoke table “ZVCOMMLINK” is updated cross referencing the:·     Billing Document.·     Sales Document.·     Accounting Document. This table is used by ABAP Query ZAQ_FI_0042.Action 1: Identify historically data to populate bespoke table.Action 2: Update bespoke table with historical data.

    Hi Mano,
I dont understand where you are giving the condition maximum value in VK11. Can you please tell me the exact place where you are giving that in VK11. Because as for my knowledge we will give that at some other place. Secondly you told that your condition is working fine with quantity but not with value. Can you explain me that in detail. Anyway just check the calculation type in condition record or in condition type controls.
Just answer the above, I will tell you the solution.
