Apple does not offer custom colors. I'd suggest you get a skin for your iPod. Those are available in hundreds of colors and patterns and since they're not permanent, they don't affect the iPod's warranty and you can change if you ever get tired of the skin you chose.

  • Contact Apple for replacement disc?

So, because of assorted crashing issues, last night I took the step to re-install Leopard. Unfortunately, I've tried 7 times and 7 times the install has failed at different points and for different reasons.
Sometimes (not always) I get a message that the Leopard disc is damaged (which I find hard to believe since it works just fine as a boot disc when I needed to run Disk Utility) and that I should contact Apple for a replacement.
Anyone have any experience with this? Do I just walk into my local Apple store and say "give me a new disc?"
And while we're at it, any advice on steps that could help with the installation would be appreciated. I had a few issues right after I bought Leopard and I can't remember what ended up being the solution. I have taken the step to unplug every firewire / usb device from the computer.

I did, and did get an error message. After that first time I skipped the verification process, hoping that it might sneak through.
Contacting Apple Care now about a new disc. Any other advice in the meantime would be appreciated.
Have to say this is the only time I've had issues with an Apple product. Trying to keep that positive thought in my head.

You would have to contact Apple in order to do that. Just use this link to ask Apple for a refund: http://www.apple.com/support/contact/

  • Trying to make a purchase on itunes and keep getting prompted to verify account information, when I do that, it says to fix errors, then to contact apple support, any ideas or know how to fix this?

Trying to make a purchase on itunes and keep getting prompted to verify account information.  I've done this and when i click done, it says to fix errors; i repeat the process then it says to contact apple support.  Any ideas or other experiences with this?  I've had this happen before and it got resolved after i called them and it took a few days, not very convenient.  The same thing happened when I was just trying to update my account info with a new billing / account address.
    Thanks

You will need to do what it says, contact iTunes Support. These are user-to-user support forums, if you thought you were contacting Apple by posting here. Go here:

  • How to contact Apple for Garage Band iPad bugs?

I looked around a little bit, but couldn't find a place to report Garage Band bugs or contact Apple support for Garage Band iPad. I wanted to notify Apple of the problem that bluetooth audio output in Garage Band does not work. (Yes I am aware of the latency, however, this would still appear to be a bug in Garage Band if a user has explicitly set audio output to bluetooth. Not all applications fo Garage Band require zero latency.)

  • Contact Apple for Battery replacement? How.

First let me say that I have the rudest Apple store in the history of the world, it's in the Tampa International Mall. My first encounter was with their salesman, Joe, who told me that I should wait to purchase the newest PB in Feb. and that the G4 PB 1.67 was not what I wanted.
I have had nothing but trouble with Apple, but I keep trying to appreciate what they have done and continue to do for my industry -- Newspaper/Photojournalism.
The first week having my PB the 'N' key broke off of my keypad. I went into the Apple Store and the assistant Manager, Nanc (that's really how it's spelled), looked at me and said that she believed I was out of my 14 day warranty without looking at my receipt, which I had ready to present to her. After they noticed my PB was under warranty, they told me it would be roughly five hours to replace my letter.
Oh thanks for the reminder-- and now after two months, my battery holds a full charge for about 34 minutes in 'better battery life' mode. So how can I contact Apple with out having to go to the store, and have them send me a new working battery?
    Thanks,
    Erick Bauman
    1.67 powerbook, 1gig ram 100g 7200.   Mac OS X (10.4.3)

Why would I listen to Joe? I needed my first PB in October to start my career; furthermore I needed to prepare myself for an industry that utilizes Macs -- to which I was not accustomed. So listening to Joe was not an option, I find it strange practice to criticize and speak harshly of a product your employer sales.
As for ruining someone else's day, how would this be so? I only want what rightly I should be entitled to-- a working battery. Is that really to much to ask?

  • Should I contact Apple for a refund, or is it too much trouble than it is worth?

I selected an album to download it onto my iPad that I had purchased before.  It had a different album cover, but same exact songs on it.  ITunes stores charged me, and did not detect I had purchased it before.  My iPad 2 is not unlocked, or jail-broken.  I'm a disabled veteran, living on my small VA benefits, and this download has taken the last bit of money I had, I was not expecting to have to pay for something I've already purchased.  Is it worth contacting Apple, and seeking a refund, or give up now? Thank you, and God Bless.

Hi, I'd stick wit N97 at least another 3/4 months, wait 'till there are a few more user opinions and reviews on both 'new' phones, let some of the bugs get ironed out, then make your choice ( unfortunately there may be even more choice by then), I would just hang back a bit and make sure you are getting what you expect.
    Good Luck

  • I have contacted apple for more than 5 times, but no reply

Hi , i have renewed my iphone developer program for 99$ , But i used to get the message that "my account is expired please renew it" , later now my apps too disappeared in appstore.I have contacted apple support for more than 5 times, but no reply. What is happening. Can some one please explain please.

"Apple will fix all these problems during a week."
    Or not.
There are many devs who still have NO access to ANY part of the developer website.
Apple is aware of this (a dev support person telephoned me last week) but, so far, there is no fix or work-around.
It may be true that the developer site has access for SOME subscribers; it is NOT true that everyone is able to get resources shown as "online" on the status page -- many of us have ZERO access.
So, when Apple says 'this week' you have to balance that with the FACT that their assessment of the current status, ie. everyone has limited access now, is wrong/untruthful.
Anyone who doubts this should simply look at other posts in this forum -- lots of folks can't get into the site -- just an infinite loop from login to grey linen maintenance page and back.

  • HT201328 I contacted my carrier and they says: We have provided all the information we can. Please contact Apple for further support. ^JG

I contacted my carrier which is swisscom of switzerland and they told me only to restore my iphone with a non swisscom card but I didnt get my unlock, now im stuck in the setup as a new iphone, I contacted them again gave them my imei and they responded to me try to contact apple , idk what to do now. Any kind of suggest or help would be great. Thanks, with all respect !

What could you do to my imei ? Or maybe not you but somebody else
And yes the iphone has never been jailbroken .
1). What do expect to accomplish by posting your IMEI here? There is no one from Apple on this forum and Apple does not monitor it. Apple does not unlock phones; the carrier does.
2). As you have stated that your phone is unlocked as evidenced by the message on iTunes, you can be pretty sure it is, unless as diesel vdub has stated it was hacked/jaibroken in the past or the computer used to sync/unlock the phone was used with another previously hacked/jailbroken phone.
3). Since we can assume you phone is unlocked, then the problem must be with your SIM. Either:
    a). It is damaged
b). It has not been activated by the carrier
c). It is from a carrier that does not support the iPhone.
On another post, I asked what carrier you are now attempting to use and you have not answered the question.

  • How to contact Apple for de-authroizing all computers?

I need to de-authroize all of my computers on my iTunes account.  But it says I can only do this once a year.  And I can't find any other way to contact apple other than this community.  I have no access to a phone because I am in Korea right now....any help??

Go to expresslane.apple.com.  Click iTunes >> iTunes Store >> Account Management >> the topic is not listed >> enter topic title >> enter >> continue >> email.  Fill in the blanks and click Continue.
Keep in mind, they're under no obligation to grant you any exception to the 1 year rule.
