I have a IPAD 2. I have no problem connecting it anywhere except at home. I have no problem connecting my laptop at home but cannot get my Ipad to connect. I had a regular IPAD before and it would not connect at home either. I have put the password in and done everything that you would typically do.. HELP

That document is describing what you say you are already seeing. It is talking about enabling the air play button in "apps like Videos, Music etc" as you described. So if you have the AirPlay button showing up in the iOS music and video players is it working as it is supposed to. So what is it you are not seeing?

You're using an original iPad? Definitely upgrade to the newest version of iOS. Many apps will require iOS 5.1.1 and it will run fine on your iPad.

Apple, please fix your connectivity problem for the iPad Air 2! Your OS 8.2 did nothing to fix this!! Very frustrating to not be able to connect to wifi some days!

thank you for responding. My specific wifi issue is that my connection will disconnect then reconnect in a matter of minutes of each other. After an hour of this back and forth dance of connections it finally stays disconnected. I can go two weeks without this issue then it will start up again for a day or 2. I have done all the basic troubleshooting.. Including checking and restarting my modem and router. Our iPad mini does not have these issues. None of our laptops/iPhones or xbox have connectivity issues. I have found many other iPad Air 2 users complaining of the same iconnection problems on various blogs. One blog had even discussed the ios update and how they were surprised it did not include a bug fix for this connectivity problem.

TS1398 Connection problems with iPad 2

I have an iPad 2. It connected with my wi-fi network for weeks without a problem but now will not connect at all. It always comes up with "unable to connect with "name of router/Wi-Fi""
The iPad connects well with other networks and my friends ipad connects well with my network, so the network is not a problem. It is just my iPad2 with my network. I have reset the router and the iPad. I have tried everything I can think of. Re-entered the network with checked settings (that work on my friends iPad 3) Updated all the softwear as neccessary Any help would be gratefully appreciated as even going in to our local Apple dealer did not get me anywhere, they connected instantly with their network.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

When Am connecting my Ipad to wifi, entire connection is lost, ie all those who have connected through that particular router is loosing the connectivity..everytime I have to restart the router after 3-4 times , connection will be stable for some time. This problem persist everytime I switch on my Ipad (Same happens when my friend also switch on his Ipad). Please do help to fix this issue.

Can anyone tell me when or if there will be a camera connection kit for the iPad 2? The kits that were release for the iPad do not fit properly in the iPad 2. There is a large gap and I am worried it will eventually cause damage to the port. I could not find much online so I thought I would ask here. Thanks

There is only one connection kit, and do not seem to be any plans for adding an additional kit. Just like the 30 pin sync connector, the connection seems limited, but was never designed to leave the connector in place, especially while carting the device around. I use my original camera kit with my iPad 2, without issues.

We're seeing spotty connectivity from our iPad - sometimes it works fine, other times it can't get to any websites. Looking at our wireless router logs, I found a bunch of messages like this for the iPad's address:
"Blocked incoming TCP packet from 192.168.0.140:52023 to 74.125.0.222:80 with unexpected acknowledgement 3307518865 (expected 3307530074 to 3307595610)"
What does this indicate and how can I fix it?
Searching a bit, I found recommendations to disable SPI on the router's firewall, but I don't see any option for doing that on the DI-634M's admin pages.
Any help appreciated - thanks.

The MobiServer.war is available in Service pack 2 patch 9 or 11. (SP 2.9 or SP 2.11) (I am not very sure about which patch 9 or 11 so better take patch 11)
Please apply the Patch and you will have deployable MobiServer.war is your set up.

The problem is that it works fine on one ipad2 and not on the other ipad2 I have. All photos show up on one and not the other.

You're referring to the cheap Chinese knock-offs available thru, say, Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&camp=1789&tag=macrumors -20&creative=9325&path=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FCamera-Connection-Adapter-M icroSD-Reader%2Fdp%2FB004J22FM6 ?
Don't purchase them, they're unreliable and incompatible. I also have the Amazon one and it doesn't work for more than 2-3 minutes with my iPads.
All in all, I'd stay away from third-party adapters. Fortunately, Apple's own adapters (the official Camera Connection Kit) aren't that expensive.

Excel Data Connection problem for posting Excel on SharePoint 2013

I tried to post an Excel file to a SharePoint 2013 site. The file has a column with VLOOKUP formula to look for data from another Excel file posted on the same site. However, once I open the file, it'll show the following message:
"We can't connect to '[link to file on onedrive/sharepoint]'. Please make sure you're using the correct
web address"
I don't recognize the website on this error message and there is no data linked to it. If I click OK, it'll show the following error message:
"Microsoft Excel cannot access the file '[link to file on onedrive/sharepoint]'. There are several possible reasons:
- The file name or path does not exist
- The file is being used by another program
- The workbook you are trying to save has the same name as a currently open workbook"
I tried to create another Library and post the file but it still shows me the same error message. I urgently need to fix this error as the file is viewed by several directors. Can someone help??? Thanks a lot!!

Currently, when a workbook that contains a Data Model is published to a library in Office 365, data refresh is unavailable.
However, you can use a PowerShell script to configure a workaround.

Wireless Connection Problems for Home Hub 3 and Vi...

We have upgraded from BT Home Hub 2 to version 3 and had a BT man (engineer) visit to set it up. He did so with no problems on our PC (wired, runnning XP) and installed all relevant software on the PC and this is connected which so far has been fast (enough - as expected) and reliable. Once the 'main' computer in the house was connected we then tried to connect other things to the internet using this BT Hub 3.
However when attempting to connect our family laptop (running Vista) we hit trouble. Initially I tried to use the icon in the tray (bottom right of the screen) by clicking on connect to a network, then selecting our hub, then inputting the wireless key and going through the menus correctly. It would only connect 'locally' and not recognise the hub. It says identifying then says unidentified (public network BT Hub 3) and only 'local' access which I then change to private network. With my preivious internet I was able to set it up as Home network - now I can only choose between public or private BUT NOT Home, Work or Public.
So I then tried the BT disc that comes with the hub into the laptop. I go through the menus - it asks is the broadband light steady blue? Yes. Click next to continue wireless set up. So I press continue. It then asks for the wireless network/SSID BTHub3- numbers and letters and the wireless key. So I put that in correctly (double checking) and click next. It then says Connecting to your Hub which then gets ticked but then the checking wireless key doesn't tick - it crosses, and says failed. It asks me to check I typed the numbers and letters correctly (I am sure of that) and It goes to Manuel set up. Where I select my hub and again type in the wireless key and click next. But the same thing happens - connecting to your hub gets ticked but checking wireless key fails.
I then get a message that says i should do a wired set up, which I can do and works but on the laptop wired solutions is just not satisfactory - laptops need wireless connectivity. Is this a problem with my laptop, Vista or the hub/modem or a combination.
I also have been able to connect other things to the internet such as a netbook (running Windows 7) and a games console. Please comment if anthing needs explaining or more detail. Your help will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

John46: I uninstalled the Hub programmes you said to. I then tried to connect to a network (wirelessly - accessed either by going to Start - Connect to or from the icon in the tray (bottom right). I selected my hub and clicked connect. It does its thing and says 'successfully connected to...' I close that and go onto Network and Sharing Center and it shows its trying to identify the network and wait a few seconds it then shows 'unidentified network (public network)...' and that I have only got local access and so cannot surf the web.
As I mentioned in my earlier post:
With my previous Internet I was able to set it up as Home network - now I can only choose between public or private BUT not got the choice between Home, Work or Public.

We are trying to establish an FTPS/SSL connection with one of our customers from our XI(Unix) system, and are receive following error:
iaik.security.ssl.SSLException: Server certificate rejected by ChainVerifier
Communication Channel Parameters:
Connection Security: FTP (FTP Using SSL/TLS) for Control Connection or FTP (FTP Using SSL/TLS) for Control Connection and Data Connection
Command Order: AUTH TLS, USER, PASS, PBSZ, PROT
Checkbox - Use X.509 Certificate.... checked (Certificate was provided by third party (customer issued) and uploaded to service_ssl certificate store on J2EE server)
Data Connection: Passive
Port: 10021
Keystore: service_ssl
X.509 Certificate & Private Key: ssl-credentials
Note: Initial handshaking occurs but connection is being dropped by the third party FTP Server when SSL certificate credentials are being validated. We also tried connecting to the third party FTPS server using standard FTPS client(FileZilla software), this connection gets established successfully with no certificate issues which means certificate and third party FTP Server is functioning correctly.
We therefore are thinking that the problem lies with our XI system being unable to load the certificate information correctly at the point when FTPS session is being established.
Your help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hello All,
Further in order to test connection set up and communication channel configuration we tried simulating the FTP connection locally by configuring FTP Server using FileZilla at a local machine and accessed it from Client's XI Server.
This set up simulates the problem we encounter with our customer's FTP Server.
If connection security parameter in communication channel for Sender FTP Adapter is set to "FTPs( FTP Using SSL/TLS) with Control Connection" only, file gets successfully created with data at the FTP server but as soon as we switch the connection security parameter to "FTPs( FTP Using SSL/TLS) with Control and Data Connection", we receive error "Certificate rejected by Chain Verifier". The initial handshaking happens successfully and file gets created at the FTP Server but its empty, connection fails when attempt is made to write data into file and we end up with said error thereby closing the connection.
This is what the FTP (FileZilla) sees when the XI system attempts to set-up a fully encrypted data (FTPS) connection i.e., connection security parameter value as"FTPs( FTP Using SSL/TLS) with Control and Data Connection" :-
