Compatibilty, Dev Version limits, Connection with Apache or IIS

Hello,
I am new to Java Enterprise with BEA so if my questions seem stupid
then pardon me.
1- BEA does not have a 1.4 compatible application server yet? I was
surprised to see Oracle's OC45 has got compatibility certificate and
BEA has not done it yet.
2- Can someone please tell me what are the limitations of Development
version license? Is it legal to run an application on a limitd scale
(say 3-4 users) for a limited time (say 1 month)?
3- Is there a connector (like tomcat's JConnect) to connect BEA's web
output to IIS or Apache? Where can I find it?

Limited connectivity with Apple TV 1stG

Hey folks,
im running a computer with windows 7. My itunes is connected to an Apple TV of the first generation. Everytime i download a movie or tv show via itunes and synchronize with my Apple TV afterwards, i get a limited connectivity after 5 minutes or so (time varies). Unplugging my wlan stick doesnt help. Neither does a deactivation of my wireless adapter. Only solution for getting my internet back to work is a reboot.
Anyone knows a fix or has encountered similar problems? Shutting off firewalls and antivirus software doesnt seem to help. A strange thing i observed is that obviously music files or small data volume arent affected by this problem.

Xfinitywifi hotspot - limited connection with desktop computer, no login page

Lately I've ebeen trying to connect to a public xfinitywifi hotspot with a Windows 8 computer. It takes a good few seconds to connect, and I ALWAYS end up with a limited connection. It doesn't make a login page appear like it should, either. I'm sure that it's not because I'm too far away because I can place an iPod or my phone on top of my computer and they'll get a perfect connection and have the login page pop up. But this just doesn't happen with my desktop. I get a limited connection and can't do anything, not even log in. What could be causing this, and how do I fix it? Thanks.

Z50-70 limited connectivity with Windows 10

I recently upgraded to Windows 10, everthing worked fine for a day or so. All the sudden my wifi started showing "limited connectivity", plugged in my ethernet and same issue. I have two other units runing windows 8 and 7 and are working fine. Went into recovery and reintalled 8 and connectivity issue fixed. I reinstalled 10 again and same issue. I downloaded latest wifi drivers and still no fix. I ended up imaging my machine back to 8 and am wondering if I should stay away from 10 until the service pak is released.

PC limited connectivity with airport extreme

We still have a PC in the house.
We just added the new AirPort Extreme.
All of the Apple devices and the Zeppelin connected no trouble and have full internet acces.
But for some reason I can't figure out the PC will only connect to the network but gets limited connectivity to the internet.
How do I fix this please?

You already know that the AirPort Extreme is operating correctly.
So, something on the PC is blocking the connection attempt to the Internet. That might be the Windows Firewall, the anti-virus program, or Microsoft Security Essentials....if you have it installed on your PC.
Work your way through the guide for troubleshooting Windows connection issues to see if you can find the cause of the block on your PC.

Limited Connectivity with WRE54G to a WRT54G with security disabled.

Hello, I have a WRT54G Router and the signal barely reached my room, so I got the WRE54G, however when I plug in and auto configure the WRE54G I get Limited Connectivity. I am computer savvy and know that my router's wireless security is disabled. I'm using an HP running Vista. I've already held in the reset button and powered down the WRE and then auto configured but the problem persists.

(xp pro) same problem but i noticed as signal strength increases, the connectivity went away. unplug expander and connectivity comes back and of couse signal goes low.

Limited connectivity with LAN cable & WLan after Win and IE7 update

Dear all,
It's been now 2 days i'm trying to fix a new bug on my Satellite P100. I don't know if it's linked but yesterday I got the automatic install of IE7 and KB (914440 and 915865).
And since the restart of my computer i can't connect to the network neither through the ethernet cable or the wifi one. The network is present but the computer never gets an IP from my router and the dhcp. I have another computer running fine on this router.
When I use configfree util, and try a repair I have a freeze.
I have now unsinstall IE7 and the two KB, zonealarm. But still no changes, i always get this limiting or not existing connectivity.
Do you have any ideas on what I could test ?

Hmm. Did you try to reinstall the LAN and WLan drivers???
I found some nice advices in the internet It seems that some MS updates could have a bad influence on some drivers or change the registry entries and therefore some system troubles could appear.
What Lan card did you use?? Intel?? On the Toshiba driver page I found tosh lan driver and intel lan driver so if you use a Intel card you could also check the Intel website for an update..

Tomcat with Apache

Hi,
I have followed the tutorial on this website to configure tomcat to connect with Apache.
I am on a CENTOS 5 system.
Apache was already installed and serving three web sites without problems.
I wanted to add the ability to work with .jsp files and others.
I loaded Tomcat with incident and it is running.
I also loaded mod_jk to connect the two as directed by the tutorial.
However, I cannot access a .jsp file unless I add the port number 8080 in the location bar along with the url.
Can someone point me to a good guide for getting this up and running? Or maybe provide some insight in what I might be doing wrong.

On this website? Which tutorial are you talking about? Apache is in no way related to Sun.

Here are the steps to connect an Satellite System to Solman applicable to both Dev and Prd Systems :
1. Create the Server / Database / System Component in transaction SMSY (
Landscape Components ) to define the system to Solman. In the System component ensure that you have generated RFC's to the relevant clients of the satellite system using the Generate RFC function.
2. Then in transaction SMSY itself , Create an Logical Component for the product amd product version of the system and assign the system to the logical component as per the logical role of the system like DEV / QAS / PRD.
3. Then Create an Solution in transaction DSWP and add the Logical component to the Solution in the Solution Settings.
Bingo. Here you are set to either setup system monitoring for the satellite system or to generate EWA's for the satellite system or to configure Service desk and all other related scenarios.
I hope these steps help you configure Solman.

Nokia Ovi Suite has lost connection with your devi...

5 months has passed and many hours on the phone to Nokia. Having the same issue currently with an E72 software version is 054.005.266.02 and Ovi Suite 3.1.1.80
Actually I had connection lost all the time with all previous versions of Ovi Suite too... it has never been reliable.
Using original Nokia USB cable, connected securely. Tried different PCs, different USB ports, same issue.
Just now I'm trying software update and it looses connection during the backup process all the time... very disappointing. Screenshot attached if anybody is interested.

From the 10.1.2 BI Beans Install Guide it says:
OracleBI Beans supports data stored in Oracle9i Enterprise Edition or Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition. However, only particular releases and patchsets are supported:
* Oracle9i Release 2 Enterprise Edition, as follows:
o 9.2.0.6 for all platforms.
o 9.2.0.5 with the latest OLAP patch for Windows-only.
* Oracle Database 10g Release 1 Enterprise Edition with the latest OLAP patch.
From the error message it would appear that the Database is not one of the above.

Hi,
Please note that we have follwing versions of DB up and running:-
1)Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.1.0.2.0 - Production
With the Partitioning, OLAP and Data Mining options
2)Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.5.0 - Production
With the Partitioning and Real Application Clusters options
JServer Release 9.2.0.5.0 - Production
Pls let us know the solution to resolve this problem ASAP.

You are not using a supported version of the database. BI Beans/OLAP only support the following database versions:
10g - 10.1.0.3 with additional OLAP patch
9i - 9205 with additional OLAP patch
9i - 9206
I would suggest that you have not applied all the required database patches to your instance.

Tried to update to newest version. I got error because i didn't have this recovery program disc that was supposed to come with the purchase but it didn't and now my ipod touch 8gb won't connect with itunes and is stuck on a connection with itunes screen

oke i'm not done with the whole thing, but i'm doing that right now. Most of the advice I've already read didn't work and at a certain point it said something about shutting down programs then restart. but i notice that there are some pretty important system things in that list and i don't want to mess up my pc :s i'm not a pc genius... and because i'm dutch and my pc-language is in dutch I often have trouble translating and well... i don't always understand the technical stuff in all the articles -_-
