Comsume enterprise service from service registry

HI guys, now I want to consume enterprise services form ECC6 in NWDS, should me publish enterprise services to service registry? and then I consume services from service registry. How should i do?thanks

Hi lei,
If u can access the ES workplace u can directly consume the service by downloading the wsdl either locally or through the service registry.To use the SR u would have to use the S user ID of ES workplace.
Just check this blog by Boris.It is a step by step approach to consume an ES wsdl through a simple java client using NWDS.
Remember to uncheck wsdl validator in NWDS before u dwnld wsdl in NWDS,else it might give an error.

Hi Lei,
The metadata and execution destinations are relevant for runtime. On runtime you web dynpro application will access the web services you imported via these two destinations.
You can configure the metadata and execution destinations in the following location:
login on the CE system Netweaver Administrator: http://hostname:portnumber/nwa
On NWA navigate to SOA Management --> Technical Configuration --> Destination Template Management.
In this section of NWA you can define the Metadata and Execution destinations for your web services.

How to remove opmn services from services.msc on windows 7 64 bit ?

while doing OBIEE11g (11.1.1.5.0) uninstallation, i can able able to remove opmn services from services.msc - windows server 2008, but i could not able to delete it on services.msc-
windows 7 64 bit OS. i am getting the below error

also delete the services registry entry using regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services What happened after you deleted from regedit? You have to reboot the machine to completely remove the service.

Unable to start obiee services from "Services"

I am not able to start obiee services from services.msc on my local. (Windows XP)
I get the following error while trying to start Oracle BI Java Host:
The Oracle BI Java Host service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs and Alerts service.
Error while starting Oracle BI Presentation Service:
Windows could not start the Oracle BI Presentation Service on Local Computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code -1.
Error Description from System Event Log:
The Oracle BI Presentation Server service terminated with service-specific error 4294967295 (0xFFFFFFFF).
Error while starting Oracle BI Server:
Could not start the Oracle BI Server service on Local Computer.
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly.
Can somebody please help me with this.

Hi,
Regarding the Java Service have you installed the Java JDK (can be found here ) in a directory that contains no spaces?
Installing it in Program Files will cause issues so perhaps reinstall it into a location like C:/Java/jdk1.6/
After installing it to the new location you will need to update the instanceconfig.xml file (mine is located C:\OracleBIData\web\config\instanceconfig.xml).
Change the location of the Java Home between these tags to the root of your newly installed Java sdk. eg <JavaHome>C:/Java/jdk1.6</JavaHome>
Try launching the service again.

Cannot Start Workflow Service from Service Manager

Hello Professionals,
I have a problem with starting Workflow service from Service manager,
I have configured all the settings and connection to database was successful.
However, after closing the settings window and try to start the workflow service, i got "Cannot start Service; configuration is not correct or cannot connect to database"

Problems with discovering services from Service Registry in VC and NWDS

Hello,
I have followed step 1 "Brokered Service implemented in own system" in blog

in order to publish a service from PI to the Services Registry (SR).
It works fine and I can find the service in the SR and also test it successfully.
However I can't discover the service from within Visual Composer or NWDS.
I succeed in discovering standard SAP Enterprise Services from VC and NWDS.
I'm working on CE 7.1 EHP 1 and PI 7.1 EHP 1.
Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Sorry, may be I should have been more specific.
First, I want to verify that you're using at least Ehp1 SP2.
The information that I need is the complete system details:
Name, Host, SLD System ID, Type, ABAP Client.
In addition, please reverify that you have a valid link to the endpoint.
Only if you're using a version Ehp1 SP2 onwards, here are the seetings that you should fill:
1. Open NWA>'SOA Managment'>'Application and Scenario Communication'
2. Press on 'Single Service Administration' link
3. Press on 'Customer Proxies' tab
4. In the 'find' text box select for 'sr' and press on 'Go' button
5. Select the 'ServicesRegistrySi' (This is the proxy to the Services Registry backend)
6. Press on 'Configuration' tab
7. Select the 'ServicesRegistrySiPort' (If it's the only result it will be marked by default)
8. Press on the 'Edit' button and insert your SR URL
   (for example: http://sr.esworkplace.sap.com:80/ServicesRegistrySiService/ServicesRegistrySiPort)
9. Press on the 'Security' tab and insert the requried authentication if needed
   In this example it will be:
   username: <your user namr>
   password: <your password>
10. Save this configuration
11. Defined proxy (if needed): NWA>'SOA Managment'>'Technical Configuration'
12. Press on 'SOA Middleware Global settings and type the proxy's settings
12. Save settins
14. Now you can work with Service Registry in VC (server)

Problem while starting Portal Service from service configuration

While starting Portal service i am getting following error message:

Consuming web service from service registry

Hi
We are trying to use web services created from ECC function modules in to VC model. These services are tested fine from wsnavigater. But throw following errors while trying to run and build them from VC.
1. For BAPI_REQGETdetails service when we drag drop it to in our model it says "Error in Discovery: Duplicated fields found: 'Procstat','ProcStat' (ProcStat) in item"
2. For PO get items or PR get items services it asks for inputs non mandate fields- MAtext, matguid and matver.
if we give some dummy values to it, in response it results with some data record with no relevance.
For whatever input we give it results in same record as response.
Any inputs please.

Sony Xperia Z1 Water Resistivity false advertising and poor service from service center

I have bought Sony Xperia Z1 from eBay on 31 October 2013. I have been using this phone for nearly a year. The phone was good in performance but comes to water resistivity it will resist water for a few months but after few months even though the card slot and all flops are closed, the water gets in.I have faced this on 7th September when i was about to take a photo in pool, the water gets in and the phone was dead. And i took it to the service center ( Repair and Return Technology (I) Pvt Ltd) Egmore, chennai, on 9th September 2014. On 15th September i got a call that i have to pay nearly 20000 to rectify the phone. Then i called the service center and also sent mail to [email protected] and said that i was not satisfied with the reply. Then few days i again got mail like below

We had received your Sony XPERIA Z1 at our Authorized Service Centre – M/S Repair and Return Technology, Egmore, vide Work Order No.W114090906449 with the nature of complaint “Cannot Power On”.
Upon physical inspection of the product by our engineers, the phone was found to be damaged due to external cause of liquid regression. As we mentioned in our Warranty Terms and Conditions, this service is not covered under Warranty. The Main Board needs to be replaced for satisfactory working of the product. They just mention the flags turn red and so the water has got in. They were unable to explain how the water got in. I have seen several forums that many users facing this kind of issues even all the flaps are closed. I was completely stressed and depressed to hear this. I halfheartedly asked the service center to do the service on 1 October 2014. Today's date is 11 October 2014 but still now i haven't heard any update from SONY. When i asked SONY customer care or service center, they dont even know the status of the product, they saying that the phone has been given for service to next level, I have to wait for few days, But i have been waiting for 1 month. I was completely fed up with Sony Service as they are not even called me once regarding this. I have to call each and every time and not even get proper reply. Its very irritating.
If SONY is viewing this do necessary action or else you'll lose a premium customer and more customers in future.
Even though i got the phone how can i use this phone in water ? I completely lost trust in SONY and never buy any SONY product again. I'll go for Micromax next time.

Beware of buying Xperia Water resistant products as it may not guarantee waterproof and they don't even give warranty if your phone got water.

I have had the same problem I have wrote to customer services and I keeping the same reply, that the phone has to be less than 1.5 meters, less than half an hour....... blah blah blah.
My phone failed in water and I had met all the conditions but they keep fobbing me off I have asked why they advertise the phone as waterproof when obviously its not. The last reply I got was well it might not be waterproof.
Absolute rubbish the phone and the customer service. and dont get me started on the smartwatch that failed in water as well it never worked I threw it in the bin.
Aviod sony products absolute junk I say.

Auto Po creation for Services from service PR

Dear friends,
I need to configure the same scenarion Auto PO for Service PR with item cat D and Account assignment K.
I have done following settings.
1) Auto PO marked in Vendor master
2)SproMMExternal Services ManagementSource Determination and Default Valuesfor Purchasing Organizations-Auto Po generation for service requitions.
3)PR created with Item cat --D and account assignment cat K with material group as input data.
no material number and service number.
4)Info record created for material group and vendor.
5)Source assigned to PR via T code ME56
now i am trying to create the Auto PO via ME59N but i am getting the message " no suitable PR found"
Please suggest the action.

How to use WS-RM web Service from Session Bean?

Could you tell me the way how to call WS-RM web service(Staring BPM Process) from SessionBean?
Our environment: SAP NetWeaver CE 7.2 SP3
I do the following.
I have created a BPM Process starting with Message Start Event.
This Message Start Event was created by Service Interface(stateless and asynchronous) which was imported from ESR.
I deployed this into my server and it worked fine in webservice navigator as a WS-RM WebService.
But I can't call this webservice from SessionBean in EJBExplorer.
I get the following error message:

Authorizations required in ECC to test a service from CE

I am getting <faultstring xml:lang="e">Authority check failed</faultstring> when i test my service from service register.
The RFC function module is tested and exposed as service correctly, we are in ECC 50 (NW 2004s). Please let me know what authorizations are required. I already have SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_ADMIN and a role to execute RFC's
