Complain to the authorized service

I consider it necessary to complain to the authorized service partner Brand Service in St. Petersburg, Russia. http://www.brandservice.pro/
This service partner addictive repair time, which affects the image of Apple as a whole.
In lJanuary, I was bought iPhone 6 plus and I immediately ran into a problem - native usb cable lightning does not charge the phone or laptop via usb from or through the native network adapter. An error occurred: This cable or accessory is not certified, so the reliability of its work with the iPhone / iPad can not be guaranteed.
2015 january 30 set charger (usb cable and power adapter 220) were put on the warranty repair service brand, Saint-Petersburg, 11 line V.O. d.22, where I was told that the charger will be ordered and waiting time of 5-7 days.
2015 february 10 me was to make a call to the service brand, where I was told that in order to service center to order, it is necessary to me on the phone to disable the "Find my iPhone". On the legal question as to why I did not said when accepting the goods for repair to answer and could not, the question of why not call, said that rang, but I did not answer, though missed calls on my phone between 30.01 - 10.02 was not. Maximum kindly informed that now disable the function as soon as the call. At the end of the tube said ok, ordering, delivery time 1-2 days!
2015 february 25 After 2 weeks and one day I made another call to the service brand and once again asked the fate of my charger.
Long something figured out and said that in a way. On the question of how long these things usually come was said about 5-7 business days. Argue that the previous call was 10 february and it was already 10 workers and 5 days off could not. On direct and specific question: "When will the charge in your office?", Said vaguely: "Maybe next week" Suppose ordered just that, at the time of the call, and then about 5-7 working days to all converges and 10 february just scored forgotten etc.
I think that this behavior is unacceptable authorized service representative and discredit the bright image of Apple in Russia.

Sorry, but you are not addressing Apple here, this is a user to user forum and Apple does not follow these discussions. If you want to contact Apple, use the "Contact Us" link in the right corner of the page. Additionally you can also use this link: Apple - iPhone - Feedback

• The authorized service provider send me home with an exploding machine

I wish the Apple shop over here in Hong Kong opened earlier. I had to deal with the "Authorized" service provider WahFung to try fixing my MBA. Then I was send home with the MBA "repaired" but turned out to have a potential of exploding!
Here is what happened. My MBA had a power failure and needed a board replacement costing me over $400US at this WahFung service provider in Hong Kong. They "fixed" it by showing me that the little light on the MagSafe connecter lights up and rushed me to sign the receipt and send me home. After taking it home, I found that the whole keyboard was lifted up and the MBA doesn't even close properly! So I took it back to WahFung and ask them why. They said the battery has swollen up and you shouldn't turn on the machine as it might explode! I mean WHAT? so you send me home strapped with a bomb? Ok fine, then fix it up. They said no, you signed for it already and it is not our fault! OK, so thanks I paid $400 for you to mess up my machine and put me in risk. The only thing they said they would do is to contact Apple and see if Apple would replace the battery. (Fine I did hear about there is a replacement service for batteries of this problem of the same age machines) Now it has been about 8 weeks, no one is giving me any feedback. I don't even know if they did contact Apple. They still have the machine.
Has anybody had similar problems on the service and/or the battery of the MBA?
Now the Hong Kong Consumer Councel has also contact them and will bring them to court if we cannot settle. That will get me into a lot of time and money commitment having already spent over $400 dollars and hrs of waiting for them to pick up the phone. I have been a long time loyal user of Apple's product since the first Macintosh. Please please don't let these non-Apple people ruin you. If we do lose the court case, there will be media covering the story, I don't want Apple to get involved.
Steve, I wish you were here, what would you have done?

Is the news really that slow in your country that the news would broadcast a story about one persons negative experience with Apple?
Steve, I wish you were here, what would you have done?
Don't ask a rhetorical question towards the recently deceased co-founder of Apple, it is insensitive. Tim Cook is the new CEO, he replaced Steve Jobs before his passing. Feel free to mention his name from now on.
With that said, I hope you recieve a favorable outcome.

That is because the iPhone warranty is country specific. You will need to return to Singapore, or send it to someone you know there, to get it serviced.

I've sent my i phone to technical service because of voice error. I can not talk without a headphone. sometimes screen is freezing. "Teleservice" is the authorizated service in Turkey. even my i phone is in the guarrante scope, service told me to change my iphone with the same i phone by paying 654 euro. I am aggrieved. I want help.
I could not use my phone since i !ve bought it. Because it has always same problems. please help me.
Thanks in advanced.

Did you buy it in Turkey (Turkcell or Vodafone)? If you did so, you have 2 years warranty from Gempa,KVK or another company for your iPhone. Also many technical services repair iPhones if you bought it from a foreign country though no luck from Gempa in this case. As I know there is no Genius Bar or AppleCare option for Turkey.

• Can I complain about the Customer Service here?

I just had a very measured conversation with the Service Repair people, but there were a few things that struck me as utterly ridiculous. So if Lenovo is interested in understanding the customer perspective, I thought it would be a good idea to share.
I bought a IdeaPad s10-3 netbook a little under a year ago. I did extensive shopping around to find a machine that was not only a good deal, but that would be more than the piece of crap netbook that my sister has (she has an HP). I liked the s10-3, and despite the Lenovo reputation for bad customer service and questionable quality for their non-Thinkpads, I bought it.
I absolutely loved it for the 9+ months that I had it. It was good to surf the internet and write e-mails, it had an excellent battery life, it was very portable, and it could handle Microsoft Office. Apparently I loved it to much. I took it too many places. Because despite placing it in a memory foam carrying case when I took it around, I found that the cover (basically the screen) was misaligned when I closed it. One of the plastic hinge covers had broke.
The plastic had broken off the bezel and it was no wonder that the stresses was centered on that piece - there wasn't much else holding the hinge in place. Once that plastic was gone other plastic parts started to snap out of place.
"Okay," I thought," this netbook was fairly cheap, I guess eventually the plastics had to fail." I just thought that less than a year was a pretty short lifetime. I remembered that the warranty covered a year, so I sought to find out if it would be covered and how I could get it fixed. I thought about just gluing the piece back to the bezel and snapping everything back in place. But hey, if it was still under warranty, why not get it professionally fixed?
The first time I called the Support Center, the technician couldn't find my warranty because his system was down. He asked me to see if there was another Serial Number, which there wasn't. He told me he would call me back with the system was up again. He did not.
I called again, armed with the necessary information: Serial Number, Model, Type, Product ID, anything that identified my machine. This time, the technician was able to get my information and I explained the problem. I told him I thought the machine was still under warranty and he told me to send it in. I asked if I could just take it into a local Service Center but he said, no, it had to be sent to their center in Texas. He said they would take care of everything, unless they found that it was the product of abnormal use (i.e. I took a hammer to it).
I sent it in (for ~$20). So, done deal, I thought.
Nope, I got a call a week later. Apparently the hinge is not covered by the warranty. Only hardware is covered. So Lenovo doesn't have to replace or repair the cheap, superficial plastic outsides, but just the expensive, important insides. I had thought that this might be a possibility (despite the fact that the technician said that the warranty covered it), but the part I want replaced was plastic, so how expensive could it be?
Apparently, as much as the machine. Seriously. They wanted to charge me $300 to replace the bezel. I asked if it was that expensive because the LCD screen needed to be replaced. Nope, just the plastic parts. As a customer, it's ridiculous to pay that much to replace superficial, cheap parts. So I told them I wouldn't pay and that they should just send the machine back to me.
I also told them to make sure that they send back the plastic hinge so that I could repair it myself (super glue ftw!). The technician on the phone with me couldn't (or wouldn't) guarantee that they would send the hinge back. She kept asking if I sent it with the machine (I did, and I mentioned so in the letter I sent with the machine) and that she didn't know if the technician working on my machine had kept it. I explained why I wanted the hinge back and asked if there was anything that she could do for me if they didn't send it back. She stammered. I understood that she couldn't personally make sure that the hinge would be in the box with my machine. But really, couldn't she do anything to help me?
So instead of simply gluing the piece back and having a working (with less structural integrity) netbook, I'm already out $20, plus the time it took to call the Center and package and ship the machine, and I might not even be able to repair it myself!
I would have been infinitely better off if I had decided to trust Lenovo's Customer Service reputation and fix it myself. Or if I was simply told in the first place "Lenovo's warranty doesn't cover that."
Let's hope that my brand-new ThinkPad t420s never has to get serviced. Or maybe next time I should just get a MacBook.
Case Number WN378375

Well that settled it. I WILL NO LONGER BE BUYING LENOVO. My dad disapproved of me buying Lenovo over (what he perceived as) superior quality American products, and I disagreed - but not anymore. Some of Lenovo's policies are seriously idiotic.
I just got off the phone with their Repair Center/Customer Service line. I asked for his supervisor, since I was sure that the Support Rep. couldn't do anything for me. After a delay, I finally got to explain why I was calling and ask if there is anything that he could do for me. I told him that a customer has a reasonable expectation that sending in a machine should make the situation better, not worse. He kept saying "Unfortunately, we cannot give out free repairs..." But I wasn't asking for a free repair. I just wanted SOMETHING, ANYTHING other than a pat on the back and a "So sorry, pal" kind of attitude from a company that just screwed up. He said that the only "concession" he could give me was for free shipping of the machine. I asked what he meant, since I had already received the machine back. He explained that if I wanted to send the machine back to get it repaired, and pay the repair fee, Lenovo would pay for the shipping.
Seriously.
Lenovo's "concession" was to ship back the machine so I could pay for the service that I didn't want to pay for in the first place.
He couldn't offer me anything else. I asked if they could send me the missing part I meant a replacement part, but he thought I meant the broken piece I had sent in. He went on to explain that any broken pieces are automatically put in the trash as "scrap." Okay, makes sense that broken parts are useless if they're going to be replaced anyways. Except that mine wasn't. And it is reasonable to assume that some customers will be unwilling to pay for the repairs once they are quoted. You don't see car body shops throwing out bent fenders before their owners give the OK to do the repairs. It's just a stupid, stupid policy. And I said as much. I felt a bit bad for the guy listening to me, because he has no power over Lenovo's policies.
He put me on hold and tried to see if he could send me a replacement part. But nope, apparently the bezel is connected to the LCD cover (even though you can see a break in the plastic and my bezel snaps out of place from the cover) and he can't send me that entire set.
I asked if there was anything else he could do for me to placate my anger. You know, usually a company has some sort of policy to make a customer happier when there is a situation that they can't remedy. Like when I was flying Alaska Airlines for a 1hr flight and it was delayed 3+ hrs because there was a problem with the door - their customer service team gave me a $150 voucher. It doesn't take back the 3hrs I spent angry in an airport, but it makes me feel a little bit better about their company and how they value their customers. The poor guy couldn't do any of that for me.
So I just told him, if he ever had the chance to pass along these words to the higher ups, that the "resolution" to my situation was completely unacceptable. That Lenovo's warranty should be more specific that it only covers the electrical hardware, and that I was led to believe that my problem fell under the warranty. But more importantly, Lenovo's policies were not customer-friendly, and that they had lost a customer.
Put simply, Lenovo's customer service should nurture and grow a loyal customer base. It has done the exact opposite on me.
It just seems like Lenovo doesn't care about the ordinary customer.

• Does anyone know the authorized repair centers in Dubai for iPhones. Etisalat uses Technocare which are less than useless.

I dropped by iPhone 4S two days after buying it, and would therefore like to get the damaged screen repaired at the authorized service center.
I took it to Etisalat (the carrier where I bought it) and explained clearly that I am aware that this kind of damage is not covered by warranty, and that I will pay for the repairs.
They took the device, two weeks later it was returned un-fixed with a message saying "Physical damage is not covered by warranty".
I resubmited the device, this time writing "Please quote for replacing the damage screen at my own expense. I am FULLY aware this is not covered by warranty".
Two weeks later...<drum-roll> the phone is back un-fixed with a message saying "Screen physically broken, not covered by warranty"
So if anyone reading this has any suggestion on where / how to get this phone repaired without voiding the warranty please let me know. Clearly the carrier (or their service center Technocare) are clueless.
Thanks.

Thanks Ingo2711,
The pages you suggested point to the local carriers as the only authorized service centers.
The problem with Etisalat is that they outsourced that service to another company called Technocare.
That company sent the phone back twice (for the reasons mentioned above) and suggested that I have it fixed at a third party, which I am refusing to do since that will void my warranty. Additionally, they are refusing to give me any thing in writing to that affect.

• Reporting Authorized Service Provider

Does anyone knows if there´s a place were I can report a bad Authorized Service Provider?
Apple´s official service it's supposed to be the best, but this happened to me yesterday:
I bought a new iMac Intel, 20". After a couple of months of use, the finder began to react a little slow, so I restarted from my CD.
The CD doesn´t works. My mac can´t boot from CD, so I went to the Apple Authorized Service Provider where I initially bought the computer.
The initial diagnostic was that someone swichted the CD, so I have a different one, but no the appropiate for this iMac. Anyway, they told me the computer must be in observation for a couple of days to check the internal CD unit. Then they gave me a receipt.
To my amusement, the receipt said it was a "G5 iMac" model, with scratches on it's surface and it's original install CD's. Then I protested for two reasons: the computer it's supposed to be brand new, no scratches at all were visible anywere. The second one it was 'cause it was an Intel mac, not a G5. But they insisted the computer's processor's was really a G5. This discussion lasted for about ten minutes. The final settlement it was that the computer will be registered as an "early 2006 model", with no mention at all of the type of processors or memory, but they insisted that the receipt should contain "tiny scratches" anyway, or won't be repaired.
When I protested, they told me they don't have any obligation to repair a computer without serial number. I didn't know anything about this, but they told me all iMacs have a little plaque at the bottom of it's base with their serial number. Mine didn't have any, and no signs of damage of scratches in this place, just a little squared empty space. They told me this serial number should match the one registered in the original invoice, the one I received when the original purchase was done.
And guess what? No serial number was in the invoice too!!!! When I proved to them that they sell me the computer with no serial number at all, I told 'em I will call consumer;s protection bureau and Apple, and then the discussion inmediately ended. They take the computer to service, with just one minor detail: initially they give me the receipt to accept the service in which they described what I gave to them, with no mention of any peripherals at all. After a couple of words, they included the original cables, keyboard and mouse in the list.
Just one last thing: The phones which appear printed in the original invoice does not exists. Their real phone number it's quite different.
In resumen: If the computer is new, can the Install CD's be switched? It's true that G5 it's the same as Intel core duo? Can an Authorized Apple Provider sell a computer without serial number?
So, if this is what you can expect from an Authorized Service Provider, can you imagine what can you expect from anyone else?
This post was deleted with no further explanations from this forums, so I inmediately spread it across the net. The mail version contains all information, adress and phone number of the Authorized Service Provider, pictures, and all appropiate information to identify him. It's now on a blog and copies were sent to news services.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Victor,
No, an Intel Core Duo iMac is not the same as an iMac G5. However, the iMac G5 (Early 2006) and the Intel iMac are virtually identical to eachother. The way to tell them apart is to look at the bottom of the foot or to turn the computer on, click on the Apple logo and choose "About this Mac". Also, the original disks that came with these units are very different and wouldn't work with eachother.
I would recommend that you call Apple directly at 1-800-APL-CARE (1-800-275-2273) to let them know about your experience and also to request new disks if you qualify. They should be able to answer most of your questions.
I hope this helps ya,
Derek C.

• Replacement Needed. This iphone is not able to complete the activation process and needs to be replaced. Please visit your nearest apple store or authorized service center.

Probably will never ever think of buying a locked phone from AT&T cause its one of the worst system integrations ever that these companies could think of.
The entire problem started when I put in a request with at&t to unlock my iphone 4s (ios7) which did get approved. I performed the entire instructions they asked me to do, which is to backup and restore. After doing those instructions my iphone gave me an error message below
The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported.
The SIM card that you currently installed in this iPhone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with the iPhone. Please insert another SIM card from a supported carrier or request that this iPhone be unlocked by your carrier. Please contact Apple for more information.
Basically saying that at&t hasn't still unlocked the iphone which a really helpful apple executive was able to confirm. I initiated another unlock process from at&t in order to unlock the iphone, just to be sure that its not something wrong from my end. The nice at&t lady stayed on chat with me to unlock the iphone step my step while I was calling the apple tech too. And the apple tech confirmed again that the iphone is locked to at&t.
Now, just a few minutes ago I tried another restore to see if any progress is being made and to my surprise I got an error message saying
Replacement Needed. This iphone is not able to complete the activation process and needs to be replaced. Please visit your nearest apple store or authorized service center.
I feel like I am just going around these two different "money hogger" companies which set certain rules and regulations to screw a regular phone buyer. I purchased this iphone in USA and trying to unlock in India, is it really this hard to simply unlock a device.
For now I am going to try to call a apple office in india (apprently we don't have very many out here) and see if they can help me. But any other assistance regarding unlocking an iphone 4s would be helpful. I have however, tried checking IMEI.info, called up apple, talked to at&t (which always say go talk to apple) I do have a case number from apple as well in case an apple executive reads this discussion forum (case number: 566383594)
Thanks

You got a confirmation from AT&T that it was authorized. Is this correct? - Yes i did get an email authorization on the 21st.
Then you connected the phone to a computer with the latest version of iTunes installed. You clicked on the phone's name in iTunes, then clicked "Backup Now". - Yes
When that finished you clicked "Restore iPhone" (NOT "Restore Backup") - Yes
Are you with me so far? - Yes.
And @ Varjak is right that after the 3rd restore I get the replacement error.
Plus I have NEVER jailbroken the iPhone. To give you another update, I spoke to a really nice apple tech in India who was atleast able to get me out of the replacement error by doing a recovery mode option. However, the lastest restore still gives me the same error
The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported.
The SIM card that you currently installed in this iPhone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with the iPhone. Please insert another SIM card from a supported carrier or request that this iPhone be unlocked by your carrier. the insurance company cancel my claim already..because you i cant claim my iphone back... because you i lose my phone. i really really hate the apple service....really hate.
apple uk service is really bad..

hi. i do not think this is the right place to escalate this concern but let's just hope this will create a visibility to apple support personnels joining this forum as well... most of the people here are also users and not apple employees.
first things first.. did you p[rovide what is needed to have your request processed?
you also have to inform apple about the insurance, and vice versa, the insurance company also needs to know that apple has delayed response (assuming that you have already provided everything they need for your request to be processed)
double check that the fault or gating item here is not actually you.
since you are the customer, you need to be more aggressive towards Apple. if you have to demand to speak to the managers, do so. you have all the right because you are the customer...
