This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

after i use 4.3.3 for iphone 4. the notification for facebook and yahoo do not work. what is wrong? anyone can help?
I am also on my forth hard drive on the same model.
When I unpacked the computer, the hard drive did not include OS X either. Actually, it was completely blank. Did not even have a partition table! I have also had random problems with the machine not charging.
I have replaced the drive myself with an SSD after figuring the Apple Certified technicians were incompetent. Now even the SSD is starting to fail
I have bought an HP laptop and setup Ubuntu on it. Hope it turns out better than my previous four various Mac models. All have had various repeating hardware issues that Apple Certified technicians have been unable or unwilling to correct. -

Mail on OSX10.7.3 rejects my pswrd with the following message " iCloud IMAP server “p02-imap.mail.me.com” rejected the password for user xx."
This has started this morning. The account on OSx10.7.3 had been working with no problems before today.
The mail connection doctor shows a green light against iCloud service. I can access the mail service with the same account details on an iPad or using safari to access mail on icloud.com.
What is wrong?I am seeing the same erratic behavior across all my devices (2 mountian lion macs, iphone).
however, I am able to receive new mail (although maybe some is not getting to me?)
I am seegin behaviors like archive folder empty, vips, empty, mail on mac repeatedly showing mail activitiy downloading all (thousands) of messages. On my iphone, intermittently i have no folders other than my inbox. i refresh and somethimes they come back.

I got a replacement to my daughter’s iPad mini in September b/c her 1st one stopped working and now it happened again. I took it to the Apple store and i was told that there's nothing they can do. What's wrong with the iPad minis?

Is it possible your daughter abused the device? If it gets dropped, even in a damage proof case, it is a shock to the iPad. Most survive, but if it happens often, it might be a problem.
Charging often, not completely, leaving in charger while in use a lot?

You have a few options: restore back to Snow Leopard from the backup you made before you installed Lion; upgrade to Office for Mac 2011; install Pages from the Mac App Store; use TextEdit; install one of the many open source Office replacements that can found. -
I need advice on this. I have looked at most communities and almost none answer my questions, I have restarted my computer a billion times and I have a brand new USB Cord, the only thing I have done is updated iTunes. (FYI:I have an iPhone 4, works fine, only thing is it won't connect to my computer anymore) And like I said, my work PC has a un-updated version of iTunes on it and my iPhone connects fine, maybe iTunes software is problem?

Can't get TouchEvent to work, what is wrong with my code?

I am trying to get a touch event to trigger. Using my Motorola Droid 2 phone, I can get a MouseEvent to trigger, but I can't get a TouchEvent to trigger that would change text on screen.
I am using an AIR For Android Template in Flash Pro CS5.
Here is my code:

Edit: Nevermind, I figured something out. I imported Multitouch and MultitouchInputMode, then set Multitouch.inputMode to MultitouchInputMode.TOUCH_POINT and then replaced TouchEvent.TOUCH_TAP with TouchEvent.TOUCH_BEGIN. I'm gussing TOUCH_TAP is buggy because it didn't work even after making the previous changes. Regardless, TOUCH_BEGIN works for what I need.Hello,
