Comprehensive list of apps optimized for iOS 8

Does anyone know of a site that is keeping a comprehensive list of apps that are optimized for iOS 8 up to date? Apple's only featuring some of them in the App Store.
I would like to keep an eye on these lists:
- Apps that use PhotoKit or have a photo editing extension
- Apps that offer third-party keyboards
- Apps written in Swift
- Apps optimized for Retina HD displays
- Or even just in general apps that take advantage of any iOS 8 technologies (notification center extensions, share extensions, etc)

The first thing to try is resetting your iPad. HOld down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and then try again.
Then you can try to force close the apps, forcing them to reboot and maybe fixing the issue. Double tap the home button. Flick the preview for all the apps up and off the screen until all you have left is the home page preview. Tap on that then try to reopen your apps again.
The last thing to do is a restore. You back up your device, then erase all content and settings, then restore from the backup you just made. If you've backed everything up you won't lose any data but you give both the apps and the iOS a clean slate.

Why not have a section in app store for iOS 4.3 and earlier?

I LOVE "remote" app and airport.
Since i have had to restore all my ipods for various reasons, i am now no longer able to download the remote app since apple only supports iOS 5 or later. They have instantly rendered my whole apple setup useless. They are basically telling me that my purchase of their hardware was a mistake and that they only care about people who purchase new things. Which is a great reason not to purchase new things from them.
What i don't understand is why they simply can't put a version of remote (or any app) in the app store for iOS 4.2.1. and earlier? And allow developpers to support their apps for earlier iOS. So little effort to leave 4.2.1 apps in the store. They could even create a special section based on iOS.
Now they are forcing me to consider alternative solutions, of which there are many. I simply would never have bothered to do this before since i was so satisfied with apple products. This is a failure from a business and marketing perspective.

Backing up your current apps helps prevent this loss in the future. Earlier iOS apps are becoming increasingly difficult to find. You may want to look at VintApps, new in the Apple app store, that makes this much easier.

What is the proper way to open the app store for ios

Using Air3.1 to develope a game.
I want to have links on my main menu which will open the iOS app store for a specific application.
The only way I have found to do this is by opening a url "http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=<THEAPPIDHERE>&mt=8"
However, while this does work, so to speak, when I try to go back to the application, it starts up as if it had crashed... and it does several "redirects" before it get's where it is eventually going.
Is there a better/proper way to open the app store?

Looking for an app lock for iOS 8

I am looking for an app lock for iOS8, which lock all apps on my phone.
Previously, Iwas using Android in which I used smart app protector app, which help me to lock all app I have on my phone and also provide facility of fake lock.
Apps present in App Store as app lock, only lock photo, video, note, download and audio.
I want to lock other apps too, like whatsapp, hike, messenger etc. but, no app is present.
Please help me out.

You would have to search the app store, however I'm not aware of any app that will lock multiple apps. There is nothing native in the iOS that allows for locking individual apps or all apps. Feedback to Apple goes HERE, and then click on the appropriate link.

Ipad mini with retina-- apps crashing on ios 8. Even apps updated for ios 8 are also crashing

AFter updating my ipad mini retina to ios 8, apps already updated for ios 8 are crashing like...scanner pro by readdle,
safari not working as well as on ios7.1.2.

Me too. I've been an Apple fan for a long time but things are starting to get painful. I hate telling people not to upgrade but I can't honestly recommend otherwise.
A bad thing is that these problems are not predictable. I have an iPad Mini - no retina that I got for free for opening a new bank account. I am a developer so I have run it on iOS 8 for some time. Even the released version has annoying bugs that weren't there on iOS 7. While the performance isn't great, it is useable. But a retina would have higher requirements and perhaps iOS 8 makes your machine too slow.
Do try all of the resetting and troubleshooting techniques. They may help.

Usually developers will note a screenshot to let you know would you like to download the earlier version, just before you download the app so you know that it is not a ios 7 update......ADOBE did not do that with Adobe Reader Why IS THAT?

Hmm. The problem with ITunesU videos. All my videos in ITunes libraries from ITunesU. I try add several films to ITunes library and I can watch them over home sharing under iOS 6.
Also I discover that Video.app in iphone have search control. I open Home Share -> No videos. But i try search and see the list with all videos that contains searched string. Unfortunately Video.app for iPad not have search control.

I have an ipad and i really prefer free apps to paid one.(apps which are completely free) .Can anyone suggest some website which lists apps which are completely free ?Mainly games.

I can't answer your specific question, but try downloading freeappaday. They list 3 or 4 apps every day for free that usually cost. Recently they even had some of the Sims app for free download. They mostly list games.

What is a program that can act as a "launcher" for my most commonly used apps (without having to type out the app name?)
I am currently using MODKEY+F[#] hotkeys, but i'd really like a display with all my common apps and a way to choose one of them.

For xmonad, and a shorter list of 'often used' programs or some such, if you don't want to go the dmenu route (for your most used programs), there is GridSelect.

Failures with DPS App Submissions for iOS

With This new failure, do we need to rebuild and upload, the new binarie?
I just resend this week 4 app's to approvel, do i need to send them again?

I notice that App Builder, is not showing any update.
But i wish that Adobe Engineering team explain this.
"DPS Engineering confirmed that Apple modified the app submission process and applications can now be successfully submitted for approval"
Do i need to re-submit again the Distribution package.

HT4972 Why is an installation of an app asking for iOS 4.3?

Trying opening sky sky go app - just would not respond kept closing. Re-lauching the app, I was met with app requesting IOS 4.3! Any suggestion.
