Conversion to swf not 100%

When I export my InDCS4 file to .swf I select 100% as the size, but the resulting swf is much smaller. Is there something I need to do differently? When I select 150% it cuts off the top and the bottom. You can see a sample on the web page: http://http://www.southshore-center.org/Events/events.htm

I think you should use pixels instead of percantages... you have quite clear space for your swf, measure it´s width as pixels and set same pixelwidth to your swf...
I also checked your html-wrapper´s source, it might help if you added a one parameter there:
<param name="scale" value="showall" />
In my works I have noticed that browsers/flashplayers are sometimes cutting parts of swfs embedded to html page, that parameter has helped...
put it to your html-files source if it´s possible, same place where you already have same kind of parameters..

  • SWFs not working in Player 10

I have almost 40 swfs that are not working in Flash Player
    10. They were developed in Flash 8 and only contain basic AS2 code.
I'm not sure what is wrong but some don't even show up and others
do, but with components missing or blocked out. The only thing I
can think of is that the majority of these were protected using
kindisoft's secureSWF. Please tell me there is just a bug in player
10,0,12,36. I literally have thousands of copies of the swfs out
and this is giving me a stomach ache.

    nsmchris,
    > Recompiled swfs seem to work fine.
Okay, that's some relief, at least.
So that puts me in a tough position. I have 1000's of swf
    > widgets out on hundreds of sites that will no longer
    work
    > :(.
For users who have Flash Player 10 intalled, that may be
    true.
    > Example is WiddlyTinks.com. So. How can I safe
    > obfuscate my code so others can't decompile and still be
    > compatible with future builds of the player?
To be honest, I don't know that your SWFs are safety
    obfuscated even
now. I've seen plenty of apps over the years that claim to
    obfuscate and/or
protect SWFs, but it's a never-ending game of cat and mouse,
    just like spam
filters. As soon as someone buys secureSWF and reverse
    engineers it --
which is what people who steal software do for fun -- the
    secrets of
secureSWF will be brought to light. Eventually, "secureSWF
    crackers" and
other such software will be available to effortlessly toil
    away at the
encryption used in the obfuscation of your code. Just like
    there are
legitimate products out there that recover lost ZIP or RAR
    file passwords.
There might not be anti-secureSWF software yet, but give it
    time.
As long as your SWF displays in Flash Player, it can be read
    by any
software that behaves as Flash Player does. Even when
    modified by this
third-party app, your SWF adheres to the SWF specification,
    which means it's
known territory. All software can reverse engineered. That's
    why for-pay
software always comes with an End User License Agreement that
    makes you
promise not to reverse engineer it.
This note says it all (from kindisoft's own website):
Without argument, obfuscation (or even encryption) is not 100
    percent
protection. If a hacker is persistent enough, he/she can find
    the meaning of
your code. The goal of obfuscation is to make the process of
    reverse
engineering extremely time consuming and painful so that it
    is not worth the
effort. The goal is to stop all casual hackers and as many
    serious hackers
    as possible.
    http://kindisoft.com/secureSWF/faq.php
When you started this thread, you mentioned these SWFs "only
    contain
basic AS2 code," so really ... how much of the code in your
    SWFs is worth
obfuscating? I hasten to add, I'm asking with respect for
    your work. I'm
not judging your SWFs in any way and have no idea which ones
    are yours. But
if they're basic, what's to protect?

  • I use a HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909a printer and my Safari always put 150% size as default. Wy not 100%?

I have a MacBook (the white one) and use a HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909a printer and my Safari always put 150% size as default. Wy not 100%?
When I use Firefox the default size is 100%. When I use Pages, also runs good (100%). Only in Safari, and Mail too, appears 150% as the default size.
How can I change it to 100% in both?
    THOMAS

    Hi,
The problem seems to lie in the installer, which has an unusual bad behaviour.  The installer puts the 8500 a909a in the list of USB  bootable devices.  (Not good!!!)
When the printer is disconnected it isn't a problem.  When the printer is connected the computer tries to boot from the printer and the computer hangs.
When I found the printer in the BIOS list of USB bootable devices I DISABLED that item in that list. Then it booted normally.
But now the BIOS takes an extra 30 seconds or so but boot up seems to be preceeding normally.
The guys on the CHAT and PHONE lines didn't even imagine the installer might be a problem so their advice was useless. They were blaming the computer.  More importanly, they didn't have a way to escalate the problem. They  had no capacity to respond in a flexible manner. It was like dealing with unhelpful staff in the county clerk's office.

  • When printing to Adobe PDF from Microsoft Publisher, the text on page 2 is not 100% black

    Hi there
I'm using Microsoft Publisher 2013 to print to an Adobe PDF file (I have a trial version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.)
I sent the PDF to my printing house but they can't print it because the text on page 2 is not 100% black. In Publisher, the text colour on both pages is CMYK 0/0/0/100.
I created a test file in which I copied the text from page 1 onto page 2 so both pages are identical. However, the PDF created from that file, when I click Print Production, Output Preview and de-select Process Black, all the text on page 1 disappears (as expected) but none of the text on page 2 disappears! It seems that Publisher and/or Acrobat is printing the text on page 1 correctly but not page 2. Does anyone know why? Am I doing something wrong?
Here's a link to the two files: Dropbox - ShareAdobeComm
Would much appreciate some help if anybody can please point me in the right direction. Thank you.
(I'm seriously evaluating upgrading from my current 3rd party PDF writer to Adobe.)

Do not use the PDF Maker, but print to the Adobe PDF printer and see if that meets you need. If you need some of the tools of PDF Maker, then turn on only those you need, not them all. Check to be sure that the graphics are indeed being downsampled and possibly go back and reduce the graphics you have in the WORD file so that you are at least not using millions of colors, 256 max. Also consider using straight B&W if color is not needed, or at least gray-scale.

  • Swf Not download in Browser

    Hi,
Anybody any thing idea about Swf Not Download in IE,Firefox,etc.... How do Security that SWF Files?
    Thanks

there's a swf banner at the bottom of the page.  it's positioned too far down the page, but it is displaying.  is that the problem?

  • XML MAPPING - swf not updating

When I make a change to the xml file it is not picking up the change in my published swf file.  When I open the project in CX and refresh the mapping updates.
So it is connected but when I click on "refresh" on the sxf it is not updating.
I have xml maps, added in the data connection manager, with a refresh button tied to the xml connection.  I also have the refresh on load checked in the connection manager.
    Need help.
    Thanks
    Mark

Shamim my scenario was that I wanted the SWF on a network so that a call center employee could access the file from a mapped drive, open the file direct on her/his client machine.  My problem was that I developed the file on the server machine and mapped the data connection path to the XML initially from the server, not the scenario of a client machine's path looking for the file. (not sure if cache is the right term)
Initial Path from server development..  D:\Datafiles\data.xml
The client machine(s) network path, mapped drive was Z: for example.  In the excelsius model you need to bind the data path to the excel model and hardcode the Path that the client machines will go thru to access the data.  This solved my issue perfectly.  Z or name of the mapped drive mapped to the server.
    Z:\Datafiles\data.xml
So now if your on the server machine and try to open the file from the swf you will incur the error message that correlates to the swf not being able to find the data.  From the clients works fine but not from the server machine as the path has to be exact for the swf to find the data file.
    Hope this helps.
I have a question for trying to deploy this same example on th server embedded into a swf movie player to the web.  Might have been my path issue, cross domain policy file... But I could not get it to be deployed in a website, live.  If you are familiar with this please explain to me.

  • Conversion program RFCONVTP not yet started ?

    Hi all,
My requirement is to run the t-code FMZ1 , but while i am executing this transaction im getting one status messaage as " conversion program RFCONVTP not yet started". then I run that program with out test run, even though I am not able to execute the t-code FMZ1.
please tell me how can i run the program RFCONVTP.
    Regards,

There are a lot of SAP notes for this BAPI, and none says "don't use it", so you should be fine. You could send a message to SAP pointing them to the unreleased status.

  • Why is 100% not 100%?

If I am drawing and have my window set to 100% how come when I save it as a gif and then open the file in a browser the drawing is smaller than it appeared when I was working on it in illustrator? These files are for web use so there are no screen to print considerations.
    Mark

    Larry,
The problem is not 100% screen not equal to 100% print, but 100% raster image in Illustrator not equal to 100% raster image in browser on the same monitor.
    Mark,
Is there some HTML formatting the GIF? Is that HTML also resizing it? If so, change the code to the same size as the image or export the image again using the size in the HTML.
If not, can you post a link to the image?

  • Split Cost not 100% but was able to submit

    Hello,
Can we have a hard stop or error message instead of a warning when split cost is not 100% in an Expense Report before submitting for approval?
Client is looking for this feature. Please let me know if this is feasible?
    Thanks.
    Cryssal

    Hi Cryssal,
As of now there's no chance for a customer to change that behavior of the system out of the box. There's no switch or fine tuning that would tell the system to answer to such a situation with an error message and not submitting the missing percentage points of the cost assignment to the master cost center of the user.
A customer could go ahead with PDI and implment additional checks, throwing an error message and preventing the user from submitting the expense report until the user provided a 100% split of costs. Depending on their setup they might have to do this for the Trip Request as well as for Expense Reports.

  • Conversion exit is not being executed

    Hi,
I had enhanced logistics D/S, while activating in BI , encountering error message as "Conversion exit is not being executed". Your help is appreciated.
    Thanks
    Loiske

Is it a warning or an error message? If it is a warning, you can ignore it.
[I think] the message is for an infoobject which expects a conversion exit check in the transfer rule, but it is not checked. If you identify and select the conversion for the field, this message should not appear.

  • NAC ADSSO not 100% work

    Hello,
We have a NAC System which has the ADSSO not 100% work.
Sometimes the agent pops up and ask for credentials and sometimes it logs in automatically (ADSSO works).
Does anybody have the same experience before?
    Thanks

Are you running OOB Layer-3 with Real-IP gateway? Are you running 4.1.3? Are you using Certificate Authority? If the answer is yes to all. You may want to review this http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/nac/appliance/release_notes/413/413rn.html#wp74768. Be careful though, you may also need to apply an egress ACL to block trusted vlan from sending TCP-8910 to the FQDN of the OOB-CAS's Untrusted IP. Otherwise, the CCA agent may continue to send TCP-8910 to CAS and process SSO and refresh IP continuously(looping process).

  • Why java is not 100% oops

    Hi, All
recently this question was asked in the interview that why java is not 100 % object oriented.....
    plz help me regarding this
    thanx inn advance...
    Ravi

Many, many reasons. One obvious reason being that Java uses primitives. int, char, double and the rest are not objects.

  • SWFs not loading in Air 4.0... for iOS

    Hi,
I've read some of the posts about the problem of SWFs not loading in iOS.  This seemed to have to do with the SWFs having code.  We removed code from the SWFs and In previous releases, using previous SDKs (I don't remember the last one that worked) we had everything working.  But in the latest version compiled with the latest SDK (4.0...) none of the SWFs load.
of course I'm learning about this late in the game.
One more piece of information.  I did a test with an application that just loads one codeless SWF and have exactly the same result.
If anyone has any ideas, I would be very grateful.
    Best regards,
    Chris McLaughlin

    Hi,
So code or no code external SWFs require a loader context.
I borrowed this directly from a kglad response:
         var lc:LoaderContext=new LoaderContext(false,ApplicationDomain.currentDomain,null);
When I add the LoaderContext to the loader (at least with my experimental app) the SWF loads.
    Also from kglad's example: yourloader.load(yourexternalswf.swf,lc);
    Thanks kglad.

The user can use the instant messaging features.
This problem occurs if a secure profile is enabled for the user in Cisco Unified Communications Manager while either of the following is true:
•The user is signed in to Cisco Unified Personal Communicator.
•The cucsf.exe process is running on the computer of the user, that is, Cisco Unified Personal Communicator is running, but the user has not signed in.
Ask the user to sign out of Cisco Unified Personal Communicator, then sign in again.
