Error while sending excel sheet as attachment to Mail Receiver

Hi everyone,
I am facing the below error when I am trying to send data to Mail receiver adapter. The attachment is excel sheet.
Delivery of the message to the application using connection Mail_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Object not found in lookup of MessageTransformBean.: com.sap.engine.services.jndi.persistent.exceptions.NameNotFoundException: Object not found in lookup of MessageTransformBean..
I don't understand where the problem is. This has been running since long time and last month we have changed our web dispatcher details. I hope everything is fine. But not sure the root cause for this issue.

Confirm that you have configured the MessagetransformationBean properly.
Are you trying to convert some payload into Excel and send it as an attachment in the Mail CC? If yes, then I hope that you have included the correct Content_type value.

Send Excel sheet as attachment

Hello,
One of our user is trying to send one sheet of an excel file as attachment and the user does not want to save the sheet.
User is using MS Excel 2010 and Outlook 2013/Office365, the question is " From Excel when you go to File>Save&Send>Send as attachment , you will loose Excel program control until you send the email", user is complaining the she used to
be able to go back to the original Excel file and continue working even before she send the email before migration her email from Lotus Notes to Outlook.
Any idea if that will be a setting in Excel need to be enable/disable to let the user send the sheet as attachment and work on the same excel file at the same time even before clicking on send bottom ?

Hi,
We just need to educate the user how Outlook works in thie scenario.
When we use the option Send as Attachment from Excel, we can't edit the Excel from the new message dialog, you may notice Excel is actually "locked". To workaround this, simply create a new message, then drag the Excel
file to the message window, double click the attached file, thus we can edit it from the new message. Once you finish editing, click Save button and send the file.

Error while sending Excel attachment thro FM 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1

I am working on sending Excel as an email attachment thro the function module 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1'
I am able to send mail successfully but I face the following two issues while opening the attachment.
1. While opening it says 'un recognized format' , on pressing 'OK' it opens the excel file.
2. The column heading (first row) which should be in Korean character is displayed in junk char. I tried to
    specify the unicode (Code Page = '8500') but does not know how to do it.
    I am reading the column header text from standard text.
Please let me know what mistake I have commited in my code and where I should specify the unicode transformation. I refered many samples but could not make it.

Error while uploading Excel sheet

Hello Everybody,
I haave developed one application in which I am uploading one excel sheet. This code is working fine on my local WAS. But, it is giving me following error on Development server.
Application error occurred during request processing.
Details: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.sap.engine.services.servlets_jsp.lib.multipart.MultipartMessage.setCharset(Ljava/lang/String;)V
Exception id: [0012799E23D0004E0000021C000022E900043C0595771BD9]
From the error it seems that it is not from my application but this error is coming from the server side. What could be the issues/problem from the server?
Did anybody encounter the same error?
Please help me in this regard.

Send XML File as attachement in Mail Receiver adapter

Hi all,
i have the following scenario. i would like to read an XML file from the file system and send this file as an attachement of a mail to a mail receiver specified in this file.
i would like to fill the payload of the mail with some information from the xml file and in addition i would like to send the complete xml file as an mail attachement.
can anybody tell me, how the mail receiver adater needs to be specified ?

Hey,
you can go for dynamic configuration of mail adapter.
In this you need to import a mail structure.
mail details such as to, from, subject and content of the mail are a part of the structure.
In your ID check the Use Mail package and also keep attachments.
Now you can give your details in mapping itself.
whatever you want to map in the content of the mail, map it in the content field.
also your file will behave as an attachment.

Problem while sending the *.txt as attachment with mail

I am Using function module (SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1) to send Mail with attachment in *.TXT format. But This function module is allowing only 255 char for a row. But the length of my Internal table is 700 char. Is there any another way to process the attachment without disturbing the data,that means need to process all 700 char in the field with out splitting.

no other way and use mutilple lines as text ( This is possible )
you want to keep text as multiple lines into internal table use FM

no email account was setup on the phone unless it was issued by your company.
gmail is required but no server address ports to enter.
my gmail account was setup before i took delivery of the phone but could have been done when phone was activated.
i added cox pop3 email and had to manually enter both pop3 and smtp servers with both boxes checked on both servers.
i doubt if it's a verizon issue.

Hi,
Check in transaction SCOT. If your mail is in error status in SCOT, you can assure that there is no problem with your code. If your message has not reached till SCOT, then the problem will be with the code.
If the mail is there in scot with error status tell the BASIS to configure it. I feel this could be the problem.

IWocountered an error while attempting to create the attachment data.

Hi I have created an invoice on pages,then saved it.
When i click on share to send document via email as a PDF file this message comes up "IWORK ENCOUNTERED AN ERROR WHILE ATTEMPTING TO CREATE THE ATTACHMENT DATA" can anybody help it very frustrating,i recently wiped my mac book pro and since i put iwork back on it hasnt worked.

Pages 5 has a complex and unique file bundle format. Designed to make it impossible to extract any contents when the inevitable goes wrong.
GMail, Amazon, Dropbox etc (almost any non-Apple Server software) just don't understand them.
Send the files via Apple Mail.

Getting error while opening Excel document from SharePoint site

Hello All,
I am getting following error while opening Excel document from SharePoint site.
This issue appears when we open Excel document from Windows>> Run using below mentioned command:
Excel.exe "{File Name}"
If once I go to Excel back stage and browse for the SharePoint location, then this problem disappears.
I have a work around for this issue but main problem is that i do not have any work around when i need to open Exel document using Excel COM interop in C#.

I m facing an error while sending data from XI to BI. XI is successfully recived data from FTP.

Please check to ping the BI server IP 10.1.45.35 from your XI server , in case its working you can check telnet to SAP standard port like 3201/3601/3301/3901 etc.
It seems to be connectivity issue only.
Make sure your both the systems are up and running.
Revert back after checking above stuff.
