  • Value Contract and Quantity Contract in single document type

    Hi All
Bussiness requires Value Contract and Quantity Contract in single document type.
Updating backwordly to contract on the basis of both and should give error/warning if any one of them (value or quantity) reach to contract target.
Can any body will suggest such SAP standard functionality existing or simple way to achieve it.

    Hello Vishal,
One way I could think of is to include your Value and Qty Contract into a master contract.
1st create the Master Contract, and then in the qty/value contract put the no. of the master contract in the Sales Tab, field--Master Contract.
Try this and let us know, if this helps.

  • Cube for Inventory values, prices and quantity

    Hi,
Does anybody knows some standard InfoCube that delivers Inventory values, prices and quantity?
I need something like R/3 transaction CKM3 (Material Prices Analysis CO-ML). This transaction agregates inventory quantity, value ( material price) per material/plant, you could drill-down to material moviments level.
I found a InfoCube named 0IC_C03 (Material Movements - see help link), but  i can't figure out how this cube works.

    Hi Eduardo,
Now, I am developing a new query, exactly in CKM3 format, but where you can see more than one material at once.
I am using the infocube 0COPC_C07 (Actual Costing/Material Ledger), where I can see the same information as in CKM3 transaction.
    I hope this helps,

  • Is there any standard ODS for Contract (value type and quantity type)?

We know that in MM, contract records can be categorized into two different categories, Value type and Quantiy type.  We are trying to see if there is any Contract ODS in business content that we can install which can take care of these two types of contract records that we can bring them over to BW from R3?
    Thanks

    Hi Kevin,
Please see this link,ODS looks related to your requirement. But seems its for CRM and not for MM.

  • Contracts and order

    Hi Gurus,
I am new to Contracts in SD. I have to create a contract which is entered into the order and applies to all line items. Can you please explain the configuration and flow. Should I create two sales doc types one for Contract and another for Order? Where should I make the pricing and billing settings?
    Please help. Thanks in advance.
    Rajesh

    hi,
u can create quantity contract, Value contract (value wise or material wise).
no need to create two different sales order. when u will create a sales order u can create with the reference of any of the created contract.
for quantity contract-- with t code-va41, u used the document type QC.
here u will not get any schedule line. contract have a valid date & the item category will be KMC.
For value contract by using WK1 or WK2
WK1 -with assortment module & the value contract can be made for more then one material.
item category will be WKN, To create a assortment module u need a material (dummy material)since it is a sales document. After creating a value contract u will get a contract no.
u have to create a assortment module by using t.code-WSV2
u have to maintain a different pricing procedure WK0001.
document pricing procedure is V for value contract.
After that u  can create a sales order with ref. to value contract.
or if u wont want to create with ref to value contract then u can create a sales order with the materials which are not mansion in the value contract.
WK2- this value contract type is meant for a particular material which was mansion in the contract document .
u have to proceed like same as WK1 & the item category will be WKC
I hope it will help u
    regards

  • Copy Control - Address Details from Quantity Contract to Purchase Order

    Dear Experts,
When I create a Purchase order w.r.t a Quantity Contract, in some cases the address details (such as street address, phone #, e-mail etc.) are copied from Quantity contract and in other cases they are copied from the vendor master. I compared the vendor masters and quantity contracts in both the scenarios and cannot figure why this is so.
The way I create a PO is to use the selection variant option in ME21N to pull in the Quantity contract and then 'Adopt' the details.
Is there a address copy control functionality somewhere at the vendor master level that governs this behavior?
    Examples:
    1) Vendor A has telephone 888-888-8888 on vendor master data and QC 5000001 has 999-999-9999 as telephone for the same vendor in the quantity contract. When I use this QC, 999-999-9999 copies over to PO and this is desired/correct
    2) Vendor B has telephone 888-888-8888 on vendor master data and QC 5000002 has 999-999-9999 as telephone for the same vendor in the quantity contract. When I use this QC, 888-888-8888 copies over to PO and this is not desired/incorrect
    Any insight would be helpful
    Thank You
    Siva

    Hi Arminda,
The note refers to the Plant/shipment Delivery address and I am having trouble with the communication address (supplier address, email, fax, telephone etc.) of the vendor.

  • Relationship between Contracts Core module and other contract modules

    Hi,
I am wondering the relationship between contracts core and related modules like Project contracts, sales contracts, procurement contracts and service contracts. Are they related, I mean if I want to create a project contract in projects do I need to have a core contract created in Contract core module, is this contracts core module is same Contracts module of CRM.
When I tried to develop some reports in Project contracts module in past I noticed the project contracts information is not available in one applications like OKE, it has to be taken from contracts core and contract projects database schema tables ( OKC ).
Please help me in understanding the whole scenario with respect to contracts created in various modules. Is it mandatory to have a contract created in Contracts (CRM ) module first and then the contracts in various applications?. What is contracts Core module? If I try to create a contract in Projects or any other module I will have a workbench to do it but that workbench could have been a collection of forms registered in various other applications including contracts core module in that case it becomes difficult to single out which tables it is interacting with as in many cases they are views.
Please give me a clear picture. I tried to get it from various user/implementation guides but things are not very clear. I am a developer but need to understand these procedures.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards

I think in this case : that you must demonstrate how do you know abap langage (of core SAP). And which part of SAP do you have used : experience of MM developments, stock requirement...

    Christophe.

  • Update Qty and Value in Quantity Contract

    Hi,
With reference to Quantity Contract when we i create release order the status of quantity Contract should l be changed.
    Example
Order Qty in Quantity Contract    100 pc             Value 10000
One Release order is created  with Order qty 20   Value 2000
Now in the contract where can i see open order qty and open order value.
in VTAA item category KMN -
TAN the setting has been checked for "Update Doc Flow"

    Hi,
Just try this and let me know your expected result.
    1. Go to VA42 to VA43.
    2. Enter your contract number and press document flow button.
    3. See whether the Qty and value is getting displayed or not.
    4. If not getting displayed. Do execute the below steps.
    5. In document flow screen, select your contract document.
    6. In top menu : Documen flow->View-> Items.
    7. Now, the systme will display the Qty and value of delivered/not delivered information.

  • Check on Quantity and Value in a single Contract.

    Hi All,
In standard SAP we find that either we can have a value contract (Using WK1 via VA41) or Quantiy contract (Using CQ via VA41).
Is there a possibilty of checking on both in a single contract where a warning has to come on follow on document either if Qty exceeds or Value
    Thnx
    TT

    Hi Jelena,
When I make a Quantity contract and create a release order through VA01 and say document type OR... if the qunatity exceeds then a warning message comes up..but not when the price is changed and the value exceeds.
Is there a facility where the warning comes up either if the value exceeds or the qunatity exceeds.
    Regards
    TT

  • Differentiate between quantity contract and value contract?

    Hi,
How can i differentiate between quantity contract and value contract?
The agreement type of contract is  is not MK or WK , its custom created.
    regards
    N Banu

    Hi
    In Qty Contract you limit the total quantity of items that  required for you;
It sums the partial quantities of Release Orders with the Contract as a reference.
In a Value contract, you limit the total value of items to be required when
you create Release Orders with the Contract as a reference, that is you
don't work with the quantities as in the first case, but indeed with the
quantities multiplied by the unit price you fixed in the Contract

  • Usage of Configurable material in quantity contracts

    Hi Gurus,
We have a scenario like material type is configurable material. We have to use this material while creating volume / value contracts... But in standard we  do not hvae option of determining the item categories for the combination of CQ (quantity contract) + 0002 (item category group) = nil.
Can anyone suggest me a wayout for this....
    Regards
    Bhushan

Configurable materials ae typically Made to order and stocks are created for specific orders and i believe we may not be able to maintain contracts for them. What can be done is we can explore the option of Part matching. For a particular combination we can create a standard material and create a contract for that.
    I hope this helps.

  • Absolute condition value in contract and release order

    Hi,
We are creating quantity contract. When a absolute condition (value) is entered this value is considered for release qty in the contract for calculating the unit price. But when a release order is created for this contract, the same absolute value is for the PO quantity due to which there is a difference in unit price between contract and PO.
    Please advice.

  • Value contract and pricing procedure.

    HI All,
I am working on value contracts. I have configured value contract and other related things. But I have some querries:-
    1) Can I use standard order as release order for value contract?
    2) Do I need to create a different pricing procedure for value contract?  If Yes  wont it conflict with the pricing procedure determined in the relaese orders?
    Kindly guide.
    Regards,
    Danny.

1)Can I use standard order as release order for value contract?
Ans: If you use the standard order as the release order document type, how would your restrict a particular customer for the orders (release)
For example: you have something as FOC value Contract.
Now when you can create a standard order same as the release order , how will you restrict the users from creation of orders for a particular customer.
    2) Do I need to create a different pricing procedure for value contract? If Yes wont it conflict with the pricing procedure determined in the relaese orders?
Ans: To explain the q1 better , take the example of FOC value Contract( Free of costs)
Say : you business offers free products to customers.
Now the release order will can have a different pricing procedure than the Standard.
The difference would only be a R100 condition type which will make the price as Zero but the taxes will be applicable.
This explains why you should have a different order type for release orders.
