Contract copy

Hi all,
We have quantity contracts. Once we created sales (release) order referencing contract the open quantity from contract would be copied. In the sales order this quantity can be modified. Our client requirement is, it should not take the quantity more than the referenced quantity from contract. How to configure this.
Thanks in advance
Sri

Hi Sri,
I can tell you one more way other than using this include program.
Goto SE91 T.code.
Enter the message class as "V1".
Messages number as 501.click on change.
Select that line.
Press (CtrlShiftF3).Select the programs and uncheck remaining all.
Enter.
The program name "FV45EF0V_VBEP_MENGE_PRUEFEN_VO" will appear and double click under short description.
Change the letter "W" to "E" which is before 501 in the program.
Save.
Now it will be an error message.

Krishna.

  • Service Contract: Copy line item

Scenario: we have Service Contracts and these have line items with contract start date and end date.
Requirement: We want to create a new line item if the existing line items contract end date -- date profile's
Rewenal period value(say 10 days) equals to today's date and line item's custom field value equals to X.
Question: what are possible ways we can achieve this?
My thought was to use Actions but I am stuck with start condition. Basically I do not know how to create start conditions that involves fields from Contract Line Items and date profile's period.
    Please help.

    HI,
You can use Action Profile to achieve your requirement. However there is some enhancement invloved in it.
Create an Action profile for the item category of the service contract. Keep the Start condition as Renewal date >= Todays date.
Use processng type as method call for this action definition and create a custom class and method with the logic to copy the line item into a new line. It seems quite possible.

  • ERP invoice with reference to SRM Basic Contract?

    Hi
In SAP SRM you can create a shopping cart or a PO with reference to a SRM Basic Contract by setting the item number to 0 like: 4700000107/0
But with the new Ehp1 SAP states that ERP invoices can be created with reference to a SRM central contract (via SRM_SERVICE_PROC_1). But can you create the invoice with reference to contract item 0?
The idea is to have the non PO related invoices registrered on the basic contract in SRM along with the PO's. A basic contract can't be copied to ERP, as there is no lines on it, but is the ERP contract copy needed for this scenario?
    So two questions:
    - is the ERP contract copy from SRM needed to use the Ehp1 functionality of creating invoices with reference to a SRM contract?
    - can the ERP invoice be created with reference to a basic SRM contract by giving the contract item as 0 or in another way?
    BR
    Jacob

    Hello,
With SRM 70 EHP1 you can create ERP invoice against your SRM Central Contract distributed to ERP.
To enable this you need to do few settings in ERP, for the same you can refer to the config guides available at Service market place for SRM701 releases.
Configuring Contract Handling for Invoices : You use this procedure to configure contract handling for invoices in the SAP ERP system. You have activated the Procurement - SRM Integration 2 (LOG_MM_P2PSE_2) business function in the SAP ERP system.
    Steps :
    1. In Customizing for SAP ERP, perform the activity under :  Materials Management -- Logistics Invoice Verification -- Incoming Invoice -- Activate Direct Posting to Contracts , to allow direct references to contracts when creating invoices and parking documents.
    2. In Customizing for SAP ERP, perform the activity under : Materials Management -- Logistics Invoice Verification -- Invoice Block -- Set Tolerance Limits , to set the tolerance key for contracts (PC: Price variance for contract).
The feature is termed as Invoice Reconciliation here.

  • How to configure release procedure for rate contracts release

    Dear all,
How to configure release procedure for rate  contract following are the requirements
    they are two release codes c1 & c2 <=100000,>=100000
if  c1 is not there c2 has to be approved
Change in the value of the rate contract contract
Change in the validity of the rate contract
Addition of deletion of line items
While using a non u2013 released rate contract in the PO an error message should shoot out.
Also the logic should be changed while using the rate contract in the PO.
The usage of the rate contract should be till the validity of the rate contract. i.e. the measurement should be end date of the rate contract and the PO creation date and not the delivery date of the PO. &
It should be possible to refer existing valid rate contracts in purchase orders.
    Regards,
    bhaskar

    Hi,
In SAP rate contract is known as value contract denoted with wk. The release procedure for rate contract is same as that of other contracts and scheduling agreements. The tables  for contracts will vary with SA (Scheduling agreement) .You may try and maintain condition records based on the customer combination and maintian the validity date of condition records as per your requirement. For contract and PO will have the same header/item table as EKKO/EKPO, and the release
class in standard is the same FRG_EKKO, you can use the same for contract.
To distinguish if it's a contract or PO, EKKO-BSART can be used.
For contract EKKO-BSART will be MK or WK, while PO will have NB/UB etc..
You can restrict the document type to set up the release strategy for only contract.
Of cause, you can also create your own release class Z* for contract copying standard
one FRG_EKKO via CL01/Class type 032, and then assign the class Z* to customizing:
    OLME:
    -> contract
    ->Release Procedure for Contracts
    ->Define Release Procedure for Contracts
    ->Release Groups
If you have already created the PO release class.
Assign a new chracteristic of Document Category -BSTYP
Please check below link for detailed release procedure. I hope this wil help you out .Thanking you.

  • Sending Contract to backend

    Hi All,
We are trying to figure out PROS N CONS of two different options that can be used to send a contract to backend (as a follow on doc from bidding engine app only). These are
    1. Directly create a backend contract by using badis.
    2. Create GOA in SRM and then send it to the backend.
Currently there is a single backend and classic scenario. We want to consider the options of contract alert mgmt and adding additional backend in future.
Ques1: Please suggest what can be the better option to implement and what are advantages and disadvantages of both.
Ques 2: In option 1 the system creates a backend contract WITH NO COPY OF CONTRACT IN SRM. Is this statement true? If yes how can this be resolved as we want to have contract copy in SRM as well?
    Thanks in Advance
    Hussain

    Hi,
    it is a feasible solution:
Now when an accepted bid is converted into contract it should create a GOA and create contract in backend (here we have a single backend). So the contract is available in SRM also as GOA.
Just disable the Badi and make the GOA doc type as the follow on document for bid. The system will create an incomplete GOA, which you can complete and distribute.
The operational contract created from distribution then can be used as source of supply in R/3 and all POs placed against it are recorded in SRM.
My query is that we want to have alert mgmt to notify the purchasers about the expiring contracts and then use "Negotiate" contract function for creating a bid invitation out of expiring contract. Is this functionality possible considering the classic mode and GOA.
Yes, SRM alerts on each contract type, also on GOAs. From GOA a Bid invitation (Negotiate) can be created and the GOA can be renewed and is redistributed.
Is there any special customisation or BADI required?
Make the follow on settings in SRM to enable the right doc types as follow on document. Also make sure, that the distribution of contracts is working fine by using the BADI BBP_CTR in R/3 for conditions as well for company code (when needed). Then you are fine.
    Cheers,
    Claudia

  • Contract Usage

    Hello Gurus,
    Scenario:
I use a Contract (VA41) to address a progress billing which is linked to PS. Everytime a milestone is met, the the Contract is unblocked and billing is processed.
    Restrictions in Billing:
    - The percentage of completion (POC) in PS is arbitrary
    - Customer deducts 10% retention fee
    - There is also a recoupment of the down payment (DP) based on the percentage of completion
The above restrictions are making the billing a bit complicated.
Question: Can I use a Contract (VA41) for the same type of material and project, multiple times?
    Hoping to get some answers.
    Thank you,
    Bobit

    Hi Pete,
    Thanks for you input.
We are recrding the daily readings in Measuring points of the Equipment. At the end of the month, I could get the Total value of each Components.
    My idea is to
    1. Create a Sales order w.r.t to the Contract --> copy all the line item with rate per unit or hour
    2. User has to enter (manually) quantity of each parameter
3.System will calculate the amount for each parameter ( Qty X Rate per unit / hour)
(Rate (condition value) of 3rd parameter (Stoppage die to supplier) is negative (-200))
Is it right the right way of approaching this requirement? Is there any other possibilities available in SAP?
    Thanks,

  • Updating Pricing procedure

    Hi
I have a situation here where some of the contracts picked up wrong pricing procedure as the CMD was not set up correctly. Now the CMD is updated with the right pricing procedure, so is there any way that we can update the pricing procedure of the contracts or we need to end date the old contracts and create new ones?
    Thanks
    Syed

Like Shiva was saying you might need to recreate the contracts (copy them in new ones), so they pick up the right procedure.
You can ask you abaper for BAPI or try LSMW.

  • Copy of service plan item SPLA in contracts not working

    Hi,
    1. I have created a service plan product SP (item category group SPLA)
    2. I copied the standard trans SC -> ZSC and item category SPLA -> ZSPL
    3. I then maintained the determination as per the standard.
I have not changed any of the attributes of ZSC and ZSPL from the standard (apart from the name). But when I enter the service plan product SP as a item in ZSP (ZSPL gets determined) but I do not get the planning relevant fields such as scheduling type, scheduling rule, etc... Instead I get tabs at the item level which are for a contract product and not a plan product.
Can someone pls tell me what could be wrong since there are absolutely no changes being done to the standard and plainly a copy is created.
    Regards,
    DP.

Were you able to resolve this issue. We are facing the same.
    Thank you

  • Copy button not working properly in service contract - crmd_order tcode

    Hi experts,
I want to create a duplicate row in contract through Duplicate Button Supplied by SAP. As
I understand the function of the duplicate row button is to copy the same set of information in next row with auto incremental or manual. As far as number incremental is concern that is happening based on
customization on transaction type line item incremental sequence .
This is an upgrade project before upgradation it was working fine, you can check the same in old CRM 4.0. If you see in the Object Tab, condition tab or any other tab, no data is duplicated from parent line item. This works very well in CRM 4.0. Actually after discussing with the client i have come to know that , they also had the same issue before and SAP gave two Notes : 739462 and 740103 to resolve the issue. But now this feature is only availabe in the WEB UI in CRM 2007, and as i am upgrading to CRM 2007 this feature is not available, but my client want this feature.
I went through the SAP note , they have given some corrective instructions but it is valid till BBPCRM 500 version of the software component and mine is BBPCRM 600 . My query is, will it work if i follow the same corrective measures in the Note for my system ie. by inserting few blocks of code given in the SAP NOTE.
    please kindly help me out,
    Thank you,
    Regards,
    Arun.

    Hi,
I think you problem is in u201CBilling tabu201D which it is not showing any details on particularly billing tab. Right
Ok, as per you wording Services order having billing tab with details but Service contract does not.
If am I right, you see the below solutionu2026.
    First go to T-code: CRMC_PCUITOOLS
    Put you
    Application : CRMD_BUS2000116
    View (blview) : ZXXXXX
    Then press F8 for execute
You will see the view of particularly Leading Transaction Category and go to billing tab
See below Tab Page Group (SRV_ODP1)
    Second go to T-code: CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C
Follow this : Application Element -> Tab Page Group -> Tab Page Group Structure
Put it (SRV_ODP1) and go to billing (double click on them)
    You will see following details
    Tab Page Group       SRV_ODP1
    View                      ZXXX
    Sequence                  23
    Event                     S1O_HD_PAYMENT_BILL
    Text                      Billing
    View Switch Gro
    Multi-Group               S1O_HD_PAYMENT_BILL
    Inactive          Flag is Not Set
Follow the same for Service contract. You will see the Multi-Group missing
Put it same on that (S1O_HD_PAYMENT_BILL)

  • Sales order create/change line item with reference to contract - Open quantity not getting deducted for copied line item from the contract

    Hi friends,
Please provide some valuable inputs for the following scenario:
When a sales order line item is created(VA01) or changed(VA02) with reference to a Contract the open quantity is deducted in the contract which is a standard functionality. If the referenced line item is copied (custom enhancement to copy line item), then for the copied line item the open quantity is not getting deducted instead ATP quantity i.e. Available-to-promise is deducted.
Any inputs on how we can fix this functionality i.e. deduct the open quantity from the contract for the copied line item?
P.S. : Custom enhancement to copy line item is working fine, but open quantity is not getting deducted if the copied line item was referenced to a contract.
    Thanks,
    Sandeep

    Sandeep,
Yes, that was my original interpretation.  I was having a hard time believing that someone would ask such a question.
I guess, then, that you already know that you will have to add this logic to your enhancement. You should create your specifications and hand them off to a developer; ideally the one who created this enhanced solution in the first place.
I do not provide advice in these forums about details of enhanced solutions.  Perhaps one of the other members will be more willing to do your work for you.
