Configuring "Include In Message" WS test pages in OC4J?
Currently all fields in my WS have these checkboxes checked on. Anybody know if there is a configuration to turn have all these checkboxes unchecked when I render the Web Service Test page.
It seems like when you submit the document and if you don't uncheck the fields where you don't have any input, the field is sent as a blank string or a string with spaces. This results in fields that are populated with blank space string instead of just a null. the only way to ensure that you aren't sending in a blank space string is to uncheck the "include in message" checkbox so that you "nil="true" the field. If you have a form with over 50+ fields, and are only filling out a fraction of those fields, unchecking these checkboxes can get cumbersome!

JDeveloper 11g/Weblogic Webservices: Is there a test page like OC4J?
Hi All,
I am using JDevelope r 11.1.2.2.0.
I have begun the process of going from a JDeveloper 10/OC4J environment, to a JDeveloper 11g/Weblogic environment.
My initial steps to migrate the code (mainly webservices) was to go through a process of generating the web services from the WSDL and the dependent schemas.
I also refactored the previous web service implementation to make it better to Unit test etc, and seperate it out from the generated stubs, as it's always a pain to regenerate the stubs.
However, this seems fine, the unit tests run fine, but when I come to deploy the the integrated weblogic server I run across a problem.
Well, not a problem as such, but in the OC4J world, you used a get a nice HTML generated page at the end point, with this you could paste XML in and submit them to the web service.
However this isn't the case in what I have produced. I am not sure what actually generated it previously, if it was jdev 10 or oc4j or something else?
Is this the intention on weblogic, or am i doing something wrong? I only get a very basic web page with a link to the WSDL ant nothing much else.
I have been banging my head against a wall for a day or so with this, and any help appreciated, it would be really useful to get that test page up.
Thanks
Norm
Edited by: user2631187 on 14-Jun-2012 06:24Additionally, there seems to be an issue with the bindings in the WSDL (see below)
We have 2 bindings and there seems only one servlet mapping in the web.xml, where in Jdeveloper 10 there were 2.

SP9 on PCK - file adapter configuration or Messaging System Test
Hi,
I have upgraded my XI 3.0 PCK from SP1 to SP9. This is fine but now I do not have the Messaging System Test JSP
(I could not install the old one).So I would like to
configure the file adapter to send to my adapter some outbound messages.
I have tried configuring the file adapter as
I do on full XI server but the file adpater on PCK
just doesn't want to recognize the binding. No error logs, nothing. Any ideas what could be wrong ?
Sincerely,
Maxim NaidenovThe configuration of the PCK is different to the XI.
You need:
Communication Channel:
-> for Sender (File)
-> for Receiver (XI) (Here you enter the URL of the XI)
sender agreement (matching sender channel and interface)
receiver agreement (matching receiver channel and interface)
As the XI needs the same configuration for partner and service as the PCK, you should create two partners for PCK and XI and assign the sender channel to the service belonging to the partner PCK and the receiver channel to the service belonging to the partner XI.
I hope that helps

I have an iMac(mid2010) running Pages v5.5.1 on OS X 10.10. Why can I not save or share documents. The error message is You can’t save the file “TEST.pages” because the volume is read only.
I get the same message when using Numbers so I presume it is a OS problemSome of your user files (not system files) have incorrect permissions or are locked. This procedure will unlock those files and reset their ownership, permissions, and access controls to the default. If you've intentionally set special values for those attributes, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it, but you do need to follow the instructions below.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Step 1
If you have more than one user, and the one in question is not an administrator, then go to Step 2.
Enter the following command in the Terminal window in the same way as before (triple-click, copy, and paste):
sudo find ~ $TMPDIR.. -exec chflags -h nouchg,nouappnd,noschg,nosappnd {} + -exec chown -h $UID {} + -exec chmod +rw {} + -exec chmod -h -N {} + -type d -exec chmod -h +x {} + 2>&-
You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command may take several minutes to run, depending on how many files you have. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2 (optional)
Take this step only if you have trouble with Step 1, if you prefer not to take it, or if it doesn't solve the problem.
Start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open. In that window, type this:
res
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password window will open. You’re not going to reset a password.
Select your startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button
Select
▹ Restart

ThanksHi,
Allow ALL for the new ScriptAlias and Directory you have added in the httpd.conf file. For example ..
If you add --> ScriptAlias /custom-bin/ "/u01/applmgr/mycgi/bin/", then "/u01/applmgr/mycgi/bin/" is the directory.

HP 3180 All-in-one will print test page but nothing else
Hi,
I have a HP 3180 All-in-one connected to my desktop PC which runs on Vista OS. The printer seems to be perfectly happy to print a test page but with all other documents it feeds the paper as though it's getting ready to print, then the cartridge moves to start and nothing happens. The programs I have tried printing from include Microsoft Word 2003, Opera (to see if it was just an issue with Word) and Notepad. Google Chrome won't print either, and pops up with the ONLY error message I have recieved from any program which states : "Something went wrong when trying to print. Please check your printer and try again."
Notepad seems to print fine, as with the test page. With all the other software nothing shows up in the printer queue at all when I open the Printers and Devices window. I have run HP Diagnostics on it and that says that nothing is wrong.
Is this a problem with driver versions? I believe my boyfriend has uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times.
Any help is much appreciated.
Best regards,
BexyteaHi Bexytea - I noticed you mentioned you had run the HP diagnostics on it. Not sure which one, but if it wasn't the print diagnostic utility, I'd definitely recommend running it:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&softwareitem=mp-...
If you've already tried that utilitiy with no success, you might try installing one of the drivers that comes with Windows Vista by going into the Printers window, right clicking and selecting add printer - follow the prompts, choose HP and there is a selection for HP Photosmart 3100 series. It may not provide full functionality, but it would help narrow down the issue and might provide a workaround for the short term.
Hope that helps.

The cooperative I am a part of have a homepage made with Dreamweaver several years ago. Suddenly some of the pages stopped working with this error message:
File not found:
includes/common/lib/file_upload/KT_FileUpload.asp
Please upload the includes/ folder to the testing server.
I checked, and the file is actually missing from the web server. Do i need to purchase Dreamweaver to download this file, and is this a path worth pursuing?
Dreamweaver version: I don't know which or how to check this, could check if given the proper instructions. The page that you have shown uses one of the InterAkt extensions for Dreamweaver. Unfortunately, InterAkt was bought out by Adobe who in turn did nothing with it. The latest version was about 5 years ago and was called ADDT.

How to 'client-side include for secondary menu on page'
Hi there.
The following page refers:
test page for early
draft
The linked page is in fact a DW CS3 tmp preview file, for
that reason the CSS has been pulled into the html file by DW, it
won't look that way in the eventual page file.
After lengthy battles with the Spry Horizontal menu, I
eventually resorted to Pop Menu Magic 2 (PPM2) to generate menus.
I'm very happy with the product (I'm not looking for PPM2 support,
but rather support pertaining to CSS-driven menu's in general
relating to caching). I started out with a single main navigation
menu, which was very comprehensive - but also very big (ito file
size). I was hoping to cache a part of the menu on the client-side
to reduce download times once the site visitor has downloaded the
first page in the site (where he enters the site is not
applicable). But that proved impossible (I think...).
I then followed some advice to break up my main navigation
menu, keep only the more important stuff in there and rather
distribute the lower levels of the main menu into their own
dedicated menus. From there the page linked above.
The main menu at the top is fine, no problem there. On the
left below the masthead I've created two menus, one above the other
(it displays as a single menu but the first menu ends above the
"Other tour lists" item). The first of these two menus contains the
bulk of the heavy navigation elements (±160kb of the total
page file size of 220kb). The div info that applies to this menu =
<div id="p7PMM_2" class="p7PMMv06">. I'd love to cache this
menu, either in full or the bulk thereof, on the client-side. That
is implement a client-side include. When a visitor first enters our
site the include file with the 160kb (secondary) menu gets
downloaded together with CSS stylesheets, etc. When the visitor
links through to a following page in our site, his machine
(client-side) dishes up the menu to that next page without having
to download it from our hosting server a second time.
Is this possible and how? Any and all suggestions will be
appreciated!
Our clients are mostly wealthy and thus probably (virtually)
all have high-speed broadband connections. I seriously doubt that
any of them are running dial-up connections. Thus this issue is not
going to sink our site. But I'd love to cut page file size if
possible.
Furthermore, I'm not too worried about the small portion of
visitors that may have their javascript disabled in their browsers.
The main navigation menu at the top of the page will still allow
them to navigate the site. Much the same goes for SEO.
I've tried one or two CSI javascripts and succeeded in
actually getting the relevant tags and contents inserted in the
html document, but the javascript would then 'break'. That is all
the coding and menu contents would be there, but the javascript
won't function (menu's won't pop / fly-out). I'm a little clueless
when it comes to Javascript, and many other things :-), but I
suspect that the Javascript in the include file does not get
called. If the Javascript is kept in the html file, the menu
content (elements) in the include file arrives in the html file
after the relevant script has been called and doesn't get
rendered??
Once again any help / suggestions will be appreciated!> But that proved impossible (I
> think...).
Even without doing anything on your part, the images, the
CSS, and the
javascript is already cached client-side. You cannot cache
any of the
structural code client-side.

Web Services, hiding test page.
How do you configure Workshop 8.1 to hide the Web Services test page for deployment.
This question has been posted and answered, but the answer had to do with editing
the
web-service.xml file. Workshop does not deploy a web-service.xml file.Tim
You can change this behavior by passing notestconsole to the
startweblogic.cmd or by setting the testConsoleFlag variable to false in
the startweblogic.cmd script. Also testconsole is turned off by default for
all EAR files.
Please refer to the following document for more information on this

WebService Test page generation
Hello,
I have a question regarding WebService test page generator. I have OC4J standalone (10.1.3.3.0) configured on internal IP address like 10.x.x.x and for test reasons this server is accessible via internet.
Test page for WebService generated by application server is always generated using this internal address as host (see page source fragment below):
<p>Download the JavaScript Stub (<i>BETA</i>) for ServiceSoapHttpPort and see its documentation.</p>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://10.201.205.63:8888/testws/ServiceSoapHttpPort?ServiceSoapHttpPorttest.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
Because of this, it is impossible to run test page using external server address.
Is there any parameter or configuration file which control the way that webservice test page is generated ?
Regards
TomHello,
The test page does the best it can to reflect and provide test values,
however there are limitations. Note, this does not mean there is a
problem with your service, it is simply a limitation of the dynamically
generated test page.
You might consider your own custom home page [1]
Hope this helps,
Bruce

Hi,

To create a webservice from this WSDL, I used following ant tasks.

wsdl2service : To generate partial implementation of web service
autotype : To generate type information for the session bean which implements

My session bean uses the userdefined complex datatypes, which are defined in
XSD, as parameters for a method.(The java classes for the complex datatypes are
genrated by autotype ant task)
I could successfully generate the webservice and deploy it to BEA 8.1, but when
I open the BEA web console test-page to test the service, I get following error

this with the correct XML before invoking the service. --->
Test page is not able to generate the XML equivalent of the method parameter (complex

Can anyone help me solve the problem ?

I have checked and have the latest version of the HP All-in-one Printer Remote application and the HP Print Service Plugin applications from the Google Play store. I am using a Samsung Galaxy 5 running Android 5.0. If I print a page from my laptop using wireless to this printer, I can see the All-in-One application tracking my printer status so I know it can see the printer. The app on the phone will show the status under the printer name going from Ready to Unavailable to Ready as a document is printed and then finished. I am printing directly with local WIFI and am not using the ePrint feature.
Hello , Welcome to the HP Forums!
I hope you have a pleasant experience here. I'd like to help you with the issues you are having printing from your Samsung Galaxy S5 to your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One printer. Firstly, do you have the printer plugged directly into a wall outlet? The printer has a power moderator built in, so if it is plugged into a power surge bar or battery backup it may be getting inconsistent power. This can cause all kinds of firmware glitches (like the printer status not being broadcast properly). If that doesn't immediately resolve the issue, please follow the steps below: Network Power Reset: Let's leave the router on and unplug the power cable (NOTE: Do not reset the router.), then do the same with the printer, and shut down the computer. After a full minute, plug the router back in, wait for it to fully power up, then plug the printer back in and wait for the wireless light to become solid. Once both the router and printer are on, go ahead and turn the computer back on. Doing this will refresh the network connection. Restore Network Defaults and Reconnect: 1. On the front panel of the printer, touch your wireless icon at the top2. Select Settings.3. Select Restore Network Defaults.4. Restart your printer.5. Once it's booted back up, touch the wireless icon again.6. Select Settings.7. Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the prompts to enter your wireless network details.8. Try enabling the web services again. Another thing I would suggest, would be to download the HP ePrint app, rather than the All-in-One Remote. The Remote is moreso suited for scanning to your phone from your product, so I would suggest trying the ePrint app (you can download it from the Play Store). If the issue persists after these steps, please answer the following questions so I'm better able to assist: Are you able to print reliably from any other devices on your network? What brand and model of router are you using? What is it that you are trying to print? (ie. E-mail, photo, document)What app are you printing from? (Some Android apps have a direct printing feature)I look forward to hearing back from you and working towards a resolution to this issue!Have a great weekend. -

Servlet web service endpoint 'AAEWebService' failure
java.lang.RuntimeException: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException
at org.aae.jose.bd.AAEWebService.<init>(AAEWebService.java:50)
at sun.reflect.NativeConstructorAccessorImpl.newIn  Hello,
you can check it at GlassFish Admin console (usually running on port 4848).
You need to log on to Admin console with the (default) or changed password (depends if you changed it during installation).
There you could see your web service deployed (usually in the "folder" Web services).
If you can see it you should see also wsdl - for your web service.

HP Officejet Pro 8500A Premium will not print docs from computer, but will print a test page. I continually get a message that the computer cannot communicate with the printer. Not only will it not print docs, it will not print web pages using IE 11 or Google Chrome.
I've used Print and Scan Doctor, it always reports there are no issues and prints a test page even though I can't print anything else.
Each time I want to print, I must reboot the computer. After reboot I have one chance to print. This problem started February 15, 2015.
My operating system is Windows 8.1. I have unintalled the HP software, rebooted, then reinstalled the software:
OJ8500_A910_1315-1.exe
HP Print and Scan Doctor - HPPSdr.exe
HPSupportSolutionsFramework-11.51.0049.msi
All versions were last downloaded on April 4, 2015.
I have a home wireless network (Ubee DDW366 router). All other devices in the house will print to the 8500A printer without issues: 2 Toshiba laptops, 2 Android phones, and 1FireHD.
The desk top is installed with a Netgear Network card I don't know the model, but I had it tested by a PC Tech to confirm that the card is working. The card and Windows 8.1 were installed on January 3, 2015.
I have run virus scans and malware scans. Each time they show there are no issues with my desktop. What kind of desktop? Specifically made to my specs from store parts. . . no brand name computer. ASUS Motherboard P6X580 Premium. Now I will probably get hacked!
I am at my wits end. And it is frustrating when I need to make a print of something and the system locks up. I often resort to screen printing to a word document to save in order to reboot. . . .but then I lose all sorts of capabilites when I salvage what I needed. Also this is a time consumer.
This printer has served us well for two years and I have expensive cartridges waiting; another two rounds of refills.
Help?
Addendum: I can scan using HP Printer Assistance. I open the HP Printer assistant, it "retrieves" info from the printer, then I select "scan a document or photo" and the printer responds. I have no trouble with scanning.
This question was solved.
View Solution.Hi ArielAce , thanks for getting back to me!
I would recommend downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
