Using ADF Business Components I have a JSFF page fragment with an ADF form based on a table with has a column of type CLOB. How to convert a .class file into .java file without .jad using DeJDecompil
Hi all,
I am using DeJDecompiler and working with swing applications.If I try to convert a .class file into .java file,it is converting into .jad file only.Fine but if I try to save that file into .java file,It is giving lot of errors in that program.When I went into that program the total style of the program is changed and TRY-CATCH block is not recognised by the dejdecompiler,hence If I try to include some methods in the existing .java file thus got,I could not do.Kindly help me.
If I get the .java file without error then I can process the rest of the functionality.

I have two image file in bmp file format. How to convert them into string and to check if they are differnt or same. If different how to mention or find that where the difference exists. This idea have to be extented with video application as well.

if you have vision, you could use the functin IMAQ Image to Array to have a 2D array of the pixel values.
You can then compare pixel by pixel; if your images come from a camera, I would recommend to set a treshold of acceptance.
This is a time consuming solution anyway.
Alternative methods:
1) Make a subtraction of the two images, the resulting image will be the difference of them
2 ) Use IMAQ LogDiff function (operators palette)
3) Calculate the histogram of both image and compare the histogram reports

Converting the scanner object into string object....
Hello everyone. I've finished my hw and one thing made me curious about it. I hope you can help me. Now, I've tried to make this code in NetBeans IDE 6.0:

My purpose is to take users entries to console as string and than make the letters in lower case. But, my language is turkish. So I've problem with it because there is no Locale Turkish object in IDE.
So what do you suggest. Do you know a downloadable or updatable solution for this. I knew that I can't write a code like that. I was just wondering if I could change the locale (after I initialize the string obj.) while toLowerCase().
I needed that becouse when I want to ask a question at console: I must ask it in whatever user's language is. And also get the answers in their own language. Then I'll match the answers with my answers. for example console will ask:
please enter your language? T?rk?e, English, Dutch, ?vrit, ...
and the user will enter some characters to chose their language IN THEIR OWN ALPHABET that I'll match those with the ones that I created the answers (inside the codes) in all languages.
If there is a match the program will work with that alphabet.
I was asking for an easier way to get on with this. There may be a class that I can reach any kind of alphabets. or a method maybe. -
Creating Class Instances from Strings
Folks,
I have a class called Employee. I would like to create instances of this class based on the user input in certain JTextFields in a form. For instance, if the user inputs First Name = John and Last Name = Doe, then the instance John_Doe of the Employee Class is created. I played w/ newInstance() and Class.forName() but can't seem to get that working. Does this require reflection? I just need someone to point me in the right direction.

at runtime or just the parameters?"It sounds like walker answered your immediate questions, but just to clear up this (which I guess I didn't state very clearly), what I meant was, will you sometimes be creating an Employee, and sometimes some other class, or will it only be the employee's name, etc., that's different for each one you create?
If, at the time you're writing your code, you know which class you're creating, then you don't need reflection. You just do new WhateverTheClassIs() (possibly passing parameters, such as names, to the constructor.
On the other hand, if the class to be instantiated will be determined at runtime--maybe you prompt the user for which class, and he enters "Employee"--then you need to use reflection.
You shouldn't need to worry about reflection for a while. Get the fundamentals of the language solidly under your belt before you tackle that. Good luck! :-) -
Converting premitive data types into strings
Hello everybody,
I have a small doubt. Is it possible to convert all data types like int, boolean etc to strings. I know it is possible to convert them individually. But I would like to have it a common method to convert them all. Because I am reading the whole line, so it is taking as strings. I am unable to read their original data types, all are reading as strings.
Can anybody tell me how to solve this problem?

Thanx for your answers. But as I told you before I don't know the exact data type of those. Because I am reading whole file by using DataInputStream's readLine() method. It returns the whole line as String. If there are any integer or boolean etc, it converts them as strings. So I could not read the exact data type of them.
for example:
int a = 10;
boolean b = true;
String str = "The Values are" + a + b;
this code is in one file. If I read this file from another file, the line
String str = "The Values are" + a + b;
reads as a string, but I couldn�t get the 'a' as ineger and 'b' as boolean. it gives they are of strings.

i'm writting a java program to use xslt to transform the xml file. i'm encountering the problem when i try to convert the xslt file into string. i've defined my utility class called 'XmlUtil' to carry out the operation of transform xml file through xslt. but in my main java program i need to convert both xml and xslt file into a string in order to input them in my function argument. my function argument is as follows:

}I don't understand why you need load the XML and XLS files into a String. A Transformer can be constructed from a Source and there is a StreamSouce which can be constructed from an InputStream. The transform() method can take a Source as input and can produce a Result. There is no need to go near a String representation of either the input.

i want to convert a table into string, but while convert, i found out that the string has special lenght , and i am getting only some rows of the table wihle converting, even if i am using concatinate, i got the same problem,
please let me know if there is a way to convert all the table into string and not a littel bit of it.
