Condition types restriction at only certain combination like Country/Tax

Dear All
In FV11/12, with object V_KONH_VKS we can restrict users accessing certain condition types (field - KSCHL). My query is that I have few condition types accessed by various Plants i.e. common across Plants/Company Codes. Hence would like to restrict users at Key combination level.
For eg.
Condition Type JMOP - Key combination u2018Country/Tax Codeu2019 and u2018Tax Classificationu2019. Certain users should be allowed to change this combination and other users can change other key combinations i.e u2018Plant/Vendor/Materialu2019, Plant/Material Groupu2019 etc.
Request your help asap.
Regards & Thanks

Hi Arpan,
wasnt that what i mentioned in the previous post? You cannot make a restrcition on the access of the pricing procedure (key combination as all of us refer it to). You can make restrictions on the condition table and the condition type but not on the different accesses of the condition table itself

  • Condition type to be loaded on Material cost after Taxes but shouldn't change Tax base Amount.

Customer requirement is that they want to deduct some amount after the Taxes (after BASB) &t load this amount value after taxes on Material cost  (hence accrual KEY can't  be used). but with the addition of this new condition type (for deduction) it shouldn't change the base amount  for Tax condition type (BASB).
Basic Problem : new condition type value to be load on material (after taxes). but this condition value shouldn't change the Net price of PO(amount in BASB condition of Tax) so that base amount (BASB) of Tax procedure remain unchanged.
(Since it is to be loaded on material hence i cant use account key definitely. Also this cost to be loaded on material after taxes)
    Ex -             PBXX =     100 base price
                     Freight =       20
       Tax base amnt =     120
                   Tax (5%)=          6
                          Total =    126
Other Charges=      10  (this 10 Rs amount in this condition type required to be loaded on material cost, at the same time this condition value shouldn't change the base amount for the Tax (BASB)
Please suggest (purpose is to load the deduction on material cost after Taxes & same time it shouldn't change the  the amount after Tax base calculation)

    Hi,
Your condition type is without acrual flag in M/06. No acrual key is maintained in the MM pricing procedure.
To achieve your requirement, maintain subtotal 6 against the condition type in your MM pricing procedure in M/08.
Maintain the base type calc procedure as 362 against your BASB condition type in tax procedure. Keep the field blank for the tax condition type (VAT or CST / ED etc)
Test the scenario again with a new PO. System will show the condition value in net amount field in PO, but the same wont be copied to BASB in tax procedure. Check the taxes pop up. Check the same and revert back.
Note: Similar requirement (not exact) for acrual conditions are mentioned in my doc: Tax Calculation on Freight - Different Scenarios You may refer it if required.

  • Condition type restriction

    Hello Sap Guru's,
In the scenario, how to restrict condition type for manual entries to a particular user?
    Regards,
    JP

    Hi Ashish,
Version 5 of the note 105621 is the earliest still visible one, from the year 2000... which is even before SDN itself
Much of the note is occupied with how to create a custom authorization object to be able to add own code to the exits for doing "whatever" to the condition types.
The later note transfers these exits to BADI's, and keeps the authorization concept previously implemented, albeit it still describes using manual profiles in the reference to the older note - where PFCG roles are the prefered weapon of choice now-a-days.
Yes, I understand that you wanted to "simplify" that part of the blog to concentrate on the general possibility of adding logic based on the condition type.
I think many developers, when faced with the requirement of using an IF statement and not having any understandable authorization concept to work with, have reached out for the bluntest tool in the box to use: sy-uname.  But for others this only makes it worse and even less understandable what is going on.
It always reminds me of [this scene|http://www.corbisimages.com/images/42-20041107.jpg?size=67&uid=2597837E-FED2-4E85-AE4C-CECF92B67B45] when I see such things... as do the new sy-unames of Amit and his clones...
Thanks for your patience with my rant and following up on the topic, so that others who use the search can see the full picture and the different (better) options (techniques).
A merry christmas and may all your authority-checks return sy-subrc = 0 in the new year 2010

  • Condition type PR00 can only be used once

    Hi Experts,
Im faced with a strange problem. Request your help in resolving it.
I tried to create my own pricing procedure by copying from RVAA01. Then i deleted all the steps and created my own steps. But when im trying to save the document, it says PR00 can only be used once. I deleted this condition type and tried to save it, it again says K004 can only be used once. Even after deleting all the earlier conditions which i copied from RVAA01, why am i getting this error.
    Your help is most appreciated.
    Warm regards,
    Sarat.

You have deleted a row (i.e. condition type, say PR00).
    After that click icon "Save".
Then when you create condition type PR00, system shall accept it.
Currently, you are deleting a condition type (PR00) but it is still "in memory" of the pricing procedure. You can not create the same condition type more than once in a pricing procedure. Therefore you can not create PR00 again & you are getting the error message.
First remove PR00 from the memory of the pricing procedure by clicking "Save", & then you can re-enter the same cond type.

  • ACS LDAP authenication - restrict to only certain LDAP users?

I'm configuring Secure ACS v4.2 for TACACS+ authentication/authorization and command logging. I'd like to use my external LDAP user database for authentication.
I have this fucntionality up and working and have one of our 3550 switches able to sucessfully authenticate against ACS with one of my LDAP username/passwords. Command logging and authorization also appear to be working as I can see them in the TACACS+ Accounting/Administration logs on the ACS server.
Is there a way to restrict what LDAP users are allowed to authenticate? For example, out of my 16000 users in LDAP, I only want only a handfull of users to be able to authenticate against the LDAP server via TACACS+ and get into my devices.
Can I create an LDAP filter someplace in ACS that specifies only XXX users can
authenticate against LDAP and to deny all other users?
Oh and we do not use the "group" functionality on our LDAP server. All users are part of the same OU in LDAP and are not seperated out by a different group OU. I know I know.....I could probably do it this way, but since that info doesn't exist in our LDAP server I'm looking for another solution.
    I'm running ACS v4.2.0.124.

Sure, add the allowed users to a group in ACS, then use NAR to restrict what devices they can get to. This link might help as well.

  • Firefox 3.6.17 crashes after mac updates on snow including java update - only certain pages, like ebay and google crash

I just updated my snow leopard mac with updates including garageband, iphoto, safari, hp printer, itunes and java. After that Firefox 3.6.17, which had been working fine, crashed after I would open many pages including myebay and igoogle. I tried safe mode and disabling all plugins, but it still crashed. Other pages, like Gmail and ebay before I chose Myebay worked fine, at least on open.
I downgraded to 3.6.13, but it did not solve the problem, so I upgraded to v4, which I am not thrilled with, but it stopped the crashing. I would rather say in v3.6 (which isn't as good as 3.5). What can I do to resolve this issue so I can return to 3.6?

    Hi Ben,
    First...
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If no improvement on rebooting, then...
One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
    Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or some USB or Firewire device, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts (Users & Groups in later OSX versions)>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

  • Show Concerning Condition Type in PricingProcedure while Create of Contract

    Salute Masters!!
Please provide me solution for this......
There are several Tax Condition Type in Pricing Procedure; when creating contract, all the Tax Condition type is automatically coming in Condition Tab. Here, user has to delete the irrelevant Tax Condition Type and keep only that concerning Region (State) Tax Condition Type every time.
Now, is it posible to get only concerning Region (State) at Condition Tab while creation of Contract to that particular Customer?
I shall be thankful to you all for solution.

You can use 2 regions in access of tax condition type:
    1. Region from Delivering Plant
    2. Region from Customer Master Ship-to Party.

  • Item category and condition type

    Hi
I would like to know where you assign a condition type to an item category OR vice-versa? Pls let me know the t-code/table..
    Reward points for help
    Siddharth

    hi siddarth,
we won't assign condition types directly to item categories.
We will place the condition types in pricing procedure as per our requirement and assign that pricing procedure to the combination of sales orgn + Dist. Channel + division + document prcing procedure + customer pricing procedure
the document pricing procedure comes from Sales document functionality
Customer pricing procedure comes from Customer master Data
When we place order we enter doc type, sales area and Customer...based on this combination the pricing procedure is identified and prices, discount and taxes will be calculated for the items which we enter in the sales order.
Item category in the sales order is determined based on the sales doc type + item category group + usage + higher level item category + default itemcatogery.
But in pricing procedure when we place the condition types we can control some features like the condition type is only accessible only when certain precondition met by the item category. I will explain it with example
    take the condition type PR00.
for this in pricing procedure in the field requirement we enter as 2 which means 'item with pricing'. that means this PR00 condition type is accessible only if the sales document item satisfies that requirement..if sales document item is standard item TAN ..in TAN item category functionality in the field 'PRICING'  it should contain either 'X' or' B'  then only the price for that particular item category is calculated which means that condition type is executed.
I hope u understand the link between those two.
reward points if it is helpful

  • How to include condition types in tax codes

    Hi
can anyone help me in including the user defined condition types in the tax codes creation ..
that is in FTXP i would like to add my condition types so that i can specify the % of tax against my condition types..
and also how these amounts get updated in PO after giving the respective tax code in PO
    regards,
    Raja

    Hi Raja,
As per below mail it seems that you are using TAXINJ.
I assume that for your country setting you have assigned TAXINJ procedure.
After the above setting you can go and add your customer defined condition types in TAXINJ procedure or be it any procedure combination you have selected.
Once you have added your condition types in TAXINJ the same would be available in FTXP for its Rate maintenance as system picks all the condition types for the procedure as per Country and Tax procedure assignment.
Trust it helps to sort the issue out.

  • MM Condition Types values flow COPA

    Dear Gurus,
My client requirement is MM Condition Types Values Should flow to COPA like SD to COPA. I had seen a screen that KE4IM is there we can map our COPA Value Field and MM Condition Types. But I am not sure that values flow to COPA, Because No document will be generated in FI or other while doing PO.
Pl suggest me how can I fullfill this requirement.
    Regards,
    Balaji Bhonsle.

    Hi,
If you read config doco for KE4IM you will find a statement:
"It is also possible to transfer conditions from MM to update billing data in pooled payment in the IS Retail system. These are transferred according to the same rules as SD conditions."
So KE4IM is only used in IS Retail. Are you IS Retail?
If not you probably want to bring conditions from purchase orders to CO-PA.
I agree with Ajay except for point 1.
You can actualy trigger CO-PA posting during goods receipt (and invoice receipt) for PO.
In order to achive it you need to activate "Purchase Accounting" in MM.
SPRO -> Marterials Management -> Valuation and Account Assignment -> Account Determination -> Account Determination without Wizard -> Purchase Account Management
Please read doco for Purchasing Account. In a nutshell when you activate it system will post addtional line item for GR and IR:
Purchasing account and Purchasing Offseting account for value of purchased nmaterial and also for delivery costs.
In table T030: Purchase account(EIN), purchase offsetting account (EKG), freight purchase account (FRE).
Define EIN and FRE as cost elements and map to profitability segment in OKB9. Leave EKG as P&L account (no cost element).
Then map cost elements to value fields in COPA.
    Done.
    Cheers,
    Szymon

  • How to setup a one-time vs. monthly condition type for billing?

    Hi SD Gurus,
Our customer contracts invovle a fixed monthly charge that needs to be billed every month for the duration of the contract.
I've set this up successfully through a condition type.  My condition type is setup as periodic billing.
Our customer contracts also involve a fixed one-time charge (e.g. setup fees).
My requirement stipulates that when our sales department creates a sales order, the system should automatically populate the one-time charge along with the the monthly charges.
I'm having trouble with this requirement.  I would like to know how I can configure the system so that the condition type shows up only for the first month.  In my configuration, the one-time fee shows up for all the months.
    Thanks!

Yes, I think my command is good to setup a service.
But this service is a load balance service.
Through this service, all the connections will be put at both nodes.
Currently, my requirement is that I need a service
Through this service, all the connections will only be put at one node,
    until this node damaged,
then the connections are put at another node
Do we have a way for this case?
Your service will not run on both nodes. It will run on one and failover to the other. However, a better way would be to define it as a policy manged service, which may be what you are thinking of.

  • Statistic Condition Type inactive when duplicated

    Hi gurus,
I wonder if there's any way to make a statistic condition type become inactive when the user inserts another equal one.
    Example:
Here is my procedure: ZP0001 with this condition type ZC01 set statistic.
If I create a new sales order and I insert this condition in the procedure twice, the system does NOT deactivate any of them. It just let them occur at the same time.
If I go like this with a non statistic condition type, then the system deactivate all duplicated types and only remains the last one inserted.
Do you know if this behaviour is possible for statistic condition types in any way?
    Thanks in advance,
    John

    Hi,
a statistical condition type can not be inactive because it is not taken into account in the calculation per definition as statistical.
One more sentence to clarify to the sentence before. It will be inactive but still displayed - as this is the nature of a statistical condition.
So far so good. But I know exactly what your problem is, when your statistical condition type is present twice you would like to surpress the earlier record.
We had a similar requirment once. We had two different statistical condition types which were displayed at the same time.
The requirement was to only display one of the two condition types. When A was present B should not be shown. I tried with condition exclusion but it did not work for statsitical conditions (as they can not be set inactive...). But it worked very good with a pricing requirement we created ourselves.
    Good Luck.

  • CIN condition types

    Hello freinds,
Could somebody explain which standard condition types can be used for VAT and CST for Indian scenarios?
Also we have a scenario of local sales tax called as Entry tax, which condition types can be refered while creating it.
    Thanks

    Hi
Although you can get lot of documents , brief about the same
SD tax conditions are defined for VAT  with condition category D.
    JIN 6 u2013 A/R VAT Payable.
JIN 7 u2013 A/R CST Payable under VAT.
    JIN8  - A/R CST Payable under VAT.
    1.     Tax calculation procedure must have all your tax condition types and must be assigned to the country of the delivering plant.
    2.     Tax Master records are maintained via FTXP for a combination of country + tax code + Tax Jurisdiction codes. Eg. JIN1 : 20% for a combination of IN-V3-IN00
    3.     Create UTXJ condition type and assign to country India and put this in SD pricing procedure.
    4.     UTXJ condition records contain the tax code.
    5.     Put all active condition types in the tax code found by UTXJ in the SD pricing procedure.
    FI :
    1.     Assign country to tax calculation procedure and create tax codes for country and tax jurisdiction codes.
    2.     In SD, assign UTXJ to country. Maintain UTXJ in SD Pricing and maintain tax code for UTXJ as its condition record.
    3.     Put all active tax condition types in the SD Pricing Procedure
    4.     Tax Account is configured for the FI acount key assigned to the FI tax condition type.
    5.     SD master data for taxes include material tax classification, customer tax classification, region of delivering plant.  (note : this is only used for UTXJ to find the tax code).

  • RAM only some combinations? Issues...

    Hey,
I just installed a new kingston 2gb stick of RAM into my 1st gen macbook pro.
Originally i had two 512 cards in there.
when i turn my computer on with just the 2gb in, it's fine.
but when i include either one of the 512s additionally, i'm met with a black screen and solid 'on' sleep indicator light when i start up.
Are there only certain combinations of RAM that can be used? Like maybe only 2gb/1gb or 2gb/2gb?
I can't imagine apple's original samsung ram went bad that suddenly? it has worked fine thusfar.
Any knowledge would be appreciated, thanks.

Core Duo-based MBPs like yours can only support a *maximum of 2 GB of RAM*. It's a limitation of the Core Duo chipset and memory controller.
As you found, you can run with a single 2 GB stick and an empty slot. You'll get slightly better performance with 2 x 1 GB slots (dual-channel mode gives a slight improvement compared to a single stick). Note that the single 2 GB stick is better than 1 GB total, I'm just suggesting that 2 x 1 GB will be even slightly better than that.
    Hope this helps...

  • Problem in Sales Order with specific condition type.

    Hello Experts,
I'm facing a problem in sales order creation for a specific condition type.
the actual scenario is as below,
We have created a new condition type for special discount. This condtion type is applicable only for specific sales channels. Also the discount percentage has to fetched from a custom table.
To achieve this I've written a user exit "RV64A999"
In the FM, i've calculated the subtotal and fetched the discount percentage and calculated the discount amount. After implementing this, the SO were been created properly. for all the line items the discount amount was getting calculated properly.
But then I added a condition at the top of code in exit that the calculation for the new condition type should happen only for selected sales channels.
But after adding this condition in code, i'm facing problem. Now when I create/ change any SO, the discount amounts are getting calculated incorrectly. I'm getting discount amount even if the line item subtotal amount is zero (0).
Any help or pointers reagrding this issue will be very helpful and highly appreciated.

    Hi ..
Check your config. again or debug the routine code with your ABAPer and find the problem area.
