Contact Person not generated in PCUI
Hi guys,
We have implemented CRM 5.0 for Activity management. and end users are working in PCUI 5.0 . When the user is trying to create an account in PCUI and trying to maintain a relationship for contact person the ID no. for contact person is not getting generated and incase if it generates also when you try to save it it is not saving and this is hapening only to some users.can you guys give some inputs regarding this.

Hi Raju,
if it is only happening to some users, it might be caused by missing authorisations. Try checking the roles for the users (in Portal and CRM Online!) and compare whether the ones where it is working have a different role constellation than the ones where it is NOT working.

Contact persons not created with partner function in R/3
When we create a contact person in CRM and assign this to a business partner, and assign a sales area and partner function in the usage tab, the contact person is replicated to R/3 correctly. However in R/3 the corresponding partner function is not created. This also happens to other BP relationships (ship-to, bill-to etc.).
Does anyone have a solution for out issue?

Hi experts,
How to save more than one contact persons in CRM opportunity Application?
I am using following Function Module...
CALL FUNCTION 'CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN'
EXPORTING

I am giving the input field name as 'PARTNER_FCT', 'PARTNER_NO', 'DISPLAY_TYPE', 'NO_TYPE', 'MAIN_PARTNER' and 'RELATION_PARTNER'.
The problem is it is saving only one contact person, not more than one.
Please help me how to save more than one contact persons.In SPRO partner processing this needs to be configured.

Combined reports: activities and contact person related accounts
Hello,
I created a combined report that should show following things:
Appointment data, all Related Users, all Related Contact Persons and the companies which are assigned to the Contact Persons (not the Appointment-related-Company!)
I combined it by Activities and shared activities area. To get the account information I combined it also with contact person area.
Now I have following problems:
1. The accounts are not displayed in the same line as the rest of the informations. They are only under the Activity Informations and I don't know how to link these informations.
2. One row is user and the second row is contact. If I have an activity with more contacts and more users, I get every contact shown for every user (some kind of douplicates). How can I solve this Problem?
3. I need this report as a Pivot-Table, grouped by day. When I do this and put contact and user into the measures area I have no possibility to see more than one Contact/user per activity. Is there any way to measure text?Can anyone please help in solving this issue..

Notifications not going to the contact person
Hello Friends,
Scenario - When i create an RFI Customer activity in a CSR and set its status to 'Requested Customer'', a notification (more information is required) goes to the contact person and the team lead of CRO (Customer Responsible Organization). If the customer does not reply for 3 days (in case of a High Severity CSR) or 7 days (in case of severities other than High), then reminder notifications (more information required - reminder) get triggered which go to the contact person and the team leads of CRO.
Problem - In the first case,the notification (more information is required) goes to the contact person and the team lead of CRO (Customer Responsible Organization) where as in the second case, the reminder notifications do not go to the contact person, but they go to the team leads of CRO.
Analysis - There are 2 workflows that get triggered when the RFI Customer activity in a CSR and set its status to 'Requested Customer''. The first one sends the notification (more information is required) to the contact person and team leads of CRO immediately. The other workflow checks whether the customer has replied for 3 days (in case of a High Severity CSR) or 7 days (in case of severities other than High), and then sends the notification to the contact person and team leads of the CRO. I have checked the bindings, tasks, receiver rules and the methods in both these workflows. They are exactly similar. The only difference in these workflows is the wait step added in the second workflow.
Do you have any clue as to what is the reason behind the second workflow not sending the notifications to the contact person ?

Question -->Is a mail being sent to the same email address in both workflows with SendMail, and only working in one of them?
Answer --> Yes
Question -->There must be some other difference other than the wait step.
Answer --> The difference between the 2 workflows is mentioned step by step as below -
Workflow for which the notifications are sent to the contact person and team lead of CRO
Step 1 --> Condition step whether the email address exists or not.
If No --> Sends a mail to the LDA (Local Database Administrator) to maintain the email address of the contact person
If Yes --> Goto Step 2
Step 2 --> Condition step whether the Severity of the CSR is High or not
If Yes --> Send step (to send the email notifications to the contact person and team lead of CRO)
If No --> Send step (to send the email notifications to the contact person and team lead of CRO)
Workflow for which the notifications are not sent to the contact person and team lead of CRO
Step 1 --> Condition step whether the email address exists or not.
If No --> Sends a mail to the LDA (Local Database Administrator) to maintain the email address of the contact person
If Yes --> Goto Step 2
Step 2 --> Condition step whether the Severity of the CSR is High or not
If High - Wait Step (waits for 3 days before sending the notifications to the contact person and team lead of CRO)

Step 3 --> Condition step to check the CSR Status (to check whether the customer has replied or not)
If Yes(customer replied) --> End workflow
If No (customer has not replied)--> Send step (to send the email notifications to the contact person and team lead of CRO)
Question -->How have you implemented the wait step? Does it fetch the address before or after the wait?
Answer --> The email address is fetched at the very first step.
Question -->What happens if you make a test workflow with just the Sendmail step and send to the same address?
Answer --> The notification goes to the same email address.

Campaign execution not send emails for contact persons
Hi All!
I'm facing a problem with Campaigns (communication medium - E-mail): Those are the steps i'm following:
1.Start the campaign, and on the "campaign: Schedule job" screen, i choose "immediately". If i look at the campaign details after scheduled the job, the status is now "job started".
2. To check wich mails were sent, I also had a look at the business partner account that belongs to the target group used. On the "Interaction History" block, there is a line: "Outgoing Email" - on the details of this outgoing email I can see the "To" (Receivers). And here, I have emails from the business Partner contact persons and from the business partner itself (the email that is on the header level of the business partner account, on the "main address and communication data" area). So far so good. That's exactly what i need but,
3. If i go to the tcode, i only have a send request for the business partner itself and none for his contact persons (although those emails are on the "To" line for the interaction history).
I'm working on the Webclient UI, of the CRM 7.0
Does someone knows why the emails are not being sent also for the contact persons?

InêI have achieved this by implementing the BADI : CRM_MKT_ADR_SEARCH
In this BADI's method : CHANGE_SEARCH_RESULTS you can modify the data which is being sent back to system for campaign execution.

CRM 7.0 Contact person in order not replicated to R/3
Hello all,
I am currently facing issue with contact persons in CRM orders. There are several partners in the CRM order. Standard ones like ship-to party is replicated to R/3; employee roles are also replicated into R/3 within an order; contact persons (no matter if standard or Z) are not replicated from CRM order to R/3. There is neither no error message in BDOC nor in order.
Partners are set correctly for mapping between R/3 and CRM (including Z partners) -
tables CRMPARNR (R/3) and table CRMM_BUT_CONTNO (CRM) checked; GUIDs are there
Users do change these contact persons manually sometimes.
If order changed in ERP - including contact persons adding/changing - all partner roles are transfered to CRM for an order correctly.
Any ideas??

there is an important GUID that need to be determine, the contact persons in my case need to selected via partner determination otherwise the partner gets deleted in R/3. The determination is creating the relation to the partner which is transfered to R/3 and can be checked in the BDoc. This has solved the issue -

Need some help on Web User Management functionality.
Sub: Contact person Relationship data not getting updated when we change the company (to wich contact person belong to) in ISA CRM 5.0 Web User Management.
we are currently on CRM ISA 5.0 and using Web User Managment for our B2B scenario. New creation of users is working fine. But when we want to change the company (Sold to pary) for the existing contact person, the relationship data in CRM is not getting updated and the below are the details.
Contact person No: XXXX (has a Relationship: "Is contac person for YYYY company in CRM)
Company/Sold to Party: YYYY (has a relationship "Has contact person XXXX in CRM).
When I chage the contact person's (XXXX) company from YYYY to ZZZZ,
- Relationships of the new assignment for ZZZZ in CRM not getting updated.
- Old Records in YYYY is not getting deleted (i.e. relationships.
- There is No relationship data appear in XXXX.

Our Problem:
Activity "Create Contact Person With Reference" error with message:
Step to reproduce:
1. Login to SRM JAVA as super administrator
2. Open tab "SRM Administration"
3. Using the current query, search for Business-Partner no: 30000725
4. Press "Create Contact Person with Reference"
5. Fill all required fields, tick "Is contact person" checkbox
6. Put: /SAPSRM/SUPPLIER as Role
7. Save

The first error is intriguing. The username & password is created successfully in ABAP System (Our UME is in ABAP).
QUESTIONS:
1. What cause this problem? How to trace the error?
2. We want the user have portal role automatically. How to achieve that?

Contact Person Relationship not displaying in webUI

in "Relationships", you need to eliminate the filtering in BOL
(class CL_BUPA_IL_RELATION->FILTER_RELATIONSHIPS). By creating a new
implementation class (i.e. ZL_BUPA_IL_RELATION with superclass
CL_BUPA_IL_RELATION) and entering this class in viewcluster
CRMVC_BUIL for external object BuilRelationship), you can redefine
method FILTER_RELATIONSHIPS and implement logic according to your needs
I am not able to apply the above solution, as FILTER_RELATIONSHIPS is a private method of the class CL_BUPA_IL_RELATION so how can i redefine it.

Email notification is not send to contact person in SRM 7.0

I am in SRM 7.0 and SP03. I am using program '/SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALSEND' to send notification to approver.
Email notification is not sending to contact person in SRM 7.0 after all approvers approved the shopping cart. I even enabled checkbox 'Approval of application object' for Contact person (in most cases, the creator of the document) in the SPRO-SAP Supplier Relationship Management-SRM Server-Cross Application Basic Settings-Business workflow-Process-Controled Workflow-Business Process Configuration-Define Recipient of Notifications. Am i missing something or is it how SRM 7.0 Build. I knew that this functionality is there in SRM 5.0 by activate the security level in the user settings(SU01), I also know that this setting will not work if we use Process control workflow. Any input on this..

Contact Person Replication Problem - Updating could not be completed
Dear Experts,
I'm facing the problem when replicating contact person from CRM to R/3. It only happen when changing the bp/contact person that paired (with contact person relation type) to more than 5 customer/bp and it always error when replicating to R/3.
If I trace the probelm in SMW01, the error message appreared is : Updating could not be completed. I'am affraid the workload in R/3 system is to high or the time that given for processing the BDOCS is too short.
Is there any configuration to set the time for processing the BDOCS from CRM?
Or is there any solution to solve this issue?

BP_CONT: not getting the contact person email value from custom controller

not able to find the email address in any of the context node, actually my requirement is while creating the BP contact , get the email address BP_ADDR/StandardAddress STRUCT.E_MAILSMT . take this email id and check whether this email id exists in system if exists throw the error while saving . for this I did the codin in BP_CONT component on save method but while saving some times my custom controller is getting initiated some times it was not containing any value , kindly let me know how can I get the email value of contact person in BP_CONT component in view BPCONTOverview .

PCUI - Different Text type for Accounts and Contact Persons
Hi All,
While configuring the Text Determination, how can we have different determination procedures for Accounts and Contacts. On the CRM back end side there is no distinction on the objtect type for account & contacts. Instead there is one for BP.
We defined a Text Det Proc for Object BUT000 (Business Partners) which gives us the same text types in both accounts and contact person screens in PCUI. But we want different text types. Can any one please advise.
