ConvertNumber: Add a space after currencySymbol

Hi,
I am trying to figure out the currency converter in jsf and have come to a problem that I seem unable to resolve.
<h:outputText value="#{vehicle_types.consumerprice.value}">
     <f:convertNumber type="currency" currencySymbol="AU$"/>
</h:outputText>The above code results in eg. AU$100.00.
However, could anyone help me how I can make sure that a space is added after the currencySymbol so that I get "AU$ 100.00" ?
Thanks,
Steven

Oh well, nevermind me, adding a space was enough, I just hadn't restarted my server nor cleaned up the working directory decently.
Thanks anyway ;)

    1. Please add to the gateway init file HS_NLS_NCHAR=UCS2
    Then test again with a new SQL*Plus session.
    When it continues to fail, what's the character set of the Oracle database being used and how did you set the NLS_LANG in your environment?

    Have you tried this?
    To Perform A Hard Reset
    Shut down the computer by going to the Start menu and selecting shut down. (If you have no display, hold the power button down for  5 seconds)
    Disconnect the AC Adapter from the notebook.
    Remove the battery from the bottom of the notebook.  There will be a switch/button to eject the battery.
    Wait at least 1 minute with all power sources disconnected.
    Re-insert the battery and reconnect the AC Adapter and then attempt to power on the notebook.

  • Space after negating exclamation mark

    Hi, is it possible to add a space after a negating exclamation mark in the code formatting rules such as:
    if (!true) {}   <- I don't want this style
    if (! true) {}  <- I do want this
    I think that the Tools -> Options -> Text Editor settings give me quite limited choices when it gets to customizing your code formats. I want to do this for JavaScript if that matters.

    The ! means that iPhoto has lost the link to the actual images
    i
    Option 1
    Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
    Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
    This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
    Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

    I have confirmed that this feature was not included with the basic software package of the Incredible 2.

  • Automatic space after numbered list items

    Is it possible to have pages automatically add a space after the number and dot with numbered lists? For example, have it automatically add the text "II. " as opposed to "II.". It would save me having to keep typing the space. Thanks

    OK, I figured it out. For anybody else with the same question, you click inspector (on the toolbar), the "text" tab, then the "list" tab. You have to change it for each number indent, but change the text indent. I found that something between .25" and .3" is good for me.

  • How to Add Carriage Return After PageBreak using XSL code?

    Hi,
    I have created one RTF Template for Check printing. My requirement is to print check on next page if total number of invoices exceeds certain value.
    I achieved this and used below condition in my RTF Template.
    <xsl:if xdofo:ctx="inblock" test="count($invLines)>=$lpp"><xsl:attribute name="break-after">page</xsl:attribute></xsl:if>
    "lpp" is global variable whose value is set at the start of template. Now i also want to add some space after pagebreak in my Template.
    Like presently, check prints at the top of page, so i want to print it after leaving 9-10 lines blank.
    Can anyone please help me to achieve this?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I tried below syntax but its working only for first page, its not giving space for second page
    <xsl:if xdofo:ctx="inblock" test="count($invLines)>$lpp"><xsl:attribute name='space-after'>700pt</xsl:attribute></xsl:if>
    I want to combine it with page-break. Like i need specific space only after page break. I tried to combine both, but its not working. Any inputs on these?
    <xsl:if xdofo:ctx="inblock" test="count($invLines)>$lpp"><xsl:attribute name='space-after'>100pt</xsl:attribute>

  • SVN Tab Complete issues (space after each complete)

    Morning all,
    I've got a weird issue with my SVN tab complete using Bash, it adds a space after each item it completes - for example: Say there is a directory 'foobar' with a file 'zomg' within that, I'd type 'svn add fo' and then hit tab - however, this results in 'svn add foobar ' (note the space). This is highly annoying, as I can no longer hit 'z' then tab to complete it to 'foobar/zomg', I have to remove the space, then go again (it does it for everything, so adding something like 'foobar/zomg/wtf/bbq' is a nightmare.)
    So far it only does it with Bash, I've not been able to test it on other shells. Subversion 1.4.6-4 on an up-to-date Arch install with core, extra and community repos enabled (however it has done it from the very start of me using Arch, so it's not a recent update that killed it).

  • Add space after bullet list

    I would like a way to control the space AFTER a list of bullet points ends. The last item in a bullet list, in other words, before the text that follows. I can control spacing between paragraphs easily, but with bullet list, each item has a paragraph return.
    I could manually add additional spacing on the last item in a bullet list. But it'd be cool if I could have that in my Styles. Maybe it's a feature request.
    As a web developer, I know in HTML I can control spacing before and after a list (ul).

    You need to have a special paragragh style for the list. There is a default bullet list style in Pages 4. Use it for the list.
    For the Body text, use that style for the body text, set both line spacing before and after. Like you say you can't set it for the bullet list as all lines in the list will get more spacing.
    Or do what I usually do I add a paragraph break before and after the bullet list.

  • How to add a SPACE as suffix to the last field in the downloaded text file?

    Hi Experts,
    By using GUI_DOWNLOAD am saving the data(only 3 fields) in a text file on my desk top.
    fine.
    example current record1 : 010001                      354.999            26.000
    here, after 3rd field 26.000, immediately the cursor is jumping to next line in text file.
    but, wanna a SINGLE SPACE after 26.000, say 26.000+space.
    tried with CONCATENATE, OFFSETTING, but no use(may b am using incorrectly)

  • Space after Paragraph: How much picas equal a blank line in Garamond Regular 7.5?

    I'm using Indesign CC and  would like to add a blank line after every paragraph in my document. I found out how to do that, but the only unit I'm offered is picas. I could probably switch to inches, but that doesn't really help me. My main text is written in Garamond Regular font size 7.5 and I would like to have blank space after each paragraph equal to a blank line written in that font with that size. How do if find out much large a blank line with those font settings is? I guessed and it seems to be equal to 0p7, but it would be great if I could do that without guessing blindly. I'm glad for any help.

    I am not sure to understand.  Garamond (or any other typeface) 7.5 equals to… 7.5 pts. But the size of a typeface is measured from ascender to descender, so it does not give you an accurate idea of the real height of the line. But leading is measured from baseline to baseline and this corresponds to the measure you are looking for. Once again, you need to know the leading value and you have to enter this value for the space after.
    And 1 pica is equal to 12 pts.

  • In insert: Space after period and before carriage return is being ignored

    I am using Oracle 11.2.0.2.
    let say I create table temp(a varchar2(20);
    insert into temp values ('value.
    valuue2');
    I have put space after 'value. ' but it is being ignore when I run it from linux host in sqlplus.
    The space seems to be preserved when I insert it from TOAD/Windows xp.
    Any idea what might be causing it.

    hI,
    I have the same result in SQLPLUS.
    I would not rely on code with strings spread over multiple lines you should use the below code to add newlines:
    insert into temp values ('Yes.Space. ' || chr(10) || 'x');This makes it very clear there is and a space and a newline.
    This is much easier to maintain as well.
    Just to compair the two, see below:
    select
      LEVEL
      ,substr(a ,level,1)
      ,ASCII( substr(a ,level,1) )
    from
    SELECT

  • Space after in one style affecting the style before it

    I have bit of text like this:
    Bold head
    regular body
    when I add space after to the regular body style, it has the effect of adding space after the Bold head, but when I directly apply space after using the Control bar, this doesn't happen!
    my regular body style has no space before.
    Can anyone see why space after in one style would appear to affect the previous style.
    when I say "previous" and "before" I mean in the order they appear relative to each other.
    thank you!
    John

    No, there are no manual overrides. I tested with a manual formatting just as an experiment, but then removed it immediately afterward.
    InDesign as with many other programs will indicate a modified style with a little "+"  None of my text shows this + sign next to their styles.
    Thank you!

  • Double space after apostrophe in iMessage

    Ever since I updated to Mavericks, iMessage on my MacBook Pro (mid 2012) adds a double space after I use an apostrophe! It also doesn't save my background color preference (but it does save font color, font, and other user's font and color). It only shows up for me, not for the person I send the message to.
    It looks like this:

    Hi,
    The Original Poster newer came back with any more info on the subject.
    This also left her Balloon (or Background) colour unresolved as well.
    In Messages 8 (Mavericks) the Smiley function now uses the Emoji font to create the Smilies.
    In iChat versions and Messages 7 you could show the Smiley drop down and mousing over the Smilies would reveal the text keystrokes that would be needed to create it if typing them.
    This does not happen with the Emoji Font.
    However most of the icons are created by double character info which may mean a keystroke might just be invoking it.
    Playing with these settings may provide something.

  • Creating Space after a Paragraph Style

    Okay, all, this may sound weird. All I want to do in CS4 is have an extra 4 pt of space after a particular paragraph style. Specifically, my paragraph style, Body Text, already has "space after" specified at 3 pt. Fine. But, for example, when I have three paragraphs of just this style, I want the three paragraphs separated by an additional 4 pt of space. (There is no consistency in documents when this situation occurs.)
    At first, I thought it might be possible to do this via a nested character style. Nope. Back in FrameMaker, I used to do this manually, whenever I wanted extra space. My trainers would add paragraph tags (ugh).
    Still a newbie...
    Thanks!

    Maybe I'm really missing your meaning here. When I override a style setting to get more space below, I add space below the *paragraph*. I don't adjust anything about the last line. This is no different in Framemaker. In Framemaker, you can add space above or below a paragraph, either as part of a style (what FM calls a "format") or as a style override. You don't "adjust the last line of a paragraph" in either program.
    There's one important difference between FrameMaker's paragraph
    spacing and most other DTP or WP tools: Space between FM paragraphs is
    NOT ADDITIVE. Space below a paragraph is not added to space above the
    following paragraph. In FM, the larger space wins. (I think Ventura
    has this feature also, or perhaps has the option for additive or
    larger-one-wins.)
    If the issue is to make inter-paragraph spacing work non-additively
    like FM, please file a feature request for this as an option, at:
    www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
    EDIT: The forum was unavailable for a while, and my email response was bounced. By the time I discovered the rejected mail, I saw Lizbeth's mention of having used Based-on paragraph styles. Probably the based-on style caused the mysterious behavior. The based-on property style information is only visible in the define/modify style dialog box. I'm going to enter a feature request for an indicator for the based-on property that will appears wherever a style's name appears, and, if possible, displays the name of the based on paragraph, character, and object style. Master pages do show the based-on master letter on the page icons in the pages panel, but they lose their own letter. I'll also ask for this feature.
