Hi,
it seems that the module processing is not working, if the flag keep attachments is not checked.

i try run VS 2012 with /SafeMode. I create new empty Winform. When I start debug, I got:

Did you restart your machine? How about installing the VS2012 update 4?
>>error while trying to run project uncaught exception thrown by method
Did you install the VS update in your VS IDE? I met this issue before which was related to the VS update:
https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/vstudio/en-US/5ead8ee9-ea09-4060-88b0-ee2e2044ff82/error-while-trying-to-run-a-project-uncaught-exception-thrown-by-method-called-through-reflection?forum=vsdebug
If still no help, I suggest you repair your VS, and then restart your machine, test the result.

Find all unchecked exceptions thrown by method?
Dear all,
I am writing critical code that must be correct. Thus, I wish to know that I have not overlooked any important unchecked exceptions. I am aware that the distinction between unchecked and checked exceptions is controversial, and I know the difference between these types of exceptions.
I would like to see for each function a list of all possible exceptions a method can throw. Preferably I would like a tool to do this for me, but I would write something myself if there is a reasonably simple way to do it.
More precisely, I would like to be able to define the set of "unchecked" exceptions myself, e.g., I would put down NullPointerException as "unchecked", but I would let IOException be checked (in my particular application, not in general). In general, this would however be a very nice language feature that could perhaps be a compromise in the (un)checked exceptions-controversy. Each programmer could define an "unchecked"-filter. Perhaps it would best be viewed as a kind of lint.
In any case, I have not found any tool, and it seems I can not do it myself with reflection, since it only gives access to declared exceptions, i.e., if the JDK-programmer decided not to put IOException in the signature of a method, then reflection can not see that the method may throw such an exception.
Does anybody know how to do this?Douglas1024 wrote:
Thank you for your time, but I am well aware how one uses exceptions in normal code.
From an abstract point of view exceptions are simply a form of outputs from a method. Thus, if the goal is to write correct and easily verifiable code, in contrast to the vast majority of code that simply works reasonably, it is quite meaningful to know exactly what kinds of exceptions are thrown by a method and when.
Please note my correction regarding IOException.Millions upon millions of lines of correct code have been written following these standard java exception principles. The notion that you can write "better" code by detailing every single unchecked exception that could possibly be thrown is ludicrous. In fact by handling unchecked exceptions you will in all likelihood do more harm than good, hence why they are unchecked in the first place. -
Is there anywhere in the docmentation where I can find a list of exceptions that may be thrown by a method in a standard Java API?
Thanks for any help you can give.

Exceptions thrown by methods in classes
Hi all,
Just curios why the PrintWriter method close() is not declared as throwing IOException, although in JDK 5.0, PrintWriter implements Closable interface. And IOException is a checked exception.
Thank youRight.
No I remebered that the "implements" relationship allows for the set of checked exceptions to be narrowed in the throws clause. This is because when a client is using the interface it MUST catch all the checked exceptions, even if the implementation does not actually throw all of them.
This is true also when implementing abstract classes.
Thank you -

William MappThanks for the help. Sorry I goofed. Now I have a question regarding what addresses you can send mail to. It seems that if I attempt send mail to a server other than the SMPT host I get a javax.mail.SendFailedException: Sending failed. The exception continues by stating that the address was Invalid, Relaying Denied.
What does this actually mean? Should i be supplying more information?
Thanks,

Hi All,
I am creating a scenario in my test environment Http -- > XI ---> Mail. The http client sending messages to XI successfully. I want to send messages to my gmail account. For that in the receiver communication channel the following items are configured.
I have only one message type with name and id as elements for both inbound and outbound message types.
Adapter Type: Mail, Receiver
Mail Server URL: smtp://smtp:google.com
Configure User Authentication is checked in
Authentication Method: Plain
User: xxxxxx
password:xxxxx
From: [email protected]
to: [email protected]
subject: test subject
When I send a message from http client to XI, getting the below error.
<SAP:Code area="RCVR_DETERMINATION">NO_RECEIVER_CASE_ASYNC</SAP:Code>.
Please help me to resolve the above issue/error.
Thanks,
Reddy Phi,
1. create your directory configuration using directory wizard
and you'll be sure that everything will be ok
2. make sure you use outbound asynchronous message interface (for mail)
3. make sure you check quality of service to Exacly once

Strange exception thrown from Client (Scanner has tokens)
Hi,
I am getting a really strange exception thrown from my client. It seems to be
about a class that the wsgen generated. Has anyone ever seen something like that
before? Maybe it is because I am using JBuilder(5.1)? I am operating on a WL6.1
server. It is only a test webservice. So there are only standard return types,
etc.
Any comments/suggestions are appreciated

Exception in thread "main"Hi, thanks, manoj!
The problem was that eventhough I had the correct login, the server had another
security layer, that prevented me from doing the lookup. So I guess I was supposed
to get an error html page and so the SAX-Parser got messed up.
Stupid mistake, but thank you very much.

If you are using a WSDL file, then the URL will be inside

E-mail receiver QPAC crashes when receiving MIME/multipart messages with various subparts
Hi,
does the E-Mail receiver currently support MIME/multipart messages which contain various subparts?
When receiving a mime message like
message 34
over here, E-Mail receiver stalls and throws the following exception:
Exception occurred - explicitly stalling action. Exception:com.adobe.workflow.pat.PATRuntimeException: The attachment null could not be retrieved because its type cannot be handled by this qpac. Type: class javax.mail.internet.MimeMultipart
Does e-mail receiver currently support mime/multipart messages containing various subparts or not?
Is there anyone out there to clarify this?
SteveHmm. No unfortunately I cannot send you the original message because I didn't keep it.
But never mind. We managed to implement a simple workaround: the Email server reformats emails before forwarding them to the workflow server. Which is quite good a solution since the workflow doesn't care about message-bodies but about attachments. So, it's safe to reformat the message body (or even throw it away).

Hi all,
is there any procedure of receving e-mails from outside SAP system to the SAP system , including the attachment.
or is there any option on e-mail client to connect to SAP to do the above step.
Thanks in Advance

Sending Email to a non-SAP system:
Though SAP mail is a very robust method of interacting with users within SAP system, it is always good to receive email in Microsoft inbox. This also works like an additional notification to users in case they do not check SAP mail regularly.
Sending an email to the Microsoft Inbox is a way of interacting with a non SAP system through ABAP code and hence is very interesting. A fair knowledge of UNIX shell scripting is assumed here.
The ABAP code to send an email to Microsoft inbox revolves around following UNIX script
Echo "From:" "<"$1">" > <unix file path name>
Echo "To:" "<"$2">" >> <unix file path name>
Echo "Subject:" "<"$3">" >> <unix file path name>
Cat $4 >> <unix file path name>
Uuencode $5 $6 >> <unix file path name>
Cat <unix file path name> | /usr/sbin/sendmail f $fraddr $toaddr
(Note : the commands in the above script can be case sensitive. Check the actual case on the unix installation in question)
Let us understand the various parts of the above script.
$1 = Sender email address
$2 = Recipient email address
$3 = Subject of the email
$4 = Path of unix server file having email body
Form email body as an internal table in ABAP program, download it to a unix server file
$5 = Path of unix server file to be sent as email attachment
$6 = Name to be given to the attachment (like test1.doc, test1.xls). The corresponding Microsoft icon
will be shown in the email for the type of file attached ( Word document, excel document etc)
The script builds a temporary file and pipes the file to the sendmail command to achieve the mission.
This script can be invoked from SAP to send the mail to the intended recipient. Store this small script on the unix server. (Assume script name is sndmail )
To do this we should define a link in the SAP system between a customized command and this unix script.
The FM to define a customized command in SAP system has the following pattern.
call function 'SXPG_CALL_SYSTEM'
exporting
commandname =
PARAMETERS = ' '
importing
status =
tables
exec_protocol =
exceptions
no_permission = 1
command_not_found = 2
parameters_too_long = 3
security_risk = 4
wrong_check_call_interface = 5
program_start_error = 6
program_termination_error = 7
x_error = 8
parameter_expected = 9
too_many_parameters = 10
illegal_command = 11
others = 12.

Hello,
We have two Catalyst 4006 as core switchs in our network. Other access layer and server layer switchs (also Catalyst 4006) connect to the two core switchs; two Gigabit Ethernet links between one layer switch and one core switch form a port channel.
Now I add one Catalyst 4507 switch in the backbone, Il connects to each core switch by two GE links formed a port channel. The show spanning-tree command presente different port-channel type for the older(P2P Peer STP and the new port-channel (PO31, only P2P, not peer STP).

What does the type Peer STP means? I made the same configuration for PO31 like the other port-channel, why it is not in Peer STP type?
Thank you.
Jessie DongHi Jessie,
You are running RSTP, which sends version 2 BPDUs. If the switch receives on a port version 0 BPDU (i.e. regular STP BPDUs), it will go to an STP compatibility mode and will start sending version 0 BPDUs on this port.
So basically, what you are seeing is that all your neighbors are running STP, except the one connected to Po31 who is running RSTP.

Error while sending excel sheet as attachment to Mail Receiver
Hi everyone,
I am facing the below error when I am trying to send data to Mail receiver adapter. The attachment is excel sheet.
Delivery of the message to the application using connection Mail_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Object not found in lookup of MessageTransformBean.: com.sap.engine.services.jndi.persistent.exceptions.NameNotFoundException: Object not found in lookup of MessageTransformBean..
I don't understand where the problem is. This has been running since long time and last month we have changed our web dispatcher details. I hope everything is fine. But not sure the root cause for this issue.
Please help me in resolving this.
Thank you.
Regards
Bhanu T.Check if this helps: MessageTransformBean module
Confirm that you have configured the MessagetransformationBean properly.
Are you trying to convert some payload into Excel and send it as an attachment in the Mail CC? If yes, then I hope that you have included the correct Content_type value.
Check this for more info on Content_type: /people/community.user/blog/2006/09/08/email-report-as-attachment-excelword
