Configuration of startWebLogic / setDomainEnv files in 8.1

I've been having some difficulty installing Documentum on Weblogic 8.1 on Windows Server 2003. The difficulties stem from the Documentum installer's assumption that there will be a single startWebLogic.cmd file present in the domain directory that contains a line where JAVA_HOME is set. However, I have noted that the particular configuration that I've created based on a development version of the Weblogic Platform domain contains two files - a startWebLogic file and a separate setDomainEnv.cmd file that is called from the startWebLogic file. I have also seen other configurations in which a setEnv.cmd file is produced instead of the setDomainEnv.cmd file. Does anyone know what the complete list of configuration files are for the various templates and configurations (production or development) that are produced by the Configuration Wizard, or alternatively, what makes the Configuration Wizard decided to include a direct reference to JAVA_HOME in some configurations or make a call to setDomainEnv in others? To meet your own requirement, you can firstly change the ConfigurationFile.ini file which is generated by SQL Server setup wizard. Then users can install SQL Server with the new ConfigurationFile.ini file via installer wizard as follows.
Go to SQL Server Installation Center and click on the Advanced page. Click on Install based on configuration file, specify the location of the ConfigurationFile.ini file and the SQL Server setup.exe location. You can find setup.exe at the root level of the
SQL Server installation media.
Like a normal installation you can see all the screens with the prefilled information and this gives you the advantage to review or make changes if needed.

Configure the log4j.xml file

I am trying to configure the log4j.xml file, so that i can get differnet logging messages based on the level to different log files. for ex: info messages in info.log, debug messages in debug.log and so on...i tried using the below...but, no luck.

I'm not 100% sure this is possible with log4j, but if it is then you've still got some errors in your log4j.xml file

The log4j jar includes a DTD. You can use the free version of XMLSpy to validate your log4j.xml file against it.

C'est un peu brute de fonderie de déplacer chaque cable un après l'autre surtout quand il y'en a beaucoup comme dans ce cas précis.
Le plus simple est de laisser LabVIEW gérer la disposition via la fonction Nettoyage du diagramme qui peut être effectuée uniquement sur les éléments sélectionnés, ainsi on a une seule partie (celle qui nous intéresse) nettoyée.
Donc par Scripting on va sélectionner ce qui nous intéresse et le tour est joué.
Voir l'exemple modifié ci-joint en 8.6 qui est lié à mon exemple précédent.

Dynamic configuration required in sender file - Adapter Module

I am using Dynamic configuration inside the Module Process method in the adapter module.
We are getting an error saying Dynamic Configuration cannot be resolved.
Can anybody tell me the package to be used.

You can access the dynamic configuration in adapter module like this:
Message msg = (Message) inputModuleData.getPrincipalData();
String fileName = msg.getMessageProperty("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File", "FileName");
You do not need any addition library besides the adapter module API.

I want to Configure, FTPS connection (Secured Connection) for File Sender Adapter. Could anyone please guide me, what Information I require to configure. I just want to know what Information should I request the team inorder the configure FTPS so that it can be deployed properly.
I have checked with [SAP Help Link|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/EN/e3/94007075cae04f930cc4c034e411e1/content.htm] and while configuring the communication channel found that I need Keystore and the X.509 Certificate and Private Key. which needs to be deployed on the J2EE server by using the Visual Administrator.
Is there anything else, I need to configure.
Any help would be appreciated in this regard.

The basic things are Certificate/Keys which you already know. Usually it is enough for running a sceanrio.
However, if you have additional requirements, like FTPS for "Connection Security" for encryption, then you may need additional details like commands. Rest all settings are same as FTP.

How to configure some of VMX file configurations / VM Configuration Parameters via vCloudDirector REST API

We need to configure some settings for VM using vCloudDirector REST API other wise which can be down in 2 following ways.
1. On VCenter -> select VM ( in Power Off Mode ) -> Edit Settings -> Options -> Advanced -> General -> Configuration Parameters
     Add row with values like below
           ethernet0.ctxPerDev = 1
2. -OR- directly login to Esxi Shell .. Open VMX file ( of the VM - which can be located in /etc/vmware/hostd/vmInventory.xml ) and add entries manually.
      Follow this KB http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1714
      for editing VMX file.
We would like to know how this can be achieved using vCloud Director REST. We are using 5.5 versions for both VCD and VCenter.

This level of modification is not available via vCloud Director's API afaik. A similar question came up recently about modifying the amount of Video Memory on a VM, which you have to create some sort of custom workflow directly to vCenter/ESXi about.

Integration Directory configurations for IDOC - XI - File

I have a scenario as above: IDOC-XI-FILE
The IDOCs come from an R/3 system - NHGDDBS01.
I've configured 2 BS:
1) BS_NHGDDBS01
-> TS: NHGDDBS01, type: WebAS ABAP
-> SWCV: BASIS 6.20
2) BS_DEV1_NAUTICUS_OOTS
-> TS: TS_DEV1_NAUTICUS_OOTS, type:Third Party.
-> SWCV: SWCV_DEV1_NAUTICUS_OOTS, type: Third Party
-> PDT: PDT_NAUTICUS_OOTS
With this setup, can someone help me by showing me how to configure the Integration Directory in order to receive IDoc from R/3 (nhgddbs01)?

I followed the SAP Note.
The SAP System ID is DV1.
I've configured IDX1 with the following port:
Port: SAPDV1
Client:108
Description: <blank>
RFC_Destination: PI_001 (This RFC destination points to DV1, despite the naming. Connection test is successful)
I recreated metadata on IDX2:
IDoc Types: ZPATINFO
Source Port: SAPDV1
IDoc Types: ZADMINFO
Source Port: SAPDV1
However, when I test the message from R/3 using WE17, SM58 on R/3 it's still showing the error:
Transaction IDX1: Port SAPDV1_108, client 108, RFC Destination error.
May I know where did this error occur and how to rectify this?

 Save your entry and start the service
 In service SAP XI AF CPA Cache, check that the cacheType parameter has the value DIRECTORY
 In service SAP XI Adapter: XI, enter values for:

o xiadapter.isconfig.username - XIAFUSER
o xiadapter.isconfig.password
o xiadapter.isconfig.sapClient - 001

 On the Integration Server, use transaction SMICM to check that you have entered the correct URL for the Integration Server.
 On the Integration Server, use transaction SU01 to create a new user XIAFUSER
 Assign the role SAP_XI_AF_SERV_USER_MAIN to the user XIAFUSER
 In the Visual Administrator, check whether the user synchronization was successful
 Use the new user to log on to the Integration Server and change the initial password to master password

Standby database not configure while keep database files in different place

I have to successfully configured "PHYSICAL STANDBY DATABASE" within the TWO databases ("PRIM" and "STAN" Database) when I kept datafile, controlfile and redolog files in the same location (like, "/u01/app/oracle/oradata/prim" location .
In this successful configuration , I have to add the below two lines into the initprim.ora and initstan.ora both server respectively ...
initprim.ora:

DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT='/u01/app/oracle/oradata/stan','/u01/app/oracle/oradata/prim'
LOG_FILE_NAME_CONVERT='/u01/app/oracle/flash_recovery_area/stan','/u01/app/oracle/flash_recovery_area/prim'

I'm missing the steps you took renaming/moving the files on the primary.
Since the location of datafiles is stored in the control file the controlfile of the standby might not know the new location yet.

Dynamic configuration of Receiver FTP File channel

Hi,
The scenario is sending an IDOC from an R/3 system (using IDOC adapter) to a FTP file system. I want to dynamically configure the filename and the target directory in the following cases
1. With filename and the target directory coming as a part of the source IDOC
    structure
2. There is mapping involved (pass thru) and the file name and target directory are
    NOT a part of the source IDOC structure.
I have seen blogs which explains the situation using mapping for File-To-File scenario (Not IDOC-To-File scenario) and some blogs explaining for Http adapter and email adapter, but not for the above scenarios for IDOC-To-File Scenarion.
Your input is highly appreciated.

use Varable susbtituion in receiver file adapter
you set the Enable indicator, you can enter variables for the Target Directory and File Name Scheme. Enter the names of the variables and references in the table.
●      Enter each variable that you reference in the Target Directory and File Name Scheme fields without the surrounding percentage sign under Name of Variables in the table.
The variables can refer to attributes of the message header or elements of the message payload.
○       If the variables are to refer to an attribute of the message header, add the prefix message: to the name of the variable under Reference. You can specify the following attributes of the message header:
sender_party, sender_service, receiver_party, receiver_service, interface_name, interface_namespace,
message_id (message ID with hyphens, for example 9fbe1ff1-9a0d-11d9-8665-cbf10a126331)
message_id_hex (message ID in hexadecimal format, for example 9fbe1ff19a0d11d98665cbf10a126331)
For example, if you want to specify the interface name from the message header in the target directory or in the file name scheme, enter message:interface_name as the reference.

Configuration error opening video file.

i get the configuration error that says the software requires certain hardware or software, which is missing. AGP graphic card
i had an ati 9800 graphic card on my g4, now i get the error code. how can i solve this since my g5 duel has the apple graphic card?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled all my software of Adobe looking for a solution. After uninstall I have use the adoble cleaner with a sussessfully notice after finished. I have try some of the steps adviced here in some other forums with similar troubles but got unsuccess results. at this point I have reinstalled all my software of Adobe in Win7 64 bit: photoshop CS6 extended and Lightroom 4. In both applications find the same message error when opening video files and both applications works perfect with all other image files: tiff, jpg, raw...
for me its a weird situation that I have not found a clear answer to this problem if we think that I found other adobe users have previously noticed same or very similar experiences with the Dynamiclink Media Server and the "../../Src/directoryRegistry.cpp-283" error message. Actually I wet to Adobe and tried to download the dynamiclink media server and install it manually and there is a failure message saying something that could not install it on this computer.....
The same problem happens having or not having installe the Adobe application Manager which is now CCloud, in both cases is unable to open video files and in both cases the application crashes and have to use Ctl+Alt+Supr to close the Adobe crashed software... before and after being reinstalled a fresh version of my adobe software.
